It's been a few months since the Cullen's have settled back. It'll be soon time to graduate. I was laying in Jasper's bed as he stroked my hair.
" Our future is intuned like a song. Like light and the sound of the forest intertwine, the wild nature will call on one another again." Jasper said as I chuckled.
" Where did you hear that?" I asked as I just chuckled. Jasper stared into my eyes. His wavy honey brown locks lay stray but in a maintained way.
" Nowhere, just a thought." Jasper said as he carefully placed a kiss upon my forehead.
" The thought is beautiful." I said as I turned my head to his stomach, I turned my body to him. He chuckled and just began rubbing my back.
" Are you sure you are a wolf and not a cat?" Jasper asked before I let out a playful growl.
" Much love to you too Jasper." I said with a chuckle.
" You are strong and beautiful." Jasper said as I sat up and stared at him before sitting on his lap. my head against his shoulder, I could feel his head on top of mine.
" What do you think our future will have with one another?" Jasper asked as I chuckled. I got up and he followed suit.
" Wanna take a walk near the river?" I asked as he smirked. He carefully picked me up and jumped out of his balcony, the moonlight improving his features. We were soon on the ground. I landed with grace as Jasper smiled. We began to walk the ravine. I saw a large dark silver furred wolf watching me. It left and I just focused back on Jasper.
" Our future is us together. Pushing through anything that comes our way, no matter vampire, werewolf, or fucking anyone." I said as he smiled.
" I see us together. In any state, country, or matter, we are strong. You are my song." He said as I smirked.
" I like that." I said as Jasper spun me carefully. I chuckled as he just snickered. The way he was just made my heart sore and flutter. My inner wolf howling in excitement. Everything he was made my heart sore to a higher and higher place.
" What are you thinking about?" He asked as I jumped on a log and walked alongside him. I couldn't stop thinking earlier about Victoria.
" That something is going to come along and try to tear your family apart or tear me apart." I replied as he jumped up to face me.
" She hasn't been around since Bella saw her when she went cliff diving." Jasper replied as I nodded. We walked along the riverside. Every now and again Jasper would lift me and spin me. He was much more attentive lately. I looked at my phone to see the time being almost midnight.
" I gotta get home." I said as Jasper nodded. We got to his car and drove off.
" I'm just glad we don't fight." Jasper said as he took my hand in his. I smiled and chuckled.
" Never see a reason too." I said as he smiled. I saw that playful glint in his eye that just made my inner wolf howl with contentment. It wasn't long before I was home. As I got out, Jasper leads me to my door.
" I love you." Jasper whispers as I smiled, leaving the coy smirk on my face. He places a kiss upon my lips before heading out. I heard him peel out of my driveway as I headed inside. I saw Dad sitting on the couch.
" Hey, Dad." I say as he smiles and nods to me.
" I got a question for you." Dad says as I saw him put the game on.
" What are your plans for after graduation? With Jasper?" Dad asked as I smiled, I'm not sure of that myself.
" I'm not sure, might go to college, Jasper's it for me, I know that for sure. I will figure it out as I go." I told him, Dad stares humbly into my eyes before patting my back.
" Make sure you remain cautious of the pack. I don't know what they are up to, just be careful." Dad spoke with caution in his tone and I nodded in agreement. I went upstairs after conversating with Dad about the whole Victoria situation that is yet to be dealt with.
" Hopefully ever will work out and she will get herself in trouble with the Volturi or get torn apart by some vengeful vampire." I said as I got in the shower and cleaned myself of any grim and dirt that my body would have caught. As the water doused my body, I couldn't help but think of Jasper. My body almost quivered at the thought. I know he wanted to wait and I could too, but did he think he could break me or lose control in an intimate moment?
" I gotta get my head out of the gutter for now." I said as I felt my inner wolf huff at my thoughts. I got out and put on a black crop top and some shorts. Letting my body slip into my bed as I let my mind wander.
" Even before I was a wolf I was always warm to the touch, maybe it was always a sign I would be one." I thought aloud as I just let my mind sleep and my eyes close.
Forest, blood, screams, and bodies piling up. I see Jasper fighting with a dark silver wolf. I couldn't move, no matter what I couldn't move. My inner wolf fighting me as I tried to force myself to move. I watched as the wolf tore into Jasper's shoulder, cracking sounds invigorated my ears. I forced myself to shift as I saw a flash of red hair come into my sights. My anger boiled as she took Jasper's head in her hands.
No! I snarled before phasing and going at her. She chuckled and Jasper's head falls from his body. I snapped and everything goes black.
I woke up panting and sweating. I calm myself as I shake in fear.
" That won't happen. I'm the wolf who Imprinted on the Major, the God of War himself. Jasper Hale. I won't let anything happen to him." I said to myself as my nerves settled.
" I swear it." I said as I felt my inner wolf agree.
