Hi everyone, thanks for the love last snippet. I hope you all enjoy this one. I'm going to be working on a new Game Show story based on the Masked Singer that I hope to have posted in the next month.
The Bronx
"This is so exciting San," Brittany says holding onto her wife's arm tightly. "I can't believe we're going to a Yankee game in New York."
"Well, we did just win Amazing Race because of your brilliance. Since you've always wanted to experience a Yankee game in New York then that's what we're going to do." Santana says wrapping her arm protectively around her wife.
Wife. It's so amazing in Santana's mind to be able to call Brittany her wife. She's never been happier, knowing the blonde is hers now and no one can take her away.
"You're the best," Brittany says kissing her cheek.
Brittany pulls a very happy Santana with her to the stadium, gate four. She's excited to go into the stadium.
"I still can't believe we flew to New York just to go to a Yankee game." Brittany says just so happy.
"Believe it Britt, we're about to enter the stadium." Santana says as they reach the wand area and bag search.
"Please take everything out of your pockets and hold your arms out." the wand guy says.
Santana watches the whole time to make sure the guy doesn't do anything being the very jealous bitch she is.
"Watch your hands buddy." Santana growls.
"San, relax," Brittany softly says.
Neither of them have bags so they get to skip right to the ticket scanners. Santana holds out their tickets.
"You two can go in." the scanner guy says.
Brittany yanks Santana in, once in she stops and just stares. A couple people bump into them as they are standing in the middle of the concourse.
"Come on Britt; let's move out of everyone's way." Santana says hip checking a guy who was about to run into them.
Brittany nods, letting Santana drag her out of the way. She's in awe of the historic team's stadium.
"Do you want to go to the team shop?" Santana asks.
"Yes, then we can go to the New York Yankee Museum." Brittany happily says.
"Whatever you want honey." Santana says letting her wife lead her down the concourse towards a team shop.
She has her head on a swivel as they walk to make sure no one bumps into them. The last thing she needs is someone knocking her wife over causing her to lose it. She knows that Britt will be pissed if she gets them kicked out.
"What player jersey do you want?" Brittany asks.
"Um….you decide, but make sure they're a badass good player." Santana says not caring at all but she'll never say no to her wife.
"Okay, we'll both get Jeter's pinstripes jersey." Brittany says grabbing a small for Santana and herself a medium.
"How about this hat?" Santana asks putting on rainbow Yankee baseball cap.
"That's so you." Brittany says grabbing it and putting it in the basket.
Brittany buys them both gloves, souvenir baseballs and mini bats along with the hat and jerseys. Santana gasps at how much money her wife is spending and wants to yell hell no. Of course, she doesn't and instead just hands over her credit card. Brittany kisses her on the cheek, bouncing on her feet.
"Come on San," Brittany says grabbing the bag and Santana's hand. "I want to see the museum now."
Once inside the museum Brittany drags Santana over to the Yankees by numbers wall.
"Wow," Santana says impressed with everything.
"The Yankees have been one of the most winning franchises in sports." Brittany says.
They slowly walk along reading all the plaques and taking in all the artifacts that go along with the numbers.
"Look at all these great players." Brittany says as they move down the years.
"Well, to be a great as they have been, you generally have to have great players." Santana points out.
"Still, to see it all laid out like this is impressive." Brittany says.
They end up spending an hour looking around at all the history. Brittany who has been a baseball fan for years is very excited to see all this baseball history. She doesn't have a favorite team as she feels bad about favoring any team over another. She just loves the sport.
"You ready to head to the seats?" Santana asks.
"No, let's grab some food first." Brittany says pouting a little.
"Okay, okay, you don't need to pout baby." Santana says.
The concourse is more packed now with the game about thirty minutes away. Santana shoves into a group of guys to stop them from plowing into her wife. Using her small body as a shield, she keeps anyone from bumping into her wife. Brittany heads to a hotdog stand.
"I'll have two foot longs, a Coke and Sprite." Brittany says to cashier. "Oh I'll also have a pink and blue cotton candy."
"That will be twenty eight dollars." the cashier says.
"What the fuck!" Santana loudly says.
"Sanny, relax. Stadium food is more expensive." Brittany calmly says.
"Why didn't we either bring food in or eat before." Santana says in disbelief that it costs this much to eat in a stadium.
"Because we can't bring outside food in and we both know you don't like eating that early for the whole night." Brittany points out.
"Fine," Santana grumbles handing over her debit card.
"Thanks Sanny," Brittany says kissing her cheek.
Santana smiles even though she's shelling out more money than she thinks she should. She continues to smile the whole way down to their seats which are right behind home plate. Only the best is good enough for her wife.
"These seats are great Sanny. They must have cost a fortune." Brittany says giving her big thank you kiss on the lips.
"You're worth it." Santana mumbles in complete bliss.
This reaction is why she did spend nearly a fortune to get these seats for her wife.
"We'll get to see all the action from here." Brittany says all excited bouncing in her seat.
"Here you go Britt. You should eat before the game starts or you'll be extra hungry later." Santana says handing Brittany her hotdog knowing if she doesn't eat now she won't eat until the end of the game.
"I'm just so excited." Brittany says taking the hotdog and starting to eat it.
Brittany finishes her food a few minutes before the ceremonial first pitch is thrown.
"Look San, LeBron James is throwing out the first pitch." Brittany says.
"At least he'll make it to the plate." Santana says paying more attention now.
Santana has been a fan of LeBron James for years and is completely floored that he's throwing out the first pitch.
"I can't believe he's throwing out the first pitch. It's super neat." Brittany says.
"I can't believe I didn't know he was going to be here." Santana says as she had done quite a bit of research to make sure they came to a good game.
After the first pitch the teams are announced and the national anthem is sung by an up and coming singer.
"Starting pitcher today for your New York Yankees is CC Sabathia." the announcer says as he takes the mound.
Once the game starts, Brittany is enthralled in the game. She's so focused that she doesn't notice anything else. Santana who honestly could care less about the game is watching her wife instead which is enthralling to her.
Through the first three innings nothing much happens. A few singles but no one gets passed second base. Both pitchers are pitching really good games thus far.
"Sanny, can you get me more cotton candy?" Brittany asks finally tearing her eyes away from the field to look at her wife.
"Didn't you buy two bags earlier?" Santana asks wondering if she has to go back and yell at the hotdog stand guy who shorted her a bag of cotton candy.
"I ate it," Brittany says shrugging. "But I want another one." she adds pouting at her wife.
"Fine, I'll go get you one." Santana grumbles standing up and moving her away down the aisle.
"Hey," some guy says. "Why don't you wait?"
"Because I have to pee and unless you want me peeing on you I suggest you let me through." Santana growls.
The guy backs down and no one else says anything to her as she makes her way down the rest of the aisle. She quickly runs up the stairs to find her wife some cotton candy. When she gets back to the seats, the Yankees are batting.
"Here honey," Santana sweetly says handing her two bags of cotton candy.
"Thanks Sanny," Brittany says kissing her cheek.
"Batting first this inning is Robinson Cano." the announcer says.
"GO Cano!" Brittany shouts.
"Shut up," someone from behind them shouts.
"What did you say?" Santana shouts jumping up, scanning the crowd to see who the fuck just shouted at her wife.
"Don't worry about it Sanny, let it be." Brittany says tugging on her arm to get her to sit back down.
"Yeah listen to your hot friend. Sit down and shut up!" the same person shouts.
Brittany groans as Santana jumps back up and climbs to the row behind them to start her search for the person who's shouting at them.
"Come say that to my face!" Santana growls.
A huge, very drunk dude stands up glaring at Santana.
"Sanny, let it go." Brittany begs standing up to try and stop her wife.
"No, he insulted you." Santana growls trying to get up the next set of seats when Brittany grabs her.
"He's drunk, just leave it." Brittany says coaxing her wife back to their seats.
Santana huffs, folding her arms as everyone around them settles back down and goes back to watching the game. Two security guards come wandering down having been called but with no one saying anything, they head back up.
"You're so lucky," Brittany whispers to Santana.
The rest of the game, Santana sits quietly next to her wife. She knows that if she does anything that might get them kicked out, she'll end up on the couch for the next week. She just follows Brittany's lead in cheering, getting up and anything else.
"We're three outs away from winning." Brittany happily says bouncing in her seat.
Santana wants to whisper finally, as she's bored out of her mind. She doesn't though instead she says, "That's great honey."
The Yankees are up seven to four with Mariano Rivera on the mound closing out the game for them. He strikes out the first batter, gets the second to fly out and is one strike away from ending the game.
"He's the best closer in the game." Brittany says to Santana, waiting for the final out.
Rivera throws the final strike and the whole stadium cheers as the Yankees have won.
Santana claps with everyone else before collecting all their things as she waits for her wife to be ready to leave.
"This was amazing, thanks so much San for getting us tickets." Brittany gushes looping her arm through her wife's.
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself." Santana says leading them out of the aisle and up to the concourse.
"And you're forgiven for your earlier outburst." Brittany says just so happy that she got to see the Yankees win and that the drunk guy left before them so her wife couldn't get into any trouble.
Santana smiles kissing her wife on the cheek so happy she's been forgiven.

"Where were you two on Friday? You missed class." Puck says wiggling his eyebrows when Santana walks in.
"No, just no." Santana says. "We flew to New York to watch a Yankee's game." she says.
"Yeah right," Quinn says.
"You like baseball? You hate all sports." Rachel points out and before she can continue, Kurt pipes in.
"There's no way you did that." Kurt says knowing that Santana doesn't like baseball.
"Girl, you hate most sports just like me." Mercedes says.
"You went to a baseball game?" Finn says in disbelief.
"Did she say she went to a baseball game?" Sam asks also in disbelief.
Just then, Brittany comes skipping in.
"Did you guys go to a baseball game in New York?" Rachel asks before continuing. "Because that's the lie Santana is trying to sell us on why you two missed class when we all know it was probably for other things that you two get up to."
"I love baseball." Brittany states taking a seat next to her wife. "And Sanny was nice enough to get us tickets to a Yankee's game and flew us out. It was so much fun."
Quinn nods and voices what the rest of the glee club are thinking. "It all makes sense now. You went to a baseball game for Brittany."
"Of course I did." Santana says glaring at her.
"She's so sweet." Brittany says kissing her cheek causing the whole glee club to stare at Santana in shock with the exception of Quinn who has known for years that the Latina is a complete pushover for the blonde.
