She's watching the tv peacefully, with her legs tucked underneath herself like always. Regina never understood how she could just sit with all her weight on her knees on a hard floor. She tried once and it felt like her bones would crack. But she is Zelena, one of a kind.

Slowly Regina creeps up behind her. She quickly pinches her hips startling her as she screams "Zee!"

"Ah!" She shrieks adorably and practically jumps in the air like a cat. Regina can't help but laugh hysterically at the scene.

Zelena holds her chest for dear life and glares at Regina. She doesn't say a damn thing until Regina calms down. They're both silent as they stare at one another; Regina grinning and Zelena glaring.

"What are you doing?" Regina chuckles, slipping her lip between my teeth. Zelena rolls her eyes and takes a moment to pause whatever is playing on the television.

"I'm watching porn...what does it look like I'm doing?!" She quips sarcastically. Her anger is immediately gone when she notices Regina's appearance. "What are you wearing?"

"A helmet," she laughs, tapping the hard thing on her head. "Let's go bike riding."

"Who else is coming?"

"Just me and you," Regina reassure her, holding out her hand.

Zelena is skeptical about it but she takes her hand anyways. Together they walk to her garage to get her bike. Zelena and Regina been able to spend as much time together alone as they use to. When they do, it's always with their group of friends from school. As soon as they became high schoolers it's like Regina became a people magnet all of a sudden. Everyone wants to be her friend. She wouldn't be surprised if she's the most popular freshman there actually.

"Okay! I am ready," she enthuses once her knee pads and helmets are secure. Regina quickly skips out of the garage to their front lawn to grab her bike. "Where are we going?

"The park, where else?" Regina calls behind her. Zelena paddles harder with determination just to keep up with her bestfriend.

She could never understand why Regina seemed like super woman. She's faster than most girls, stronger, and everything she does is with perfection. She knows Regina goes jogging early in the morning but it has to be something else giving the brunette her mega strength. Maybe she's on steriods?

"That's funny, that's where Robin went today." Zelena informs, quickly chucking the weird thoughts from her mind. Regina slows down and her face twists with thought. That only makes Zelena grow even more suspicious. "Ohhh no! You are not taking me to stalk Emma!"

"We're not stalking her," Regina pouts, stopping her bike altogether. "We just...we got into a fight this morning and I want to make sure she's okay."

"I'm sure she's fine Reg." Zelena reassures yet rolls her eyes. She so annoyed. It's always Emma, Emma, Emma all the time. She can't wrap her mind around why Regina sets her heart out to the blonde. Yeah, the two "sisters" have gotten more closer over the past years but Emma is still a bitch.

"Regina?"

"Yeah?" The brunette looks up to her bestfriend with a deep blush creeping on her face. Zelena frowns and sighs.

"You still have a crush on her don't you?" Regina nervously looks away and slowly nods her head.

"It's sooo hard! And I don't know if she feels the same but I also dont want to say anything because it's wrong and–"

"You know she feels the same." Zelena corrects giving her bestfriend that knowing look.

"It doesn't matter, we can't be together. You have no idea how much it sucks."

Zelena doesn't say anything. She just feels bad and follows Regina to their destination. Today the park is filled with people and dogs. It's a beautiful sunny day out so most of StoryBrooke is probably here for sure.

"I'm sorry Zee. I shouldn't have lied to you or...what do you want to do?" Regina nervously offers. Zelena hops off of her bike and playfully nudges Regina to lighten the mood.

They ended up just following the trail through the park. They talked about their junior year is going to go which is slowly approaching. They vowed together that they would try out for cheerleading or maybe some sort of other sport. Then there's more things to look forward too since the group is planning a beach trip and Zelena's birthday is coming up in July. She's excited to be 15 and the same age as Regina again.

"Zelena?" The familiar voice stops the two best friends from walking. Just across the way, they can barely make out Robin jogging over from the small field. From what they can tell, their friends are playing kick ball. "What are you doing here?"

"Just hanging with Regina." Zelena shrugs. Robin then waves to Regina who shyly waves in return.

"You guys should come play with us." Robin offers with her pretty smile.

"No, we're good." Regina quickly rejects because her being on anyone's team would be cheating.

"Aw, come on Reg it'll be fun." Zee attempts at persuasion. Then she leans in and whispers. "Emma is over there. It's why we're here right."

"No!" Regina firmly shakes her head and hops onto her bike. "We're here to spend time together. Just us..."

"Okay fine." Zelena shrugs and hops onto her bike as well. "Sorry bug, but we can't."

"Eh, it's fine. See ya."

And like that they are off again, slowly riding their bikes in complete silence this time. Regina catches wind of a snack stand and decides that's their new destination. Zelena, awkwardly follows suit unsure of what's right to say to break the tension.

"You want something? I'm buying."

"Water..." Zelena trails. She then just takes a deep breath and let a rip. "Why won't you play kickball? Actually, you never want to play any sport in gym class either now that I think about it."

Regina tenses and nervously taps on her bike handle as they wait in line. Oh my god she is on steroids, Zelena thinks to herself.

"It's because I...It's not fair if I play with them."

"But why? Are you insecure about your man strength?" Zelena teases. Regina glances at her bestfriend and Zelena instantly backs down. She almost missed the way Regina's lip trembles and it isn't from her gun chewing habit either. This is serious.

"I went through puberty and all of a sudden my body feels different." Regina admits but that isn't enough for Zelena to go on.

"What do you mean?"

"I'll explain later."

Zelena knew that she would never find out. Even though Regina never keeps secrets, so she thought, she knew this secret is a sensitive one. However its not fully a lie. Eventually they went back to Robin and the others. Zelena decided to join them playing kick ball and to make the teams even Emma kindly decided to stick back with Regina and watch. The whole time they did everything but watch actually. They were all over each other, not romantically, but in a way that screams they're too nervous to admit their feelings.

Zelena watched curiously as Emma let her head fall into Regina's lap. The brunette tensed at the act and even blushed. She blushed so hard that Zelena could see it through shade of the tree the two were sitting under. Even after the game, the two continued to flirt as everyone was gathering to leave.

"Regina, can you tell mom and dad that I'm staying with Lily?" Emma begs. Regina firmly nods,

"Sure."

"Thanks! I appreciate it!" Emma beams, forcing a strong hug to Regina's waist. The brunette was too nervous to return the favor. She watches Emma leave with her group of friends, relishing in the way her beautiful hair beams under the sunlight.

"Earth to Regina!" Zelena snaps in Regina's face. Regina shakes her fantasies away and her face goes pink again.

"Uhh!" Regina begins to panic out of no where, quickly hopping on her bike. "I have to go!"

"Wait, what's wrong?!" Zelena quickly calls out to her. She hops on her bike as fast as she can, chasing after Regina. "Regina!"

"I'm sorry! You wouldn't understand!" Regina calls back.

"I'm your bestfriend! Of course I'd understand!" Zelena pleads. And that's what slows Zelena down to allow the frantic red head to catch up. As Zelena catches her breath Regina simply sighs like she didn't just pedal a million times per second. "Geez! Why are you so freaking fast?"

"I have a dick!" Regina just lets it out. Zelena instantly stops breathing, nearly falling off of her bike. Regina cringes, tears filling her eyes as she fears the worse.

"What? I mean...since always?"

"I was born this way." Regina shamefully shrugs. "And when I hit puberty–it's bigger now. Like alot bigger and I've been cursed with man strength."

"Woah," Zelena gasps. "I think that's pretty cool!"

"It's disgusting!" Regina scoff, hugging her chest to secure herself from herself. Zelena shakes her head and pulls Regina into the most loving hug her best friend deserves.

"Your secret is safe with me. I promise. I dont think any less of you Reg."

"Thanks," Regina sniffles, finally returning the hug she so needs right now. Her puberty has her going hay wire. "E-Emma...frustrates me. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing..."

"What like your..."

"Yeah," Regina nods when they pull away.

"Are you a virgin?"

"Are you?" Regina quickly rebuttals and climbs right back on her bike. She shifts uncomfortably showing Zelena just how sexually frustrated she is beneath her skirt.

"No...I mean yeah. Blow jobs don't count right?"

"Wait..."Regina laughs. "You gave someone a blow job before?"

"No," Zelena swallows thickly making Regina pause. "But I have a friend in need and I've always been curious so...there's always a first time for everything...right?"

Regina swallows thickly as well too. She bites her lip as she thinks long and hard. Finally she nods,

"I won't tell if you dont. We can NEVER speak of it...ever."

"Cross my heart." Zelena swear. "Never. It's just between you and me."

But it wasn't just one time. One time turned into many times. They always told themselves they were practicing but Regina never let the thought cross her mind that maybe Zelena developed feelings for her.
