The Doctor comes in and to his shock, both of his patients are now conscious.
He just walked into room with both of his patients staring back at him.
It caught him off guard….
"Oh! Hello there! I am Doctor Wilson. I will help take care of you two until you are healed again."
Asher and Christina greet him back weakly.
"What…. Happened to us…" Christina asks weakly.
"Why are we here?" Asher adds, also weakly.
The Doctor clears his throat.
"The two of you have underwent some serious injuries. Both of you have suffered from smoke inhalation. Your lungs have taken in a lot of damage however, it is curable as to this is a common illness. And you were crushed by heavy boulders that caused you to be knocked unconscious. As you have noticed, you have many bruises all over your bodies. Neither one of you have broken bones thank goodness. The smoke also contributed to it but the boulders hitting you in the heads was the main cause. The two of you have possibly have suffered from concussions. We couldn't find out sooner because we couldn't test you until you awakened. Now that you are both awake, we can test you."
Asher and Christina give him a thumbs up.
"I will assure you two that you will be fine and will be back to full health. Especially under my care. You are in good hands."
"How long…. Will we be here…." Asher asks.
"A few days to a week."
"Are the Octonauts here…." Christina asks.
"Yes, they are all here. I will allow them in soon. I want to give you both some time to yourselves and to fully wake up before they come in. I won't want you two to get overwhelmed."
"I will let them come in in about an hour."

Doctor walks into the waiting room.
He sees that everyone is asleep except for Captain Barnacles and Kwazii.
"Anything Doctor?" Barnacles asks immediately, without even thinking.
He was desperate at this point….
He has been worried sick all day….
"Both Asher and Christina are awake…. They are both responsive, alert and are asking questions."
Barnacles and Kwazii sigh of relief.
Now they can breathe!
"Will they be okay Doctor?" Kwazii asked.
"Yes they will be fine. Although, we still need to run some tests and test them for concussions. We couldn't test them for concessions until they woke up."
"When can we see them?" Barnacles asked.
"In about an hour. I want to give them both time to process everything. I didn't want to bring you all in immediately after they woke up and overwhelm them."
"I understand and respect that. We will be right here when you are ready for us Doctor." Barnacles replies.

A nurse enters the waiting room.
"Doctor Wilson has given permission to see Asher and Christina." The nurse announces.
Everyone is now awake.
A few minutes after Doctor Wilson told Barnacles and Kwazii the news, they woke everyone else up and informed them on the status update.
They were thrilled to hear the good news.
The Octonauts have waiting for a little over an hour to see them.
They had to wait until the Doctor gave them permission to come in and see them.
He wanted to make sure they were fully awake and ready to see a bunch of people.
The Octonauts all rise from their seats and follow the nurse out of the waiting room.
Anticipation rises.
Finally, they can see Asher and Christina again!
Finally…. It's about time!
They haven't seen them in days…. Not since before the big meeting then they disappeared…. Then they got kidnapped by the pirates.
They all have been worried about them!
The nurse leads them down a few hallways along a few turns here and there until they have reached their destination.
A paper with printed words, "Christina Morris and Asher Smith" can be seen in the clear plastic glass to the right of the door.
The nurse opens the door for them and allows them to go in first.
The Octonauts go inside the door.
The first thing they see are Asher and Christina lying down in their hospital beds, looking back at them with smiling faces.
They still have the oxygen masks on.
Everyone runs over to hug them tightly.
"Good to see you guys too…. But I'm… ouch! I'm a little banged up…." Christina says in pain.
"Yeah, I promise that I am happy to see y'all as well but I'm a little fragile at the moment….." Asher adds.
Everyone lets go of them and gives them space.
"So… how are you feeling?" Barnacles asked them.
"We're good…. Just a little banged up. Feeling like a ton of bricks hit us and it feels like we breathed in 1000 gallons of smoke…." Christina answers, pulling the mask up so she could speak.
"I know the last few days have been quite crazy…. We have been very worried about you. We are just grateful that you two are okay and still in one piece." Barnacles says.
"Tell me about it….. it has definitely been quite the adventure…. Like nothing that I have ever experienced in my life…." Asher replies.
"I still cannot believe you two are twins!" Inkling says still shocked.
Asher and Christina turn to face each other for a few seconds.
"Yeah…. I never thought in a million years that I have a twin…" Christina says.
"Same here…. Much less when I became an Octonaut and when I got my dream job!" Asher adds.
Asher and Christina still have questions of their own….
"But I have to ask, who suspected it first?" Christina asks.
"Yeah and what made you think we were twins in the first place?" Asher added.
Everyone stares at one another.
"I would definitely say Shellington." Barnacles speaks up.
"Yes, it was I who started to suspect something. It was just by the way you acted around each other and the fighting and arguing. But what made it more serious and not just a silly guess is when Dashi showed me your birthdays in the computer system. That is when I almost passed out. After that, I knew it had to be something. More than a coincidence." Shellington explains.
"I will say that we are sorry for running out of the room the way that we did and for getting angry…." Asher apologizes.
"It is alright. You two had a lot to take in that day….. something you weren't prepared for. You had just been told a huge secret about yourselves and was just told you had a twin you never knew about. I would have probably done the same thing as well." Inkling says giving them grace.
"I..um… am still in shock about everything. Little did I know, I hired both of you not knowing you were twins and I was the one who reunited you. If I hadn't hired both of you…. You would have never met…" Inkling said emotionally.
After Inkling says that deep thought, Asher and Christina turn their heads to look at each other again.
Inkling was right….
That was a lot to process…..
That was deep….
"Yeow…. That is deep yo…." Kwazii says.
"Yeah….." Asher and Christina say in unison.
What Inkling did was huge….
He was the one who brought them back together…
"Professor, thank you for bringing us back together…." Asher thanks.
"I guess it's safe to say that you have good taste…. For hiring both of us!" Christina laughs.
Everyone laughs.
"But what about the treasure?" Tweak asks.
Everyone else chimes in after Tweak.
Asher uses his right hand to lift up the diamond around his neck.
Asher tells Christina to check for it under her gown.
Sure enough, her's was the in the exact place his was.
Christina pulls her diamond from under her gown.
Both diamonds shined brightly.
"They are magnificent!" Inkling says astonished.
"Jumping Jellyfish!" Shellington gasps with awe.
"I am glad that you got the treasure after all the trouble and hardship you went through!" Barnacles says.
"It was all worth it…." Christina replies.
Now…. There is one question left remaining…..
"Whatever happened to Beau?" Asher asks.
"Yeah whatever happened to him?" Christina adds.
The crew all give each other stares with big eyes….
They looked like they just got caught off guard…
Everyone looks at Barnacles to answer the question.
"He… is here." He answers.
"What do you mean he is here?"
"Is he here to see us?"
Barnacles takes a huge breath. "Not exactly….."
"After you two passed out in the cave, he picked you two up and carried you all the way out onto the beach…."
"What?"
"After you two were carried away on stretchers…. He passed out unexpectedly… it was later discovered that he has severe asthma….. then having to carry you both back…. Caused extreme stress on his lungs and body…."
"He inhaled a lot of smoke…." Barnacles finishes.
"He did all that for us?" Christina says in pure shock. "Why would he do that and abandon his pirate crew?"
Asher looks back at his twin. "Well… it looks like Beau was telling the truth the entire time….." He says shocked.
They both couldn't believe it….
"All I can say is wow….. I don't know what to say…." Christina says, with no words.
"There aren't many pirates of that kind of breed that's for sure…." Kwazii says.
Kwazii was definitely right about that one….
"So… is Beau okay?"
Barnacles takes a huge breath.
"He is in a coma… and hasn't woke up yet….."
