Okay okay I literally just got a review asking for me to upload and since it is the week of my upload I thought before I head out I will post you guys a new chapter.
No when you read this some of you are not going to like how this chapter ends, but I had to spice it up a little so bare with me okay.
I loved all your reviews so far and they make my day every time. I appreciate all the love you guys give me and my stories and I love you all very much so.
Anyway enough of my babbling... here is the next chapter... ENJOY!

Winter break was almost up and we were back to school Monday. We got back from the cabin 2 days ago and I applied for the college in Florida the day after. I had done it and sent it off and I was nervous to see if I would get in. I emailed that Charlotte lady and told her I had applied and she sent back that she has already put a word in for me.
So now that was all done tonight was the winter dance. It was the party before winter break ends. I sat at my vanity and curled my hair after I finished my makeup. After curling my hair I pinned it up the way I wanted it and smiled into the mirror. I stood to grab my dress from the hanger and shimmed into it then zipping up the side. I wore a darkish blue long dress that had a slit up the right leg and a bow that tied to the side.
I ran my fingers over the fabric and looked at myself in my mirror. There was a faint knock on my bedroom door. I looked up and saw Lily standing in my doorway.
"oh my god Brooke you look amazing" she says.
It was a school winter thing so everyone was invited. So Lily stood there in a dark grey longish dress that has glitter across the bust.
"Thank you Lil" I smile turning to face her "you look beautiful too"
"Thanks" her cheeks flushed "Lucas is downstairs" she tells me. I nod grabbing my back handbag putting my phone and door keys inside.
I follow Lily down the stairs seeing Lucas talking with Josh. Then all of a sudden Lucas's eyes met mine as I took a step at a time.
"Wow" was all he said. You would think it was prom, but it wasn't. It was a regular winter dance that happened every year "you look amazing pretty girl"
I thanked him and then we headed out to the dance.
The night was going great so far. The group took a group picture outside before entering the dance. Everyone seemed to be having such a good time. People dancing and laughing. It was like any normal dance I've been too.
"I haven't seen you around this winter break Brooke" his voice sent a shiver down my spine.
"I've been out of town" I answer "not that it's any of your business anyway"
"I thought as much" he says "Brooke I miss you. I miss us"
I give a little chuckle "you don't miss me that much Julian with you running around town with that little druggy slut"
"She means nothing to me Brooke"
I give an eye roll "I don't even care Julian" I state "you can fuck whomever you want I honestly couldn't care less"
"This is getting ready old now Brooke" his nice voice starting to get angry. It didn't take him long "when are you going to realise that our lives were already mapped out for us since our parents met"
"Oh please Julian don't use that. My parents haven't bothered with me since I was 5. I get given a credit card after credit card for my birthdayevery time the limit goes up with their guilt of leaving me. I owe my parents nothing and I certainly owe you nothing too. This destined nonsense isn't for me. Sorry"
"Brooke"
I put my finger up at him to silence his nonsense "you" I point my finger at him "broke up with me to live the awesome summer you wanted. I was there for most if it and then finally realised that I deserve better so I left completely. This whole situation is on you Julian. So you ruined the big picture fantasy that you have in your head okay"
"And I get that, but I said I was wrong Brooke. I know I was wrong"
"And you were also too late because you only realised you were wrong when Lucas came into my life and you saw that he made me happier than you ever did" the expression on his face amused me "now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go get a drink" I stand to my feet and head to the drinks table.
"Are you okay?" I feel Lucas snake his arms around my waist rom behind as I was talking to a girl from my squad.
"Yeah I'm good Luke" I nod saying bye to the girl as she walked off to her date "are you having fun?" I turn in his arms to face him.
He nods "I never really went to dances at my old school so didn't know what to expect, but it's basically just like the movies"
"Lily seems to be enjoying it too" we both look over to Lily laughing with her group of friends and Josh.
"I saw you and Julian talking earlier" my eyes travelled back to his "what did he want?"
"Nothing new" I reply "same old Julian. Trying to talk me into taking him back. I mean you'd think he would get over the situation and me by now, but no he just keeps trying. It's really getting old now"
"Well I can't blame him" Lucas says with a small smile "you would be very hard to get over. Just look how sexy and beautiful you are. It would be hard for me if we ever broke up too"
"Well good thing we aren't planning on that to ever happen then aye" I laugh leaning up to kiss him softly on the lips "now let's go dance" I take his hand and pull him with me to the dance floor.
"Well if it isn't the boyfriend stealer herself" I rolled my eyes at that voice and sip at my soda.
First Julian bothering me and now Nicki. Jeez.
"What do you want Nicki and why are you even here"
"Julian brought me as his date" I nod. Of course he did "are you having fun with my left overs?"
"I'm not entertaining this Nicki" I say going to walk pass her.
"So I heard you've applied for Florida" she says getting my attention now "that's a long way to be away from Lucas don't you think?"
I turn around to face her "what do you know about that?"
She shrugged her shoulder "a little birdie told me" was her answer that I did not like "I would really love to see how you and Lucas survive that long distance stuff"
"Actually we've agreed that we will give it ago"
She laughed "I said I would love to see you survive it Brooke. You can have a go at it all you like. It's actually the surviving of it that matters"
"You're actually a piece of work Nicki. It was you weren't it? I mean you've just made it obvious that you're the one that put my name forward to Charlotte just to keep me and Lucas apart"
"I don't know what you're talking about" she shrugs "just enjoy this" she does a circular motion "thing between you and him because it will fade at some point Brooke. Lucas gets bored pretty easily"
"Well actually it was you that got bored if I remember correctly"
"You weren't there Brooke you've heard the story Lucas told you" she states and I just look at her my body going cold at that statement "he paints me as the bad guy, they all do, but you don't know everything obviously"
Was she right? Was there two parts to every story? Should I have looked at that envelope Julian posted through my letter box? Or is she playing some sort of game trying to pin me against Lucas. My head was officially frazzled.
I didn't know what to believe at this point.
"Julian is looking for me. I'll see you around Brooke" she says walking pass me.
I turned around watching as she headed off into the crowded room. All of a sudden I felt this wave of heat wash over my body. My heart hammered against my chest and my head began to hurt. My vision started to blur as I looked at everyone doing there own thing.
I see Lucas talking with the basketball guys across the room. I started to feel faint. What did Nicki mean? Was she the one that got me noticed? Did Lucas not tell me everything? Was Julian right?
"Brooke" I heard my name, but couldn't put the face to the voice "Brooke are you okay?" again I heard the voice, but I couldn't reply. I'd open my mouth, but no words came out and then I felt coldness hit my body as I slumped to the floor.
"Brooke. BROOKE" Were the last words I heard before I slipped into the darkness.
My eyes fluttered open and I could hear voices surrounding me. I continue to blink trying to clear my vision to see the girls and Lucas around me.
"Oh Brooke your awake" Haley says first
"What happened?" I ask
"You fainted. We think you over heated in the hall" Rachel says "are you okay? Should we have called 911?"
I shake my head "I'm fine" I sit up swinging my legs around "I'm sorry for stopping your fun"
They all wave it off "don't worry about it"
And then Nicki's words hit me. What did she mean when she said what she said? Was she just stirring things? Probably, but something in me told me she wasn't wrong.
I looked up at Lucas and my stomach fluttered with butterflies like they do every time he looks at me. I didn't want to bring Nicki up, but I had to. I couldn't keep it inside and then explode at him later on. That wouldn't be fair. I need to just tell him now.
"Brooke you okay?" he asked seeing the look on my face.
I shake my head "no not really" I reply "I had this erm... well actually Nicki came over to me earlier and I had this not so pleasant conversation with her" Lucas just looked back at me and I could see he was wondering where I was going with this.
"What she saying now?" Peyton questions "Brooke you know she's a lying bitch who will say anything to ruin you and Lucas"
"Yeah I know all of that Peyt, but something in me says she wasn't lying about what she said to me"
"Which was?" Haley speaks next
"Well she practically admitted she was the one that got me Florida, but we all kind of guessed that, but she said that Lucas and I won't last"
"Yeah well how would she know? She doesn't know how strong we are" Lucas says back.
"Maybe" I nod "but she also said that you'll get bored because you have before. Now Luke what did she mean by that?"
I stared back at him and he was standing there looking back at me. I didn't care about what he had done so much it was the fact that he didn't tell me and I looked totally stupid in front of Nicki.
"Girls can Lucas and I have a minute" I almost forgot they were there. They all nodded and left the room and my gaze turned back to my boyfriend "so Luke, what did she mean?"
"Brooke she didn't mean anything by it okay" He finally finds his voice, but I find his answer hard to believe because it took him a really long time to give me it.
"You're really going to stand there in front of me and lie"
"Brooke it was a really long time ago. I'm not that guy anymore you know that. I told you that"
So Nicki was right. There were parts to the story he never told me which made my blood boil. He made me look like a complete idiot.
"What happened a really long time ago Lucas that you left out and thought I wouldn't find out about?" I cock my head to the side waiting for his answer.
"I'm not that guy anymore Brooke. All that Nicki and our friends were doing back then messed me up" I nod already knowing this part "okay well one night I was high on drugs and drinking and I was at this party that Nicki didn't go to and slept with this one girl and we had a on and off thing for a couple months and Nicki found out about it" he says.
"So you cheated on your girlfriend, is that what you're telling me?"
He slowly nods "but she didn't care Brooke because she was sleeping around on me to get high most of the time" he quickly adds.
Again I wasn't mad at what he did before we met. He was a different person back then and he isn't the same person now. I believe all that, its just the fact he left that part out of the story he told me and that was what got me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I raise my eye brow.
"Because I didn't want to lose any chance of you not wanting to know me because I cheated in my past" he answers "I didn't want you to look at me like that"
"I'm not looking at you like this because I'm judging you Lucas, because I'm not at all. I know your not the same person and I know you wouldn't do that to me, but you not telling me is what I'm mad at right now" I tell him "I came to you first because I wanted to hear the whole story Luke and you didn't tell me it"
"I didn't tell you that part because I didn't want to lose you" he says in a panic when I stand to my feet balancing myself.
"I understand that, but you should have risked it Lucas because I wanted to know everything so I didn't look stupid and so they had nothing over us, but look at that Nicki got one up on us" I go to walk pass him when he steps in front of me.
"Wait Brooke please don't be mad" he moves hair from my eyes "I'm sorry"
I look up at him "I'm not mad" I state "just disappointed. I'm going to head home. My head hurts. I'll call you"
"I'll drive you"
I shake my head "I'll call a taxi. I'll text you" I then slowly run my hand down his chest and wall pass him to leave.
