"Oh this right here is my favorite part." Serena said with a laugh.
Serena had managed to get the main copy of Ash's battle against Mirror B. Meaning she had video evidence of him acting more girly than most of the girls he had traveled with.
"Okay, I think I've had enough of this." Ash said getting up.
"Wait you're about to blow a kiss to the crowd." Serena said clutching her side. She had to quickly duck as a shoe was thrown at her head. "Alright, point taken. I'll turn it off." Serena said. "For now." She said under her breath as the other shoe was thrown.
A few minutes had passed, and Ash hadn't returned to the couch, fearing the worst, Serena ran to where Ash had gone to look for him.
"Ash? Are you in here?" Serena asked, opening the door to his room. Sticking out from underneath the bed was a pair of smooth legs. "Can't hide from me that easily." She whispered sneaking up, and grabbing Ash's ankles.
'Bump!'
"Ow…". Ash groaned. "Can you not scare me like that."
"I thought you were trying to hide." Serena said, as Ash crawled out from under the bed.
"No, I was reaching for these." Ash said, holding up a shirt and a pair of shorts.
"Why do you need those?" Serena asked.
"It's not that I need them right now, but our boat to Kalos leaves tomorrow afternoon, and Duking has one last favor for me he wants tonight." Ash said, bringing them over to a suitcase. "Don't you need to pack?"
"Most of my stuff stayed organized, I'll be ready to go with only a few minutes." Serena gloated.
"Well that makes one of us. I think Impidimp hid some things earlier in our stay, I should call Professor Oak to bring him over here." Ash said, heading to the main area.
"Of course Ash, I'll go and get Impidimp right away." Professor Oak said.
"So where'd you find one of Duking's shirts, I didn't think he had anything in here when we were initially let in." Serena asked.
"It's not one of his. I got it from your things." Ash admitted. "Spending the better part of a day and a half in a dress, it made me feel free in a way."
"There's no way one of my shirts is that big on you." Serena said.
"Prove me wrong, go and get one." Ash said.
"I will, just to prove I'm not that big." Serena said in a huff.
"I never said you were big." Ash half yelled after her.
"Here we are Ash, I'm sending Impidimp right over." Professor Oak said, stepping on screen.
"How much of that did you hear?" Ash asked.
"Ash if you're worried about my opinion, don't be. You are one of the more successful trainers I've had the pleasure of seeing off on their journey, no matter what direction you've went with it." Professor Oak said.
"Thanks again Professor, I'll see you soon." Ash said, hanging up.
"Okay, here you go." Serena said tossing Ash a shirt.
"See, it's big compared to me." Ash said holding it up.
"No, put it on, I need to see it on you to prove it." Serena said.
"Okay. If you insist." Ash said, pulling off the other shirt.
Putting Serena's shirt on, it draped to just over his knees. Proving that both shirts belonged to her.
"I'm a freak." Serena said, the statement making her shake to the very core.
"Serena, look at me, I'm the freaky one of the two of us, not you." Ash said.
"Secc thought you were the girl and I was the guy. This isn't right!" Serena said having a panic attack.
"Secc also lives at his work, not everything is right with him." Ash said trying to calm her down.
"How are you so okay about this!" Serena practically screamed.
"I'm not." Ash said. "Every day I look at myself in the mirror, and think about who I used to be, what I used to be. Now a fair amount of this was my choice, but there's also a fair bit that wasn't, and I've had to accept that."
"But being mistaken for a girl? Doesn't that hurt?" Serena asked.
"Not as much when it's complete strangers, sure when someone close mistakes me for one it hurts a fair bit, but I don't let random people's opinions hurt me." Ash said.
"So what about me, won't they stare and say things behind my back?" Serena asked.
"So what if they do? You've traveled the multiverse, faced legendary Pokémon, and cured a shadow Pokémon. If that's enough to make you happy, then what they say won't matter." Ash reassured.
"You really are petite. You know that right?" Serena said, drying her tears.
"Trust me, I can fit into children's clothes, I know." Ash said, a bit saddened at that fact. "Now I'm going to keep packing, do you want this shirt back?"
"Nah, you can keep wearing it." Serena said. She couldn't explain it but this Ash was somehow more attractive than the manly one. Keeping him out of pants was her new goal. "Oh wait your shoes!" Serena shouted, grabbing the ones Ash had thrown at her earlier.
"So have you thought about what you're going to say?" Ash asked, trying to shut the suitcase.
"Say what to who exactly?" Serena asked.
"Seriously? We're stopping in Kalos so you can see your mom." Ash said, switching to putting his whole weight on the suitcase.
"Can't we just see Clemont and Bonnie, then be on our way?" Serena pleaded.
"No, you need to do this. Trust me, you'll feel better after you've talked with her." Ash said, still struggling.
"But first, I need to help you." Serena said walking over.
"I am perfectly capable of shutting my own luggage." Ash argued.
"Shutting, sure, but you're still packing it like a guy." Serena said, neatly taking things out. "Hard items in one, soft items in the other. You have to keep them organized or they won't shut, why do you have a heel pointing up?" Serena asked pulling out the heels ONBS had given Ash.
"That's how they fit." Ash admitted.
"Of course they did." Serena sighed, this was going to be a large project.
A few hours later
"Okay, all of our things are packed, we've cleaned the areas we won't be using tomorrow, and now we wait for what Duking wanted." Ash said, plopping down in a chair.
'Knock knock'
"It's open!" Ash shouted, knowing it was Duking.
"So are you ready to go?" Duking asked.
"Our ship doesn't even get into port until tomorrow, but yeah I guess we're ready for it." Serena said.
"Not that, your grand finale, your final stand, people's last chance at taking you down." Duking said. "The tournament starts in ten minutes."
"Wait I'm not wearing pants!" Ash shouted, as Duking hurried him along.
