CandyLuv99; I figured you would be happy about last chapter. What did you think of Leila and Safi's cub?
Here's the next chapter, enjoy!
Queen Uru was haunted. It's been a few months since the birth of her granddaughter. She should feel disgust for her son's daughter but all she can see is her beloved Ahadi as Zira has her grandfather's amber eyes.
Mufasa and the other teens were young adults. The goldish lioness can't go on and figured it's time to step-down.
As the sun has started to rise from the horizon, Mufasa woke from Sarabi's side and exited the cave to climb to the summit like so many mornings with his father when he was cub.
Alright there was his mother, sitting watching the sun rise. Already knowing what his mother wanted to talk to him about, he took a deep breath before joining his mother's side.
"Is everything okay, mother?"
Uru took a deep breath. "I'm old. I'm not in any condition to rule anymore. That's why it's time for a new rule to began."
Mufasa's amber eyes widened before he shook his head. "You're still young! You could still lead, I know it!"
Uru smiled at her son before looking out into the kingdom that was bathed a gold blanket. "The sun has set on my time as Queen. It's time for a new sun to rise and I know you'll make me proud."
Mufasa bowed his head. Knowing it was useless to argue. "I'm honored."
Uru stood and gave her son a hard look. "I need you to promise me you would bring a heir into the world. It's at least you could do for a old lioness. To be surrounded by grandchildren."
"I promised." Mufasa vowed before walking down the summit with his mother.
Unfortunately, mother and son didn't notice that a pair of yellow eyes was eavesdropping.

Scar was furious. He thought he had time before Uru stepped down. But he was clearly wrong as he watched the goldish lioness roared, giving up the title as Queen of the Pridelands.
Then his brute of a brother roared claiming his birthright as Uru's successor. Followed by Sarabi who was now the new Queen of the Pridelands as well as officially his sister-in-law.
The reddish-brown lion wasn't happy. Not until he was King like Nefertiti wanted for him. His aunt was happy living as Leila's mistress and he was happy for her.
Now to get revenge for the both of them. Give them the life they were denied and deserve. All because of pathetic laws. Somehow, King Jadis words ringed in his head.
About useless hunting regulations, laws of succession, betrothal ceremonies and to kill or eat or mate who ever the hell he want…
And to do that he was taking his aunt's advice.
The leader of the Lion Guard stood on a ledge on the far side of the Pridelands. He had just called for the guard to come. He smiled, thinking about the possibilities of the future. With the guard and his roar he'll be unstoppable and be the true king of the Pridelands.
The first thing he'll do is let the hyenas in the Pridelands, then exile those who are uncannily loyal to his oaf of a brother and wretched mother. Which he couldn't wait to get rid of.
The sounds of his guard apporching caused Scar to focus on the task.
"Reporting for duty, Scar." Hamza, a dark gold lion with a light brown mane said with his head held high.
Scar looked the four over before closing his green eyes, he inherited from his paternal grandfather, Mohatu and unfortunately his mother. Before snapping them open. "I need your help."
Tai, a greyish-tan, dark brown mane lion stepped up. Always been eager to serve and protect the Pridelands. His home since he came here with his younger brother, Haraka to become members of the Lion Guard. "Of course, sir. What is it you need help with?"
Scar laughed lightly at the greyish-tan lion's innocence before grinning a toothy smile. "To get rid of my mother and brother so I can become king."
Amory, a pale brown, bronze mane lion shared a look with his friends and colleagues before turning his dark red eyes on the leader and couldn't help but to burst out laughing along with Haraka, a light brown, dark brown maned lion.
"Hahaha! You're hilarious, Taika!" the light brown lion laughed tapping his pale colour paw on the ground.
Scar growled as he narrowed his eyes. "It's Scar now and this is not a joke! I need you four to help me overthrow Mufasa and kill Uru."
Tai's smile faded as he noticed his leader and friend wasn't laughing. "You're serious?"
Amory looked at Tai and seen the fear in his eyes before looking at his friend and knew that this Scar wasn't joking. His smile dropped before looking at the reddish-brown lion with a look of disbelief.
"Scar, the Lion Guard's job is to protect the Pridelands and the circle of life, not kill royals just because our leader wants us to!'' Amory explained. He looked at the other three who were staring at Scar with wide eyes before turning back to Scar, ''Sorry..but we won't help you.''
''You what?!'' Scar yelled, furious. How dare they defy him. "You'll say no to me! I made all of you! You will do as I say as I am your leader!"
''We won't help you do such a criminal act just for your own desires.'' Haraka said with narrowed brown eyes.
''You traitors!'' Scar roared causing Tai, Haraka, Amory and Hamza to cringe.
''Taika, please! We don't have to do this! You don't have to this!'' Amory pleaded to his leader and friend, who then started to use the roar of the elders.
Amory and the others tried to run away but the force of the roar sent them sailing through the Pridelands and into the reckage Scar's roar already caused. Scar tried to use the roar again, but he just did a normal lion roar and not the roar of the elders.
''W-What?'' Scar coughed confused touching his throat.
"Taika..."
Scar whimpered as he looked up. Just as a gathering of clouds came rolling in with lighting flaring and thunder roaring. Soon a ghostly image of a light brown lion with a reddish mane and amber eyes appeared.
"Father..." Scar gasped as he stared at the ghost above.
''Taika...you disappointed meand the the rulers of the past. You used the roar for evil..so we had to take the roar away from you as a punishment..'' Ahadi said ashamed of what his son has became.
Before Scar could say anything, Ahadi disappeared back into the sky. Scar slumped down and didn't know what to do, his roar and the guard was his only chance at becoming king.
