Crisis of Infinite Visions: A Wonder Woman Fanfiction Story
Episode 22:
On Earth-Const114, in the year 2005...
It's a dark night over the streets of Los Angeles, California.
The antimatter wave is coming down.
Hundreds of bat demons shriek and cower before it in the night.
Down below in the streets... Car pile ups are everywhere.
People are running screaming from the crashing down bodies of bat demons.
A portal of shattering glass space-time comes and goes fast.
And... Three blurs of figures in Amazon battle wear crash tumble right through a cloud of crashing down bat demons.
Wonder Woman crash tumble lands hard into one of the streets.
Wonder Woman groans hard. She's clutching her side.
Dizzily... She wonders, "where am...I?"
She's teary eyed. She sniffles hard.
She realizes, "damn! ! It's more of Aresia's Amazons."
And... Two certain Bana-Mighdall Amazons are standing there: Wearing Aresia's Amazon battle wear.
Bana-Mighdall Artemis may have shapeshifted her long hair to be brownish red hair tied back in a ponytail. But, she otherwise looks a lot like Amazon advisor Adrasteia.
With a dark smile... Bana-Mighdall Artemis still has her spirit energy blade out.
With a heated glare... Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta mutters back at Wonder Woman, "you dare to think of us as just Amazons?! I'm the Queen of Bana-Mighdall...the world you destroyed!"
She grabs Wonder Woman by the neck.
Wonder Woman coughs hard.
Tears are falling from Wonder Woman's and Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta's faces.
Wonder Woman tries to explain, "please! Hard sniffle. You don't understand. Chaos...! !"
With a twisted smile... Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta assumes, "oh, but we do too well: It was your chaos brought about with Titan Coeus's god blade! Hard sniffle. Our goddess Artemis told us. Don't deny it! !"
She hurls Wonder Woman back against the road.
Wonder Woman coughs hard and coughs hard.
She leans against a vacant car...struggling to get back up.
With mixed feelings... Wonder Woman says, "I never... Hard sniffle. Hard cough! I never wanted any worlds to be...!"
Then... Wonder Woman gasps.
She sees the coming antimatter wave...and shattered glass space-time portals lining the night sky.
In the night sky... Flashes fly by: Of a 2017 Justice League fighting a confused Superman, of Lego-M DC Superheroes uniting against a Joker mecha, of a Darkseid looking into a portal, of a 2017 Wonder Woman hurling Steppenwolf up and slashing at him, of Amazons riding on Sky Kangas, of Teen Titans Go at the movies, of a Dark Knight rising in a battle of fists in Gotham, of Green Lantern Jessica Cruz bringing a base down to take out several supervillains, of a Superman and Wonder Woman team up to shatter Steppenwolf's axe to pieces, of a relaxing spa day on Themiscrya for a Jean Grey and a space-time displaced Earth-1975 Wonder Woman, of her using her golden lasso to literally catch a flying X-Jet and slam it down just to knock out a angry Wolverine, of a Scott Summers parachuting away...and of a 2017 Flash speeding across fragments of a destroyed Earth to go back in time to save it.
Around then, in a certain big office building...
Earth-Const114 John Constantine and Earth-Const114 Angela have been walking down a brightly lit hall.
Earth-Const114 John Constantine is carrying a golden cross styled two-handed light gun pointer.
They were wondering about where a certain amulet is...when Earth-Const114 Angela starts to give him a nervous look.
Earth-Const114 John Constantine asks, "what's wrong?"
Earth-Const114 Angela says, "I don't know. I just feel..."
Suddenly... A mystical wind wraps around her.
In mortal seconds... She's being pulled through the elevator door.
It shatters into metallic pieces around the mystical wind.
And... The mystical wind carries her onward...crashing through many walls in a row.
Earth-Const114 John Constantine chases after Earth-Const114 Angela.
She's swept up into the night sky before he can get to her.
But... That's when he sees the antimatter wave coming for Earth-Const114.
For a bit... He looks wide eyed in shock.
Earth-Const114 Gabriel is hovering in the night sky...holding a unconscious Earth-Const114 Angela.
With a heated glare... Earth-Const114 John Constantine figures, "Gabriel. I should have known you'd break your own rules."
With a twisted smile... Earth-Const114 Gabriel figures, "you don't get it, do you? Laugh. A deity from another universe has cut to the chase for me. I wanted to release the son of the Devil through this psychic: To destroy the evil spirits that get off too easy for slipping into Heaven. But... Laugh. That's just how life is sometimes."
Earth-Const114 John Constantine defiantly calls out, "go to hell! !"
And... He fires laser fast fire from his two-handed light gun pointer at him.
Earth-Const114 Gabriel starts to fall unconscious.
With his smile gone... He looks wide eyed in shock.
Earth-Const114 Gabriel calls out, "Father God...! !"
And... He crash lands into a car many floors below.
Earth-Const114 Angela was shielded from the crash by a bright white light shield.
She starts to become conscious again. She starts to get up.
Earth-Const114 John Constantine smirks some in dark satisfaction to himself.
He starts to head down on a elevator.
But... All of Earth-Const114 is about to vanish before the antimatter wave.
Not long before, back with Wonder Woman...
Wonder Woman somberly calls out, "are you crazy?! Hard sniffle. We're all about to vanish from the antimatter wave if we don't go now! Please! Hard sniffle. Can't we fight later?"
Bana-Mighdall Artemis somewhat coldly insists, "our goddess will protect us. Permission to destroy her now, my queen?"
Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta puts a kind of comforting hand on her shoulder.
With a somewhat tense glare... Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta remarks, "life in patriach's world is a unremitting battle. But, to truly defeat them? We must not underestimate their wins either."
Bana-Mighdall Artemis gulps nervously at that. Yet, she sounds calmer now.
Wonder Woman thinks to herself, "if she's really a queen of men haters... Why did she say wins that way?"
Wonder Woman looks suspiciously at Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta.
With some mixed feelings... Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta concludes, "that's kind of touching Diana. But... Hard sniffle. Our goddess didn't send us after you by accident. And, time clearly is passing slower than any of us anticipated. There's time."
With some mixed feelings... Wonder Woman concludes, "well, damn. Hard sniffle. It may not bring back Devastator Woman. But... Hard sniffle. We should all be allies against Chaos. Chaos is trying to destroy the multiverse, and it won't stop with most of your people! Can't we at least all see that?!"
She puts her arms out on the last part.
With a dark smirk... Bana-Mighdall Artemis sarcastically goes, "oh, you poor baby. Laugh! You're going to pieces for losing your Harbinger against Artemis."
Wonder Woman mutters back, "she was fighting the good fight for a long goddess time with the rest of the League of Wonder Women: You don't know what she went through!"
Bana-Mighdall Artemis shouts back, "what do you know about good?! You live with a man!"
They both heatedly glare at each other.
Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta all too lightly says, "now, Bana-Mighdall Artemis."
Bana-Mighdall Artemis adds, "thank you. This is for Aresia and all the Bana-Mighdall Amazons!"
With a battle cry... Bana-Mighdall Artemis angrily charges for Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman barely jump back flips out of the way of Bana-Mighdall Artemis.
They both now have their spirit energy blades back out.
They angrily slash their spirit energy blades at each other. Spirit energy sparks fly.
With Bana-Mighdall Artemis continuing to slash at her... Wonder Woman starts to trip over the edge of the highway.
Wonder Woman says, "this crazy contest ends now Artemis!"
She jump kicks off of the edge...charging for Bana-Mighdall Artemis.
But... Bana-Mighdall Artemis side kicks her hard to the road.
Wonder Woman groans hard. She's struggling to get up.
Her clay-mortal hybrid form has cracks all over.
With a dark smirk... Bana-Mighdall Artemis figures, "you're right: It ends with your destruction by my hand."
Bana-Mighdall Artemis has her spirit energy blade aimed right at Wonder Woman.
She's about to finish Wonder Woman.
But... Wonder Woman gets a idea.
Wonder Woman thinks out loud, "you've defeated me fairly, Bana-Mighdall Artemis. Hard sniffle. You only fight because you feel you have to. Please don't let my confession fade from the sunlight."
A little teary eyed... Bana-Mighdall Artemis contemplates, "poetic words for a bringer of chaos. What could you possibly confess we don't already know?"
Wonder Woman gets up to face her. But, she doesn't look mad at her now.
Wonder Woman somberly supposes, "have you ever stopped and wondered why you've been fighting Ares on your Earth for years? Hard sniffle. You know there had to be a traitor in your midst. Don't you?"
Bana-Mighdall Artemis and Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta look wide eyed at each other in shock.
Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta cries out, "that is enough! Hard sniffle! She's just trying to trick you into destroying me!"
Bana-Mighdall Artemis realizes, "you know... Hard sniffle. This is really beginning to make sense. On our world? You always saw Hercules at night. You said it was attempts to destroy him. But... Hard sniffle. You were the traitor. The secret partner of Ares's champion."
Tears fall from Wonder Woman's and Bana-Mighdall Artemis's faces. They sniffle hard.
Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta murmurs, "I was! Hard sniffle. It's true! ! Please don't destroy me! !"
She breaks down sobbing, doubling over.
Wonder Woman points out, "well, Artemis... Nervous gulp. What kind of Amazon do you want to be now?"
Bana-Mighdall Artemis slightly glares at her.
Bana-Mighdall Artemis thinks out loud, "I don't know what kind you are, Diana. But... Hard sniffle. This chaos ends now. Goodbye, Hippolyta."
Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta cries out, "no! !"
And... Bana-Mighdall Artemis slashes her spirit energy blade into Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta.
Bana-Mighdall Hippolyta falls unconscious.
Her shapeshifter ambrosia hybrid form starts to vanish before the antimatter wave...along with the highway.
On Earth-1, in the year 2010...
Maxwell Lord has just punched out Earth-1 Ted Kord.
Earth-1 Booster Gold, Black Beetle, Blue Beetle Dan Garret, and Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes are coming out through a forming bright whitish blue time portal.
Silver Banshee sonic screams, "go back to your pyramids, beetle men! !"
Earth-1 Booster Gold and his forces cry out in mental pain from the surprise attack.
Over the sonic screams... Black Beetle calls out, "no! ! These pictures... These sonic screams... We're off the mark, Booster!"
A gallery of living paintings of Atramentum with microchip-medieval hybrid suits of battle wear on patrol. Many Earth-1 superheroes are trying to break out of the living paintings...only for the Atramentum A.I. guards to hurl them backwards or knock them out.
With a dark smile... Silver Banshee runs off to catch up with a already running Maxwell Lord.
Black Beetle mutters under his breath, "oh no you're not! Good night sonic screamer."
And... He fires a big blast of near reddish orange energy at Silver Banshee.
She falls unconscious.
Maxwell Lord worriedly calls out, "Siobhan! !"
He reaches out his hand toward her.
Suddenly... A space-time displaced Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman gets Maxwell Lord in her golden lasso.
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman somberly concludes, "I may not know everything in the multiverse. But... Hard sniffle. I know a ghastly plot to destroy a symphony of life when I see one."
Maxwell Lord moderately sighs.
All too lightly... Maxwell Lord says, "come on. I don't know which Wonder Woman you are. But, my company Chimtech would give more life and music to this world. Once my other self sees my gifts to him? He'll see my way."
With a heated glare... Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman thinks out loud, "they're not gifts: They're trapped against their will! If you won't call off your guards... Then maybe I should destroy you right now."
Maxwell Lord looks wide eyed in shock at the last part.
Just then... Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman knocks him out.
With a smile... Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman remarks, "there goes your vainglory."
With a smile... Jaime Reyes figures, "Wonder Woman just took him down for us. That's cool!"
Dan Garret awkwardly points out, "sure. But... Why are we here? We thought you calculated it!"
He's pointing to the Black Beetle on the last part.
Earth-1 Booster Gold recalls, "hey! I read through his calculations too. We thought some fluctuations were just tears in the timestream we've yet to be cleaning up. Whoops."
With a nervous smile... He gestures with his hands up some like "I don't know".
Dan Garret somewhat tensely comments, "what?! This is already out of hand, and we haven't even...!"
Through shattering space-time portals... Flashes fly by: Of a 2018 Aquaman and Mera seeing Atlantis for the first time, of a 2019 Shazam family exchanging fists with the Seven Sins at a fair, of a 1985 Rorschach lighting fires all around him to try to escape from police, of a 1997 Sue Sparks and Steel firing their way through Burke's lair, of a 2021 Harley Quinn walking confidently in the rain with several squad members including King Shark, of a Superman punching hard through The Elite's leader Manchester Black's psychic shielding to knock him down, of a New Frontier Justice League charging for the hellish living island The Centre in the sky...and of a fluctuating 1984 Dreamstone with a laughing Zeus in it playing with action figures of a Steve Trevor, a random guy, and a1984 Wonder Woman.
Everyone looks wide eyed at the shattering space-time portals in shock.
Black Beetle realizes, "now I and my scarab know why my calculations were brushed off. The Maxwell Lord on Earth-0, who this Maxwell Lord swapped places with, will find and use the Dreamstone to go back in time to 1984 and create a darker timeline the likes of which even Tio Amparo would be scared by."
With a faint smile... Dan Garret remarks, "it's kind of funny how one stone could play god."
With a faint smile... Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman comments, "well... As long as you have enchantments or a second spirit to protect you."
Booster Gold cluelessly wonders, "second what now?"
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman adds, "it's a long story."
Jaime Reyes realizes, "wait a minute. You...you're Hector?!"
Teary eyed... Black Beetle starts to explain, "Jaime? Hard sniffle. I went back in time to save Nadia. She explained what really happened that night. I... Hard sniffle. I don't hate you anymore. But... You're going to hate me."
Jaime Reyes argues, "what?! That's crazy. I never could hate you. You and Nadia are my friends."
Black Beetle somberly whispers to him, "the Time Stealers evolved the Black Beetle scarab I found. Hard sniffle. If I help them wreck the multiverse? They'll give me the power to time travel and perfect control over the scarab to save Nadia. Hard sniffle. I'd rather be destroyed to save the multiverse from Mr. Mind. I'm the only one who can! Hard sniffle. I can't come back, Jaime."
Teary eyed... Jaime Reyes suggests, "yes, you can! Hard sniffle. We always have choices, Hector. Don't you want to go back home with your sister Nadia?"
Black Beetle looks nervous.
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman, Dan Garret, and Booster Gold nervously smile a little.
Around then, on the Monitor's Station...
The Monitor's viewscreen shows only five present worlds remaining. Only the Universe Orb has been keeping random past points in time across the multiverse safe from the antimatter wave.
Ten Shadow Manhunters at a time are randomly appearing on the Monitor's station...trying to destroy the unconscious The Monitor.
Earth-JWW Wonder Woman pulls them in with her golden lasso one by one.
At the same time... She's jump kicking and punching them hard in the air...having the momentum alone surprise phase them out of the Monitor's station and into space.
Pariah is exchanging fists with some Shadow Manhunters. He's putting up his cosmically protected gauntlets to block their fists and punch back.
With help from Brainiac-5 attuning his force fields to the same vibrational frequency as Pariah's gauntlets ahead of time? Brainiac-5 is using force field silvers around his arms and legs to exchange fists with several Shadow Manhunters.
Many Shadow Manhunters are knocked back by Pariah and Brainiac-5.
Johnny Quick speed punches the getting knocked back Shadow Manhunters to daze them. He throws one of the dazed ones into a incoming Shadow Manhunter to daze them both.
Around then, on Qward...
Harbinger says, "it is a really good plan, Firestorm. But..." Earth-1900 Wonder Woman adds, "we have a better plan."
Firestorm hears out their plan over his Green Lantern ring.
With a smile... Firestorm flies out of Qward.
Chaos cries out, "no! !"
In a god minute... Chaos was seeing the antimatter wave firing chamber destroyed by Earth-One Flash.
But... After realizing Owlman thought of making a backup antimatter wave firing chamber?
Chaos looks in great amusement and relief.
And... From a slow motion angle... Goddess Earth-947 Wonder Woman punches Chaos down.
Both Green Lanterns and The Chosen use their Green Lantern rings to fire a ton of green astral energy fireworks at Chaos.
Chaos's star eyes spin around and around in a daze.
Harbinger, Firestorm, the rest of The League of Wonder Women, and The Chosen get astral green hands and their golden lassoes all around Qward. The Justice League of Eight Universes and the Triple Stars help move Qward with their combined strength.
Nightshade, her Mannishade forces, and Qwardians vanish in shadowy portals.
Earth-1900 Wonder Woman fires God-Overkill lightning into the antimatter wave firing chamber.
The antimatter wave firing chamber is collapsing into itself all the quicker.
And... Earth-1900 Wonder Woman and many of her allies launch a exploding Qward into the space-time tear over Pariah's Earth...sealing it up for good.
The shattering space-time portals are warping back in time...restructuring back altogether.
Earth-1900 Wonder Woman and many of her allies smile wide and laugh in some relief.
On Earth-1, back with Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman...
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman points out, "right now... I believe I know how we all can go forward."
And... She gets her golden lasso around the Dreamstone.
Dan Garret, Jaime Reyes, Black Beetle, and Booster Gold smile in a knowing way.
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman struggles to pull the 1984 Dreamstone free from a space-time portal. But...she continues pulling it hard.
Black Beetle figures, "good idea. Booster Gold?" Booster Gold asks, "yeah?"
Black Beetle suggests, "you both should reach for it. You can wish for saving Ted Kord."
Booster Gold lightly goes, "great! I'm all for this plan."
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman chuckles a little.
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman figures, "maybe we'll see each other some day...whoever you are."
And... At the same time... She and Booster Gold catch the 1984 Dreamstone.
There's a bright flash of near orangish white...and a distorted cry from a Zeus.
Then... The scene cuts to Dan Garret, Jaime Reyes, Black Beetle, and Booster Gold jumping through a then smashing in window.
Earth-1 Maxwell Lord and Ted Kord reactively shield their eyes against the bright white light coming in.
And... Booster Gold lightly calls out, "yes! That Dreamstone really works!"
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman wished for all the time displaced Wonder Women, Maxwell Lord, and Silver Banshee to go back to where they came from before space-time was shattering. This has stopped Maxwell Lord from capturing many superheroes with living pictures of Atramentum by sending him back to the year 2013.
Earth-DCB1 Wonder Woman just didn't know Wonder Woman already has a way back to fight Chaos.
On Earth-Const114, back with Wonder Woman...
One at a time... Shattered points of time are warping back to normal time.
Wonder Woman awkwardly asks, "umm... Artemis? Do you know how to get out of here?"
Bana-Mighdall Artemis faintly laughs.
She suggests, "we could jump."
Bana-Mighdall Artemis points toward warping backwards shattered points of time.
Wonder Woman lightly figures, "all right. What about that one?"
She's pointing to a warping back point of time...of Wonder Woman and Devastator Woman charging together for Chaos.
The teariness in Wonder Woman's and Bana-Mighdall Artemis's eyes is starting to dry up.
Bana-Mighdall Artemis remarks, "humiliated Amazon first."
She extends her arm out toward a certain warping back point of time.
With a slight glare... Wonder Woman warns, "hey! Don't get arrogant."
Bana-Mighdall Artemis argues back, "you don't tell me what to do."
For a bit... Wonder Woman annoyedly sighs into her hand.
They jump off of some flying off cars...as the whole highway vanishes before the antimatter wave.
And... They both jump dive into the warping back point of time.
