Chapter 26: Unbridled Chaos
2020: World of Double…
"Hurry up, they're right behind us!" A voice spoke over the alarms blaring in the room, "Lock the door!"
"Come back here!" Another voice called from the hallway outside as a second person shut the door.
"-ensional Machine has been initialized. All unauthorized personal leave the testing area."
Immediately as the warning ended, a purple vortex opened in front of the machine on the pedestal.
"Where does this lead?" The one who locked the door asked in concern. It had just been activated not even an hour ago and was not interested in being scrapped so soon.
"Does it matter?! This place is about to blow in a few minutes!" Damn that Overseer. Why would he leave him behind?!
BANG! BANG!
Dents formed as the person on the other side of the door tried to break it down. Seeing that, the leader of the duo grabbed and pulled along its mechanical ally through the portal to Remnant…
World of Remnant…
"OOO, I thought you knew by now. It's Tsukasa who gets blamed for things he didn't do. Not me."
"Wha-What?" Eiji stuttered at Kaitou's words, "But Tsukasa said that you were the one who kidnapped them!"
"I haven't even seen him in two years and now he's saying that I abducted a bunch of kids?" Kaitou said, twirling his gun, "You sure he was thinking straight?"
"Well... He had been up for a few days...but you know him! He wouldn't make a mistake like that!"
"Hang on!" Yang interrupted them, having calmed down a bit, "So was he or was he not the one who took Blake and Ren?!"
"Look, I don't know what's wrong with Tsukasa, but I swear upon every single piece of treasure that I stole that I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Then who did?!"
"How am I supposed to know? I just got here about a week ago and even then, I was in the other cities. The only reason I knew Tsukasa was around was all the rumors about some pink-armored hero running around this place along with his traffic-light partner." Kaitou explained.
"How about Jin?"
"That Humagear Rider from the World of Zero-One? What about him?" Of course, there were six Humagear Riders, but that's another story.
"You weren't the one who brought him here?"
"Of course not. Why would I do that?"
"Shouldn't we do something about those guys?!" Qrow interrupted the two. He didn't know what they were talking about or how important it was, but he knew that they should deal with the mooks.
"Oh-! Sorry. Kaitou, can you help?" Eiji apologized to the Huntsman before turning back to the thief.
"Not interested." He was here for the Relic; the end of the World (well…school) didn't matter to him.
"I'll tell you about the Relics." It was a white lie, Eiji knew nothing about the Relics, but the situation called for it.
"…Alright."
With Team RWBY (Or RW)...
"Three, two."
"Ah!"
"Six, three."
"Damn it!"
"Eight, five."
"Jaune!"
"We're getting nowhere with this!" There was nothing they can do to change the status quo. They weren't able to hit either of the monsters nor can the teens evade the attacks. Unless something happens, their defeat was guaranteed.
"Why do all of you persist in fighting us? At this point, it is impossible for us to lose!"
"Shut it, you one-eyed triangle!"
"Hmph! Seven, three!"
As Yang could have attested to had she been around, insulting someone with teleportation abilities was not a good idea. Nora, the insulter, was immediately knocked down by a teleported J.
"…I apologize," J said after a brief moment of staring at the teen, before getting punted by Nora.
"Hey, Ruby," Weiss whispered to her leader, "Please tell me that you've got a plan."
"I've got the start of one. Come on," She would not sure if it would work. If not…she needed to come up with a Plan B. Heading over to where Jin was, Ruby requested something from the Humagear, "Jin, can you distract the pyramid guy? I have a plan."
"Fine," Needing no more incentive, Jin unsheathed the SlashRiser from his belt and spread his wings.
"Alright. Let's use Iceflower!" Ruby couldn't help but shout their combo attack. Hopefully, the monsters didn't hear her.
"Three, fiv-"
INFERNO WING!
Jin flew at full speed at the Foundation member, activating his finisher.
"What?! Nine, four!" And just like that, Jin was teleported right next to J, still flying at full speed.
CRASH!
The result being the SlashRiser being sent sliding across the ground as Jin crashed into J.
"Jin, get off me," J spoke in his deadpan tone, undisturbed by the collision.
"Hahaha! I thought you would have learned by no- Ack! Ice?!" Jin's distraction proved to be useful, as their enemy found his body being weighed down by the ice from the combo attack.
"Now!" Realizing that she needed to seize the moment, Penny used her weapons to tie down the Foundation member.
"Jin!" J, who just got up from the crash, pressed a large pad on his BladeDriver and activated his finisher.
"Got it," Grabbing his previously dropped weapon/Driver, Jin activated his own finisher again.
BOOST UP FOR BUSTER
INFERNO WING!
While Jin created several energy slashes with the SlashRiser, the blade of J's…DriveBlade glowed in a silver color before two large energy rings appeared around him. The rings were then absorbed into his weapon and a large, silver beetle horn appeared above him.
BURNING REIGN!
The red energy slashes were sent flying at the restrained teleporter while J made a cross-slash, sending a silver 'X' simultaneously.
"No!" The Zone Dopant screamed before the attacks hit him, causing him to explode.
KABOOM!
BURNING REIGN!
"Yes!" Ruby celebrated their victory. Now they have to focus on the Raider…
"Urgh… Raider, to me!" From the smoke, the voice spoke again in a pained tone.
Nearby, the Dynamaiting Lion Raider the three members of JNPR away and rushed over to where its controller was.
As the smoke cleared, they could see that someone now kneeled there. The man wore a scuffled, white suit and had messy hair from his defeat. Additionally, he had a pair of glasses. Jin, however, recognized the small device that was attached to the glasses.
"A ZAIA Spec?!"
"This was harder than I thought," The Foundation member muttered before giving the Raider a new order, "Raider, cover me."
The Raider growled before charging at the group again while the suited man tried to make his escape. Grabbing something from his pocket, the man activated it and another purple vortex appeared behind him.
"Stop him!" Jin tried to chase after him, only for the Raider to grab him, stopping the Rider in his tracks.
"I would've enjoyed beating all of you, but I shouldn't get too over my head," With a parting grin, the man took a step backward and was sucked into the portal.
"No!" And there goes Jin's best shot at finding out how they got their hands on the ProgriseKeys. All of them should have been in his hideout back in his World, the ones that weren't destroyed or lost anyway. How did they end up in their hands was frustrating him.
However, there was an unintended side-effect to the man leaving.
"Jin, that guy stopped moving!" Just as Jaune said, the Raider froze as its eyes glowed red. Jin quickly took advantage of it and grabbed the RaidRiser.

KABOOM
BURNING REIGN!
The slash across its chest forced the petrified Raider back and exploding like its master.
"There's someone in there too!" Just like before, the unconscious young man that was once the Raider wore glasses with a ZAIA Spec. Unlike the man, he wore normal clothes except for the RaidRiser. Moreover, there was something else special about the man.
"Hey, he's a Faunus!" The wolf tail proved the young man's origins, as well as confirm what Ruby and co. theory from the photo studio, "They were the ones who were kidnapping people…" The appearance of the suited man matched what Ren had said too. It was the Foundation.
"He was a wolf Faunus? I thought he would've been a lion," Nora, as per usual, was thinking about something different.
"Move over," Jin moved to take the RaidRiser, "It's best I take this back."
"Jin, RWBY. We should make our way to the tower," J interrupted them and suggested what they should do next, "It's directly under the portal. There might be a way to close it from there."
"But we can't leave him here!" Ruby was referring to the former Raider.
"Understood. I shall carry him the whole way," Without waiting for a response, J lifted the young Faunus and carried him over his shoulder, "Let's go."
"Wait!" The Buddyroid didn't seem to have heard Ruby and was already on his way towards Ozpin's Tower, shooting any of the mooks who got near.
Ruby sighed, exhausted at everything, "Come on, guys…"
Ozpin's Tower…
Triple Scanning Charge!
"Seiya!"
KABOOM!
"What's up with that sword?!" Qrow's theory in this being all just a drunken dream was being more and more credible with the reality-bending sword.
"This? It was a gift from a friend." Eiji told him, now back in his original TaToBa form.
"That has to be some friend to give that thing u-! Hey!" A bullet from DiEnd barely missed his head, interrupting Qrow from his conversation.
"Remember what I said about distractions?" Kaitou tried to justify his actions as he shot down some of the Masquerade Dopants, "You too, Hino."
"I know, I know…" Eiji sighed as he inserted three more Cell Medals into the Medajalibur and scanning them.
Triple Scanning Charge!
"Seiya!"
KABOOM!
"Hey, professor?!" Yang called out as she punched out a couple of mooks, "Nothing bad would happen if you keep doing that, right? The universe won't break more than it already has, right?"
"I don't think so. I've had it for ten years now. Nothing like that ever happened before." Granted, he's never used the Medajalibur in rapid succession like this, "Even then, what's the worst that could happen?"
KABOOM!
"You just had to say it, didn't you…?" Qrow grumbled under his breath.
Not many people knew of his Semblance, including his nieces, but its effect was clear, as another purple vortex opened up between them and the mooks. The second portal was a lot smaller than the massive one in the sky.
Needless to say, someone came through it. Two someones to be exact.
"Come on, faster! Before they catch up!" The first was looking back and urging his compatriot.
"Wait! Slow down," The second one said as
"What?!" The first one turned to see what his partner was referring to, "Why?! This way!"
The two immediately started booking it in and went off in another direction.
"Uh… What was that?" It happened way too fast for Yang to properly process.
"That was a… Zodiarts and a Roidmude?" Eiji, like Yang, looked on in confusion as the two monsters ran away from them.
"An Aries Zodiarts, actually," Kaitou corrected, not as much perplexed as the others. More intrigued than anything, actually, "And a numberless Roidmude."
"The other way! Other way!" The two monsters came running back and going in the opposite direction. The purple energy arrows being shot their way were immediately followed by the summoned Kamen Rider Horobi running after them.
"What's wrong with my life…" What had he done that lead to this moment? All Qrow wanted that morning was a drink. Now, he was watching a scorpion-man chase after a human goat and some sort of bat-robot.
"Why are the-?" Before Eiji could do anything about it, however, someone else came through the new portal. A Kamen Rider.
The Rider was split down the middle by a silver-and-black metal stripe. The left side of their body was blue which was mirrored by the red right side. The Rider's body had a silver crest in the shape of a 'W' along with a pair of red bug-eyed visors and a single red crystal in between.
Their Driver was similarly shaped to the crest as it was in the shape of a W. Within it was two USB sticks corresponding to their respective sides; the left being blue imprinted with a stylized, blue 'T' in the shape of a gun while the right side was red with an 'H' designed to look like it was made of fire.
"OOO?!" The new Kamen Rider spoke with two different voices as they pointed at Eiji, recognizing their old friend.
"Double?!" "Another one?!"
"Eiji, where did those two go?!" This time, the Rider spoke with one voice.
"They went that way," Yang pointed in the direction where the two monsters were running. Right now, they had bigger fish to fry.
"Thanks!" With that, Kamen Rider Double went off in pursuit of the escaping monsters.
"Shotaro, Philip! Wa-" Eiji was cut off by four people coming through the vortex.
"-it for us!" None other than the King of Time came running out along with Ren, Blake, and Ren.
"Blake!"
"Yang?!"
"Sougo!"
"You're-?!"
"Hi!"
"Wait... Why are there two Rens?!" It took a moment, but Yang had a double-take when she realized that there were two Lie Rens; one carrying the other on his back.
"Hi," 'Ren' waved at the blonde, wearing a white suit similar to the Foundation X's members. His comatose doppelganger was wearing the exact same suit as well, "I'm Ren."
"It's a long story," Blake, similar to Shotaro, was wearing a janitors' uniform, complete with a cap to cover her Faunus ears. She had a broom in one hand and Gambol Shroud in the other.
"Where did the Zodi-thing go? We need him to wake Ren up," Sougo, also dressed in a janitors' uniform, looked for his seniors.
"What the hell were you guys doing?!"
"It's a… long… stor…y…" Sougo trailed off as he finally realized that they were now in the middle of a battlefield, "What's going on here?! What were you guys doing?!"
"So these are the ones I've allegedly kidnapped. Long time no see, Zi-O," Kaitou waved at the teenager.
"That voice! You're Kaitou!"
"This is the guy who kidnapped you, right?" Yang questioned them and receiving nods from Sougo and Blake. 'Ren' instead shrugged his shoulders, "See!"
"Can wedeal with them first?!" Qrow was getting sick and tired of dealing with everyone's antics, "In case you haven't realized yet; we're in the middle of an invasion!"
"…Who's he?"
"…I quit."
Underneath Ozpin's Tower…
Unbeknownst to everyone above ground, another battle was waging below.
"Bio-Motion Buster!"
FINAL ATTACK RIDE: DE-DE-DECADE
FUKASHIGI MAGIC!
KABOOM!
Well… There was one. It didn't take too long before the who came through the portal to fall before seven heroes.
"That's the end of that." Red Falcon let out a sigh of relief as their cannon disappeared.
"As much as we all would like a rest," Ozpin interjected, "There's still another matter that requires our attention."
"Yeah, yeah…" Decade waved his boss's concern off, "I already know. "
"What do we do with him?" Yellow Lion was referring to the unconscious Ironwood who was lying against the machine containing the Fall Maiden.
"Let's just leave him be," Tsukasa callously suggested, opening a dimensional wall, "Nobody knows there's something down here. Come on."
"Can someone explain what's going on?" Green Sai asked, "We just got here five minutes ago."
Instead of answering, Tsukasa, Woz, and even Ozpin went through the silver wall.
"If people need help, we should lend a hand," With that, the Liveman followed them through…

A/N: I miss the days when I could write longer chapters… On a massive side note, this story has officially reached 100k words! Rejoice!
Anyways, Sougo, Blake, and Ren are back from their adventures in the World of Double in disguises. What happened between the start of the stakeout to there being two Rens? That's gonna be a long story.
Tsukasa and Woz are also back from their adventures in the World of Liveman. That's gonna be a short story. Just like this paragraph.
Next chapter should be the end of Arc 1 of this story. NOT the end of the story, just the first part of it. There won't be a 'Journey Through Remnant Volume 2: The Actual Journey Across Remnant' for a long time.
