It had been 2 weeks since Superman had died and the world was still adjusting to the aftermath of it "So this where it happened" said Kyle "We should have been here guys, This was our planet that we were supposed to protect, If we were here, Superman could have still been alive right now" said Hal "Hal, Our duties expand beyond just Earth, We have an entire universe to protect, Even if 1 of us or any of our fellow Lanterns were here at the time, It could have still ended the same way, Now let's carry on with what we were tasked with, From what General Swanwick told me, The vigilante known as Batman resides in Gotham & that the best way to get his attention is to go to the roof of the GCPD headquarters and turn on that massive lamp" said John.

The 3 lanterns stood on the rooftop, John approached the bat-signal, Spotting the lever he then switched it on "Now we wait" said John "wow this guy really likes to make his presence known" said Kyle "You got that right, What a jackass, Let everyone know that you're out in the city" said Hal "That's the point of it you idiots" said Batman.
The 3 of them turned around & looked up as their eyes locked onto Batman "How the hell did he get here so fast?" said Kyle "I was patrolling nearby and saw the signal, I was expecting to be greeted by someone else, Now who are you three?" as he jumped down and landed onto the concrete roof
John Stewart "We are the Green Lantern corps, We are 3 of a many & massive organisation that are sworn to defend the universe from various threats" "To put it simple, We are the space equivalent of Interpol, The reason we are here is because we have been tasked by our superiors to retrieve the mutated corpse of the alien that killed Superman and take him back to Planet Oa and is it correct that you have the corpse?" said Hal "I do have it but how do I know I can trust you three and if I give it you, What will be done with it?" Batman asked "It will be stored away so no one can touch it or even use any part of it" said Hal "I have already done that" said Batman "Okay fine but our superiors believe it would be best if they had it under their lock & key, We're not your enemies here Batman, This is our planet as well" said Kyle
Batman got angry at hearing that "If this is your planet then where the hell were you three when humanity needed you the most?" "There are many other planets out there that need our help, We had other assignments to complete that were away from Earth" said Kyle "Someone forgot to take their true blood tonight" Hal muttered "I'm not a vampire you idiot" said Batman "You sure about that because your dark attire speaks differently" said Hal "Can you fly?" asked Kyle "A plane yeah I can" said Batman "A plane, Hang on a minute, You're not just some guy in a bat costume are you?" Hal asked
Batman replied by smirking to his question, Hal jaw dropped in shock "Are you freaking kidding me" Batman stood in silence "Let me guess, No one asked you to prom, So now you dress as a bat and prowl around your parents basement" said Hal "What's this do" said Batman who was now holding John Stewart ring in his hand and examining it "No buttons, I assume it works off concentration" "How did you do that?" asked John "You weren't concentrating" said Batman "Give me that you moron?" said John.
Batman handed the ring back to him "You can have the corpse but after this stay out of my city, I don't need or even want your help & don't you ever touch the bat-signal again" "Bat-signal, wow you really into this bat thing aren't you, Do you shit like a bat as well" said Hal "He must do, I would not be surprised if he bites people in order to give them rabies?" said Kyle "Will you two shut up" said Batman "No we won't" said Hal "Clearly that's something you two struggle with" Batman replied "Hal can you stop now please" said John.
John then looked at batman "Take us to the corpse".

The 4 of them stood in front of the corpse as their rings analysed it "It's kryptonian but there is a small amount of human dna in it as well" said Kyle "How did this happen Batman" Hal asked "It's a long story" Batman replied "We have nothing but time, Now tell us everything" said John.
So that's what Batman did starting from the sword of Rao invading Earth to Superman dying "So you fought Superman and won" said Kyle "Yes" he replied "You beat a kryptonian, Got to give you credit for that" said Hal "I am more ashamed of myself than proud, I am supposed to be a detective but I got played by Lex Luthor so easily, I wasted kryptonite grenades on Superman that could have been used for this monster instead" Bruce replied "Well the damage is done, What is your plan now?" John asked "Lex said that he talked to an alien warlord and informed him that Superman is dead, This warlord is planning an attack on this planet, Now that Superman is dead".
The lanterns looked at each other "Well you won't be able to fight this warlord alone which means that you're going to need a" said Hal "Team, You're right, Earth needs a team to protect humanity from all foreign and domestic enemies now" said Batman "Well I volunteer myself on this team" said Hal "No not you, You're annoying, Is there anyone else available from your organisation?" Batman asked "Yeah there is but this is our sector to protect and Hal is best choice for this team, So from this moment Hal is your new team member" "This is going to be a great team up, True blood" said Hal who had now the biggest grin on his face "For fucks sake" Batman thought to himself.

Shazam sat on a roof alongside his brother Freddy, Both of them eating tacos "It's quiet today" said Freddy "Yeah but give it time, Something will pop up" Billy replied, Moments later they heard various police sirens driving down a street nearby, Shazam looked at Freddy "Why you're looking at me, Go dude" "You sure you ain't got the power to see the future?" asked Billy "If I did, You would be the first that I would tell, Now go" said Freddy.
The police cars chased after the car that was trying to get away, Inside the car were 4 men in balaclavas and armed with guns, They had just robbed a bank "Step on it man" said one of the robbers, Shazam flew alongside the car & knocked on the drivers window which startled the driver a little who rolled down the window "Hey, How you doing, I can see that you robbed the back today, Are you willing to pull over so we can settle this peacefully?" Shazam asked "FUCK OFF!" one of the robbers replied, Leaning out of the right car window, He began shooting at Shazam who caught the bullets & tossed them aside "I'll take that as a no".
Flying in front of the car, His hands gripped the front of it, Lifting it above his head, Turning it upside down & followed up by ripping the front and back door off, Pulling out the driver and his associate who was sitting behind him.
The police arrested them while the 2 remaining suspects forced their doors open and tried to make a break for it "I'll get them" said Shazam. A lasso wrapped itself around one of escaping suspects legs who fell flat on his face while the other one was quickly picked up by the arm and brought back in the direction of the police while the now fallen one was being dragged along the ground.
Shazam couldn't believe what he was seeing, It was "Wonder Woman" said Billy "Officers here are your two suspects" as she then dropped the one she was holding in the air "Thanks Wonder Woman" said one of the officers who then handcuffed the suspect.
Wonder Woman looked at Shazam and stuck out her hand "Hi Shazam, It is nice to meet you". Shazam shook her hand "Holy cannoli, Wonder Woman, What are you doing here and thanks for the help as well" "You're welcome Shazam, The reason I am here is we need to talk" said Diana "That's cool, Do you mind following me back just so I can check on my brother" "Lead the way".
Rooftop
Freddy jaw dropped in excited shock at seeing who was flying next to his brother "No freakin way, Wonder Woman". The duo both landed on the roof "Wonder Woman this is my brother Freddy, Bro meet Wonder Woman" said Shazam who couldn't stop grinning, Diana stuck out her hand "Hello Freddy, How are you" "I am good Wonder woman, Can I just say you're a total badass" Freddy replied as he shook her hand, Wonder Woman laughed at hearing that "Thank you for that".
Shazam then asked "So what brings you to Fawcett city Wonder Woman?" "To put it simple, After everything that happened with Lex Luthor and Superman dying, (Me, Batman and Green Lantern) are going to be forming a team of heroes and we want you to be part of it".
Freddy & Billy jaws dropped in shock "Are you serious?" Shazam asked "Yes we are, We think you would be a good addition to the team, We have seen videos of your heroics on Youtube and analysed how you deal with criminals & the general public, I can say we are impressed with your methods" Diana replied.
Shazam was about to immediately accept but then realised the flaw in him being recruited "Oh hell I just realised this is going to put a spanner in the works when it comes to school, Trying to balance both will be difficult" "You are studying at University?" Diana asked "No he is in high school" said Freddy "What do you mean high school, You're an adult man unless you were held back for a long time" Diana replied "It is best to show you instead, Stand back please?" asked Freddy who then backed away from Billy
Diana did the same as Freddy "SHAZAM!" the lightning struck Billy turning him back into his 15 year old self as the smoke dissipated, Wonder Woman looked on in confusion "I don't understand, Where has Shazam gone?". Billy pointed to himself "You're looking at him, My real name is Billy Batson (a.k.a)" "Shazam" said Freddy "You're a teenager who is also a superhero, How is this possible?" Diana asked.
Billy proceeded to tell her his entire story "So this wizard chose you as his successor after the person they previously gave the power to turned on them" said Diana "Yeah he call himself Black Adam, The council of wizards tried to take the power away from him after he used it to overthrow the Pharoah he served, Thus taking the throne for himself, The wizards believed that because he used brute force to take the leadership position of Kahndaq that he would carry on using his power to implement his will with an iron fist, So when they attempted to take the power back by force, He decimated them and forced the leader of the council to flee".
Diana was now in a moral conflict whether recruiting Shazam would be a good idea "The wizards chose you for a reason and so far from what we have seen, You don't use your powers to implement your will, We'll accept your position on one condition" "Which is?" asked Shazam "We trial you for a month, If we are happy with how you handle being part of a team, You will be made a permanent member of our team, While at the same time, We'll try and figure out a way to balance your school life with your hero life" said Diana who stuck out her hand "Deal" said Shazam who shook her hand in agreement "What is this team of yours going to be called?" asked "Justice League" said Diana.

Danica Williams arrived at her hideout, She had just gotten back from tutoring a middle school student at their home and now all she wanted to do was relax, Unlocking the door she entered and switched on the lights and was greeted by a man sitting in 1 of her chairs "Danica Williams, Bruce Wayne" "Nice to finally meet you again Batman, You got my time travel message didn't you" she replied "Message" Bruce replied "Bruce, Bruce listen to me now, You have to stop him, You must stop him, He will unleash the ultimate chaos upon this world" she replied "So what I saw was real, Why did you send me that message" Bruce asked "Because the version of you from the Knightmare of Injustice timeline told me to tell you that you need to stop Lex Luthor" Danica replied.
Bruce jaw dropped in horror at the realisation that the whole time it was Lex Luthor he was supposed to stop "That's what you meant but I don't understand how Superman became evil, He caught me and then killed me?" "That was because of Darkseid, He was the alien warlord who took over Earth, In that timeline Lex Luthor was trying to hack the kryptonian scout ship computers via using his own office computer, In order to see how good their firewalls were and by accident contacted Steppenwolf who is Darkseid uncle and his lieutenant"
Danica took a sip of her vanilla milkshake that she had picked up before she had come home & carried on where she left off "Lex told Steppenwolf about the existence of Superman and that he had been looking for a way to get rid of him, From what your other self told me, A month later Superman went missing for 7 years and then came back in 2022 with Darkseid & Steppenwolf by his side, In those 7 years Darkseid broke Superman via the use of torture and indoctrinated him which worked as it resulted in him making Superman his toughest and most brutal soldier"
Bruce was taken aback by what she had told him "Superman had no control over what he was doing, This is all Lex Luthor fault and the fact that in this new timeline Superman died instead and Lex still was able to call this Steppenwolf whoever he is to come and attack Earth" "Yes Bruce everything that happened was Lex's fault" Danica replied "So you call this timeline Knightmare of Injustice, What does this mean now with Superman dead, Could that future still happen, Also you can time travel, How is that possible" said Bruce
Danica opened a draw, Handing him a batarang she got from his knightmare self "Before you ask where I got it from, Your other self gave it to me, Now throw it in any direction and just watch".
Bruce threw the batarang towards a corner of the room as Danica (ran, caught it and handed it) back into Batman hands "So you're fast" said Bruce "Pretty much" Danica replied "How did you get your powers?" he asked.
Danica chuckled at the question "Fun fact I am not from this century, I am actually from the future, 27th century to be specific, I got my powers from my science teacher called John Fox (a.k.a) the Flash, See John had been the Flash for a long time but there came a point where his body was not able to keep up with his speed, Making him realise that retirement was upon him and that he needed a successor & that central city would still need a Flash" "So he chose you to be his successor" said Bruce.
Danica nodded her head "Yeah he said he chose me because of (My smarts, kindness and my general enthusiasm for life), So he showed up one of the days to my parents house, Sitting the three of us down, He informed us about him being the Flash & that he wanted me to succeed him but would train me first, My parents were against it at first but after some convincing I and my parents agreed to do it" "How did he transfer his powers to you" Bruce asked.
"He had built a speed force transfer unit when he realised he was reaching the end of his time as the flash" "What is the speed force" Bruce asked "The speed force is an energy field that grants all speedsters with their powers, It allows us to run at super speed and if concentrating properly, You can use it to time travel to the (past, present and future), Me ending up in the Knightmare of Injustice timeline was an accident, One day I was running really, Really fast and the speed force pulled me in, I tried to slow down but the speed force kept me running and then threw me out where I ended up in the knightmare timeline".
Bruce expression became one of surprise "How did you find my other self?" "Your other self found me by coincidence, When I came out of the speed force, I ended up crashing to the ground next to your horse with your other self sitting on the saddle who was looking at me enraged but confused at the same time as to what he just witnessed, He helped me up to my feet and calmed me down due to me panicking like crazy about what just happened, He took me to the batcave as I told him how I ended up in this era, I told him about my time travel powers, That is when he asked me if I would be willing to do a job for him" "Which was to have you go back even further and warn my younger self" said Batman.
"Yeah, Your other self & Cyborg helped me build this device called a cosmic treadmill while I also at times participated in helping your army fight against the Darkseid/Superman regime, Once the treadmill was built, Your other self set it for that specific date to find you and warn you about Lex Luthor" Flash replied "I thought it was Superman you were warning me about that day but it was Lex who I allowed to succeed twice now, Except this time Superman is dead and now again this warlord and his army are heading for Earth" Bruce replied.
Danica approached a white board and turned it around showing Bruce her diagram "I don't know what exactly is going to happen now, The knightmare future could potentially happen again even without Superman, The only way to prevent that from happening is that we have to win, No matter what" Flash replied "I hope we can but without Superman we still might not have a chance but I still have a few more question for you?" Batman asked "Go ahead" Flash replied "You being here in the past, Doesn't that affect the future and your personal future in the 27th century, Also my final question is aren't your parents going to be wondering where you are?".
"It could affect my time but only by a little and to answer your other questions, No they won't be because the amount of time I spend in this century would not affect the amount of time in my century, When I eventually go back to my century, It will be like I was only gone for a few seconds" said Danica "So time in your century sort of stops in a way" Bruce replied "Exactly" Danica replied "Well the reason I am here is because we are forming a team and we would" "Stop right there because I accept your offer" said Danica "Great, Welcome to the JL Danica" as he then stretched out his hand, Danica shook it.

Shazam approached the door of an apartment "Apartment 26 this is" he then knocked on it, Hearing a pair of feet approach the door as it was then opened, The man at the door was in shock at who was visiting "Hi are you Silas Stone, Father of Victor Stone?" "Yes I am and nice to meet you Shazam" as they then shook hands "What brings you here?" asked Silas "I need to talk to Victor and before you say he is dead, We both know that is bullshit, Batman has seen him walking around the apartment, He was the one who sent me here" Shazam replied.
Silas stepped aside, Allowing Shazam to come in "I'll go get him" as he then went down a small hallway & knocked on Victors door "Go away dad" "Victor you need to come into the living room, It's important" said Silas "Whatever you need to say, You can say out there" Victor replied "It's not me who wants to speak to you, It's that hero Shazam he is here and wants to talk" Silas replied.
It then went silent for a few seconds, The bedroom door was then unlocked "Living room" said Silas, Victor walked down the hall and into the living room "Holy crap, Dad wasn't making it up" he thought to himself.
Shazam went into slight fanboy mode "Victor Stone, The Victor stone, I watched your games man. Especially your teams 21 - 13 win against Curtis High School, You're one hell of a running back dude" "Whatever man, If you came here to just to get an autograph & a picture then leave already cuz that shit ain't happening" Victor replied "That does sound awesome but that's not why I am here" Billy replied "If you're not here for that, Explain to me why you are here wasting my time" said Victor "Uhhhh…. Victor turned his head to look at his Father "Let him explain, Dad this fool doesn't even remember why he is visiting us" "Now I remember" said Shazam "Oh that's just great, Be quick about it because I am starting to think you have short term memory loss like Dory from Finding Nemo" Victor replied "Football is all about team work, A team can't function without it's core members, Yeah there may be a leader but a leader is only as good as his team mates, It's the team mates that are the heart of the team, Not just one player" said Shazam.
Victor expression became one of disbelief at what shazam said he turned his head to his dad who shrugged his shoulders in silent reply "Who is on this team?" Victor asked "Me, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern" Shazam replied "That's why you're here, They sent you to recruit the biggest freakshow into an organisation of other freakshows" Victor replied "We call it the Justice League" said Shazam "So there is a name now for this stupid group" Victor replied.
Silas spoke up "Victor calm down" "Tell your friends to shove their offer up their asses, I have no interest in joining your stupid ass group" said Victor "Why not, Vic I understand you got dealt a band hand but that car accident was not your mom or even your fault" said Shazam
Cyborg struck Shazam across the jaw who was sent backwards "VICTOR!" said Silas "DON'T YOU DARE MENTION MY MOTHER, SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, NOW GET THE FUCK OUT BEFORE I REALLY GET PISSED OFF!" "Fine I'm leaving but let me just say you have gifts and are being offered a place where you can belong, We don't judge you on what you've become, If we did I wouldn't be here right now asking for you to be a member" said Billy.
Shazam pulled a piece of paper from his pocket, Placing it on the countertop "If you change your mind, Ring that number, Goodbye Mr stone" "Goodbye Shazam" said Silas.
2 weeks later, Victor phoned that number.

Beatriz watched from afar as the Red Commando gang received their cocaine & weapons delivery which consisted of (Guns, Grenades, Various types of bombs and a load of RPG-7 launchers) "I am about to ruin their fucking day while enjoying every second of it".
Fire plan was to strike once they had unloaded everything from the truck but she was also making sure no innocent bystanders were near the area, 15 minutes later she went into her flame mode and flew towards the warehouse.
Warehouse
One of the gang members approached their boss who was running the warehouse "Carlos we have finished unloading" "That's good Pedro you can tell the driver to go now" he replied "Will do" said Pedro.
Carlos lit a cigarette, Took a puff & looked up to the night sky, It was then that he noticed what looked like a green ball coming down towards the warehouse "What is that" as he watched it get closer, Soon realising it was a ball of fire "MERDA!" he shouted as the fire ball hit the warehouse, Blowing part of it up, It was then followed up by Beatriz arriving.
Her arms stretched out with Fire blasting everywhere "TAKE THAT YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" said Beatriz "It's that green bitch, Kill her" said Pedro as they fired their guns at her, Beatriz retaliated by letting out a burst of flame which burned/exploded their bullets & flew above the warehouse while aiming downwards which resulted in burning the warehouse & everything inside it which also detonated the explosives as well.
The warehouse blew up with vicious force, Killing a large number of the gang members while the ones outside were sent hurtling backwards "Surrender now" said Beatriz "After you blew up our product, Hell no" said Carlos who stood to his feet slowly and fired his shotgun at her, Fire dodged the attack and launched an attack of her own, Carlos dived out of the way "GET TO YOUR FEET, YOU FUCKING IDIOTS" he shouted to the remaining gang members.
Beatriz stared at them "Stay down if you value your lives" she replied "Get up because either way we are dead when the boss finds out" said Carlos who fired his gun at her while dodging her flame blasts at the same time.
The remaining gang members got to their feet & fired their guns at her from both sides with Beatriz now attempting to hold both sides back while also flying higher in order to avoid the bullets, Pedro eyes caught site of the water hose that they would use to clean their delivery cars, He stopped firing at the woman and ran towards the tap to turn it on.
Placing his gun on his back he grabbed said hose and aimed it at Beatriz while she was distracted, Soaking her which resulted in her flames going out & sent her falling to the ground. Fire saw that she had flown too high, Knowing the moment she made impact with the ground, She was going to be severely injured and that she would be defenceless against them "MERDA" she shouted while trying to trigger her powers at the same time to try and cushion her fall.
A hand grabbed her wrist "I've got you my friend" Beatriz looked up and saw that it was "Wonder Woman". Diana placed her on the ground "Rest Fire, I am here to help".
Wonder Woman turned around & faced the gang members "Yo she's even more hotter in person" said Carlos "Fuck off" Diana replied in Portuguese and went on the offensive as she landed punches left, right and centre while also using her bracelets to deflect the bullets.
Spinning her lasso it wrapped around the waist of a gang member, Seconds later said gang member was thrown into another one sending both of them crashing into a wall, Wonder Woman grabbed Carlos guns out of his hand, Using the butt of it the amazon whacked it across his jaw, Knocking him & his teeth out.
Pedro fired his pistol at Wonder Woman who used her bracelets to deflect them away, Waiting for him to run out of bullets, The magazine ran out where he then began looking through his pockets for another one which gave Wonder Woman the opportunity to fly in front & land a punch in his face which put him into a state of unconsciousness as he then fell forward flat on his face "Idiota" said Diana
Wonder Woman walked back to Fire who was impressed at how Diana dealt with them "Are you okay?" Diana asked "I am alright, I was doing fine until that asshole hit me with the hosepipe". The Amazon stretched out her hand, Helping Beatriz on her feet "Thank you Wonder Woman" "Your welcome Fire" she replied "So what brings you to Brazil?" Beatriz asked "To speak to you, I was flying around the area trying to see if I can find you & spotted the chaos unfolding here, With you being the one to unleash it, We are looking for more members on the JL and you're one of the names on our list".
Beatriz eyes became one of surprise "You don't have to accept straight away, If you need time to think it over we can give that to you or if you don't feel comfortable in joining that is fine as well, It is entirely your choice" said Diana "I have got so much work to do when it comes to dealing with the gangs here in Rio, Also dirty cops, Well not all of them are dirty there is a small percentage that are legit and want to help, While the rest of the cops here are allied with the drug lords" Beatriz replied "That is a lot of work to deal with and from what it sounds like, You can't do this on your own and that is why a team is needed if not that I am still willing to help you even if you say no to the offer".
Beatriz stood silent in deep thought "What if I trial it for a bit with this team and then see how I feel at the end the trial" "You can do that if you want, We did that with Shazam and now he is a permanent member" Diana replied "Thank you I will take that offer on those conditions but you also said you would be willing to help me anyway" Beatriz replied "Correct" Diana replied "I got to hit the warehouse of the PCC tonight, They're the main rivals to the Red Commandos here".
Diana grinned "Lead the way my friend, Also how many gangs are in Rio?" "The 5 gangs are (Red Commando, PCC, Amigo dos Amigos, Third Command and then last of all Third pure command) but the main two that hold the most power are Red Commando and PCC" Beatriz replied.
Wonder Woman began to float so Beatriz could take her to the warehouse of the PCC, Fire turned into her flame mode while chuckling at Diana eagerness, Leading her to the warehouse "You were there weren't you" said Beatriz "Where" Diana replied "When he died, You witnessed it didn't you?" Beatriz asked "Yes…..I did" Diana replied as she held her tears back "Was it quick or did he suffer?" Beatriz asked.

Diana sat up & saw Superman forcing the Kryptonite spear into the behemoth while also forcing the monsters spike into his own chest "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" she screamed.
The energy wave engulfed the monster & Superman while also blasting the rest of it into the sky, Superman screamed in pain while at the same time, Diana was screaming his name "KAAAALLLL!".
The monster then fell while still holding Superman in his hand, Diana sat there in shock "Kal-El" she said quietly, Her entire body shaking from what she had just seen.
Present day
"Wonder Woman, Hey you alright?" Beatriz asked, Diana shook her head, Snapping back to attention "Sorry Fire, I was just thinking about that day, To answer your question, It wasn't swift, He suffered greatly in that moment in order to protect this planet" Diana replied "Oh god, I can only imagine how much pain he was in that moment, It must have been excruciating" Beatriz replied "Yes it must have been" Diana replied quietly.

Nightwing was dressed in a white buttoned up shirt & navy trousers & had just finished setting the table for their guests who were about 10 minutes away while Barbara was getting ready in their room "Burgers & wedges ready, Chicken Enchiladas casserole done as well, Blueberry and Vanilla cheesecake in the fridge waiting to be sliced eventually".
Barbara wheeled herself out of their bedroom, She was dressed in a dark green strapless dress with a slit on the left side, Dark green high heel sandals and gold earrings. Dick turned around, Jaw dropping in awe "Like what you see Mr Grayson" "I so can't wait to rip that dress off later tonight" he replied "If you be a good boy in these next few hours, You might get sexy time later tonight" she replied "Yes Ma'am" said Dick who then kissed her passionately.
Their kiss was interrupted by a knock on their door, Dick went& opened it, Being greeted by a blonde man with a beard who was dressed in a grey blazer, black buttoned up shirt and grey chinos while the woman next to him was dressed in a body clinging, Velour black dress with a neckline that ended just under her chest "Brooooo" said Dick who stretched out his arms and hugged the man "Geezer how have you been" said Oliver who returned the hug "Nice to see you too dick" said Dinah "My bad, How are you Dinah" Dick replied as they then hugged "I am good" she replied.
Richard stepped aside and let their guests in "Barbara it is so good to see you" said Dinah "You as well" Barbara replied as they then hugged "You look amazing" they both said to each other, Barbara looked at Oliver who then hugged her "How are you Barbz?" he asked "I am good, How are you and Dinah" she asked "We're alright, How is your dad doing" Oliver asked "Yeah he is good, He is at work right now?" Barbrara replied.
Dick handed the three of them bottles of Belgian ale & then went back into the kitchen "How are things in star city, My brother" he asked "Not bad, Same old, Kicking the crap out of criminals and sorting stuff out with my company" Oliver replied "Don't forget endorsing Bernie Sanders for the upcoming Election" said Dinah
Barbara grinned when hearing that "Yeah we saw you on TV at his rally in Wisconsin" "What made you want to endorse him, You do realize he wants to tax billionaires like you and Bruce?" Dick asked "Yeah I know but money isn't everything, Don't forget me and my board of directors only take about 60K a year, Whereas my employees in my company and warehouses are all on 75K a year, Bernie knows this when I told him and has been consistent in his morals and ideals for what this country should be, He has always fought for the lower and middle classes, He has integrity and is willing to defy even his own party because they think his ideas are too radical".
Dinah carried on from where Oliver left off "They brand it as radical but it isn't Bernie wants to make sure everyone gets a fair shot, Billionaires should pay their fair share of tax, That money can be used for to improve so much like poverty, Schools, Education, Raise the minimum wage to 15 bucks an hour, Universal healthcare is a human right" "You're damn right about that" said Barbara "How are your therapy patients doing Dinah?" Dick asked, Placing the food down on the table
"It's going okay, We have had a few cases where some of our patients were doing well and now they have gone backwards into downward spirals again, It's up and down so far" Dinah replied "Shit that must be such an awful feeling at times" said Barbara "There are times when it gets tough but I have him my side to keep me going" Dinah replied, Kissing Oliver on the cheek.
Oliver lifted her hand and kissed her knuckles "Love you" "I love you too" Dinah replied "Well let's eat" said Dick as the 4 of them took their seats, Dick lifted Barbara off her wheelchair, Helping her into the chair of the dinner table.
Oliver popped open the wine bottle and began pouring into the individual glasses as they dug into their dinner, Dick and Barbara began catching up Dinah & Ollie on

They then finished their dinner and began digging into the cheesecake "Ollie & Dinah there is something we want to talk to you about?" said Barbara "What is it?" Dinah replied.
Barbara turned to Dick who then spoke "About a month ago, I overheard Bruce telling Alfred that the JL is looking for more members, Both of them didn't know I was listening, After their conversation, I used the batcave computer and got the number for the watchtower, My question is have you two ever considered joining it?".
Oliver & Dinah got annoyed at Dick "Did you invite us just so you can recruit us on behalf of the JL?" Oliver asked "No, No, No, I wouldn't let him do that" said Barbara "The JL don't know anything about this, Neither do (Batman, Selina, Blue Bird & Alfred), We are the only 4 who are here for this conversation, My personal opinion is that I think you two would be great additions for the team".
Green Arrow & Black Canary looked at each other "We won't lie when we say, We have talked about it" said Dinah "Both of us are 50/50 on whether to join or not due to our hectic schedules at times" Oliver replied "Why don't you join Dick?" Dinah asked "I hang around Batman too often as it is, Being around him 24/7 would drive me insane, I struggled for years to get out of Bruce's shadow, To build a life for myself as far away from his as possible, With him it's always about the mission to defend Gotham, Hell I guarantee you right now that even though he is on holiday with Selina in Monaco, He is still thinking about Gotham, He is a control freak as well, One time during my tenure as Robin, I used my own strategy to deal with a crime in progress, After it was done and dusted he gave me the biggest bollocking like there was no tomorrow, It came to a point where I couldn't take it anymore because nothing was ever good enough for him, So I walked away" said Dick.
Barbara grabbed his hand to calm him down "Sorry, I get angry when thinking about it" "It's fine but why do you think we would want to put up with that" asked Oliver "In the JL it is different, Everyone gets a say at the table while also not receiving condemnation when using your own strategies to deal with crime or a situation in another country, Bruce can't do shit there on his own, They work as a unit".
Dick then got up and pulled open a draw, Taking the piece of paper out and handed it to Oliver "It's your two decision, We are just giving our opinions" said Barbara.
1 and half weeks later Oliver & Dinah phoned the number and did a few missions with the Justice League which led them to becoming members.

Bruce & Selina sat in the upper balcony of the opera house as they watched Zatanna & Doctor Fate perform for the audience, Fate cast a spell making the lights out which covered the room in darkness, 6 seconds later the lights came back on but now 5 elephants were standing behind the magical duo, The audience clapped & cheered in excitement "And now for our finale, We will makes these magnificent creatures disappear before your very eyes" said Fate, The duo moved their hands as the magic glowed in their palms while at the same time they spoke outloud.
Zatanna spoke backwards in Italian "aria'llen onazla is itnafele ilg" while at the same time fate chanted the same spell correctly in French "Les elephants se levent dans les air", The 5 elephants rose up in the air as Zatanna & Doctor Fate threw their hands forward in a pushing motion.
The Elephants began floating forward leaving the stage and were now above the heads of the audience who were fearful that the animals would either fall or shit on them, Zatanna & Fate spread the animals out across the entire audience, Looking at each other they nodded their heads and turned back to the audience, Both of them waved their hands.
Three seconds later, The elephants disappeared and was replaced with blue confetti falling down over the audience, The audience stood to their feet cheering & clapping in amazement at what they had just saw, Zatanna & Doctor Fate bowed & then stood straight "Thank you so much, You have been a wonderful audience" said Zatanna "Have a safe journey home" said Doctor Fate.
The two of them left the stage and went to the back.

The magic duo entered the room "I hoped those elephants survive otherwise Peta will not be happy" a voice said behind the door, The duo got startled and turned around ready to fight "Jesus christ Bruce, Can you not do that" said Zatanna "It's a useful tool" he replied "Yeah against criminals, You doughnut" Zatanna replied, She then turned and saw the woman standing next to him "Hi Selina" "Hey Z, How are you" she replied as they then hugged.
Doctor Fate stuck out his hand "Nice to finally meet you Batman", Bruce shook his hand while still trying to figure out how he knew who he was "I am a magician, I found out who you were easily, Selina Wayne it is nice to meet you" said Doctor Fate.
Zatanna & Bruce were about to correct him about the married part but was stopped by Selina "It is nice to meet you too Doctor Fate" who now had a smile on her face at being called Selina Wayne "What brings you two to Monaco?" Zatanna asked "We were on holiday here but also to see you two perform and talk to you about" said Selina "Joining the Justice League" said Bruce.
Fate removed his helmet, Bringing forth Kent Nelson "Man it gets stuffy wearing that sometimes". Selina & Bruce looked on in shock "Hi Kent Nelson, Nice to meet you two" "I thought you were called Doctor Fate" said Selina "The helmet is Nabu (a.k.a) Doctor Fate, Kent is the wearer but when he puts on the helmet, Nabu takes control" said Zatanna.
Kent smiled at them "To answer your question, I would like to join but it would have to be after our tour of Europe" "We have Germany, Italy & Sweden to visit next, After that I will join as well but why us Bruce?" Zatanna asked "The League needs magic experts and you & Zatanna are 2nd & 3rd best sorcerers on the planet" said Bruce "John Constantine taking top spot of course" said Fate "We'll join the JL but first the 4 of us should go get some food and have a nice catch up" said Zatanna "Yeah let's do that" said Bruce.

The Kryptonian & the Martian grinned "So that is how you got all together" said Superman "Wait Hal you forced yourself into the team" said J'onn "Yeah, I recruited myself" he replied.
Clark & J'onn looked at each other & burst out laughing at hearing that which made the rest of the JL start laughing with them for a good few minutes "Oh my lord that is hilarious" said Kal who was now wiping tears of laughter from his eyes "And you Danica are from the future & came back in order to experience what it would be like being part of the JL" said J'onn "Yeah" Danica lied, Making sure not to mention the Knightmare of Injustice timeline in her story until she could confirm whether that timeline was truly dead or not.
Superman turned his head towards Aquaman & Mera "How did you two get roped into this group?". The King & Queen looked at each other "With all due respect, I would rather not, The past 2 years and this year has been pretty crazy for me & Mera" said Arthur "Arthur we can tell them" said Mera "No Mera we can't, Our past is an Atlantean & Xebellian matter" Arthur replied "Xebellian, What is that if you don't mind me asking" said J'onn "I am Xebellian, Not Atlantean, Xebel is 1 of the 7 kingdoms of the seas, My water powers are different to what Arthur can do" said Mera "Well now there is 4 kingdoms because 3 of the races no longer exist:

The JL were surprised at hearing about these other kingdoms because it was the first time they had been informed about it as well "Who are the remaining four?" asked J'onn "Atlantis, Xebel, The Kingdom of the Fishermen and The brine (Giant fighting crabs), Each Kingdom has a leader & every once a month, We convene to discuss how things are going in each others kingdoms and to discuss whether the other kingdoms need help" said Mera.
Kal then remembered something, Getting up from his chair, He opened a side pouch on his bag and pulled out a black cylinder, Walked back to the table, He opened the cylinder and poured one dark blue gel tablet shaped like a circle into his palm, Popping it into his mouth he then drank some water to help swallow it "What is that you just took?" Oliver asked "It's a tablet called Quixilofen to treat my PTSD" Kal replied "Post traumatic stress disorder" said Diana.
Kal looked at her and saw the worried expression on her face "Correct, I also have another set of tablets to help me sleep" "Where did you get those from" Kyle asked "Zaisho's therapist prescribed them to me, He introduced me to Doctor Sarkoln Naedroke she helped treat him after he got back from the 5 year Almerac vs Reach war, Zaisho told me how the war changed him, He used to have flashbacks, Panic attacks and difficulty sleeping due to nightmares, I am having those symptoms now due to various events I witnessed and experienced that happened during my one year stay in space" Clark replied.
Diana grabbed his hand "You promised you would tell me what happened, Don't hold it in my Beloved, I am here for you" Clark sat down and interlocked his hands with hers "I will keep that promise my love, Give me a few days to set everything up in the fortress, We will convene there and I promise I will not only tell you but the rest of you as well, I will tell you my story" said Kal
Superman turned his head to look at Aquaman "If I am correct, Whatever happened to (You, Mera, Arthur Jr and Atlantis) over these past 3 years is still affecting you personally as well" "Yeah not as much as it used to, Don't get me wrong it will linger for the rest of my life but I made sure to not let it define who I am, Whatever you are going through Clark you will get through it, Time is a healer and being surrounded by the right people helps as well" said Aquaman "Thanks for the advice brother" said Kal who stuck out his hand in a bro style handshake which Aquaman returned "I got you back always brother" Arthur replied
In that moment a brotherhood of loyalty & friendship had officially begun between a Kryptonian & a half Human, Half Atlantean.
I would like to credit two of my friends on twitter who helped me on this chapter, Jess who helped me with the American Football refences to use in order for Shazam to recruit Cyborg. In the UK only a small percentage of people I think watch American Football.
I don't watch it so that is why I needed help
I would also like to give credit to my friend Andrea who lives in Brazil and gave me information on how things work in Rio De Janeiro, The 5 gangs I mentioned actually do exist and that Fire & Wonder Woman only kept the top two gangs temprarily setback in the moment.
Also I watched the JL Extended Edition about 2 weeks after it had released and this is what i thought of it
.The soundtrack was awful, Junkie XL has produced better music on his one or when teaming up with Hans Zimmer The soundtrack was one of the things i was really looking forward to listening to
.Bruce "I spent most of my time trying to divide us, Now i need to bring us together", That makes no sense whatsoever, Dialogue like that would work if The JL had already been formed and they split up at some point
.Some of the slow motion is over the top & some scenes were overdramatic
.That was the easiest win ever against Darkseid the first time he invaded Earth I have fought tougher bosses on my various games than that, Not only that he got his ass kicked by Zeus, Ares and the king of Atlantis easily I thought this first invasion would be something epic, Instead it was a one sided ass kicking
.So wait Victor robbed the bank, Gave it to that woman but doesn't realize the bank could try and find out where the hack came from and the fact that special prize competition doesn't actually exist, So they could say we never gave you that money so technically you got it illegally
.Congratulations Victor you're a criminal, What would have made more sense is if he stole the 100'000 from wayne corp and Bruce was trying to track where the money went and who got it, I am not saying stealing is good but logically he could tell Bruce that I know you have been tracking me
.Me taking your money was a warning from me to you to back off and leave me alone
.Darkseid invaded Earth the first time but had no clue he was invading Earth, What did he do pick a number out of a bowl and be like "Oooohhh look number 45, Let's find out where that planet is"
.Also if he knew that the Anti life Equation was part of Earth itself when he first invaded then he could have told his armies to keep their opponents at bay while he extracts the Equation from Earth
It is Average/Okay, I gave it 4 1/2 to 5 stars out of 10
The various plot holes and characterization is what set it aback, The last hour is what saved it from it being complete crap
I can also say for definite it doesn't deserve a sequel
