Written out in colorful letters on the church board outside was
The Wedding of Lucas E. Scott
And Brooke P. Davis is taking place today.
Brooke stared at herself in the mirror. Wearing her wedding dress.
She was still in shock that this day had arrived. She stared down at her hand that had the engagement ring on it.
When the door bursted open. Brooke turned her head.
"You look pretty momma." Micah said.
"No momma you look beautiful." Sam said. The four year old twins stared lovingly at their their matching suits.
"Thank boys. I should be at the church with the two of you and daddy in just a few minutes." She informed them.
"I've got them." Sam said.
Brooke beamed a knowing smile at the young woman in front of her.
Xzavier was dead. Jack was in prison for his murder.
There was some measure of peace. Being able to let all that go and move forward. Sam was back to living in Tree Hill.
She was a writer herself now. Her and Quentin lived together. And the family had dinner together during the weekend.
"I'll let Lucas you're ready." Sam said.
Brooke nodded her head in agreement.
As the door closed behind them. Sam made it clear at the boys last birthday when they were upstairs fast asleep. She never wanted them to know who she really was.
In her heart. The boys always belonged to Brooke and Lucas.
Brooke put her hands on her flat stomach. She couldn't wait to start showing. Her and Lucas were having a baby of their own. A girl.
She got up and made her way out the door towards her new future.
