Hello there! I hope you enjoy my plot and OC. I don't own Stardew Valley.

There's some smut in this chapter! It's towards the end if that's what you're looking for.

Sebastian arrived at Sam's house for band practice to the sounds of loud giggling and general excitement.

"I want to see it!" He heard Vincent.

His phone vibrated in his pocket as he knocked on the door. Jodi opened the door, with a smile and a giggle of her own. She let Sebastian in, informing him that they were waiting for him in Sam's room. Sebastian was checking his phone as he walked in.

"Oh good Sebby you're here!" Abby said, pulling him into the room.

"Hey Seb," Mariah's smile was wide and her eyes twinkling as she looked at him.

She and Vincent were wearing the matching shirts that she had promised the young boy that she and Abby would make for them. The shirts were a similar maroon to the stripes in Vincent's normal attire, and had the band name in a stylized font across the chest, with #1 fan since the current year underneath. Sebastian couldn't help but notice how nicely the shirt hugged Mariah's form. He glanced at his phone for a distraction. The notification on his phone was a picture from Abby of the four of them, posing for a selfie.

"So what do you think?" Abby asked him, "Pretty good right?"

"Yeah," Sebastian nodded, "The best."

"Well now that we're here, we need a proper photo," Abby said, "Let me go get Jodi."

Jodi was more than happy to take several photos of them, before leaving them to band practice.

"Alright, let's get to work," Sam said.

Mariah and Vincent sat on Sam's bed, Vincent chatting happily to her, his face flush with excitement. Though she was paying attention to Vincent, she would periodically steal glances at Sebastian, and each time his stomach would flip. He felt like a teenager again, making goo goo eyes at his crush.

Sam cleared his throat, and Mariah told Vincent they needed to be quiet and pay attention, because their role as audience members was very important. The band played through their songs, making some tweaks as they went, and no matter how many times they played a song, Mariah and Vincent would always clap and cheer when they were done.

"Sam play that new one," Vincent said, "The cloud one."

"The cloud one isn't ready yet buddy," Sam said, "Besides Abby and Seb don't know that one yet."

"Oh let us hear what you've got," Abby said.

"Yeah," Mariah agreed, "If you can't play it for your number one fans, who can you play it for?"

"Alright, alright," Sam said, turning to Abby and Sebastian, "It's not quite done yet, but feel free to jump in anytime that feels right to you."

Sebastian nodded his head, closing his eyes, giving all of his attention to the sounds of the song. By the time the hook was coming around again, he had an idea. He played a few notes on his synth. Sam nodded his head at him to continue. He kept going with what felt natural next, and as he sensed Sam winding down, switched to his keyboard to play out.

"Dude that was awesome!" Sam praised, "I am loving what you're doing."

"That was really great," Mariah said with encouragement.

"Yeah! I liked it too!" Vincent added.

Abby discussed her thoughts about what the percussion could look like, as was her usual process. They played it a few more times, until they were all happy with how it was sounding. They had the music completely down, but Sam needed to finish up the lyrics. Sam wrote the lyrics for all their songs. Once in a blue moon he and Abby would help, but usually it was just Sam, and whoever was roped into Sam's creative process. It made sense, Sebastian had such a hard time expressing himself, and Sam shone, expressing himself through his music.

"Alright, I need to get home for dinner otherwise my dad will flip," Abby said.

"Yeah, I should head out too," Mariah said.

"Aww do you have to go?" Vincent pouted.

"Sorry buddy," she said ruffling his hair, "Gotta get back to the farm."

"I'll walk you," Sebastian said.

"Sounds perfect," Mariah said, taking the short steps to come to his side, her fingers intertwining with his.

"Uh, oh, hide your eyes Vince, you don't need to see this PDA!" Abby said.

Sebastian rolled his eyes.

"What's PDA?" Vincent asked.

"It's when people are affectionate in front of other people, you know, like kissing," Sam explained.

"What you're going to kiss Sebastian?" Vincent asked Mariah sadly, "Is he your boyfriend?"

"Yes," Mariah said, "He's my boyfriend," Sebastian's heart fluttered. Was this the first time she'd said it aloud? "But don't worry, we're not going to kiss in front of you. Abby was just teasing us about holding hands."

"What about me?" Vincent pouted.

"I can still hang out with you," Mariah said, "Right Seb?"

"Of course," Sebastian nodded.

"And we can still be twins," Mariah added, "And that's super special because nobody else gets to be, just you and me."

"Okay," Vincent said, "Will you still give me snails and grapes sometimes?"

"Absolutely," Mariah said.

"Okay. I guess Sebastian can be your boyfriend then. Kissing is gross," Vincent said, "And doing that farm work was really hard too."

"I'm glad you approve," Mariah said, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it before."

"Sebastian if she makes you do too much work on the farm, maybe Sam can help you like he did with me. He was a good helper," Vincent offered.

"Thanks buddy, that's a great idea," Sebastian said, "Sam you work on Mondays and Wednesday right? So you're free every other day to help."

Sam opened his mouth to answer, but Vincent chimed in first, "That's right! Sometimes in the summer he takes me to the beach, so he's busy then too. But it's not summer so he can help all you need!"

"Well that's great!" Sebastian said, smirking at Sam, "So Mariah you can give me as much work on the farm as you need to, if Sam will help me get it done."

"Thanks Sam," Mariah said, "That's so sweet of you! I'm glad Sebastian will be able to help me fix stuff up inside the house and you can harvest the plants for us. We'll get so much stuff done! And I bet being outside like that will inspire you to write more music. Elliot and Leah both say that being in nature helps to nurture their creativity."

"See Sam?" Vincent said, "You'll get to be with your friends and help out while getting ideas for songs!"

Sam sighed, "I don't think it's going to work that way buddy. Maybe you and me can visit the farm together sometime and play with Charlie."

"That sounds even better!" Vincent said, with big eyes.

"Perfect," said Mariah, "But I do need to get back to Charlie now. I'm sure he's been lonely."

"Oh yeah!" said Vincent, "You better get her home quick Sebastian!"

"I will Vince," Sebastian smiled.

Sebastian, Mariah, and Abby walked to the door, waving goodbye on the way out.

"I hope you're happy that you're breaking that poor kid's heart Sebastian," Abby teased.

"I think he'll bounce back," Sebastian said, squeezing Mariah's hand.

"Have a good night Abby," Mariah said, squeezing back.

"Yeah, yeah, good night you love birds," Abby said, before heading off in the other direction.

Sebastian and Mariah walked slowly towards the forest.

"Feeling better from last night then?" Mariah asked, as Marnie's ranch came into view.

"Mostly yeah," Sebastian said, "I actually slept a lot better than I was expecting to, so that helped."

"I'm glad," Mariah said, "I found the perfect place to hang the jelly by the way. I put in on the wall across from my wardrobe so it's like the first thing I'll see in the morning when I wake up."

"Funny I can see my bouquet first thing in the morning too," Sebastian said.

"I definitely have the better view," Mariah insisted.

"Have I just like set myself up for failure for any future gifts now?" Sebastian asked, "Set the bar too high."

Mariah laughed, "You know I don't care about shit like that right? Plus most of the gifts I've given you have literally been pretty rocks."

"I like my pretty rocks, thank you very much. They mean something. And they're from you," Sebastian said.

"Exactly," Mariah said, "So you are most definitely not setting yourself up for failure. The best gifts are the ones that mean something and come from someone that cares about you. It doesn't really matter what they are. Plus I'm not some materialistic person. I don't want to get gifts all the time. Which is good given how small my house is."

"It's not so bad," Sebastian said, "Plus it's just your own space."

"That's all true. I do actually like my house, it has definitely become comforting and feels like my mine. When I first moved in it was awful. Took a while for it to feel like that. I felt like I had nowhere to land when I needed to relax. Plus I was sleeping like crap. Too quiet."

"That is one accurate description of the valley," Sebastian agreed.

"I like the quiet now," Mariah continued, "Feels like home now. Even if I talk too much," she laughed.

"I like when you talk," Sebastian said, "But I like the quiet too."

"Bash?"

"Yeah?"

"I have an important question to ask you. Probably should have asked you before we started dating…"

"….yeah?" Sebastian said, feeling uncertain.

"Who's your least favorite Cava Saga character?"

"X," Sebastian answered without hesitation, laughing at her request.

"Oh thank Yoba," Mariah laughed, "I might have to break up with you if she was your favorite."

"Totally legitimate reason," Sebastian agreed, "I know she's like the main character, but she's so awful."

"Yes! Totally overrated," Mariah agreed, "She wasn't so bad at first, but she's so insufferable now. But I suppose that's just how the series has evolved. Character developments and all that."

"Don't you care who my favorite is?" he asked.

"Nope. As long as it's not X," Mariah said, "Plus I have a hard time picking a favorite, so I don't want to ask you and then have to answer the question myself."

They arrived at the farm house. Sebastian was unsure of what to do. Should he just go home? Would she invite him to stay? Did he even want to stay?

"Thanks for walking with me," she said, looking up at him.

"Yeah," Sebastian said, looking into her eyes. He took the chance to lean in and kiss her. She let out a soft moan and leaned into the kiss. He cupped her face with his hands, drawing her in close. Her hands grabbed some of the fabric of his hoodie at his waist. The kissing continued for a few minutes, until Charlie barked, standing beside them wagging his tail. Both Sebastian and Mariah jumped, Mariah's head bumping into Sebastian's nose. He winced, instinctively putting a hand up to his nose.

"Aw shit, I'm sorry Bash, are you okay?"

"Yeah," he said, rubbing his nose, "Just the shock I think."

"Charlie," Mariah said, crouching down to give him some attention, "I'm sorry buddy. I know I didn't say hello to you when I got back. You don't need to be so needy."

Charlie gave her a big lick on her cheek, before moving his attention to Sebastian, expectantly looking up at him. Sebastian abandoned his nose, and reached down to scratch between his ears.

"You don't have to indulge him you know," Mariah said, "Spoiled thing."

"Nah, I don't mind," Sebastian said

They both stood back up, looking at each other.

Sebastian cleared his throat, "I really like the shirts by the way. You guys did a great job."

"Thanks," Mariah said, looking down at herself, smoothing away a non-existent wrinkle in the fabric, "I need to get Charlie some dinner. And probably me too."

"Yeah, I should head home," Sebastian said.

Mariah nodded her head, "Okay." She got close to him once more, and got up on her tip-toes to kiss him again, "Goodnight Bash."

"Goodnight Riah," he said, his hand running down the length of her arm.

"I'll see you tomorrow night."

"Tomorrow night?" he said puzzled.

"Oh yeah, Robin invited me for dinner, remember?"

"Oh Yoba, I forgot about that. You really don't have to you know. It's not going to be fun."

"I'm sure it will be fine. But if it's terrible we can always just eat quick and then run away to go get high," Mariah suggested.

"Or maybe we can just do that anyway," Sebastian shrugged.

"Sounds perfect," she smiled at him, and he kissed her again, "You surprise me you know."

"Hmm?"

"I just sort of assumed I was always going to be the one initiating any kind of physical connection. And then you kiss me like that and it takes me by surprise. But in a good way."

Sebastian shook his head, "Sure I'm definitely more reserved, and I am so not into PDA. If no one in the history of ever saw us do more than hold hands, or on a special occasion hug, that would be plenty fine with me. None of that means that I'm not into it. I'm actually quiet into it, just in private. We have a plan if I need a break from your affection right?"

"Right," she agreed, "And you can just keep surprising me when you want to."

He kissed her again, "Like now"

"Exactly," she said, this time kissing him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

For a moment, while their mouths moved against each other, Sebastian imagined what it would be like to be doing more, but that he knew he really wasn't ready for. He pulled away, looking at her again, and kissed her forehead.

"I really should go now," he whispered.

Mariah nodded her head, arms releasing from around him, her finger tips gently grazing against him as they slipped by. If it weren't for his hoodie Sebastian was positive the touch would have given him shivers.

"Goodnight," She whispered to him, and he was sure she hadn't meant it to be, but fuck if it wasn't the sexiest way anyone had ever spoken to him. He had already been plenty primed by the kissing and wandering mind, but his cock twitched in his pants.

He swallowed and nodded his head, breaking away from her. She smiled at him, and then called Charlie to follow her into the house as he crossed to head up the mountain. He kept glancing back at her, and just about lost it when she bent over to pick something up and he could see a lacy thong peeking out of her jeans as her shirt rode up, and the curve of her ass against the demin.

He was entirely unsuccessful at ridding himself of his arousal by the time he got home. Thankfully his hoodie was long enough to cover the bulge in his pants.

"Sebastian?" Robin called.

"Yeah mom," he called back.

"Dinner?"

"Not hungry thanks!" He called back, heading down to his room, locking his door behind him.

He stripped off his hoodie, knowing from experience that it would only get in the way of what he was about to do. He took off his pants as well, and sat on his bed. He took his swollen cock out of his boxers, the head glistening with pre-cum. He pulled the lube out of his bedside table, squeezing a small amount onto his fingers. With his other hand, he pulled his foreskin back, allowing him access, grunting as he rubbed the lube on the sensitive tip. He closed his eyes as he squeezed his dick. He pictured Mariah slowly stripping in front of him as he began to stroke. She pulled her shirt off, squeezing her breasts together with her arms the so that her nipples were almost visible behind the lace of her bra. She had to shimmy to get her jeans off, the thong leaving little to the imagination. The soft pink of the lace drawing attention against her amber skin. He could see the fabric dipping inwards against her backside. Sebastian reached forward, grasping the supple exposed fresh, squeezing it, and pulling her close to him. She let out a soft moan, as he grabbed the other side with his other hand roughly, his desire pressing against her, his mouth making its way against her neck. He nipped, licked, and kissed his way to her collarbone, grinding against her. She gasped his name in the same tone she had used when saying goodnight to him as he slapped her ass.

Sebastian bit his lip to keep himself from moaning as he stroked his hard cock. In his mind, Mariah was biting her lip, as she freed her breasts from her bra. Sebastian running his fingers across her already hard nipples, massaging her breasts before taking her nipples into his mouth, one after another, his tongue swirling against them, teeth ever so slightly scraping against them, eliciting moans from Mariah, as she runs her hands through his hair. He pulled away, his hands following the curve of her flesh, fingers tucking underneath the lace of her remaining clothing, tugging it down with slow, smooth movements, as to ask permission before removing the thong entirely. Mariah nodded her head, and he pulled harder, eager to have her completely exposed in front of him. She was more than willing to comply, kicking them away as they dropped to the floor. Sebastian took his time, touching her skin all over, his hand sliding between her thighs, nudging them apart. His fingers grazed her sex, slipping between her silky folds pleased to find her wetness. He traced back and forth, stopping to allow his thumb to rub against her clit. The sound she made in response to his touch only strengthened his desire. He continued to rub the small circles as she whimpered, pressing down against his touch. He removed his hand, much to Mariah's frustrations, only to press a finger into her depths. Mariah groaned, moving against his finger. When he pulled it out, he added a second, before pushing back in, stretching her tightness. She leaned into him, kissing him roughly, as he thrust his fingers in and out. She was moaning into him, her body pressed against him. She pulled away, panting.

"P-please," she stuttered, "I need you."

Sebastian pulled his hand away, but not before rubbing her swollen clit again, causing her to cry out. He allowed her to push him back onto the bed.

Sebastian could feel his orgasm building, slowing his movements against his cock, trying to last through his fantasy.

Sebastian was on his back, Mariah straddling him, lowering her heat onto his cock. He groaned at the sensation of entering her. Her movement was slow until he was completely buried inside of her. She began riding him, her hands gripping his sides for balance. Sebastian couldn't imagine a sexier site than where their bodies were meeting, over and over again. He reached forward, rubbing her clit, feeling her tense against his length, hissing out a 'Yesss' His free hand made its way up to her breasts, groping, pinching, and kneading.

"Sebastian," she moaned, "I'm so close."

"Me too," he gasped, which was also abundantly true for him outside of the fantasy as well.

He moved his hands, grasping at her hips, thrusting up into her. Mariah leaned forward, placing one hand on his chest, and one on the bed, panting hard. His movements were rough and erratic, until he felt Mariah tense, loudly moaning his name, as her orgasm shook her, sending him into his own ecstasy.

Sebastian groaned her name as his body twitched, coming in spurts, panting hard. He took a moment to catch his breath before cleaning himself up. He felt significantly less guilty, thinking of her this way than he had in the past. Perhaps because the potential for such a scenario was possible in the future, if he ever got to a point that he was comfortable being vulnerable enough about his past. For the briefest of moments he also allowed himself to entertain the idea that Mariah may think of him this way as well, wondering what her fantasies were like. He shook his head, as if to shake those thoughts right out. Don't go down that road now. Enjoy your moment while you can. He put his clothes back on, grabbing his cigarettes to go for a smoke.

As he stood out by the lake, enjoying his nicotine fix, he thought back to Mariah's 'important' question, bringing a smile to his lips. Beyond being happy that his brief moment of panic was for naught, he liked the reminders of the fact that she too was a nerd. It was easy for him to forget this because she was just so much cooler than he'd ever be. He thought back to their first text conversation, late at night, debating Atreyu and Bastian's skills. She also had thrown a comment in there about how lucky he was to share such a similar name to such a great character. These bits of her that he didn't think most people in the town even knew about, gave him a semblance of hope for their relationship when they came up. These parts of her that he was attracted to, outside of her physical beauty. In actuality, there were lots of things about Mariah that drew him in. But there were apparently lots of things about him that drew her in as well. Maybe someday he'd be as comfortable as she was in that moment, and he'd share with her the things about her that he was into. She was easier for him to talk to than most people, but he did still have a hard time finding words. Probably because he didn't have a ton of experience doing it. But he did make her that jelly, which she hung up in her bedroom so she could start her day by looking at it, and that counted for something. Maybe words weren't the most important thing.
