Chapter 26
Rene's POV:
Time has gone by so fast. Today is going to be a busy day, it is Friday and I don't like working over the weekends, weekends is my time with Riley. Friday's, I push for results and completed tasks. Storm is so sufficient with my reports, when I get off the elevator on my floor, she is waiting with my coffee and a folder in her other hand. She will make a great PA. this is their final month as my interns and I am definitely keeping her with me. Guy has been a disappointment, he didn't make the cut. He was always late or drunk. He was very immature and just not ready to meet my speed and give me what I needed so, we had to let him go. I am the head Creative Director of the graphic designer's team and I have almost one-hundred employees under me, reporting to me, looking up to me so I can't deal with lazy employees. Theo Adin, gorgeous Theo has been a great surprise. At Secret Games and Co., we create, design and develop video games, I love my job. We had our weekly meeting and one of the Art Directors and his team couldn't get the color I wanted on the main character, which was a dragon. Theo then asked permission to try and I was so impressed, don't dare judge me, I wasn't biased, he mastered the blue I pictured in my head, the man has skills, okay.
It has been weeks since Shawn has even held a fifteen-minute conversation with me. We say hi, talk for a few and then he has to go or he hangs up. I have given up on trying to speak to him and try to save our relationship. I am taking everything he does and says, with a pinch of salt, I am sick and tired of crying every night. This last few weeks, we have thrown ourselves into work and today is submission day, everything has to go well. We work all day and every Friday, lunch is on me. My team only comprises of five people. Myself, Storm who is my PA, Theo who will be my illustrator and Melissa who is the motion graphic artist but she doesn't sit with us and lastly is Mike, he is the 2D/3D animator.
We have lunch and get back to work, by 3pm I send Storm home, there is really nothing left for her to do. The sun sets and as per my usual routine, I call the nanny and tell her I will be late and I speak to Riley for a few minutes. We submitted our project on time so, I am happy. I want Storm to come back because I need coffee really badly, I chuckle to myself because she has really spoilt me. I see that it is dark outside, I always hated driving alone at night but I've gotten used to it and it's not really so bad, the security walks me to the car so even the parking lot isn't that bad. I start to put my papers aside and a loud noise scares the shit out of me, suddenly Theo appears and starts apologizing, fuck! I nearly threw my stapler at him.
Rene: "What are you still doing here?" I try to steady my heart.
Theo: "I am so sorry Rene, I accidently dropped some files, are you ok?" This woman will be the death of me, she is so gorgeous and she doesn't even know it.
Rene: "No dammit. I nearly had a heart attack, I thought everyone left."
Theo: "No, Mike and I were editing some touch ups to the new project, he just left. I was putting away the files and getting ready to leave myself."
Rene: "oh, ok good, don't u have a girlfriend or a family or a mum, something? You are always here late and I don't want problems." He starts walking towards me and my heart rate picks up.
Theo: "I am happily single and I don't live with my mum." I love flirting with Rene, she acts like she doesn't know what's happening between us but I know she does.
Rene: "ok, I am also getting ready to leave." His smiling and stops right in front of me, Theo is so tall that I have to look up to him and when his this close, oh my, I can smell his perfume. For a second, I closed my eyes, shit, I hope he didn't see that.
Theo: "I'm starving, would you like to grab something to eat before we head home?" and by something to eat, I mean you baby, I think to myself.
Rene: "Yes", shit that was too quick, I should've at least pretended to think about it.
Theo: "Cool, I'll grab my bag and you can think about where you would like to eat."
Rene: Did this fool just wink at me? I can't really think that nothing will happen between us, I am not that naïve. I want to literally eat this man and if we do a supper, or dinner or take-out, whatever, I can't guarantee that he won't become my meal.
Theo: "You ready?" She is so jumpy and flushed tonight, I can't hide my smile. I am stoked.
Rene: "no, can you come in here for a minute please?"
Theo's POV:
It has been two months and some odd days since I started working here at Secret Games and Co., I am a twenty-six-year-old Intern Illustrator and my boss is a bomb shell, I mean right out sexy and curvy as fuck. On my first day she wore the burgundy knee length, short sleeve dress that shaped her ass and fit her like a glove, damn! She had these matching heels on and all day, all I could think of was taking her on her desk with nothing but those damn shoes on. When I introduced myself, she gave me this look and I could see that she was fierce and feisty and that's just how I like my woman. She is young and well accomplished so I know she won't be easy but I will dig deep to have this woman. She composed herself and asked or rather instructed that I start with the bookshelf but I could feel her eyes on me all day.
On various occasions I have overheard her talking to her loser fiancé, she is worth so much more and if Rene were mine, she would never even have to worry about communicating with me, I'd call her everyday damn day to make sure vultures like myself didn't attack while I was away. That first day, I offered to stay late and help her move boxes, I know I looked over eager and the other interns didn't let me forget it but, it was well spent over time, just watching her.
Today, two months later, it is a Friday and on Fridays Rene pushes us to complete everything we had dangling because she believes Mondays we start fresh. She is a wonderful boss, very hard working and very intimidating but one day about two weeks ago I could see her watching me in one of our board meetings and I wanted to impress her so I took initiative and asked if I could try and get the specific blue she wanted the Dragon to be. The Art Directors and his team really tried but she just wasn't happy with their shade, so I tried and she actually approved my attempt and we kept the color. I was so proud of myself too. I love the looks we exchange in meetings and when we pass each other in the corridor.
We submitted the final game today and everyone has gone home, I stay late yet again but the tension between Rene and I is so high that I can't stand not touching her for one more minute. I need an excuse to go to her office but I can't think of one. Only Mike, who has become a good buddy of mine, knows how I feel about Rene. She has been so sad lately and always working, I really just want to make this woman happy. We are sitting in his office and he says he needs to leave now, so I ask him for an idea and he just shrugs his shoulders and laughs at me. I am walking with him with all the files in my hand and we get to the elevator, he scares the hell out of me by hitting the files I have been carrying, out of my hand, laughs and says "thank me later." It doesn't take me long to realize he actually helped me, I know she must have heard the files falling so I pick them up and go to check on her. I see the stapler in her hand and I want to laugh;
Rene: "What are you still doing here?"
Theo: "I am so sorry Rene, I accidently dropped some files, are you ok?" This woman will be the death of me, she is so gorgeous and she doesn't even know it. I am standing in her doorway with my hands in my pocket.
Rene: "No dammit. I nearly had a heart attack, I thought everyone left."

Rene: "oh ok good, don't u have a girlfriend or a family or a mum, something? You are always here late and I don't want problems."
Theo: oh, so she wants to know if I'm available, I start walking towards her, lets see how far I can push her. Women think we don't know this old trick, asking me if there isn't someone at home worried about me when she just wants to know if there isn't anyone, period. "I am happily single and I don't live with my mum." I stop right in front of her and she looks up at me.
Rene: "ok, I am also getting ready to leave."
Theo: When she closes her eyes, that's my confirmation, I do affect her. "I'm starving, would you like to grab something to eat before we head home?"
Rene: "Yes"
Theo: I am really trying not to laugh at her but she did answer really quickly, I don't want to get too cocky, maybe she is really just hungry. "Cool, I'll grab my bag and you can think about where you would like to eat so long" I wink at her and walk out of her office, I adjust my pants because I won't lie, being that close to her affected me too. I grab my things and go back to her office. "You ready?" She is so jumpy and flushed tonight, I can't hide my smile. I am excited, finally I can take her somewhere private, just us.
Rene: "no, can you come in here for a minute please?"
Theo: oh fuck, can a woman not just enjoy some company? I sit down and I know she is going to give me the 'I am your boss speech'. I use the opportunity to close her office door, not that it's necessary, no one is here but us.
Rene: "Look Theo, I am your boss…
Theo: I stand up, walk around to where she is standing and she suddenly goes quiet. She steps back but the desk is blocking her and unless she stops me I am going to see where this will go.
"You may be my boss during the day but it is well after our working hours."
I stand right up against her and wait for her to stop me, say something or give me a signal that she's uncomfortable. I put my one hand on her hip and lean in to kiss her and she closes her eyes.
Rene's POV:
Theo walks towards me and puts his hand on me and my mouth drops open, Lord knows I have to stop him but I can't, I don't want to. I want him to kiss me.
Theo: "Turn around"
Rene: I am like a little obedient school girl and I like it. He unzips my dress and tells me to face him again, I glance up at him and come face to face with his wicked grin. I can't take my eyes off him, then the little devil inside me takes over and I part my lips to accommodate my breathing, I bite my bottom lip and I reach forward and place one of my hands around him and pull him closer to me, this time his breath hitches in his throat and he slides my dress off my shoulders. I am standing there in my bra and panties and my heels. He smiles.
Theo: "I have been picturing you like this since the first day I laid my eyes on you and I am so glad, you are wearing the same shoes."
Rene: He remembers the shoes I wore the day we met? That's so sweet, I think to myself, he lifts me up and places me on the table behind me, he leans in and starts to really kiss me and I unbutton his shirt. I remove his shirt and his standing in front of me bare chested and his pants just hangs on his hips, this is so sexy, I want to scream. I get my first full glimpse of the divine formed beast and I am lost again in his kiss. His tongue is exploring my mouth and he reaches on either side of my face, he pulls away and his staring into my eyes, he looks lost. "Be mine" he whispers, I frown, not understanding "please, Rene, be mine" he says again and before I can come to my full senses, he kisses me again, so passionately. He unclips my bra and now the temperature in the office must be a hundred degrees, I'm breathless. He leans down, and sucks on my nipples and I am just sitting on the desk watching this seductive scene he kisses my stomach and dips his tongue in my navel and oh, oh, my, is he going to, yes! I clutch my eyes closed so tight, his kissing my inner thigh and his sucking and licking and kissing me and my body is paying attention, I am wet. I groan, I put my hands in his hair and his kissing me through my panties but it is so exquisite. He comes up for air and he is a mess, he cups my chin and he runs his free hand over my breast and he kisses me again. I grab him by his belt and I start to undo his trouser and he leans forward, we are almost on top of my desk. I lie down flat and the table is so cold but I don't care. He kisses and tenderly sucks on each nipple and my hips start to move, Holy shit, I want him. This is so erotic and I am about to combust. He is in his drawers and I am just in my panties and we are lying on my desk, suddenly we hear a noise and a voice and it takes a minute to process.
Security: "Miss Rene, I am just checking in, are you okay?
