Chapter 26 : Battle of Fairy Tail Part 2
-Fairy Tail Guild Hall-
The Thunder God Tribe along with Laxus stand on the stage "The battle field is the entire town of Magnolia, the battle starts when you find us" Laxus explained.
"Laxus... STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS!" Makarov turn his body into giant.
"I say clam down... It's entertainment for the festival, see?" Laxus said as suddenly a bright light engulfed the entire guild, making the others shielding their eyes.
"Battle of Fairy Tail... Begin!" Laxus declared, after the light is vanished, Laxus and his bodyguards disappeared from the stage, leaving the others can only gritted their teeth. Makarov return to his original size with still feeling angry by his grandson.
"So we have to play tag in Magnolia?" A random guild members said.
"Damn it! We have to save my sister and the others!" Elfman said angrily.
"Get Laxus!" The other members starting search out for them as they running into the the town.
Meanwhile, Pyrus is in a deep thoughts of why Laxus suddenly pullout this kind of game.
"Master?" Rayna called Makarov, whose body is shaking.
"Old Man... You know why he did this? This isn't because of trying to find the strongest in Fairy Tail, am I right?" Pyrus questioned him.
"That fool... I'll... I'll stop him!" Makarov turn around and ran to outside of the guild. However, Makarov is stopped by an invisible wall at the entrance.
"Gramps!" Gray who's about to leave is surprised as he return to the entrance.
"What happened?" Rayna confused as she and Pyrus along with the twins go near him.
"An invisible wall?" Makarov questioned as he trying to push himself through the invisible wall.
"Don't be silly! There's nothing there!" Gray told him as he trying to pull Makarov out, but it was futile. "What's going on?... Pyrus, help me!" Gray asked him. Pyrus push Makarov from his back, but he still can't breakthrough.
"Guys, up there!" Rayna pointed at above the entrance that there's floating runes.
"What's this?" Gray questioned.
"These are runes isn't it?" Tommy realized.
"But, what for?" Alice questioned.
"Freed's Runes?" Makarov looking at the floating characters.
"Runes?" Gray rise an eyebrows.
"A type of barrier. Anyone who steps in its boundary is bound by the rules. If they don't obey them, you can't get out. Establishment Magic!" Makarov explained to him.
"What's written on there?" Gray questioned.
"Those older than 80 or stone statues may not pass" Makarov read them.
"80 years old?... So that's mean you can't get out?" Pyrus questioned.
"I'm afraid so..." Makarov nodded.
"A magic where the guy who set the rules wins?" Gray pointed out.
"It takes a long time to write the runes. It is not suited for a sudden battle, but when it comes to setting traps, there's nothing better" Makarov explained to them.
"So, does it mean... That they has been planning for this for a long time?" Rayna questioned.
"Probably..." Makarov sighed.
"Can't you break it down, Gramps?" Gray asked him.
"The rune's rules is absolute!" Makarov stated.
"Man, they planned for everything" Gray said "So I guess we'll have to handle it ourselves"
"Gray..."
"I don't care if he's your grandson or whatever, I ain't holding back... I'll get Laxus" Gray said as then runs to the town.
"And... He's gone" Tommy said watching him leave.
"Gray is right... What Laxus did is unforgivable" Pyrus spoke with serious expression. "We've to stop him with everything we got... Don't blame me if anything happens to your grandson, Old man" Pyrus clenching his fist.
"Pyrus..." Makarov thought "That's right... If he is the one who face Laxus, we can win this" He looked at the boy "Very well... Make sure you beat the sense out of him. I'm counting on you!" Makarov told him.
"Consider it done! Don't worry because I am the last ho-" Pyrus said confidently as he walk out from the guild, only to hit the runes.
"Eh?..."
"..."
"..."
He push himself through the rune wall but it still in vain.
"Eeeeeeh!" All of them shouted in surprised.
"What's going on here!?" Tommy questioned out loud. Alice fly in and out the runes easily like nothing stopping her.
"Don't tell me you're over 80!?" Makarov questioned him in disbelieve.
"Big bro, are you over 80 years old?!" Rayna asked him.
"Do I look like 80 years old to you!?... I'm pretty sure I'm still 17 inside!" Pyrus shouted angrily at them.
"But how's you unable to pass through the runes?" Alice asked him.
"How should I know!" Pyrus shouted. He then tried to throw punches and headbutts at the runes, but still nothing happened. Pyrus fall to his knee in depression. "What's going on... did the runes also register Dragon Slaying Magic as a thing over 80?" He guessed.
Rayna walk towards the runes and revealed that she can bypass them "Hey, I can get out from this runes" Rayna said happily while relieved.
"Seems it's not because of Dragon Slaying Magic" Alice said.
"Now that shoot my theory out of the window" Pyrus feeling more depressed. With Rayna and the others sweatdrop.
[Kid... Can you hear me?]
"Dracyan?... What do you want?" Pyrus asked the dragon.
[I just want to cheering you up. Firstly, I'm sorry...]
"Why're you suddenly apologizing for?" He confused.
[Well, I think it's because of me that you can't get out from those runes] Dracyan told him.
"Huh?... Oh yeah, I forgot that you and I are one" Pyrus realized that the runes is not stopping him from getting out, but it was stopped Dracyan. Since they're in one body, its soul cannot leaving his body, making him also trapped in the runes.
[Now you know, don't feel bad about it] Dracyan told him.
While Pyrus is in mental conversation with Dracyan, Makarov is in deep thoughts "Other than Pyrus, Is there anyone who could beat Laxus? Rayna might able to hold him off in a fight, but I doubt she can win fighting him alone... What about Erza? She might able to... But her condition is still..." Makarov then feeling someone watching him "Who's there!" He turn towards one of the pillars. Revealing Reedus hiding behind the pillar.
"Oh, Reedus! What are you doing there!?" Tommy aksed him.
"I-I'm scared of Laxus..." He said while shaking.
"It's okay... Instead, I'd like you to pay a visit to Porlyusica in the East Forest" Makarov asked him.
"Oui?" Reedus confused a little.
"She might have some potion that'll cure petrification" Makarov said.
"Oui!" He nodded.
"Potion for petrification?..." Rayna repeated.
"Hey, Can you make something like that, Rayna?" Alice asked her.
"Well... I could..." Rayna answered.
"What? You really can make it, Rayna?" Makarov asked her.
"Yes, but... I don't have the right equipment or ingredients to make them right now. Plus it takes 2 to 3 hours to make them. I'm sorry..." Rayna apologize sadly while give a little bow.
"Sigh... Well, we can't blame you for that" Makarov told her "Hm... Now I'm remember that you can also use Rune Magic. Can't you do something about these runes" He asked again.
"Huh?... Sorry, I'm just beginner at best. Rewriting runes is a lot more difficult than make them from scratch" She bowed again.
"Aw man, what should we do?..." Tommy asked himself.
Suddenly Natsu opening his eyes while yelling as he woken up. "You're awake!" Happy exclaimed.
"Huh? Where's Laxus? And wait, everyone's gone?" Natsu looking around the guild.
Makarov and the others looking at him "They're currently looking for Laxus around Magnolia, Natsu" Pyrus told him.
"Really? Then why're you guys still here?" He questioned.
"Well, there's a reason for that..." Rayna trying to explain it to him.
"If Natsu really got serious, then perhaps he could beat Laxus... Should I count on his latent ability?" Makarov thought while considering Natsu abillty to get strong using his emotions. "Natsu! The festival has started! Laxus is somewhere within Magnolia! Get out there and beat him!" He pointing at outside.
"All right!" Natsu shouted excitedly, he then ran to the entrance "Just you wait, Laxus!-..." However the rune barrier preventing him to leave the guild. This greatly shocked the others.
"Why?..." Natsu couldn't believe of what happened to him.
"Okay... What's the deal, Dracyan?... How's Natsu cannot pass the runes?" Pyrus asked the dragon.
[You think that I know everything?... Even if I know, I wouldn't tell you]
"What's going on here?... Natsu! Are you 80 years old? Are you a stone statues?" Makarov questioned.
"As if!" Natsu shouted.
Then a status report appear on the runes like a screen as it is said that Jet, Droy, and Alzack fighting each other.
"What's this?" Makarov confused.
"Why are they fighting each other?" Natsu questioned.
"Could it be... This is what Laxus meant by Battle of Fairy Tail?" Rayna said.
"The others members fighting while trapped in a runes barrier?" Pyrus assuming. A new status about the fight between those three was won by Alzack. Pyrus and the others cannot believe of what going on.
-Kardia Cathedral-
At the church, where Laxus set up as his hiding place. "I wonder how long you can stand to see the Fairies destroying each other, old man..." Laxus wondered.
-Time Skip : Fairy Tail-
The townspeople start to notice that the Fairy Tail members are fighting against each other. As they speak, Vijeeter Ecor that mage who specialized in Dancing Magic breaks out of a wall, and is apparently fighting with Nab Lasaro. Vijeeter doesn't want to fight, but is faced with the fact that they are forced to. Elsewhere, battles begin between Max and Warren. In another part of the town, Macao fight against Wakaba. While Laki facing with four other girls guild members.
At the screen of runes that blocks our Protagonists "Max vs Warren... Winner is Warren. Vijeeter vs Nab. Winner is Nab. Laki took out four members while Macao and Wakaba's battle is in progress" Happy read out.
"This is bad, at this rate... They're going to get wiped out before facing the Thunder God Tribe" Alice stated.
"Enough! Stop this, you foolish children!" Makarov said in anger.
"Rune traps have been set up throughout the city" Happy said.
"And those who trapped inside are forced to fight. The Mage who wins the fight can exit the rune and continue their progress" Tommy said.
"That's the Battle of Fairy Tail that Laxus talked about" Happy finished the sentences.
"But why? I don't get it!" Natsu staring to get frustrated while clenching his fist.
"Natsu..." Pyrus and the others understand how he feels, watching their friends wiping out each other because of some stupid game is painful to watch.
"I wanna join, too!" Natsu angrily trying to pass the rune.
"That's what he's upset about?!" They shouted in suprised.
"What's with this invisible wall?" Natsu questioned.
"And what do you plan to do by joining in?" Makarov smack him on the head with his magic.
"It's a tournament to see who's the strongest!" Natsu shouted at the old man.
"How is this a tournament?" Makarov questioned him.
"Yeah... It's more a like a senseless Battle Royale if you ask me" Pyrus nodded agreeing with Makarov.
"This is all just Laxus's plan to get us to wipe each other out!" Makarov crossed his arms. "Unless we can defeat the Thunder God Tribe within the time limit, Erza and the other girls will turn to dust. Everyone is doing whatever they can to prevent that. It'll need something more than our usual way of thinking to take control the situation! At this rate everyone who was turned to stone will crumble into dust. There's won't be any way to restore them" Makarov said to them.
"Laxus acts bad but he ain't gonna go that far" Natsu assured, making the others looking at him. "Yeah, he gets on my nerves, but he's fellow guild member. It's a bluff, obviously" Natsu said confidently.
"Natsu... Even after of what he did, you believe in him?" Pyrus quite surprised by his positive thinking.
Natsu then tries to bypass the runes once more "This is just a fighting festival! But then why can't we get out!?... People over 80 years old can't pass through... Does that mean I'm over 80!?" He asked himself.
"I don't think that was the cause... There's gotta be reason for the two of us can't get pass the runes" Pyrus said in thinking position with his hand below his chin. "Alright Dracyan... Are you ready to tell me of what's going on with Natsu?"
[Like I said, I can't tell you... This is connected with the promise that I made with the other dragons that teaches Dragon Slayer Magic] Dracyan told him.
"Wait! Other dragons?... Does it mean you met with other dragons like Igneel, Soliel and Grandeeney?" Pyrus asked.
[I never met that Fire Dragon Igneel personally... But, more precisely, it was your mother, Luna] the Blue Dragon said.
The time that shows on the rune screen still have 2 hours and 18 minutes left. While there's still 44 people left.
"44 people? More than half are gone after the infighting!" Makarov said.
"Darn! If it only we can get rid of these runes!" Natsu growled and then he remembered something "Wait... Pyrus! What about your Celestial Dragon Magic? It can nullify Magic, right?" Natsu realized.
"Oh, you're right... Why didn't we think of that earlier" Happy said.
"No... That's not going to work" Tommy said to them. "If it did, Pyrus would already use it from the start"
"Huh?..." Natsu and Happy confused.
"And why is that?..." Makarov questioned.
"Celestial Dragon Magic have conditions in order to activated the nullification spell, am I right, Big bro?" Rayna asked him.
Pyrus nodded "Yeah... You're right. The Reverse and Vanish Spell have conditions to meet in order to activated them. The first one is that the Magic is must be weaker than my own Magic power. And the second one for the Vanish Spell, the Magic was intended to targeting me. Since the rune was not specific for targeting me, so it doesn't meet the second requirements. It also cannot work to return the girls into normal since I'm not the target" He explained while sighed.
"I see... So, it have kind of weakness huh?" Makarov said in understanding.
"But... That doesn't mean I can't nullify them..." Pyrus continued.
"What did you mean?" Happy asked.
"Happy, remembered the quest that made us switched bodies?" Tommy said to him.
"Huh?... Oh, yeah. Pyrus is already free from the spell before he turn us to normal" Happy remembered.
"So? What does it means?" Natsu asked impatiently.
"It means, if the magic doesn't targeted me... I can still nullify them by making direct contact with the Casters or the Source" Pyrus told him.
"You mean that you have to touch Freed in order to get rid of these runes? Or you can touch Evergreen to nullify the Petrify girls?" Makarov understand of what he was saying.
"That's right... But, too bad they're on the other side of the runes" Pyrus sighed again.
Meanwhile, Reedus tries to get out of Magnolia and flee to Porlyusica. He is prohibited from doing so by Freed's Runes, and soon engages in combat with Freed himself. In the city, Gray faces off against Bickslow while Elfman battles Evergreen.
"Evergreen vs Elfman. Winner is Evergreen... Elfman is out of commission" Makarov reads the runes.
"I can't believe Elfman got beaten!" Happy said in disbelieve. The others shows frustrated expression on their faces.
"Gray's fighting Bickslow! I wanna join in!" Natsu stated.
"Reedus is fighting Freed, too!" Happy added.
"The Thunder God Tribe has started to make their move!" Rayna exclaimed.
"This is bad... How's they gonna win this battle?" Tommy said worriedly.
"Wait... I think this is a good chance for us" Pyrus spoke.
"What did you mean, Pyrus?..." Makarov questioned him.
"Since they has shown themselves, if we beat Evergreen or Freed, we'll have chance to win..." Pyrus said as he looking at Rayna. "Rayna, I counting on you!'
"Eh?... You letting me to fight?!" Rayna asked in surprised.
"Don't!... We can't send her to the battlefield, Pyrus" Makarov disagree.
"Don't worry... Rayna is strong. I believe she can take them down" Pyrus assured "You probably know what I'm talking about, right Master?"
Makarov gone on deep thoughts, he know Rayna has a lot of potential to become stronger in battle more than the boy. "Alright... But we need a plan" Makarov finally agree.
"Already thought about it... First we beat Evergreen and force her to release the girls. With Erza in our side it will increase our chances to win this" Pyrus said.
"Hey! But I want to show off to Erza that I can beat Laxus" Natsu said.
"This isn't the time for that, Natsu" Makarov said. "Alright then... Rayna, you know what to do right?"
"Yes... I just need to beat Evergreen, right?" Rayna summarized the plan.
"That's right... Watch out for her Magic Eyes, once you look at it then you'll also turn into stone and please avoid the other guild members so you don't have to fight them" Makarov told her.
"Well, you don't need to worry about that. Because we're going with her too!" Tommy exclaimed.
"We make sure that no one standing on her way" Alice nodded. She then picking up Rayna and flew towards the city, with Tommy following near them. The guys just watched them leave.
"Hey, you sure it's alright for her going to the battle?" Happy asked Pyrus.
"Yeah... Because Rayna is more talented than me in Magic. During when we were just kids, she was able to match my power with short amount of training while it takes me weeks to reach that kind of strength" Pyrus explained. "Besides we don't have any other choice..." Pyrus said as he pointing at the runes.
"Wha- Reedus was beaten!" Happy said.
"Grrr! I figured Freed could do it! Look at him go!" Natsu said frustrated. "Man, I'm jealous of Rayna that she can fight them"
"Is this really the time to be impressed, Natsu? Now we can't get any help from Porlyusica. We can only hope for Rayna to beat Evergreen" Happy shouted.
"We don't need that. The whole turning to dust thing is a bluff" Natsu assure while crossing his arms.
"You think I'm bluffing, Natsu?" Laxus' thought projection appear behind them.
"Laxus!"
"So why are you guys still here, Natsu... And Pyrus?" Laxus questioned.
"Surprise that you remember my name" Pyrus said.
"We can't get out!" Natsu shouted.
"Laxus..." Makarov looking at him.
"Your members... Well, I guess you call them your children. I bet you can't stand watching ypur children destroy each other, can you?" Laxus said arrogantly "Natsu, Erza, and Pyrus can't join in... There's no one left who could defeat my Thunder God Tribe, is there?... Gonna give in?" He questioned.
"Nope... You're wrong" Pyrus speak up as the others looking at him "Rayna can beat your Thunder God Tribe, I can guarantee that" Pyrus said confidently at his sister ability.
"Rayna? Oh... You mean that little girl. I did senses a strong power from her, but that still wouldn't enough to beat us" Laxus stated in arrogant tone.
"We also have Gray there! He's about as strong as Natsu! He and Rayna ain't gonna lose to Thunder God Tribe" Happy told him.
"Since when he as strong as me?!" Natsu shouted angrily at Happy.
"But it's the truth!" Happy said.
"Gray?... I wouldn't put much faith in that brat" Laxus laughed.
"Don't underestimate them, Laxus!" Makarov shouted.
"But, I only tell the truth... Those two are not fit for the strongest in Fairy Tail" Laxus shrugged.
Pyrus narrowed his eyes "If you looking for the strongest in the guild. Then just you wait... After these runes disappear, I'll make my way towards you and we'll see who's the strongest!" Pyrus declared.
"Hmhmhahaha!... Very well, we'll just wait and see... I'm itching to fight you, Pyrus. After you humiliated me that time, I'll show no mercy for you!" Laxus laughed arrogantly.
-Magnolia-
On the air above Magnolia, Rayna and the twins has been searching for Evergreen "Guys, I found her!" Tommy shouted as he pointed at top of a building. Evergreen seems battle some members as she able to defeat them easily.
"Alright, let's go..." Rayna said with serious expression. The three make their way towards Evergreen.
Evergreen notice them as they land on the rooftop of a building. "Well, this is surprising... I never thought they send a child to face me..." Evergreen said.
"Return Erza and the other girls back to normal..." Rayna said to her.
"What?... Who do you think you're to command me the rightful Queen of Fairies. If you want me to change them to normal, than you've to beat me. Of course it would be impossible for a child like you..." Evergreen said arrogantly.
"Man... If the real Fairy Queen heard that, then she will get cursed to death" Tommy whispering.
"And what's up with that auntie.. She's sounds very arrogant." Alice pointed out.
"Who are you calling auntie? I'm still twenty years old!" Evergreen shouted in anger.
"Oops... She heard you, sis" Tommy told his twin.
"I was planned for her to heard that..." Alice said.
"So, there's no other way than fight huh?" Rayna said.
"That's right... Now let's get things started!" Evergreen declared as glitter dust surrounding Rayna before a explosion take occur at where she standing.
"Hm! That's too easy..." Evergreen chuckles as she then saw that Rayna covered in solar energy that protecting her and the twins from the explosion.
"Oh, seems you can protect yourself from my Fairy Magic" Evergreen said with slightly impressed. Then Rayna vanish from the spot, leaving Tommy and Alice on the area.
"Wha-" Evergreen felt a strong force hit her back that send her crash to the wall. Rayna was able to got behind her with her speed and throw a punch. Alice picked her up on mid air as they slowly descended to the ground.
"There's chance to give up now... Please, just surrender peacefully" Rayna said.
Evergreen recover from the attack as she grit her teeth in anger "You want me to give up?... There's no way I'll give up, not until I can defeat Erza and claim the title of Titania!"
"Fairy Machine Gun : Leprechaun!" Evergreen waves her arms and releasing a torrent of energy needles.
Rayna and Alice see this coming at they quickly take flight to the sky and avoid them in mid air. "I won't let you get away!" Evergreen goes after them as Tommy in pursuit.
Evergreen use her Flight Magic as a pair of wings sprout from her back. She continue to fired her Fairy Machine Gun at them as Rayna and Alice doing some air maneuver. "Fairy Bomb : Gremlin!" Another glitter dust surrounding them as Alice quickly going downward and a strong explosion take occur at the air.
"Fairy Machine Gun : Leprechaun!" Energy needles rain down to the ground, some of town people got caught of from their fight, but luckily they aren't injured.
"I've to beat her before anyone got injured..." Rayna thought as she then think a plan "Alice, go straight towards that house!" Rayna command.
"Roger that!..." Alice brought her towards the house as Rayna position her legs towards the wall, when she made a contact with the wall, Rayna kicked wall hard enough to boost her towards Evergreen.
"Solar Dragon's Iron Fist!" Rayna tried to throw a punch that covered in solar energy at Evergreen. However the woman able to dodge it by push herself to the side as she let rayna went through.
Evergreen fired another torrent of energy needles at the lilac haired girl. Rayna and Alice quickly turn around as Rayna gather solar energy on her arms. "Solar Dragon's Crushing Nails!" Rayna's hands turned like a blade made out of light as she slash away those energy needles and made a way towards Evergreen. Rayna vanish again as she already in front of Evergreen as the lilac haired girl swing her arms down to make a diagonal cut.
Evergreen barely dodge from the assault "Guh!... This girl... I never thought that she could give me some trouble" She thought as she gain distance between them. "In that case how about this!... Fairy Bomb : Gremlin!" Another explosion around Rayna and Alice as they dodge them in the air. Tommy watching from the sidelines as he prepare a magic to help the them.
-Fairy Tail-
Pyrus and the others looking at the runes "Rayna vs Evergreen... The battle still in progress. Gray vs Bickslow... Gray is out of commission. 30 people left" Happy reads the runes.
Laxus burst to laugh looking at result "Hahahaha!... See, didn't I tell you? There's no way Gray will win. And we will just need to wait for that little girl to lose"
"Liar! I'm sure that Bickslow used some dirty trick!" Happy unable to accept that Gray has lose. Natsu grips his fist and grit his teeth in anger while Pyrus was able to remain calm.
"So do you think they can beat Thunder God Tribe now?" Laxus asked as tge number of participants continue to decrease.
"Gajeel will!" Happy exclaimed.
"Oh, right... We forgot about him" Pyrus realized.
"Too bad. Doesn't seem like he's participating" Laxus looking at the runes. "He doesn't actually give a damn about the guild anyway"
"Well, Pyrus and I still here!" Natsu exclaimed angrily.
"If you guys can't get out, it won't do you any good" Laxus told them.
"Fine, enough!" Makarov said as he turn around facing Laxus "I surrender" This shocked Natsu, Pyrus, and Happy.
"Gramps!" Natsu surprised.
"Now, stop this Laxus" Makarov pleading to him.
"Can't do that... The high and mighty Master of Fairy Tail can't go surrendering at a time like this! But If you insist, then how about you give up your position as Master to me?" Laxus said to them.
"That's playing dirty, Laxus!" Natsu told him angrily.
"So... You finally shows your true intention!" Pyrus glaring at him.
"You bastard... Was that your goal all along?" Makarov questioned him in disbelieve.
"It's only one and a half hours until the statues crumble. If you want to retire, use the guild's loudspeakers to announced it so the whole town can hear. Say, ' I'm giving up my position as Master of Fairy Tail to Laxus!'... Think about it well. Which is more important, your position or your friends?" Laxus said to them as the Thought Projection starting to fade away.
"Hold it, damn it!" Natsu charge towards Laxus, only for him to went through the projection and crash to the pillar.
"If you won't fight me, how are you the strongest? How can you be the Master" Natsu questioned angrily.
"I don't care about being Master" Makarov stated.
"Old man... You're okay with it?" Pyrus asked him.
"But I cannot entrust Fairy Tail to Laxus! He doesn't understand the weight of the position! He lacks conviction and heart!" Makarov said.
Pyrus understand the weight for being a leader, during his time with the army, by just a wrong decision, it can be fatal and cause unnecessary casualties.
"Damn it!... Is there something we can do?" Pyrus looking at his left arm "With Dracyan's power, I can easily erase those runes..."
"But at this rate Lucy and the others will turn to dust... Someone has to defeat Laxus and his gang, or..." Happy said in worries. Then they heard sounds coming from the bar as it then revealed to be Gajeel, secretly eating dishware.
"Gajeel, that's where you were?" Natsu said in surprised.
"How come we not notice him?" Pyrus asked himself.
"Don't eat the dishware!" Happy shouted at him.
"Are you going to go?" Makarov asked him.
Gajeel walked out from the bar counter "I've gotta bone to pick with him" Gajeel said as he made his way towards the entrance "Just leave him to me" As he about to leave the guild, the runes stopping him from getting out. The others shouted in surprise as their mouth open wide.
"Are you also 80!?" Natsu questioned with angry tone.
"No, obviously!" Gajeel shouted.
"Hey Dracyan... Can you-" Pyrus is about to asking the dragon
[No...] Dracyan replied without him finish his sentences.
-Magnolia-
"Fairy Bomb : Gremlin!" Many explosion around the town as Evergreen trying to attack Rayna, however the girl and her feline partner proved to be a strong opponent for Evergreen, as they able to dodge those explosion.
At the other parts of town, Bickslow and Freed has wiped out every member of Fairy Tail, leaving only a few only still standing.
One of them is Alzack as he standing next to a wall while badly injured. Because of Freed's rune, he has been fought his friends since the beginning and now He has come to face Freed. Alzack attacks Freed with his Guns Magic, but Freed cuts his attack in half easily with his sword. Alzack, astonished, remarks that his Tornado Shot was sliced apart and suddenly falls to the ground running out of oxygen. He questions Freed whether he has some other type of Magic besides his runes and then falls to the ground. Freed begins to walk away, saying that he only used his runes to their greatest effect and that once his rules are in effect, no one can defeat the creator.
"Battle of Fairy Tail. So, 4 are left?" Freed noted.
-Fairy Tail Guild Hall-
"Only 4 are left?" Makarov said with wide eyes.
"Why can't you guys get out either? Stop copying me!" Natsu shouted at Pyrus and Gajeel.
"How should I know!" Gajeel shouted back.
"Actually, I'm the one who cannot get out first other than Master Makarov. So, the one who's copying is you!" Pyrus pointed at Natsu.
"What was that!?" Natsu throwing tantrums.
"Wait... Four? Just Four!?" Makarov shouted looking at the three Dragon Slayers. If including Rayna who's still fighting at outside.
"And I wasn't even counted!?" Happy cried.
"I have only one wizard left to fight... I guess that's it..." Makarov looking down.
"Old man..." Pyrus thought "No choice then... I've to erase that runes even if I have to lose something again..." He tried to activate the Blue Dragon Emperor's power.
[Kid! Don't be reckless! Didn't your girlfriend has forbidden you to use my power?] Dracyan trying to stop him.
"Hey! She's not my girlfriend!" Pyrus mentally shouted in embarrassment.
[Then listen to me for once... There's gotta be another way]
"But... How am I suppose to do?..." Pyrus thought, Stella Fantasy wouldn't work against runes, but then he remember the card that Lunalight gave him "With that card, I can call Luna and asked for her help. Using her speed, she can gets here in matter of seconds... But, what if she's bussy?..." Pyrus thought.
"Oh, well, Guess I better revive Erza" Natsu suddenly spoke up, surprised the others. "And I thought I could finally show off to Erza" Natsu made his way towards her.
"Wait! What are you gonna do?" Makarov asked him.
"Won't she melt if I heat her? You know, the stone shell" Natsu questioned.
"Don't!..." Makarov shouted.
"That's not how it works, Natsu!" Pyrus shouted.
"Erza and the others have turned to stone completely!" Happy shouted at him.
"We don't know until we try, right?" Natsu lay down Erza to the floor.
"Stop it! You want to kill Erza?" Makarov asked him.
"Boil her nice and good..." Natsu with some kind of pervert smile while his hands on fire trying to touch Erza.
"Are you going to rub her with flames?" Makarov shouted.
"Hey buddy, not so frisky" Gajeel told him.
Suddenly, a crack appear on Erza's head. They guys shouted in horror looking at the crack.
"Shoot, she broke! Glue, glue! Happy, get the glue!" Natsu with panic tone, trying to fixing her up.
"Aye sir!" Happy flying around to find the glue.
"Natsu, you idiot!... Stella Fantasy!" Pyrus brought Nymph out from his pocket dimension "Nymph! Hurry up and fix Erza!" He said without proper command.
"Huh?! What happened while I'm taking a nap?!" Nymph shouted in confusion.
"You idiot, glue won't work! Use your flames on my iron, and we'll weld her back together!" Gajeel shouted at him while turning his arm into iron. But the cracks getting larger almost covered her face.
"Aahhhh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!..." Natsu repeatedly bow for forgiveness. And then Erza's statue broken down and turn her into normal. The others is dumbfounded that Erza is not Petrify anymore.
"It's hot..." Erza muttered then glared at Natsu "Was it you, Natsu?... What were you trying to do!?" She punch him hard and he crash at Gajeel.
"Erza's back!" Pyrus and Happy cheered.
"Yaaaay..." Nymph cheer with monotone voice while still doesn't understand what's going on.
"Thank goodness" Makarov said in relieved "But, how?"
"I don't really know... Perhaps it's because of my right eye" Erza told him while put her hand on her right eye.
"What's the matter with your right eye?" Pyrus questioned.
"I see! The artificial eye must have lowered the effect of the magic" Makarov concluded the cause.
"Erza, do you know what's going on?" Happy asked her.
"Yes... Even though I was turned to stone, I could hear you" Erza nodded.
"Alright! It's time for a counter attack! Rayna is out there fighting alone, go on help her" Makarov exclaimed.
"Right..." Erza nodded as they go to the entrance to see the status. Rayna is still fighting Evergreen as they speak.
"5 remaining... With me restored, the number remaining changed appropriately. How elaborate" Erza looking at the runes.
"Those five are Natsu, Gajeel, Pyrus, Rayna, and Erza, right?" Happy said.
Then the number increase by one "6 remaining?" They said in confusion.
"It increased?"
"Who?" They take a look at the Petrify girls, but no one has been restored yet.
"There's one more out there, remember? Outside of the city" Erza smirked.
"You don't mean... Him?" Natsu realized who's Erza referring to.
"No way!"
"Does this mean he's back?" Makarov and Happy said.
"Looks like the real war is about to begin. This is getting interesting" Erza smiled.
"Who are you talking about?" Pyrus and Gajeel asked at the same time.
"Another possible candidate for the strangest in Fairy Tail... Mystogan!" Erza exclaimed.
"Oooooh..." Pyrus opening his mouth in a perfect circle.
"You know him?" Gajeel glance at him.
"I have no idea..." Pyrus replied honestly while shook his head.
"At least pretend that you know him!" Gajeel shouted.
"Alright then... I'm off!" Erza ran towards the town, the guys can only hope that she on time to help Rayna.
-Magnolia-
Erza running on the street, passing other townsfolk. She saw some explosion at the sky as Rayna keep on dodging Evergreen.
"There they are!.." She proceed to jump into the rooftops and following them.
Meanwhile Evergreen is to focused on Rayna "Hmph! You can't run forever, little girl!" Evergreen said, firing more of her Leprechaun at the lilac haired girl.
"Kuh!.." Rayna turn around as solar energy appear around her hands "Solar Dragon's Sun Missiles!" She fired a large number compressed ball of light. However Evergreen able to avoid them narrowly escaped, the attacks lead towards the houses of town peoples.
"Oh no!..." Rayna quickly using few hand movements to directing the Sun Missiles to the sky and causing an explosion.
Sighed in relieved, Rayna was able to avoid the Sun Missiles to destroy the peoples houses.
"Hm! You're wide open!..." Evergreen appear in front of her with her glasses already lifted up as Rayna looking directly at her eyes.
"Rayna! Don't look at her eyes!" Tommy shouted. But it was too late.
"Hehe!... The victory is mine!" Evergreen exclaimed, the girl has been put into her Petrify spell, but instead she got hit in the face by Rayna.
"Why you!" Evergreen was about to launch an attack.
"Dark Eagles!" Some eagles made out of darkness disturbing her concentration. "Now, Rayna!" Tommy shouted.
"Solar Dragon's Wing Attack!" Rayna swing down her arms and the attack hit Evergreen directly, causing her to crash to a nearby wall at a large building.
"Guah!" Evergreen gasped from the pain, as she looking at Rayna "It can't be... My Stone Eyes should have already turn her into stone... But why she doesn't get under the spell?" She asked himself as Rayna and Alice descend to her level while Tommy fly towards them.
Rayna quickly turn her hands into energy blade as she pointing directly at Evergreen "It's over... You don't have any energy left to fight" Rayna said looking at Evergreen "Now turn the girls back to normal!...And no harm will come to you" She demanded at the woman.
"Hmph!... Aren't you being a bit naive here?" Evergreen chuckled
"Hm?..." The girl tilted her head in confusion.
"My Stone Eyes have another power. It's like a remote control, I can turn those stone women into piles of rubble from here!" Evergreen explained, causing Rayna's eyes widened.
"Hey! That's just playing dirty!" Alice shouted.
"Is this how you mage do when you lose a fight?!" Tommy questioned in anger.
"Hah! Say whatever you want... Now, bow down to me if you don't wanna those women to die" Evergreen threatened her.
"Don't listen to her, Rayna! She must be just bluffing!" Alice assuming. Rayna make her energy blade disappeared in defeat.
"Rayna!..." Alice and Tommy shouted.
"Hehe, this is too easy..." Evergreen thought with a smirk. However, the girl lift up her hand as Solar energy gather, forming a small ball like a miniature of the sun. It then began to expand more larger.
"Wait... What are you!?..." Evergreen have a terrified look on her face, as the ball is large enough almost the half size of the building. The temperature has risen as Evergreen finally feel the scorching heat of the energy.
"So you value victory over your life..." Rayna said with deep tone "Then, I will purify the souls of those turned to dust with your very life. May your burning corpse return to earth and become soil for a new life of beautiful flowers"
Evergreen trembling as she looking at her demise right in front of her.
"Stop! That's enough, Rayna!" Erza shouted calling out for her. "She doesn't have that kind of ability, it only just a bluff!"
This making Rayna snapped back from the reality "Huh?... Is that Erza?" She turn around to find her. She then realize the Solar Energy ball on top of her. "Aaaah!..." She shouted in surprise and quickly making it vanish. "What have I done!? I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She timidly apologize to Evergreen for trying to kill her.
Evergreen sweatdrop, not believing this is the girl who trying to kill her before.
"Seems she beat you fair and square, Evergreen..." Erza smiled.
"Erza... How did you escaped from my Stone Eyes?" Evergreen asked.
"That's because of my Artificial right eye" Erza replied.
"I see... I guess being Titania is impossible for me. I couldn't even beat a little girl, let alone you..." Evergreen said.
"If you want to call yourself Titania, then feel free. I don't know who gave me that nickname in the first place anyway" Erza told her. "Now stop this foolishness and return everyone to normal!"
"I refuse! They're very important for Laxus' plan" Evergreen said.
"Oh?..." Erza walking towards her.
"Erza, what are trying to do?" Rayna asked her.
Erza then change into her normal armor and bitch slapped Evergreen.
"Ouch! What was that for!?" Evergreen asked while holding her cheek..
"Still don't want to turn them back?" Erza then slapped her again.
"How about now?" She asked, before Evergreen could answer, Erza slapped her again.

She continue to slapped her until Evergreen's cheek turn red by those slaps. Rayna and the twins sweatdrop looking at the Scarlet haired woman continuously slapped the poor woman.
"Okay, I give..." She said before falling to the ground.
"And that's how you interrogated someone..." Erza said looking at Rayna.
At the guild, everyone learns of Rayna's victory over Evergreen, Makarov learns of this and is delighted. Pyrus using Nymph's Telepathy Magic to get contact with Rayna and told her to go back at the guild.
"Well, I guess we've to go now..." Rayna said.
"Alright, be careful out there... There's still enemy left" Erza told her and the girl nodded.
-Kardia Cathedral-
Laxus slammed his fist in anger on the wall after learns that Evergreen has defeated "Worthless trash! How could Eve lose to the likes of that little girl? Since when did you get so weak, Eve?"
"Seems the girl is a lot stronger than what we expected" Freed arrived at the church "Now with Erza is on her side, this is a job for Bickslow or myself"
"Why have you returned, Freed?" Laxus questioned him.
"Because the game is over. With the hostage is now free, the Master will no longer budge" Freed replied. Laxus retaliates by shooting a thunderstrike in his direction, Freed used his arms for defend, but the attack purposely missed him.
"It's not over" Laxus told him "If you won't follow me, then get lost. You aren't needed in my Fairy Tail"
-Fairy Tail-
In the guild, the girls is freed from the Petrify spell, and now being briefed on what happened.
"Battle of Fairy Tail?" Lucy confused.
"Laxus did what?" Cana questioned.
"Well, it's over now. With you all returned to normal, there's no way I'm going to play Laxus' silly game any more" Makarov told them.
"But, what about everyone that was injured from Freed's traps?" Mirajane questioned.
"That's right! If we don't teach Laxus a lesson, he'll never learn!" Bisca stated.
"And you think I don't know that! I'll give him a punishment he'll never forget!... Damn you, Laxus. You're not going to get away with it this time!" Makarov said agreed to punish Laxus.
"Wait a second..." Natsu humbly spoken "I have to agree with Laxus about the whole determine who the strongest in Fairy Tail is needed"
"Huh!?" Everyone confused at him.
"So don't be so hard on the guy, Gramps" Natsu smiled.
"Natsu... You're such a..." Makarov looking at him.
"So anyway... The second Battle of Fairy Tail starts now! Bring it on, everyone!" Natsu happily declared while pump up his fists to the air.
"WHAT?!"
"STOP IT ALREADY!" Makarov shouted.
"Cause we haven't done anything yet! Come on, let's battle!" Natsu get into fighting stance while throw a punch at the air while facing Lucy.
"Give it a rest already. You're saying it like you're serious or something" Lucy said languidly.
"If you insist, I'll fight you" Cana said.
"Cana, don't encourage him" Bisca told her.
"Natsu... I don't think fighting women really counts as a battle" Happy said while rising his paw.
"Man, woman... Doesn't matter to me!" Natsu said with mocking face.
"Whoa, that face is pissing me off!" Happy angrily said, "C'mon Pyrus, show him what you got!" The blue cat said to him.
"Why me?..." Pyrus questioned.
"Oh? You want to fight, Pyrus?... Then here I go!" Natsu charge at him.
"Stop it, Natsu..." Pyrus lazily said as Natsu approach him, the boy quickly use his wind to send Natsu to the ceiling and dropped to the ground really hard.
Gajeel looking at them with natural expression "What's the matter, Gajeel?" Juvia asked him.
"Nothing..." Gajeel replied.
"This guild sure is fun" Juvia smiled.
"It's got a screw loose" Gajeel added. While they are talking, some of Freed's runes fly in to make the shape of a skull. The skull, which is a way for Laxus to communicate.
"Can you hear me, old man? Same goes for the rest of you" Laxus' voice coming from the skull.
"Laxus!"
"Seems one of the rules is gone. So I'll make a new rule now. In order for the Battle of Fairy Tail to continue, I have activated the Thunder Palace"
"Thunder Palace?!" Makarov said in surprised.
"You have one hour and ten minutes left. So, can you defeat me? Or will you retire, Master?" Laxus laughed as the skull disappeared.
"What are you thinking, Laxus?! You plan on getting innocent people involved in this!?" Makarov shouted in anger, and suddenly feeling pain in his chest as he grips his heart and fell down.
"Gramps!"
"Old man!"
"What's wrong with him?" Everyone looking at him worriedly.
"Oh, no! Get his usual medicine!" Mira runs to get his medicine.
"And at a time like this..." Bisca check on him.
"Master, please hang in there!" Levy said to him.
"What's this Thunder Palace thing?" Natsu asked. "Gramps..."
"Everyone look outside!" Mirajane told them. The group runs towards the balcony on the second floor. On the sky, they found a grand number of Thunder Lacrimas positioned over Magnolia. Outside, the town peoples also notice the Lacrimas, but do not understand the gravity of the situation.
"Each of those lacrima stores a great deal of magical lightning energy. So, this Thunder Palace is probably..." Cana looking at those lacrimas. "Now Magnolia is the target..."
"So what happens if those things discharge?" Lucy questioned while pointing at the lacrimas.
"Countless thunderbolts will rain down on the city" Cana answered that making the others speechless.
"I won't let that happen!" Bisca stated "Sniper Rifle Requip" Bisca then shoots one of them off, but once the Lacrima is destroyed, due to Organic Link Magic, all the following Magic Power channeled into the destroyer strikes Bisca with lightning.
Saying this is will bad for the townsfolk, the girls decided to go and beat Laxus.
"I'll try and get the people of the city to evacuate!" Lucy said.
"I'll go, too!" Happy following her.
"There are still two of the Thunder God Tribe left! Be careful out there!" Cana told Lucy before she following her to the city.
Natsu and Pyrus can only watch in silence as they cannot do anything to stop Laxus.
-Kardia Cathedral-
"Hahahahaha!... How about that, old man? My next hostages are everyone in the the entire city! Laxus stated.
"I think you're going too far" Freed told him.
"Too far?" Laxus repeated "I'll decide what's too far... This is a fight to finish! Until one of us is wiped out, this battle won't end!" Laxus said with lightning spark around him.
-Fairy Tail-
"What is that bastard thinking!?" Natsu growled as then jump off from the balcony, only to hit the runes wall. "This is going overboard! If you want to be Master so bad, then fight Gramps yourself!" Natsu headbutt the runes but his effort is futile.
"Alright... Are you ready, Dracyan?" Pyrus asked the dragon.
[Sigh.. With many people lives is on the line, i guess we don't have a choice. Just don't blame me if anything happens to you] Dracyan warned.
"Natsu, calm down!" Levy told him.
"This is no time to be calm! Damn it! There's another invisible wall here!" He throw some punches and kicks at the runes.
"It's runes, right?" Levy asked him.
"We know that already" Gajeel crossed his arms.
"Yeah, what about it?" Pyrus looking at her.
"It's one of the writing magics. So I might be able to help" Levy told them.
"What?"
"Really?"
"Is that true, Levy?"
The three dragon slayers said respectively.
"I believe that you guys can stop Laxus" Levy said, confident that she might be able to break the runes
-Magnolia-
Elsewhere, Freed looks intimidated and absolutely against Laxus's ways, but concords with his decision and leaves. He decides to follow him even to the pits of hell, while Laxus boasts that he will take out Erza and Mystogan.
Meanwhile, Lucy and Happy are attacked by Bickslow, who previously had beaten Gray. Lucy summons Sagittarius, the Archer, who takes out all of Bickslow' s babies, but he just uses other objects for his babies vessel with his Human Possession Magic. He steals her keys, and then proceeds to shot her with Baryon Formation, but she is saved by Loke, who seemed to have crossed the gate regardless of her will.
Bickslow says that he always knew Loke was a Celestial Spirit, and Loke says that everyone who threatens Lucy will be his target. He wants Lucy to stand back, but she takes out her whip, and states that she doesn't use spirits as shields; she fights alongside them. With their new battle strategy, Loke calls on Regulus to give him power.
Loke and Lucy are fighting together to defeat Bickslow. Lucy gets close to Bickslow and attacks him with her whip. Seeing this Bickslow uses his Figure Eyes. Happy orders everyone to close their eyes, and explains its effects. Loke and Lucy keep their eyes closed, but by doing so they are unable to dodge Bickslow's attacks.
Loke suggests Lucy to close his gate and take shelter into Horologium, but Lucy,who is unable to do so due to the loss of her keys, trusts Loke and asks him to find a solution. And so he does. He wants Lucy to charge in when he hears his signal. Loke uses Lion Brilliance to illuminate the whole area, forcing Bickslow to close his eyes and Lucy attacks and traps him with her whip.
Bickslow states that Lucy shouldn't take order from her spirits and cries that Loke cannot defeat him, but Loke responds that he is not what he used to be. He explains that now that he has Lucy, he has regained all his Magic Power with her as his Master and has even become more powerful. He shouts that Love makes Spirits stronger, unlike his dolls, and attacks him with Regulus Impact, defeating Bickslow.
-Fairy Tail-
At the guild, Gajeel, Levy, Pyrus and Natsu learn of Lucy's victory. "Alright, Lucy won!" Natsu smiled looking at the runes.
"Not bad, she can take someone at that caliber huh?" Pyrus impressed.
"No way! That cheerleader can fight?" Gajeel surprised.
"Lucy is strong" Natsu told him.
"You're joking! I mean, she's a cheerleader!" Gajeel pointed out.
"And what's wrong for being a cheerleader? I bet Lucy can also beat Bickslow while being a bunny girl too" Pyrus added. Levy is also impressed by Lucy as she continued to decipher the runes while the boys debating about Lucy being a cheerleader.
"Why, you! Haven't you ever heard story of the Tortoise and the Cheerleader?" Natsu push his forehead at Gajeel while holding Tortoise plushie out of nowhere
"That's a Rabbit, not a cheerleader! And the rabbit lost!" Gajeel argued back with a rabbit plushie on his head.
"Woah, where did they got that stuffed animals?" Pyrus asked with Nymph whistling innocently.
"Sure, the rabbit lost the first time. But then then the rabbit won like a hundred times in a row afterwards" Natsu explained.
"Oh, that makes sense. Learning from failure" Gajeel agreed.
"That's it!" Levy suddenly shouted. Making the boys startled. "I got it! You read the two grammars at different rates to decipher it!" Lavy writes down the formula "Then I match the corresponding time differentiated letters and convert to Gheel grammar... Then translate into Rogue..."
"You know what she's saying?" Pyrus asked Gajeel.
"How should I know?" Gajeel shouted.
"I solved it!" Levy exclaimed. With the dragon slayers impressed by her.
At that moment, Rayna and the twins has arrived on the guild. "What's has been solved?" Rayna asked them.
"Rayna, great news, now the three of us can get out from this runes" Natsu said to her.
"It all thanks to Levy" Pyrus added.
"Wait a sec... I still need to rewrite the runes first!" Levy make her way in front of the runes.
"Alright!" Gajeel feeling quite happy.
"Natsu... Gajeel... Pyrus... Are you ready? You're about to join the Battle of Fairy Tail!" Levy said to them.
"I'm all fired up!" Natsu exclaimed with blazing flames on his fist.
"It's time for rampage!" Gajeel smirked.
"It's showtime!..." Pyrus said as lightning spark around him.
"Okay, listen up... If you get caught in Freed's runes, this will all be for nothing. When you leave here split up, got it!?" Levy told them.
"Aye sir!"
"Roger that!
Natsu and Pyrus mimicking their partner catchphrase.
"Big bro... Natsu... Gajeel... Please be careful out there" Rayna told them.
"Beat them to the ground!" Tommy added.
"We're counting on you!" Alice told them.
"Right!... Let's go!" Pyrus said as they then leave the guild and split up.
-Elsewhere-
Meanwhile, Cana and Juvia are looking for Laxus, when they encounter Freed. He traps them inside his Rune Enchantments , and forces them to fight each-other, if they want to leave. Juvia sacrifices herself by attacking one of the Lacrimas in the air, releasing the Runes.
In her last conscious words, she expresses that she just wanted people to accept her as a member of Fairy Tail, but Cana says they already have. She cries that she is her friend and an amazing Fairy Tail Mage, which makes Juvia happy, as she faints, and makes Cana furious and attacks Freed.
Meanwhile, Natsu, Pyrus and Gajeel have split up and are looking for Laxus. Gajeel talks through a Familiar to Master Ivan Dreyar, and he responds that for the time being his mission is to gain the Fairy Tail members' trust, and to not be discovered. He orders him to act as a full fledged Fairy Tail member, and adds that Fairy Tail's punishment will soon come.
Elsewhere, Mirajane who had found Elfman unknowingly enter Cana's and Freed's battlefield, and watch as Cana gets defeated. Elfman intervenes, but Freed, deeming him defeated and out of the game, attacks him with Dark Ecriture, torturing him. Mirajane watches, feeling useless, and begs Freed to stop.
He doesn't and prepares to use his final spell, Dark Ecriture: Death. This sends Mirajane into a state of shock, in which she remembers the final moments of Lisanna's life and the pain she went through, imagining the death of her only living sibling.
Mirajane's Magic Power awakens in a blast of light and she uses Take Over : Satan Soul. She jumps at Freed, who is forced to use his Dark Ecriture: Wings to try and evade her, but to no end. Mirajane releases her wings too, and follows him, and attacks with many Darkness Magic Spells. Freed, in response, performs a spell he claims to be forbidden, Dark Ecriture: Darkness.
This turns Freed into a Demon too, but Mirajane still has the upper hand. While fighting, she uses various Elemental Magics, before finally managing to incapacitate Freed. When she approaches to deliver the final blow, Lisanna's face and last smile flash through her mind, and Mirajane deactivates Satan Soul.
She loses the will to fight, and reminds Freed of their relationship as friends and that they are from the same Guild, meaning that they are family. Freed, realizing that he dearly treasured the bonds his Guild has given him, begins to cry, admitting that he never wanted to take part in Laxus' plan.

Pyrus walking casually towards the church after located where Laxus is. A rune screen appear near him "Freed vs Mirajane... Both removed themselves from contention" He reads the runes "So, the magic that i felt before is from Mira huh?..." He thought while let a smile. "The others are still looking around the city..." He check his wind radar
"Now... It's only you left... Laxus!" Pyrus is already in front of the Kardia Cathedral. He opening the large door as he found Laxus sitting pensive on the stairs.
"Hm?" Laxus' eyes locked towards the boy who just entered the church. "Finally you're arrived... Pyrus"
"Yeah... Thanks to that stupid runes, I can't fight you sooner" Pyrus said.
"There's still 15 minutes before the Thunder Palace activates" Laxus said. "So, where's the old man? If you can step out from the runes then he can also do it right?"
"I'm alone is enough..." Pyrus stated with serious expression.
"Is he not gonna step down? What a stubborn old fool, as usual" Laxus said. "So, can we starts the game?" Laxus' lightning sparks around him.
"Before that, can you call off the Thunder Palace right now, I might not able to fight serious due to worried about those things" Pyrus said "Who knows, maybe you can still pass this off as merely entertainment if you do it now"
"How ignorant... Haven't you heard the rumors figuring who is the strongest in Fairy Tail? At first it's only me or Mystogan, but now you also join in the list"
"Not that I care about the strongest in Fairy Tail. Seems you forgetting about Gildarts... And Erza too" Pyrus reminded him.
"That old geezer? He probably died on that quest. No one has came back alive after taking 100 years Quest." Laxus told him
"Well, I pretty sure he haven't die yet..." Pyrus replied.
"Oh, and how did you know?" Laxus asked.
"Of course I met him around a half year ago..." He answered. "So, what did you think of Erza... You think she have potential to become the strongest?"
"Her? Not a chance... She's on the right track, but still weak" Laxus replied.
"Erza weak? You're more blind than I thought..." The boy said.
"I'm saying that because I recognize your Skills, Pyrus." Laxus said "I wonder which one of us is really the strongest in Fairy Tail?"
"If that is all your eyes can see, then I'll show you just how ignorant you are!" Pyrus said while his hair and eyes turn back to their original color due for not focused on his Transformation Magic.
"Let's settle this, we'll decide who's the strongest! Pyrus... Or rather if you prefer your real name... Zephyrus!" Laxus said. Pyrus' eyes widened that Laxus know his name.
"You... Just how much did you know?" The boy questioned in a deep tone. Blue lightning began to spark widely near him.
"Heh... I only know it just few days ago..." Laxus' lightning is also spark around him.
Sparks of lightning began to spread throughout the room, the two Wizards focusing their magic at their fist. Both vanish instantly with lightning speed as their fist collide, causing strong explosion of blue and yellow lightning that destroyed entire window glass at the church.
