I thankfully had a normal dream unlike last night when I slept in the castle but I couldn't really count my blessings as I had so many curses that it didn't matter what tiny blessing I may gain I slowly rose out of the bed and then jumped down from said bed I was still dressed in my outfit from yesterday as I forgot to take it off. I then walked over to my nightstand which irritated me as it once again reminded me of my current height but, I tried not to mind it as I would have to contain my anger for later as I have to find Myne and have a talk. I picked up my pouch of money then tied it to my hip. It felt lighter either a show that I have gotten stronger last night or Myne stole my money, something I would have to find out later then I reached for the egg and hugged it close to my chest. It had a soothing effect when I held it like that, kinda like a ch- I quickly shook my head which once again reminded me of the untamed mane of hair I now inherited from the body's owner. that noble lady tried to brush it but she obviously didn't do a good job that or with all these events It made it worse, as it still looks unbelievably messy that is another thing I will have to deal with and get the shield which comes with it I added that to the ever-growing list I needed to do. Then with the egg in my arms I went to my door I shifted the egg to be held mostly in my left arm then I reached up upwards to the doorknob once again it was a reminder that this is not my body nor will it ever be my body. but I continued to push down the anger I could release it against Myne and the balloon monsters later on. I opened the door I had to back up as I opened it, then went through the door closed it, and then put the egg back in both arms
Now, where was Myne's room again? Ah yes, she didn't tell me, or was I simply too tired to care. I need to find someone to help find the snake but who? I began to search my mind on who
Anybody besides the heroes was an instant no they all probably racist assholes
Motoyasu instantly was out as I don't even know where he was nor do I ever wanted to interact with him after what happened yesterday
Itsuki also as I feel like he treats me too much like a defenseless little girl damn bastard
Now Ren always seemed indifferent to me and he could also help me with something else
Now the question would be where would he be knowing him there were 3 places he would be

I was hoping that the second option as then he would have to rely on Itsuki and if he wasn't available I would have to try to find her by myself in this rather large Inn with that I decided to walk to the dinner party of the Inn as I arrived I heard the usual bullshit that comes from the other tables
"I can't believe they even let that thing in"
"I know I feel like I might wake up with fleas or something"
'Or maybe it would curse you in your sleep"
And much more, some less mean and some just plain disturbing but at least these were incredibly rare as he only heard these disturbing like things like 3 times but 3 times is more than enough especially as one of those was
"I would love to tie that thing up and hear its screams" was one I heard in passing while walking with Myne in just 2 days being in this world I could already assume most of what people would say under their breath it greatly disturbed me that these people could be like that but that is how the world works not much I can do to change it but then again not everyone said these type of things under their breath as with any variable there are some outliers some of the not aggressive ones he heard were mostly just gasps or
"So it is true" then there was some that some people might consider positive I just put it into the disturbing category but at least it wasn't outright negative just creepy

But mostly it was either silence or something negative about me but I shouldn't listen to the bullshit these people were saying as I was on a mission looking around the dinner I found him sitting at a table alone but his party seemed to sitting at different tables so he wasn't 100% alone
I quickly called out to Ren as I grew closer
"Hey Ren I need your help" oh how I hate that voice it was another reminder that was not my body not like I could ever forget
Ren looked up from what I could only assume is porridge or maybe stew when he saw me he looked up and down then his gaze landed on the egg held tightly in my arm he then rose an eyebrow at me his party member seemed not really to care
I soon arrived at the table seemingly uncaring Ren turned towards me
"What do you want ne-Naofumi?" he asked seemingly bored or maybe tired? I couldn't tell
"I need you to help me with 2 things first I need your help finding Myne I need to talk to her and second I need your help going to the Dragon hourglass"
"I don't know exactly where Myne went but I talked to her before she left she said that she felt that she helped you enough and wanted to find Motoyase as he supposedly he hasn't returned since last night I think he is just training" I answer the newbie in front of me that was holding a monster egg I probably should ask about that after I ask about the Dragon Hourglass
"So why do you need my help with the Dragon Hourglass?" I asked
With a slight blush on their face, they answered
"I don't feel safe going into the church"
What… was the newbie trying to RP? As they should know the NPC wouldn't just randomly attack you especially in the church that was a non-PVP and PVE area or are THAT new to games that they don't realize that NPC can't just randomly attack you? I can't tell I guess I should help I don't have anything planned besides getting some more EXP but this shouldn't screw with my grinding as it should just take a few minutes and also I am curious about that egg I assume the Tutorial NPC lead them that as a replacement companion for the spot that they take but why would they choose a monster egg? It doesn't matter I'll ask on the way putting up a good fake smile I looked down at the newbie

A/N: Alright so If you don't read the comment on Ao3 you probably don't know this but I didn't hid it that well inside the egg is Sakura now so I have a question for you guys as Filolial's angel form change depending on the hero raising them would you want Loli Sakura, Teenage or Adult (Adult I feel is the hardest one to explain story wise but yeah)
