CHAPTER 25 - The gym and Victoria

"Do you want to come up Edward..?"
"No Bella..."
This Chapter...
Edward looked nervous and that was making me nervous... in reality - I could feel my heart was sinking.
"Is something wrong? I know we aren't exactly dating but we can still hang out, and I know that I can -" Edward interrupted my rambling.
"Bella, deep breaths... I would love to be with you, and go to your apartment..."
"Then why? Is it something-"
"No Bella, I can't believe I'm such a fucking idiot... I should've phrased it better." He composed himself and started over. "What I meant is - I would love to take you up on your offer, but I will not... because as much as it would be amazing to spend some time with you, when I do actually visit you or go to your apartment, it will be when we are in a proper relationship. I can't believe I'm saying this but - for our sakes we should hold off... at least till our first date"
I was surprised by his words, at the same time I really wasn't. Edward is a gentleman, through and through.
"You are truly amazing Edward." He let out a deep breath. He really thought that I would hate him for his sentiments. Silly man.
I leaned in to kiss his cheek, just as he turned his face to say something, and I ended up kissing his lips. So I kinda just went along with it...
He was shocked for a split second, but he responded after his shock wore off. Our kiss escalated, and we were just making out in his car now.
I wouldn't have realized anything or that we were making out in a public space, if we both didn't have to come up for air.
"Wow... Bella you are something else. I swear I wasn't aiming for that.." he chuckled and I could feel my cheeks heat up.
"I wasn't aiming for that as well... I was kinda just going to kiss your cheek, because you are really sweet... but Edward you accuse me of being bad... but you're no less". I felt confident, so I wasn't holding backing anything.
We both started laughing...
"I swear Bella... you are soooo... addicting. Ever since day one... I know you won't believe me if I told you... but I felt this pull to you even then... when we first locked eyes, or rather when I first saw you enter the gym... even now I am completely drawn to you..."
His eyes were smouldering... looking into mine.
"I know what you mean..." I couldn't look away. So I went in for another quick kiss...
"Goodnight Edward... I... I can't wait for Friday". I quickly left the car... knowing that we would be in there for the rest of our lives, if one of us didn't move...
"Send me a text when you reach the apartment" he shouted from across the lot.
I turned to look at him one last time and gave him a small wave. He waved back and waited.
I was rushing back to the apartment, exhilarated.
I shot him a text and finally realized all of what happened today. Things ended but more things began as well.
This was amazing...
I honestly didn't even feel a hundredth of what I felt when I was with Riley, compared to what I feel when I'm with Edward.
I sighed and as I was lying down on my back and staring at the ceiling, I knew that Edward was everything to me, and I don't think my heart could take it if Edward didn't feel the same way, but somehow I seriously doubt that would be the case...
My phone dinged with a text -
Goodnight beautiful Bella. Sweet dreams.
I responded -
Sweet dreams Edward.
My night was always good, especially on the days I got to see Edward, my dreams were always filled with beautiful, sparkling Emerald eyes...
The next morning, Edward was not going to the gym so Rose picked me up...
"Hellooooo Bella... honest to god we don't talk anymore..."
She was kinda right.
"You're right... you've been hanging with Em though... I've officially been dropped to the second most important person in your life." I poured..
"Nuh-uh Isabella. You don't get to do that to me, I mean you are one to talk". She smirked at me.
"Oh c'mon Rose... we are so happy right now... Rose you look like you are glowing. But we don't talk about anything anymore, that needs to change."
"Thank god... The sex is amazing... I mean I've never felt anything like it... do you know Em is also like super amazing and the sweetest..." Rose sighed. The Rosalie Hale sighed.
The sex part aside (any conversation revolving around boys was like that with Rose, so I just ignored it) - she was completely smitten.
The it hit me -
"You love him don't you? Oh my gooddd!!! You love him!" I was screaming at this point.
"Jeez Isabella! You don't have to shout."
"You didn't deny it!! Damn Rosalie!!! Dammnnn". I was beyond stunned.
"Ok...ok... yes I guess I might have certain strong feelings towards him... I dunno".
"Nooo Rose... why do you do that.." I groaned at her.
She just shrugged. I rolled my eyes at her. We reached the gym and we were on our way to the floor.
"We will continue this later." My tone and voice was final. Rose could do nothing except glare at me.
"Oh hey Bella... hey Rosie!" Em's face brightened just looking at her.
Aww so ccuuuteee.
"Have fun you two, I'm sure you both would loooveee to work out.." I managed to slip in a double innuendo. I was proud of myself. Rose shot me a dirty look... yeeeshhh, she did not seem too pleased with me.
I just smirked at walked off, to my class.
The yoga class went really smooth, except for Victoria who managed to catch up with me after class.
"Hey Bella." She literally spat out my name.
"Umm... hi Vic-"
"Yeah let me cut you off there. For weeks I have been trying to get it through your thick skull , but you are so dumb you are not getting the hint - stay away from Edward you little bitch. You are so misshapen that you- "
"That's enough Victoria." I heard an angry voice.
I couldn't talk or argue back. Tears were brimming in my eyes. I felt so pathetic and angry. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't find my voice.
I think I was finally having "the emotional or mental breakdown" that everyone was thinking I would eventually have. But not quite...
I wasn't ready to go down without a fight, but before I could say anything, a familiar low and menacing voice spoke -
"I will not stand you talking to Isabella like that..."
