Rose woke one morning not feeling so well. She felt that she was going to vomit, and she raced to the bathroom. She stood by the toilet to see if anything was going to come up, but nothing did. She sat on the toilet and looked over to the bedroom, she saw that Scorpius wasn't there. Rose closed her eyes; she knew that he came home from work last night because he was sleeping by her side at one in morning. She missed him.

After they got home from their honeymoon, Scorpius threw himself into his work. Rose barely saw him. At first it was only an hour late than it turned into two, then three. She couldn't stay up because she was so tired now. With Rose being so tired and feeling sick most of the day, she wondered if she could be pregnant. She had that thought last night when she was trying to figure out when her period was coming, and it hasn't showed up yet.

She was going to have to get a pregnancy test from the apothecary shop in the Ally. It was a good thing she was having lunch with her cousins today; she could stop there afterwards. Rose decided to take a shower before heading downstairs to find something to eat.

She mumbled on some toast and tea while reading the Daily Prophet. She needed something to do with her time. She knew that she didn't have to work but she needed something to do. She knew that she could work on a story that was working on in her mind, but all she needed to do was write a few ideas down. She could read a book now that she had time, but nothing was holding her interest. She investigated the sitting room and saw the wedding presents sitting in corner, waiting to be unwrapped. Rose wanted Scorpius to be there to go through it, but he was never around. She glanced at the clock on the wall to see that she had few hours until she had to meet her cousins. She could go shopping and spend Scorpius' money, but she did that last week and it got boring after a couple of hours.

Rose got up and made her way to the sitting room, she guessed that she would go through the gifts and make notes on who to spend thank you cards to. She waved her wand and a quick quill and parchment landed on the table. Rose read the cards and put forth who sent it and the gift for when she started on the thank you cards. She worked for hours until it was time to meet her cousins at the restaurant in the Ally. Rose made a note where she left off before she made sure she ready to go.

Rose came through the fireplace of the Leaky Cauldron. She smiled at Hannah, who was behind the counter. Hannah smiled back. Rose went to the back and went into the Ally. The noise hit her as she made her way in the Ally. She saw Roxanne come out of the joke shop.

"Roxanne," Rose called out to her. Roxanne stopped and waited for Rose. Rose laced her arm through Roxanne's before they headed to the restaurant.

They came upon Kim's Café and saw that Vic and Dom were already there, getting a table for all seven of them. They hugged each other before finding seats and waiting for the others to come. It didn't take long for the others to show up.

Everyone broke into talking about what has been going on in their lives. This was something they started when Vic came from her first year at Hogwarts. They done this every summer holiday and winter holiday. It was a way to catch up with each other. Everyone was going down different paths. Rose always looked forward to this.

"So, Rose," There was a look in Dom's eyes. "How was your honeymoon?" They all knew that Rose and Scorpius were waiting until their wedding night to consummate their relationship.

Rose gave her look. "It was nice. Scorpius rented a house on the Mediterranean Sea. We spent time on a private beach. We also took a boat out on the sea. Spent a few days there."

There were moans around the table, they were all wondering if Scorpius was amazing lover and Rose didn't give them any details. "How is it now that you are home?" Roxanne asked. Roxanne gave Rose a look, like she knew what was going on with Rose and Scorpius. Rose wondered if Scorpius mention something Hector and Hector told Roxanne something.

"Good," She gave a smile, but no one believe it when they knew her better. "I need something to do during the day since I don't have to work," She gave a cocky smile. The other girls stuck their tongues out at her. She sighed. "I know that Scorpius wants me to follow my dreams, but I need something else to do."

"Have you thought about making a charity or joining one?" Lily asked. "You have money and power to do what you want. I have a feeling you could do some damage as Mrs. Rose Malfoy."

"That is an idea. I'll have to ask around. It would take some of my time but not all of it." Rose smiled.

The conversation turned to Roxanne's love life and what Hector and she are going to do when she goes for her last year at Hogwarts. The plates were soon cleared, and lunch was coming to an end. Lily, Lucy, and Roxanne were meeting some friends to go to school shopping. Molly had to get back to work. Rose followed them out and went to the apothecary shop that was down the Ally.

Rose entered the shop and went up to the shop keeper to get a pregnancy test potion. The shop keeper gave her a look before handing her the potion. Rose thanked her before she was ready to leave when the door opened. Vic and Dom entered the shop. Rose tried to hide but the shop was small and there was nowhere to hide.

Her cousins saw her right of way. They saw the brown paper bag that she was holding. They got a mischievous look in their eyes. "Rose, what are you doing here?" Dom asked.

She reached for Rose's bag, but Rose pulled it away from them. "I just need a potion."

The sisters looked between them and Rose wondered how much trouble they got in when they were younger. "Vic, why don't you get your potion and I'll wait outside with Rose." Vic nodded before walking around Rose to the counter. Rose followed Dom outside there was no way of getting out of it.

They didn't have to wait long before Vic showed up with her own paper bag. "You know as I was talking to the shopkeeper," Vic smiled when she saw them. They moved out of the way so a consumer could get in. "She said something about something being in the water." Vic gave Rose a look.

Rose sighed and looked between her cousins. She could tell that they won't leave her alone until she showed them what was in her bag. They could be such Weasleys sometimes. They could be so stubborn. She had to think about what potion Vic had. "Fine, at the count of three we show our potions." Both Vic and Dom smiled.

"One, two," Dom took that it was to be her to count. "Three." Vic and Rose pulled out their potions. They both had a pregnancy test potion. "So, Rose and Scorpius weren't just playing exploding snaps at their honeymoon," Dom smiled wickedly.

"Yes, I think that I might be pregnant," Rose put her potion back in her bag. She saw that Vic was doing the same thing. There was a happiness about Vic. Rose reached over and hugged her cousin. "I'm happy for you."

"Me, too. Our children will grow up together. They will be the best of friends." Vic laughed.

Rose was happy that her baby would have a playmate while growing up. "Does Teddy know?" She knew how Teddy wanted children.

"No, I want to make sure that I am before I do. I want it to be a surprise for him," Vic said. "Does Scorpius know?" Rose shook her head no. "We'll have to tell them and see who is more surprised."

"We will," Rose said. She didn't know how she was going to tell Scorpius when he was barely home.

Vic hugged her one more time like it was for encouragement. "Good luck," Rose told her the same thing.

Rose parted from her cousins. She decided to take a stop at the market before heading home to get something to make for a special dinner for her and Scorpius. When she got home, she wrote a note to Scorpius to be home at certain time. Even if she wasn't pregnant, they could enjoy a night together because she missed her husband.

She ran upstairs to their bathroom before reading the instructions on the bottle. There will be a glow around the person either green for positive or yellow for negative. Rose took a breath before she took the potion. She didn't have to wait long before there was a green glow around her middle. She was going to have a baby.

Rose wasn't that surprised because the marriage contract said that they would have a baby. She didn't think that it would be this soon. She placed a hand on her stomach and smiled, her baby was growing in there. She wondered if it was going to be a girl or boy. She knew that she would love whatever they have. She hoped that Scorpius would be happy about the baby. It might make him come home earlier.

Rose went downstairs and found an owl at the kitchen window. She wondered if it was from Scorpius telling her that he would be home at seven. She took the letter before feeding the owl a treat. Rose opened the note to find out that it was from Vic and she was telling Rose that she was going to have a baby. Rose was happy for her cousin. Rose found some paper and wrote back to Vic. She sent it back with the owl.

Rose worked on dinner, set the table for two with candles. She looked at the clock to see that she had time to take a quick shower. She put on a little green dress, she had to wonder how much longer she would be able to wear this. Rose made her way back downstairs and took out dinner. She let it cool while she made a salad for them. Five minutes to seven, she lit the candles. She placed the food on the table and watched the clock turn seven.

Rose sat at the table waiting for Scorpius. He didn't show up at seven fifteen. He didn't show up at seven thirty. Rose watched the clock turn eight, when an owl turned up. It was the same owl as before. Rose took a breath as she read Vic's words. Teddy was happy and couldn't wait until the baby was here. Rose had to wipe a tear from her eye because it seemed like her cousin's life was going great. Rose couldn't even get her husband home for a dinner. Rose didn't respond to the letter because she didn't how to sound happy when she was breaking inside.

Rose ate the cold food because she had a baby growing inside her. With a wave of her wand, she washed her dishes and put the food away. The candles had blown themselves out. She wrote Scorpius two words before heading upstairs. She took off her clothes and took a hot bath before crawling into bed where she finally let the tears fall.

Scorpius yawned as he came in his house. The lights were all off, he knew that Rose was in bed. He went to fridge to see what Rose had made for dinner. He saw what she made and put some on plate before heating it up. He took it to his spot of the table. He saw the candles that were at their end. It had him wondering what Rose had plan for tonight. There was a note by his spot in Rose's handwriting. There were only two words on it.

"I'm pregnant."

Scorpius dropped his plate on the table and ran upstairs. He went to the master bedroom and saw that the door was closed. He reached for the doorhandle to find out that it was locked. Rose never locked the door. He reached for his wand but found out that he had left it downstairs in his briefcase. "Rose," He knocked on the door. "Please open the door," He said to the door.

"No," It sound like she was crying. Scorpius felt his heart break.

"Is it true that you are pregnant," He leaned his head against the door.

"Yes, now please go away," She was hurting, and Scorpius didn't why.

"Rose," He said her name.

"Please go away, Scorpius." Rose voice was incredibly quiet. He wanted to say her name again he had never seen Rose this quiet before. He raised his hand, but let it fall away. He turned and went downstairs to the couch and the cold food waiting for him.
