Lauren – Park Press Conference – D.C. – Less Than 2 Months Later – Near Noon

"You look good up there with the president, D." Dyson smiled at me with his eyes since he couldn't talk. He was the closest to the president on the stage while she gave her speech about some new laws that will be put into place in the coming weeks.

"You good if I leave now to get to my monthly appointment? Since this is all but over now."

He gave a slight nod to my question. So, I walked off to the private jet that the president lets us use for our monthly visitations. I just hope the nice weather here is also in New York.

New York – Few Hours Later – Studio

Bo was supposed to have off for the whole weekend. But, they called her in at the last minute to reshoot some scenes. The good news is by the time I got there it look like she was just finishing up for the day.

Bo spotted me almost immediately with wide eyes and a dazzling smile of excitement as she came off the set. When she suddenly jumped into my arms, nearly making me fall over with joy as she caught me off guard before our lips met for a kiss. "Hi."

"Hi." I greeted right back as I snaked my arm around her waist, headed towards the exit. "How's your day going?" I asked as I looked behind us at Bo's temporary bodyguard while I'm away on this special assignment; giving Sarah a nod to let her know she's off the clock.

"Not bad, it was a pretty quick day. I'm sorry we had to meet here, instead of at home." I shook my head as we got into her car. "it's okay, I didn't mind using an Uber to get here and besides, we're closer to the airport."

"The airport?" I smiled at her confusion. "Don't worry, Vex will meet us at the airport to take care of your car."

"Okay…But, why are we going to the airport?" I quickly glanced in her direction with a small smile. "To get to our destination quicker…You like crabs, right?"

Over an Hour Later – Maryland

"Where are we? Who's house is this?"

"It belongs to Vex. He calls it his Fortress of Solitude because this area is secluded with a great scenery that you're about to see once we head inside and back out to the porch that has his boat that we can use and a great view of the water, of course. And it's ours for the weekend. His only condition was not to use his bedroom because he doesn't want to have to burn it down with bleach. So, we will have to make due with one of the guest bedrooms that he will probably burn down later."

Bo laughed before she really looked around her surroundings. "Wow…It's bigger than it looks from the outside."

"Yeah." I agreed as I looked around. This home has always been one of my favorites. One large room has completely open concept floor plan. Nearly half of the room was split into a kitchen/dining room and the other half that was split by two steps of stairs was the living room that had a brown 3 piece leather couch set with a 50 inch TV and a small fireplace not too far away from TV. And the other side of the living room had a small bathroom, along with the staircase that let upstairs to the bedrooms and another bathroom. The other side of the living room also held the entry to the porch that held a great view of the water with a few boats just sitting in the docks.

"Wow…The view is so beautiful…" She gasped again when we got onto the porch while I was happy to see that Tamsin came through and had our seafood feast all set up and on the table before we got there. Not that I ever doubt Tamsin coming through because she always comes through. Though, knowing her she barely came through on time. I'd even bet money that she probably got out of here a minute before we got here, which is actually great because that means everything should still be pretty hot.

Just as Bo took a seat at the table by the cooler of drinks next to the table my phone went off with the text from the devil that I was just talking about. "Hey, just so you know I just left Vex's after setting up your nice evening like 2 minutes ago. You owe me big and enjoy."

"Thanks T. We literally just got here so good timing. The jet is waiting to take you back home." I quickly sent my reply and put away my phone as I sat next to Bo.

"Who was that?"

"Tamsin. Don't worry, it's nothing important. I'm still all yours for the weekend."

Bo nodded as she started pulling the crabs out of the bag before she finally paused and looked at me again. She finally realized what I said after the second time I said it. "Wait, all weekend?"

I chuckled with a nod. "Yes, all weekend. I was wondering when you were going to catch on to that. The president thought that one day a month was not fair. So, every other month will be a whole weekend instead of just a day."

Bo had an ear to ear grin appear on her face before she lunged into my arms in utter happiness. "I knew there was a reason why I voted for that woman!"

I held her with a smile of my own before we got back to the feast before us.

"Yeah, me too. Now, come on, we have a lot of food to eat and a sunset will be along later for us to enjoy as well before you know it. We have crabs, oysters, shrimp, clams and there are all kinds of drinks in the cooler next to you. Vex, Tamsin and I love sitting out here just to grill food and eat and enjoy the scenery. Occasionally, we even do some fishing."

Bo didn't need to be told twice. She immediately started to dig into the crabs which I started on the shrimp. "Oh my God, I almost forgot how much I love seafood considering I haven't had any in awhile." She said with a slight moan before looking out at the waters.

"What a view…I can see why you guys like hanging out here a lot. It's beautiful here."

"I couldn't agree more…" I agreed, but I was agreeing to my view of her, not the waters with birds and boats. And she knew that, her reddening cheeks told me so.

"You're such a sweet talker." I chuckled, "Well, it's easy to be a sweet talker when you are my muse behind my words."

Her cheeks only got redder as I offered her a shrimp that I peeled just for her, dipped in some cocktail sauce. Bo accepted my offering in an seductive manner in my opinion, licking the bit of cocktail sauce off my finger as she took the shrimp.

I let her swallow before I stole a quick but lingering kiss. Bo smiled against my lips before she grabbed us both a can of Sprite from the cooler next to her. I took my can and opened it before we clinked our cans and took a drink.

"Mmm…Seriously couldn't have asked for a better day. Light breeze, calming waters, birds, seagulls, a couple ducks, a couple boats just sailing by every now and then. All topped off with seafood and my beautiful girlfriend right next to me to enjoy it with me."

"I'm glad we can enjoy all this together too. And with any luck it'll be Interruption free weekend."

Bo chuckled as she ate some clams. "You know we'll need a miracle for that right?"

I nodded as I couldn't quite speak with all the crab meat in my mouth. "…Yeah. Agreed."

.

"So…Bo, I've always wanted to ask but I kept forgetting to do so. Do you have an actual…home?"

Bo smiled with her own mouth full of food as she clearly had a picture in her mind. "I do. Trick and I kept the home that we both grew up in, in Virginia. It's in his name so it's not bothered as much my crazy fans. Our home on our small vineyard that was formerly Trick's dad's vineyard."

"Sounds like a nice place with a lot of fond memories."

"It is." She confirmed with an offering of a oyster with cocktail sauce. I smirked, "Trying to get in my pants already?"

Bo chuckled while I swallowed the delicacy. "Well, it's not my fault that oysters are both delicious and aphrodisiacs. Besides, just because I held it out for you to eat doesn't mean that you had to eat it but you did. So, you're as guilty as I am of your accusation. But, if I'm being honest, I always want you."

"I know the feeling." I answered as we seemed to get lost in each other's lustful eyes. Our staring contest got interrupted by the sounds coming from birds passing by. We both just chuckled and continued with our food and conversation.

A Good While Later

When we finished eating we cleaned up our mess and made our way to one of the lounge chairs on the porch just in time to watch the sunset with me as the big spoon. "Ugh…I'm so full. But the sunset is like looking at heaven with the pinkish-orange."

I chuckled, Bo was slurring her words, clearly in a food coma. "You're about to fall asleep."

It wasn't a question, she was already in prime sleep position with her head on my chest and her body just happily cocooned in my arms. "No I'm not, you are."

I laughed, she was clearly in food coma heaven. "Okay." Truth be told the combination of everything we just consumed, the light chirping of birds and the warm breeze was making me sleepy too.

"Lauren?" She yawned, "Yes Bo?"

"I don't want to fall asleep…"

"Why not?"

"Cause' I'm afraid that this is all a dream and you'll be gone tomorrow. So, I don't want this day to end."

I reassuringly kissed her forehead. "Shh…I promise, I'll be there tomorrow and we'll make another day like today, tomorrow."

"Good, or you're…you're…fire…" Yep, she was on her way out as she could barely talk anymore.

"Fired?" I offered, "Yeah…that, but not really. I love you so, soooo…much…"

I grinned, I love it when she says those words. "I love you too." I think she heard me. But I'm not too sure because I was about to succumb to sleep too.

So, I fell asleep with the girl I love in my arms and the happiness of knowing we'll continue this paradise weekend tomorrow and Sunday.
