Darkness. Shadows. Nothingness. Void. Despair. Destruction. The end. That was what he was. Everything that light wasn't. He had a name. Yami. The boy that had grown so fearsome. Powerful. Unstoppable. But it did not start out that way. He was once a normal boy. A boy with hopes, dreams, everything that someone should. But then, he found something. Something that was meant to be forever kept away until the time was right, if that time came at all. And he found it, along with her.
He scowled at the thought. Her name popped up in his head with an instant, and he whisked it away without a second thought. He hated it. He hated her. He had brought this fate upon himself, accidentally releasing the force that empowered him so much. She had ran, unable to help him. And he hated the fact that she wouldn't even remember him, should they meet face to face again. He wanted to see the look of pure fear and hatred and anger in her eyes towards him, her former friend. He wanted to see the outrage in her bright eyes, at the fact that he, who was once so innocent, had done such horrible things. He had corrupted many innocent people, killing even more. He felt no remorse for what he had done, but he knew that actions had consequences. And she would be that consequence. It was fate that she would stop him. And yet, he felt a flicker of defiance in his chest, then replaced with a feeling of fear. He was angry that he was afraid. Afraid of her, his old friend. Why should he be so afraid of her? Then, with a shiver, he remembered the prophecy. He remembered the role that she must play. But then, he heard a whisper in his ear. "You know it to be true, Yami." He shivered at the sound of the voice, hating the horrid feeling it gave him. It was a female speaking, but horribly distorted. Her voice was deep and dark, growly and horrible. It filled him to the brim with fear. "I only give you this power to serve my purpose. You've no need to fear that pathetic Angel and her little team of pests. Quit quivering like a scared child and make yourself useful. Send more of your strongest minions at her." Her voice was now a snarl, threatening and horrible. "Urgh, okay okay!" He snapped back, visibly frustrated. "Yukina."
At the sound of his powerful voice, a girl stepped forward. She was around the age of 14, yet one of the most dangerous people he had. She had long, dark green hair that was mixed with a sickly dark aqua, her eyes showing off both colors, one for each. She wore a sleeveless and strapless black and gray dress, starting gray and ending with black at the skirt, with a symbol on her chest, outlined in white. It was the Delta Rune, but it was different. The circle in the center was a broken heart, and the triangles were also broken hearts, both upside down and right side up. The wings looked demonic. She wore black tights, black flats, and black lipstick on her lips. Her skin was a very very pale white, barely touched by the sun. Yukina bowed. "I am at your service, Yami." "I command you. Seek out the Angel. Use your powers to kill her and the others." Yami commanded. "Yes, Yami." Yukina answered, and summoned a glaive. Her eyes glimmered in the faint light. "She will die. Victory or death."
