A turn to other people, focus on mainly Hyuga Susei and Inuzuka Keiru and read if open to alot of things.

As everyone was training and moving up in their ranks as shinobi and Kunoichi of Konoha, some were also growing in feelings for each other, as well. Hyuuga Susei was training at one of the many training grounds scattered around Konoha, while Keiru watched in awe of the grace, but forcefulness that was present in each move.

'Her clan is rather traditional, and my own is rather unconventional in how we do things…' She thought, with envy as she watched the other kunoichi move swiftly, yet gracefully.

'Maybe this will be a good idea..?' She thought, before transforming into a more masculine form of herself. Inuzuka Keiru changed her appearance to be like the other Inuzuka guys she seen, some of them she was related as siblings too. But, the main things she kept the same was the frame she had, and the name, simple things, but she did not want to be too different for her friend.

As the transformed appearance of, 'Kei', they walked up to the hyuga girl and started to talk, trying to not make the hyuuga activate their byakugan and discover the ruse either. Hyuga Susei was growing fond of the Inuzuka looking person, and she was enjoying their company, not sure whether she enjoyed their company as much as Keiru's or more than even her company as well.

After one day, Keiru undid her transformation and felt a slight exhilaration at making her friend feel so happy, but also a pinch of guilt that she was lying about who they were for her.

'I am doing this for her to like me.. But, we already like each other, don't we? Am I doing it for her to like me, her clan or both?' Keiru asked herself, not sure which was really the truth, but felt there was something tugging her to be close with Hyuga Susei.

"What have you always wanted to do?" Kei(ru) asked Susei, as they walked around the village, and enjoyed the warmth of the summer season around them.

"I always fancied myself a bit of a romantic... A bit of a match-maker." Hyuga Susei spoke with a tinge of mischief in her voice, as they kept walking, but with where the conversation was headed, Kei(ru) wondered if she got herself in over her head.

The idea was small, but it made Susei excited for she knew of the Uchiha boys that hung out with Shiori, her teammate, but there were others that seemed like good matches too.

"Akimichi Chaneko-san, come on." And another person being Yamanaka Inko, for they had similar interest of flowers and a few favorite foods. Which, may have been just them trying to appease Hyuga Susei's wishes of match making people and went along with it as team bonding on a deeper level.

Kei(ru) was sweatdropping as Susei started trying to ponder how to match up Shimura Kashi with another teammate at a later period in time.

The two spent the day having fun sleuthing a girlfriend for Kashi, while Kei(ru) tried to figure out a way to express their feelings for the determined Hyuga.

After that day, going into the evenin Keiru went back home and dispersed her transformation.

Giving a heavy sigh, "I like you… Susei…" Looking down at an image of her and the hyuuga together at a festival long ago, "How do I tell you?" She wondered, thick locks billowing around her head obscuring her view on occasion.

After a few weeks of playing the façade of Kei, with Susei, and enjoying a good time with her. Keiru was hoping to see Susei, hoping to tell the Hyuga girl how she felt for the other.

"Okay, I got to tell Susei, or I am living a lie!" Keiru spoke determined to tell Susei the truth and to find out whether the hyuga likes her as well, or if it was a dream full of hot air.

The day started rather normal for Susei, she met with the inuzuka called Kei, whom she was growing rather fond of, but could never quite shake how she missed seeing Keiru, her other friend who seemed to have just disappeared or been rather busy, too busy.

As the two walked through Konoha, Kei(ru) decided to take Susei through a small park that passed by the few training grounds their two teams sparred at in the past, a small trip down memory lane for the two of them.

Seeing the first training grounds where they started sparring against the other's team and feeling the other's skills out, and as they got more skillful, moved to other training grounds to change up the terrain and the grounds they sparred on to not be their usual. Even when it was pretty usual, regardless of whichever training grounds they went with.

Kei(ru) somewhere along the way, started to hold Susei's hand and hold a decent grip where it almost felt natural to do it. Susei did not mind it, but she was thinking about how she used to hold hands with Keiru when they had team bonding exercises as a group, and even when Shiori wore her gloves still wanted to hold hands because she was terrible at navigating her way.

"Kei-kun..." Susei spoke, not quite sure where she was going with her query, but also wondering why they were holding her hand. Keiru was trying to gain more confidence, closing her eyes as she played as a guy for a little while longer, hoping to indulge this dream for a short while and see if the dream could come true in another way.

"Kei-kun? Is everything okay, Kei-kun?" Susei asks after a little while longer, her brows furrowing, the clear pupils focused on the person near her, and worry marring her soft features, wondering what may be troubling this Inuzuka.

Suddenly, the transformation released, poofed away, revealing a slightly flushed and flustered Keiru Inuzuka holding the Hyuga Susei's hand. It was surprising for the Hyuga, but then Keiru looked at her dear friend, biting at their lip in what seemed as a nervous moment, then took the moment.

Keiru kissed Susei. Surprise, Elation, and shock, all bubbling and swirling around in both Kunoichi's beings. Keiru surprised she actually acted, but feeling a mix of shock and elation that Susei has not acted against her, hoping against hope that this ends well.

Hyuga Susei feeling surprised that it was Keiru all along, although she felt not too surprised by the name variation between the two either, more shocked that her close friend is kissing her and elation to have this happen, even if surprising.

"I can't hide who I am, Susei-chan, but I wish to be with you. I know that I was lying when transformed as a guy, but if you liked me as a guy more, I can do that." Keiru starts her slight speech, feeling determined to say her piece, even when it came out jumbled and felt warmth color her cheeks gradually more and more, "I will try to be the person you want me to be, if your clan lets me be with you too." She went further, and soon Susei wanted to stop her friend from going further on.

Susei stop close and kissed her friend to stop the rambling, which made the Inuzuka girl freeze and look at the Hyuga rather confused and quiet, "I like you for you, and nothing will change it." Susei started, giving her a smile and gripping the Inuzuka's hands tightly with her own, "I care about you, and if you were a guy or I was a guy, we would still want the best for each other. My clan is strict, but they have not shown much sway on my romantic interests as they do with the main branch family." The conversation soon died to less serious topics as they knew, even with the stress of a traditional companionship not as pressured, it may become an issue in the future and they needed to prepare for it.

Hey, This was a really far turn from Shiori and the drama of main story, but I had this in my head and variations of the same idea for a bit and really felt it would be cute for the two to be together.
