Innocent Feelings

Slow

Gohan was running late. He looked at his watch again and picked up his pace, wishing he wasn't in a crowded street so he could just rush past everyone without being noticed instead of the light jog he'd had to accommodate with. Even with his super speed, the sidewalks were just too packed with people and he couldn't risk bumping someone and hurting them.

Erasa was going on vacation with her family today, so he and most of her friends were coming to see her off. Videl had spent the night over with her since they wouldn't be seeing each other for a while, so she was already there. Everyone was most likely already there to be honest, after all he was nineteen minutes late.

In his defense, he'd been on his way, well on time, when a purse-snatcher had been running right at him. What had he been supposed to do, move aside and let the crook slip past him? The Great Saiyaman shall do no such thing – never should evil go unpunished on his watch!

Only this time he hadn't had the time to transform into his beloved alter-ego. Gohan had simply extended his leg and the thief tripped on it. Then he'd picked up the purse and given it to the out-of-breath girl running after the purse-snatcher, and they called the police. She had been most grateful – a little too grateful, as she wouldn't let him go without offering him some kind of reward, suggesting that she treat him to something to eat. Gohan had lost precious minutes assuring her he didn't need anything and was just happy to help, but she would have none of it. In the end, Gohan had given in and said he wouldn't mind being treated to ice cream. The red-haired girl had lit up, and they'd walked over to the ice cream truck parked on the street.

And then Gohan disappeared when she rummaged through her purse for her wallet. He'd wasted enough time as it was and couldn't afford to be any more delayed. No matter how good ice cream sounded on this hot summer day.

Finally, he arrived at the outdoor parking lot of Erasa's building where her parents' jetcopter was all set to take off.

"Sorry!" he heaved out, pretending to be out of breath – like anyone who'd run as much as he just had would've been. "So sorry, Erasa – there was this purse-snatcher and he was coming right at me so I tripped him and then the girl was so grateful she wanted to treat me to something and I couldn't get away so I accepted and then I ran off when she was looking elsewhere and it made me waste so much time and I'm so sorry I swear I left home on time!"

He'd blurted everything out in one breath and even managed to wind himself slightly. Everyone seemed to share a look – Erasa, Videl, Sharpner, Rubby, Paige, Binder, and a few other of their classmates who weren't still at Videl's beach house, as well as some other people Gohan didn't know and, of course, her parents. He was secretly glad Nevy hadn't come along with her cousin; her bad vibes were too unsettling, not to mention the other "feel" he'd picked up from her ki yesterday…

They all grinned and rolled their eyes, as if they were sharing some kind of inside joke he wasn't a part of. Gohan tilted his head.

"What? Did I miss something?"

"Was she, like, around our age maybe?" Erasa asked with a knowing smirk. "Was she blushing? Was she pretty?"

Gohan frowned in confusion. What kind of questions were these? And how did they have anything to do with his tardiness?

"I don't know?" he said, completely lost.

"Of course you don't," Sharpner rolled his eyes. The blond didn't seem to believe him for some reason.

"He really doesn't," Videl cut in with a shrug. "It's a wonder he's noticed me at all."

"What's your point anyway?" Gohan asked Erasa, growing more and more frustrated by their lack of answers, and maybe a little upset at his girlfriend's observation – however right she may be. Couldn't they just tell him what he'd missed? So he may be a little naive, and, okay, maybe a little gullible too, but what could he have not seen that seemed so obvious to them all?

"Well, if she insisted so much to treat you to something, it's probably because she thought you were cute," Erasa explained matter-of-factly.

"Which you are," Videl added with a smirk.

Gohan blinked. And blinked again. "Oh…"

It baffled him sometimes how easily some people – most people really – seemed to just… know this kind of stuff. How was he supposed to guess the girl had been interested in him when he never noticed anything standing out about the way she acted? Her being grateful that he'd helped catch the purse-snatcher hadn't felt out of place. Her insisting so much may have made him tilt his head, but Gohan just figured she'd had a lot of valuable possessions in her purse and was just that thankful.

His cheeks taking on the familiar warm glow, Gohan rubbed the back of his neck, not really knowing what to do with himself.

"Um, yeah, so… Anyway…"

They giggled and chuckled and snickered at him, which only made the poor naive boy blush more.

"Hey, I don't blame her," a brown-haired girl he didn't know winked at him. "I would've hit on you too."

"And face the consequences of Videl's wrath," Erasa giggled into her hand.

"Oh, so he's the guy who's snatched our big tomboy's heart? Makes sense," the girl said, nodding her head to herself.

"Gohan, that's Tess Phearin, my cousin," Erasa said, introducing the girl. She then motioned to the younger boy next to Tess. "That's Dash, her brother. He's thirteen."

"Hi," Gohan said simply with a friendly smile. He sure didn't mind the change of subject.

Erasa introduced him to the rest of her family, her parents, Tod and Mocam Nopit, her older sister Caten, her older brothers Sime and Conol, and then her aunt Nephy and her uncle Nimus, Tess and Dash's parents. The way they all acted with each other, joking and bantering and just being playful, it reminded Gohan of the gang, with Krillin and Bulma and Yamcha and everyone else, and it gave him a pleasant, warm feeling in his chest.

It must've been fun for Erasa growing up in such a big happy family. He was glad. And he felt closer to her too, knowing they had that in common.

"Well, it's nice and all meeting you Gohan, and seeing everyone and everything," Tod cut in, "but we really need to get going."

"I'm sorry I delayed you," Gohan apologized again. The man waved him off with a grin.

"It's fine, I'll just push on the accelerator."

"Oh no you won't," Mocam said sternly, putting one hand on her hip while using the other to point accusingly at her husband. "We've got plenty of time still and I don't need you to be reckless with so many people on board."

"You usually don't mind me being reckless," he said wriggling his eyebrows at her and making her flush instantly for some reason.

"Oh my god – let's just go!" she said, throwing her hands in the air.

Gohan watched the exchange with a thoughtful frown. From the amusement he could see on everyone else's face, the Son boy knew he was once again missing something. Why was it so easy for them when he had not the slightest idea what Erasa's dad could've meant?

Ah, well. So he wasn't good at picking up on these things. There were many other areas that he excelled at – sure, it didn't really feel nice to be the only one who didn't get what was going on, but hey, it wasn't the end of the world. He should just stick with the things he was good at, like learning and memorizing and science and saving people.

Erasa hugged each of her friends to say goodbye, taking extra time with her best friend of course. His turn came last, and he grinned sheepishly as he opened his arms. She laughed and hugged him tight, and Gohan closed his eyes for a moment, lulled by her bright and warm aura.

"Thanks for everything, Erasa," he said softly, only for her to hear. "Thanks for being my friend."

"It's my pleasure, Gohan," she giggled as she started to pull away. Before taking a step back, however, she got to her tip-toes and whispered in his ear, "Don't make Videl wait too long, okay? She's completely crazy about you."

His face flared up. Geez, did these two tell each other everything? He swallowed hard, the implications making him more than a little nervous. As she pulled back, Gohan simply nodded his head in response. Erasa gave him a wink and laughed on her way to the jetcopter as he got even redder.

"Bye everyone!" she called one last time before climbing in. Soon enough, the aircraft rose into the air; the family inside waved at the teens down below, and then they were off.

"What did she say to you?" Videl asked, coming up to him and taking his hand in hers. Gohan, who'd just started to cool down, flushed once again at the question.

"Nothing. Just teasing me about you." Which was one hundred percent true.

Videl chuckled. "Sounds like her." She let out a big sigh then. "Man, I'm going to miss her. It's going to be lonely not seeing Erasa every day."

Gohan cracked a smile. "I hope I can make you feel less lonely then."

She beamed at him. "If anyone can, it's definitely you."

"Oh, enough with the mushy lovey-dovey talk, you two" Sharpner complained, covering his face with his hand. "Can't you wait until you're alone? Or at least until I'm gone?"

Everyone laughed. Gohan grinned. "Sorry, Sharpner, I tend to forget we're not alone when I'm with Videl."

"Well, I can tell you one thing: seeing you two being all cheesy and corny with each other, that I will not miss!"

Gohan laughed along with their classmates. "I can't blame you!"

"Yeah, Gohan can be really corny," Videl agreed, giggling. "But that's how I like him."

"Yeah, you're no better than him," Sharpner rolled his eyes. Then he took a girly pose, his hands cupping his face, and mimicked her in a high-pitched voice, "'Oh, Gohan, if anyone can, it's definitely you!'" And he finished by batting his eyelashes.

"Shut up!" Videl sputtered, flushing in embarrassment. "I sound nothing like that!"

"You kinda do," Rubby grinned. "But it's cute."

"I do not!" Videl kept denying. She crossed her arms and pouted. Gohan couldn't help melting at the adorable sight.

"Just own it, Vivi, like I do," he said, his tone teasing. Videl blushed harder and looked away.

"I told you not to call me that…"

"I recall no such thing."

She glared at him. "Oh, you…"

Videl tried launching herself at him but Gohan got out of the way just in the nick of time. She started running after him, and he laughed as he kept dodging her catching him. In the end, he turned around and wrapped her in his arms, holding her tightly. She relaxed and sighed softly. He kissed the top of her head.

"You cheat."

He grinned wider. "You're too cute, I couldn't resist."

"You're so corny," she mumbled into his chest, tightening her arms around him.

"And I own it," Gohan chuckled.

"Dork."

"Yeah, I own that too. As long as I'm your dork."

Sharpner rolled his eyes at the lovesick couple while the rest of their friends collectively went aww at the scene.

"If y'all done being lame over there, how about we go grab something to eat while we're all here?"

ooOoo

When he came home later that day, Gohan was in the most excellent mood. He felt so lucky to have friends with whom he got along so well – friends his own age, that he'd made himself. As much as he loved his parents' friends, and as close as he was with Krillin and Bulma and Piccolo and everyone else, this was different. He liked that he could relate more to his classmates, that they were teenagers just like him, that it was so easy to open up to them without fear of being judged, because they were going through the same thing, or pretty close to it anyway. And it was just so much fun hanging out with them, they could joke around and tease each other playfully or even just talk for hours.

Gohan was hoping to hang out with them more over the summer. Sure, Videl would be busy training, but Gohan could always go pick her up. He didn't mind the commute – it wasn't like it took him that long to go from one place to another. He should definitely make more plans with his friends, and he was sure they would like that too.

Humming to himself, Gohan greeted his mother on his way to the stairs and went up to his room. Goten was playing outside, he could sense his ki, so this was the ideal time to get started on his summer homework. Goten tended to call him for any and no reason, and as adorable a distraction as his little brother could be, he needed to stay focused to do schoolwork.

He opened his laptop and turned it on, ready to get started. Gohan went online to check his notes and read them over quickly to refresh his memory. His preset tabs opened, and Gohan noticed on one of them that he had two unread emails. Figuring it wouldn't take long, he opened the tab and then clicked on the first email, which was his newspaper subscription updating him on today's events. He skimmed over it – nothing too joyful, as it was customary on the news. Sighing softly to himself, wishing he could do more to help the world, Gohan clicked on the next button and the second unread email opened.

It was from an unknown sender. Gohan frowned deeply as he read the short message. Break up with Mr. Satan's daughter or this goes viral. An image was attached to the email. Gohan moved the mouse icon over the folder and clicked on Download. The image opened moments later.

He blanched.

"What the…?"

His eyes wide in shock, Gohan gaped at the photo. Of him and Videl, in bed, at the beach house. Topless. The sheets covering them made it look they were naked underneath, even though they still had their underwear on.

Who…?

And then it dawned on him. Would she really go that far? Is it really her?

Nevy had feelings for Videl, and she hated him, that he knew. She'd been trying to create tensions between him and Videl from the moment he met her, and it was obvious that she wanted them to break up.

But this…

She was going too far.

Then again, could he really be sure it was her? There was no way to know one hundred percent, even though his gut was telling him Nevy was behind this despicable email. He narrowed his eyes as he read the address of the sender.

gohansucks

"Geez…" Gohan slumped his shoulders and heaved out a deep sigh. Whoever was behind this blackmail, whether it was Nevy or somebody else, sure hated him. And maybe he was wrong to assume the worse of Sharpner's cousin. Who knew who else hated him for dating Videl? Like those jocks who tried to intimidate him shortly after he and Videl got together, or even, whoever sent the photos of them kissing in the school hallway to that gossip magazine. Nevy may be a strong suspect, but she wasn't the only one who was jealous of him being Videl's boyfriend.

Whoever took these photos was on the beach trip, though, and that certainly shortened the list of suspects. Gohan leaned back in his desk chair and massaged his neck, closing his eyes and heaving out another sigh. Man, this sucked. What was he supposed to do now? Of course, breaking up was out of the question, but he couldn't let this photo to go viral – which it would, no doubt. It made it look like he and Videl had sex…

Ironic, considering they were both virgins. Although, they did come close to doing it a few times…

His face flushed as he saw flashes of him and Videl that very morning at the beach house. No doubt they would've gone all the way had Mr. Satan not come for a surprise visit and interrupted them at the most crucial moment. Gohan felt hot just thinking about it… That moment had truly felt perfect – waking up with Videl had simply been the most amazing feeling. If only they'd had just a little more time…

His body was heating up as he recalled it all. The way Videl had urged him to just take her, impatiently tugging at his boxers. The way her skin burned, the way her whole body trembled from his touch… Her intoxicating scent, her delicious lips, and her breasts, her waist, her hips, her thighs… The way she'd clenched around his fingers when he stroked her there

Gohan shook his head sharply. This was not the time to get aroused. Although, if the tent on his pants was any indication, it was already too late. He ran his hand through his hair and scratched the nape of his neck. Man, just what he needed…

He looked at his screen again, and despite the situation, a small smile curved his lips. They looked so peaceful, so happy and content, all cuddled up together. If the context had been different, this could've been a nice, private photo to own.

"Videl's so beautiful," he whispered to himself. He still had trouble coming to terms that this gorgeous goddess had fallen for him, somehow.

He winced at the ache in his pants. Dang, this wasn't going away, was it?

Gohan remembered Videl's touch, the night before that photo, when she'd given him his first orgasm. He supposed it was odd that he'd never felt the need to masturbate, like he was sure any other teenage boy did on a regular basis, but he just didn't, and without Videl, he never really got turned on before.

Maybe he should try to relieve himself for once. He figured he'd climaxed too quickly in her hands that night, and when the time came and they actually went all the way, Gohan wanted to last as long as possible and give Videl as much pleasure as he could. Maybe with practice, he could improve his sexual prowess…

Oh geez, what am I even thinking? I'm making myself blush…

But the teen sighed and got up. It felt weird to walk around with this thing sticking up. Why did he have to go and think about that morning with Videl, now of all times? He should be worrying about the person blackmailing him instead…But, no, now he was getting ready to masturbate like the crazed-hormonal teen he apparently was too.

Gohan quickly went to his door and pushed it until the soft click indicated it was closed. He wished he had a lock, but before today he'd never needed one. Extending his senses, the half-Saiyan was relieved that his mother was actually out of the house, probably hanging the laundry. He made sure to go lock up the window and drew the curtains shut.

Man, why was it so complicated and stressful? How did other guys his age manage to do it regularly without having a heart attack just thinking of getting caught? And they didn't even have his advantage of sensing ki that allowed him to detect when someone was close by.

Blushing profusely, he sat on the edge of his bed, his back to the door. He unbuckled his belt, then unzipped his pants, and let his hand slide under his boxers, grabbing his erection. He heaved out a breath, trying to relax, and closed his eyes. Gohan easily pictured the girl he so desperately loved as he started rubbing himself. He saw flashes of that morning, of the night before, of them fooling around at the beach, and all the other times they got so frustratingly close to losing themselves completely to lust and passion.

He saw her body, he smelled her hair, her skin, her arousal; Gohan licked his lips and imagined that he was kissing her. He pictured her hands around his sex and groaned her name at the delicious memory. Gosh, he wanted her so much…

He imagined himself entering her, the look on her face as he made love to her, her flushed skin, her heaving breasts, her moans and sighs of pleasure as he picked up the pace, grabbing her hips, kissing her neck, making her scream his name as he lost his mind loving her, again and again, thrusting harder, deeper, feeling her clench and quiver around him… warm, wet, slippery, and so deliciously tight…

His hips jerked and his semen squirted into his hand. Gohan panted and felt his body relax. He'd lasted a little longer than last time, but it still wasn't enough. He supposed that if he had done it with Videl that morning, he probably wouldn't have lasted that much longer either. As frustrated and disappointed as they had been when they had to stop in the middle of foreplay, perhaps it was for the best that they got interrupted… Gohan wanted Videl to feel good too, but she might not get to climax with him if he came too quickly, and he couldn't have that.

Gohan reached out for the tissue box on his night table with his clean hand and took a few, before wiping the white substance off himself. Well, he might as well take a shower while he was at it – he felt sticky and sweaty, and the hot day with the window closed wasn't helping. Gohan went to open it again and got out of his room to go to the bathroom and hop in the shower. And maybe he could, um, practice some more…

He would worry about the blackmailer later. Besides, it was the summer break – they wouldn't be able to know whether he broke up with Videl until school started again, so why ruin the holiday with unnecessary worries? He would just have to make sure to meet up with his friends away from prying eyes, and maybe just not bring Videl with him – she was supposed to be away at training anyway, and it could look suspicious if she just randomly showed up. Besides, she would need to focus on her training anyway, she probably wouldn't even have that much free time for him.

He still intended to go see her every day, even if that meant just standing by and watching her at it.

His thought process made him picture her working in a construction site, which he knew was part of the Turtle Way training routine – wearing only a tank top and shorts because of the heat, sweat glistening on her skin, her face flushed, her bangs sticking on her forehead… Then he saw her drinking from a water bottle, before splashing the refreshing liquid on her face, drops of water rolling down her throat, to her cleavage, between her breasts…

Yep, he really needed to get to that shower.

ooOoo

Videl had no idea what to expect, but one thing Gohan did tell her was that she would be taught the Turtle Way, and the girl was eager to get started. He had flown her to an island of about three hundred inhabitants and they had landed in front of a capsule house with pink painted walls and a red roof, and a sign that said Kame House.

She was bubbling with excitement.

Gohan smiled down at her and led her by the hand towards the front door. "Let's go introduce you to Krillin and his family." But as he was about to knock, Gohan suddenly paused before his fingers touched the door, looking as if he had just remembered something. A drop of sweat rolled down his temple as he added, "Just be sure to stay out of reach from Master Roshi, okay? He's the bald man with a long white beard."

"Uhh… sure, okay. But why?"

A faint blush pigmented his cheeks as Gohan scratched his hair awkwardly. "He's a bit… grabby with pretty girls."

"… You mean, he's a pervert?"

Gohan chuckled nervously. "I guess that's one way to put it. Just don't get too close to him and you'll be fine."

So one of the greatest martial arts teachers is a perverted old man… Fun, Videl thought, not quite sure what to make of this information.

"And make sure he doesn't try to watch you get undressed."

"Geez, would he really go that far?"

Gohan's face got serious. "Yes. Yes, he would."

The door opened before they could knock and a rather short man with black hair and no nose greeted them with a big grin. "What are you two doing standing on our porch when we're all waiting for you inside?"

"Hey Krillin," Gohan grinned back. "Good to see you. Videl, this is Krillin, my dad's best friend. Krillin, meet Videl, my girlfriend."

"Nice to meet you," Videl said with a respectful bow.

"Likewise," the short man replied with a warm smile. Videl instantly liked that guy. "Well, don't just stand there, come on in."

"Oohhh, very nice, Gohan – you've got great tastes in girls just like your dad," the bald, white-bearded old man wearing sunglasses slurred with a blush on his face, actually drooling as he walked over to them.

Perverted old man: identified, Videl joked to herself. He better not try to be grabby with me if he knows what's best for him. Former world's strongest man or not, Videl would beat him to a bloody pulp if he tried anything fishy on her.

Gohan extended his hand to stop the old man in his track, a deep frown blemishing his handsome features. "Stay back, Master Roshi," he said to him. "Please, don't try to grope my girlfriend."

Roshi stopped and pouted, shuffling his feet, his hands behind his – wait, was that a turtle shell? Taking the Turtle concept a little bit too seriously, wasn't he?

"You're no fun," he complained, kicking at nothing. "I'm old and gray, what else can bring me some joy in my shortening life?"

"You're immortal," Gohan reminded him. "And that's no excuse to act that way towards girls – any girl."

"You killjoy."

"Shut up you old pervert," a blonde woman said harshly, walking into the living room holding a little blonde girl's hand. "If you touch her I'll personally make sure you die a painful death."

The old pervert in question tried to brush her off, laughing nervously and waving her off. "Oh, I know you wouldn't really."

The beautiful blonde turned to Krillin with a pointed look. "See what I've got to deal with? I'm telling you, Krillin, we need to move out to our own place – especially before Marron grows up."

"Hey, now, I'm sure he would never–" Krillin started, only to be cut off mid-sentence.

"Hey! I would never do that to my sweet lil' cutie pie! She's like my granddaughter," Roshi protested in indignation.

The woman pursed her lips, clearly not convinced. "I'll be more at ease if you're not around her, nonetheless."

"I'm hurt, 18, I'm deeply hurt… That you'd think me capable of doing such a horrible thing to your adorable little girl that I love more than anything…"

What a drama queen, Videl thought in amusement. It felt like the man had a light spot on him as he dropped on the floor and raised his forearm to his forehead, like a true tragedian.

"Now, now, there's no need to make a scene," Krillin said with his hands up, trying to appease the tension, ever the conflict solver.

"Would it really be that much to ask that you treat Videl with the same respect?" Gohan asked tentatively.

Roshi was up the next second, like his dramatic act had never happened at all. He crossed his arms and his brow furrowed in deep thoughts, his foot tapping distractedly.

"Not even a little touch?" he asked, his voice full of hope, raising his head to Gohan. The half-Saiyan scowled – the nerve of that man! How dared he ask to grope the girl he loved! To his face!

"No! You're not allowed to touch her and you won't try to peep at her either – or do anything perverted to her! You don't want to see me angry, Master Roshi."

The perverted old man gulped audibly. He slumped his shoulders and sighed deeply, like he was asked to do the most unpleasant chore. "Fine…"

Gohan let out a breath, looking like a heavy weight was lifted off his shoulders. He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly. "Okay, good. Glad that's taken care of, at least."

"I think we should just move out," insisted the woman who was apparently named after a number. Did Roshi really call her 18? "Everybody will be more at ease that way, especially me." She went to sit on the floor around the table, pouring herself a drink.

"Now, now, 18," Krillin said. Was that really her name? Maybe it was just a nickname…? "There's no need to go that far. Roshi has been kind enough to let me stay with him for years, I'm not going to just abandon him out of the blue. He's not used to being alone anymore."

"He's got Turtle," 18 pointed out, drinking from the small ceramic cup. Videl figured it was alcohol, from the way she chugged it down. She barely winced when she swallowed. A tough lady, that one was, wasn't she? "Anyway, in case you haven't caught on, I'm 18," she said, looking at Videl. She poured herself another drink – was it sake maybe? There was some steam coming out of her cup. "You've met my husband Krillin, and the little girl playing obliviously over there," she pointed at the little blonde girl with brown eyes and no nose, playing with dolls in a corner, "is our daughter Marron. And that's the pervert. Never get too close, whatever he promises," she finished, before chugging down her second drink.

"Hey!" the pervert protested vehemently. He sure liked to overdramatize everything that one, didn't he? "I resent that! I said I wouldn't try anything on her and I'm a man of my word, thank you very much."

"Yeah, right."

"His name is Roshi," Gohan added, even though she already knew that.

"Also known as Kame Sennin, the Turtle Hermit, and the greatest martial arts master in the world," the man said, doing a low curtsey. "Pleased to meet you, beautiful flower."

Videl"s lips twitched; she forced down a snicker. What a ridiculous man. He was like a parody of himself.

"But I'll be the one to teach you the Turtle Way," Krillin cut in, smiling at her. "Roshi doesn't take new students."

"Oh, but I could make an exception for such a charming lady…"

Ugh, he was staring at her and drooling again, probably using his sunglasses to shamelessly undress her with his eyes. What a perv. Videl scowled.

"Yeah, no, I'm gonna pass," she said coldly, not amused anymore. "I would rather not have to watch over my shoulder all the time, thanks."

Roshi pouted and muttered to himself, "I said I wasn't going to try anything already, how many times will I have to repeat myself?"

"Yeah I still don't believe you," 18 commented, throwing the old man a dirty look before chugging down yet another drink.

The bald, bearded hermit turned swiftly to point dramatically at her with his staff. "How dare you badmouth the great Turtle Master!"

She rolled her icy-blue eyes. "Whatever, Turtle Pervert."

What an… odd group of people. Well, this summer break was certainly going to be interesting.

ooOoo

Nevy smirked. Did Gohan really think he could talk his way out of this? He had no other choice than to break up with Videl and he knew it.

The summer break wasn't the greatest timing, though, and she had no real way to know when he was going to break up with Videl. She was so impatient for school to start again – Gohan would be forced to admit defeat then. And Videl would be finally able to find herself a better match. Someone who suited her more, someone who was as cool as her.

Her plan was foolproof!

She looked at the screen again. Isn't there anything else I could do? Please, let's talk about this, Gohan's response read. What a dumbass. Videl would be so much better off without him.

No, she wrote as a reply. Break up with Videl or else. And she hit send.

She was borrowing a computer in the public library, so that it would be impossible to trace the email account she'd created especially for the blackmail back to her. Gohan should never know she was the one who was threatening him to post the suggestive photos of him and Videl. It was bad enough they'd even gotten that far in their relationship. Nevy shuddered in disgust. To think Videl had let that stupid dolt defile her…

Well, she comforted herself with the certainty that it would be over soon enough. Besides, Videl was supposed to go away for training, right? Gohan may have said he was going to visit, but he probably couldn't afford to stay over very long. They most likely wouldn't be seeing much of each other this summer either way.

And by the time school started again, their break-up would have to become official.

She got a new email. It was Gohan again. Why are you making me do this? What did I ever do to you?

You're not good enough for her, she wrote back. Videl deserves the best, and you're not even close to that.

Barely a few seconds later, a new email. But I love her, with all of my heart. And she loves me too.

She rolled her eyes. You wish, she thought, before typing her reply. You're young, you'll get over her. I will not say it again: break up with Videl or I'm posting the photo online. I've got more of these, too. Wanna see?

She hit send and grinned wider than ever. Nevy was bubbling with excitement. It was finally happening!

And soon, Videl would be free… The dyed blonde couldn't help blushing slightly as she thought of the beautiful crime fighter. She sighed dreamily, putting her elbow on the desk to support her head in her hand.

Ahh… Videl…

She got another email and lazily opened it. Was Gohan finally ready to give up on this ridiculous relationship?

Her eyes widened.
