[Epilogue]
"Hey kid, something feels off about this area"
"I agree" Bass added
"Well there's no other way around so we need to press on through." Geo said
As the group walked through the wave road they felt a pair of eyes on them.
"Hey! Whoever's watching us, come out!" Geo yelled
"Hmph, I do not need to show myself to you."
"Okay well, we are moving on through here so please dont bother us."
"Well this is my domain sooo... entertain me!"
"Huh?"
"The other space beings only meet up and show around often... cmon"
"We're kind of in a rush!"
"Where?"
"Huh?"
"Where are you in a rush to?"
"Earth"
"Okay, if you entertain me, I will take you straight to Earth."
"Are you faster?"
"Would I offer if I wasn't. Also, Earth is 6 months away from here, moving at the pace you guys are."
"6 months!"
"Yes so entertain me for a bit or walk all 6 months its your choice."
"Ugh... fine!"
"Well then here we go!" The being snapped its fingers and Geo and Bass heard it.
"Ahhh!"
The two were suddenly transported into a strange space.
"Hmm? What's this?"
"This is an illusion I made. I love watching people fight and you seem like you have some fights of your own. So I used my powers to create an illusion to make you fight against the 5 strongest things you ever have fought. Minus your companion, he was on the list to but I can't have you fight him, that would be rude." The mysterious being said
"So go out and find these enemies! I will be watching!"
With those last words the voice disappeared and faded away.
"Haaah... this is going to take some time..."
"Sighing won't get us anywhere kid, lets move."
"Ok!"
Geo and Bass navigated the twisted illusion and eventually came to a room, when they entered, they were transported to a decaying space ship.
"Kid, this is..."
"where we fought Andromeda " Geo finished the sentence
"Andromeda?" Bass asked
"One of the first big bads we fought, its an alien weapon that seeks to devour and destroy everything." Mega replied
"Its here!"
The grotesque machine levitated from below.
"ROAAAAAR"
"Let's go Bass."
"Roger."
Bass jumped back and rained bullets from above.
Megaman blasted the core with cannons and vulcans and the thing went down pretty quick.
"Huh?" Bass seemed shocked
"This was your 5th hardest?" He asked
"No get ready its entering stage 2."
The hands separated from its mouth and the true form was shown.
"This is still doable!" Geo used a Sword Card and slashed the core.
In response, the Andromeda Illusion got ready to fire a laser.
"Get ready to block!"
"LifeAura!" Bass yelled and an aura covered him and Megaman.
The laser blew away the aura and Andromeda was tired out.
"GregarFlame!" Bass unleashed one of his strongest attacks
"Vulcan X!" Geo used a strong battle chip
Needless to say, Andromeda instantly was destroyed.
"Very nice!"
The faceless figure clapped its hands.
"Very very nice! How did it feel to fight an old enemy?"
"Interesting, it wasn't that bad of a fight."
"That was fun to watch, since it only gets harder from here, it only gets more fun to observe!" The voice was giddy and disappeared once more.
Geo and Bass were transported back to the strange space.
"Well... on to the next battle..." Geo trudged on through the illusion
Back on Earth, after the 2nd week of Geo's death...
"Hey, you should finish up that album." A text from Sonia's manager popped up on her Hunter.
Sonia ignored it and went back down.
"(She is never going to go anywhere, I need some help)" Lyra disappeared from Sonia's Hunter and moved to Luna's place.
"Hey!" Lyra popped up on Luna's Hunter.
"Ahh! You scared me. What is it?"
"I need you guys to get Sonia to WBG Studios."
"It's pointless she isn't going to come out..."
"As her friend shouldn't you keep trying?" Lyra responded
"Fine..."
"I can help in case she refuses..." Solo said
"Good, let's go" Luna set out to convince her friend once more
"*Ding dong"
"...What is it?"
"Your wizard asked us to take you to WBG Studios"
"I dont want to."
"Sonia... would Geo want you moping around?"
"Tsk..." Sonia grabbed her guitar.
"Fine, lets go..."
Luna and Solo took Sonia to WBG Studios.
"C'mon, go on." Luna pushed Sonia into her room so she changed back.
"Ugh..." Sonia still was very obviously not in the mood.
After a bit, Sonia and Luna came out and re met up with Solo. Of course, every time they came to WBG that idiot was there...
"Different friends today? I dont see your lover around, he dump you or something" Charlie said
Sonia was clearly not in a clear state of mind and this idiot keeps pressing her buttons.
"...I see your guards aren't with you right now."
"Yes, yours aren't either." He replied
As soon as he stopped speaking Sonia attacked him.
"Ah! Stop! Stop! You crazy!"
"Sonia stop!" Luna and Solo pulled her off him
"...If I hear you talk about him one more time or mention this to anyone else... you may find yourself in a ditch dead soon." Sonia threatened him
Charlie got the feeling that what she was saying weren't empty words...
"Yes ma'am sorry!" He ran off
"Sonia? Are you alright?"
"...I'm fine." Sonia went to greet her manager.
"Sonia! How have you... been?"
"Just great now lets finish this damn thing"
"...(I should not have bothered her)" The manager was regretting her decisions
Sonia recorded one more song to the album. It was a sad and slow song, very different from her normal songs.
"...Well that is a very heart wrenching song, one more song and you should be able to finish this up." The manager was surprised by Sonia's change however this wasn't exactly a bad song.
"Thanks... I am going to talk to someone then leave, have a good day." Sonia left the room and Luna and Solo followed.
Sonia took a bit to find him but she found who she was looking for.
"...Chief"
"Sonia!... How have you been?"
"Good...ahem... how are you feeling...after the trial and all that?"
"Well... a bit shocked to be honest heh..."
"My daughter who I thought was dead magically reappears and supposedly tried to destroy the world?"
"I... have to accept it... it is what it is."
Queen was charged with many crimes however one of the major ones was manslaughter, as she had killed a certain someone.
"Accepting it huh?" Sonia looked at the ceiling
"You know... I went to see her, and she seemed pretty sad."
"Probably because she screwed up." Solo said
"Yes, regret was among her emotions, however she said her eyes were opened by one of her enemies actions...by Megaman's."
Sonia teared up a bit hearing that name.
"So your friend... is he really gone?"
"...*sniff...yes..."
"..."
Luna and Solo stepped outside the room and left the two alone.
"Sonia... I..."
"Its okay... just because its your daughter doesnt mean its your fault." Sonia said
"..."
"I just feel... empty... I can't find a purpose anymore... I just want to fall asleep and pray one day... he'll be next to me again..."
"That Visor and Pendant... those were his right?"
"Yes... its all we have left of him..."
"...Can you tell me more?"
Sonia went over the story slowly and with some breaks in between while the Chief listened.
"That kid... he really is a hero..."
"I don't want him to be a hero...*hic... I want him to be alive..." Sonia continued to cry
"...Sonia!"
"Yes?"
"He is only dead when you forget about him. If you truly want him to live on he can live on inside here" He pointed to her heart
"Live on! Remember him! Maybe you're right... maybe he will he back however! Live on so that one day that miracle can happen!"
"..."
"At least... that's what an old man like me thinks"
"You...you're right!" Sonia stood up
"I have to continue on! If I give up now, I will never see him again! As long as I'm alive, one day... one day! He may be back!"
"Feeling better?" Chief asked
"Yes. Thank you!" Sonia walked out the room, with a bit more pip in her step than before.
"There she goes..."
Geo and Bass made it to the next obstacle.
"This is..."
"The Mu Continent... or at least an illusion of it..."
"That means... Le Mu is the boss this time."
"Yes... let's go"
Le Mu was always a painful fight in Geo's memory. If it wasn't for the fact that Tribe King existed he would have had a really tough time, thus, with only his base form... defeating Le Mu was annoying.
"Why does it keep going invincible!" Bass asked
"That's just how it is now deal with it."
Le Mu kept summoning Mu phantoms to attack and opened holes in the ground to attack Bass and Geo.
"Don't step in those, they'll trap you!" Geo yelled
"I wasn't intending to!" Bass floated up and summoned Black Discs to attack Le Mu.
"God dammit it was invincibile" Bass cursed
"Attack when the eye is open!"
"I can see that but my discs aren't instantaneous!"
"Haaaah..." Geo sighed and put a well timed Great Axe slash through Le Mu's core.
"I countered it! Its stunned! Do it Bass!"
"GregarFlame!" Flames shot out of Bass' arms and Le Mu was defeated.
"*clap *clap Very nice once again. Seeing you guys get annoyed at the invincibility was very funny. "
"I'm glad you enjoyed it."
"Now, let's move on to the next one"
"*snap"
"This is..."
"My most important battle" They were in Meteor G
"You think we can noise change?" Mega asked
"No. I don't feel the noise."
"Why is this your most important battle?" Bass asked
"Its the one... where I met my dad and saved him."
"I see..."
"ROAR!"
"Here it is... the Crimson Dragon!"
"Its head is blocking its core!" Bass yelled
"I can see that, just wait, it will eventually split into two!"
"Huh? Split what into two?"
"The head! There it is!"
The Dragon split its head in two and exposed its core.
"Flame Sword!" Geo slashed the core
"Annihilation!" Bass' Dark rings attacked the core
"ROAAAR!"
"Oh, its pissed now!"
The two heads reared back and they pulled off their devastating move.
"Bass watch out that head is going to!"
"Agh!" Bass got clipped by the noise beam from where the Dragon's head was.
"I'll finish this! Battle Card Millikick!" Geo unleashed a barrage of kicks on the core and Crimson Dragon was defeated.
"Wow. That was pretty good! It seems your partner won't be able to participate in the next battles though..."
"Its fine, I beat these guys by myself initially anyways, its easier with Bass around but not impossible without."
"Good good! Now, I see that its this guy... ugh I hated him"
"Hm?"
SNAP!
Geo and Bass were now in the black hole.
"Sirius is next..."
"Hated that dude" Mega added
"I do too, tried to make Solo endlessly fight with me... what an annoyance."
Geo attacked Sirius and Sirius put up his walls.
"Just like last time..."
The battle went on and even without Noise power ups, Geo was still victorious.
"It was so satisfying watch you beat Sirius up" The being said
"Hmm?"
"He always was a horder, trying to collect everything in his stupid black hole. When you find something nice, you use it, and then move on... not saying I'm using you guys! I mean I am but you're getting rewar-"
"I get it... you're maturer and nice while Sirius is a child and arrogant."
"Yeah!"
"Anyways for your last battle... it's this!" A mirror appeared in front of Geo.
"Logically, if yoy already beat all these guys, then the strongest one is you! So! the best opponent fir you is yourself!"
"Hmm... okay!" Geo faced the mirror and his reflection stepped out of it.
"This is something I picked up from a certain someone... he's coming by so I have to return it soon! Make this worth it!"
Geo began the battle against himself.
"This reflection is... tough!"
The mirrored version of Geo was equally matched in strength... it also knew everything Geo was going to do and Geo knew everything the enemy would do.
"I have to surpass myself to beat this thing!" Geo thought
"*Slash!" The reflection tried to cut Geo.
Geo of course saw that coming and blocked with his sword and kicked the fake away.
"How can I go beyond...?" Geo thought as he was in battle
"He knows what I think before an attack soo..." Geo closed his eyes
"Kid what!?" Mega saw Geo close his eyes
"*whiff!" Geo dodged the attack barely
"Kid you're getting lucky!" Geo continued to keep his eyes closed
"*whiff! *whiff! *whiff!" Mega realized the it was no longer just luck... Geo had figured something out.
Eventually after dodging so much Geo used his sword and...
"Slash!"
Instantly defeated his enemy!
"*haaaaaa haaaaa haaaa" Geo was breathing hard
"That was very very impressive! It seems you have achieved some new level of power."
"No... I could only use it because it was against me... however if i trained it..."
"Well... those were your five toughest enemies so I have to keep up my end of the deal! I was very entertained... here!" The being grabbed Geo's arm and something popped up
"Regulus added to Contacts!"
"Huh!?"
"Swing by sometimes it gets boring up here!"
"I live 6 months away?"
"Dont worry just contact me and I'll be there in a jiffy!" Regulus said
"Ahem..." Bass spoke up
"Geo, you want to head back right?"
"Yeah! Sonia's waiting!"
"Ok, its been a while since I used this thing."
"Where do you want to land?"
"Next to Sonia."
"Thats hard but I'll try to... does she have anything that makes her a beacon?"
"Yes... my pendant has a special wavelength... blah blah blah blah" Geo went on about how to locate her
"Okay next to her right!"
"Yes!"
"Ok here we go WEEEEEE!" Regulus, Geo, and Bass all got onto the platform and were sent flying... supposedly in the direction of Earth.
That day, back on Earth...
Everyone was standing on the school roof.
Ace, Tia, their kid, and Jack were there.
Luna, Solo, Bud, and Zack were there.
Geo's family was there and Sonia.
A few others were also there, Heartless, Aaron, and Tom were among the others...
"This isn't a funeral... however we need to put some closure... for our son" Kelvin said solemnly
"Everyone here already knows what he did however lets simply recap and remember him..." Hope added
"Geo... was a good friend for us three, he helped us with our homework... he hanged out with us... and he even saved us." Luna said, Bud and Zack nodded in agreement
"He was a rival to me after being my enemy... he really opened my eyes to become a better person" Solo said
"That kid... did a lot for us back then and he did now, he takes a burden none of us could bear..." Ace said
"Our son... was, a good kid, he always did the right thing like how we taught him too... maybe thats where we went wrong. But, as his parents we are proud to have had such a brave son..." Kelvin trailed off at the end, omitting, I wish he was still alive.
"Geo is... Geo is..." It was Sonia's turn
"Look!" Caeli pointed at the sky
"Its a shooting star? Wait... its getting closer!" Kelvin looked up also
"Make way!!!!" A familiar voice resounded
"No way! It can't be!"
The shooting star had landed and a human came from the smoke.
"Sorry! I should have taken a left instead of a right turn!" Geo decided to crack a joke as his first line back on Earth.
"Geo you!" Sonia walked up
"Huh? Sonia take it easy haha... Sonia? Sonia!" Geo backed away from Sonia
"You! You idiot!" Sonia hugged Geo.
"...Yeah... I was a fool..."
"Uhh...Sonia?"
"We all thought you were dead!" Luna shouted
"Wha-? I mean I did die I guess."
"Huh?" Kelvin and Hope perked up
"If it wasn't for the AM Guardians! I would still be space dust now! Hahahaha!" Geo laughed fondly
"How can you laugh so lightly..." Ace said
"Ace shut up you died too and you joke about it to this day."
"...my brother band didn't dissapear at least..."
"Well uh... why was everyone up here?"
"We were mourning for you." Solo replied
"You were mourning for me! I'm so touched!" Geo said sarcasticly to Solo.
"Well uh... Sonia you gonna let go?"
"No!"
"Sighhhhh" Geo shook his head
"You made us all sad for 3 weeks, I think you can deal with this as your punishment" Hope said
"Yes mother..."
"Well I'm back! Also uh... you guys have food right..." Geo's stomach growled
"There is always food at home." Hope smiled
"Lets go!"
Everyone marched off to Geo's house. The sad sad day, had turned into a very joyous one.
"Sonia pleaseee let go..." Geo was trying to eat
"No!"
"Ughh..." Geo groaned silently
"Sonia. Geo won't be healthy if he can't eat you don't want that right?" Hope said
"Hmph..." Sonia pouted and deattached from Geo and sat next to him.
Everyone was celebrating and doing all sorts of wacky things. Geo was busy stuffing his face with food.
"Ahhhh being alive is so nice!" He yelled
Sonia was eating too but maintaining her gaze upon Geo. Worried that if she looked away he would be gone.
Kelvin, Hope, and the other adults were drinking it up.
"~Geooo you should try someee" Ace walked over with a drink
"Haha... no thanks"
"C'monn sonnn, you're a mannn noww! You can get away withh beinngg a littlee more maturee!" Kelvin said
Geo looked at his mom who was straight passed out. He then looked at Tia to try and get her husband away from him. She seemed completely sober and just ignored his gaze.
"(I wonder if that's how Ace had a kid)" Geo thought silently
"Fine fine... but only a little!" Geo said as he took a shot.
"*cough *cough BITTER!"
"One moreee?"
"No... you adults are being irresponsible..." Geo walked away and reunited with his friends... not before Sonia relatched to his arm.
"Luna, guys, whats up!"
"Nothing just playing Super Ultra Duper Fighting Bros Deluxe. While you were dead they released a new character look!"
On the screen Geo saw a chibi version of his Megaman form...
"Alright which one of you commisioned this"
"I did!" Kazuma once again appeared from nowhere.
"Kazuma?"
"Sorry I was late... i didnt realize that it was a party but now i see why! Its good to see you back!" Kazuma shaked Geo's hand
"Huh... anyways you commissioned this?"
"Don't you know? I'm one of the lead designers! Look here!" Kazuma pointed to the credits and sure enough, his name was on there.
"Wow!"
"Anyways, Hub said he sensed a familiar energy. Was it you?"
"I think he was talking about him, Bass come out!"
Hearing that name made everyone turn to Geo.
"What?"
Bass appeared from Geo's hunter.
"I'm sorry for the trouble I caused"
"Bass apologizing! Every day is a new one huh?" Hub popped out to.
"Megaman you!"
"Huh?"
"He's talking to me. It's good to see you back to yourself Bass."
"Yes it is... lets fight later!" He said while smiling
"Of course! Not right now though." Hub disappeared back into the Hunter
"Its on!" Bass disappeared also back into Geo's hunter.
"Why... is he.. alive!?" Sonia was fuming
"Okay, well this is a long story so sit down."
Geo recapped all the events that had occured, except the Heaven events as he could not speak about them, a force prevented him from.
"And thats how I'm here!"
"Wow... thats crazy."
"I know right! It is what it is though!"
The party continued on and Geo and Sonia said they needed to step out.
"We're gonna go somewhere real quick! Have fun!"
Geo and Sonia went to the roof of Echo Ridge's school.
Luna, Solo, Bud, Kazuma, Jack and Zack, secretly trailed them too.
"We'll leave you two alone" Lyra pulled Mega out of the Hunter and Bass followed.
"Geo... Here" Sonia handed over his Visor and Necklace.
"Thanks for holding onto these." Geo put them back on
"You know they looked good on you too!" He said
"Thanks... you know I really felt lost without you..." Sonia changed her tone
"..." Geo fixed his facial expression
"I couldn't move on or do anything... even if I did get past losing you, I could never find anyone else like that..."
"(That was like me when I lost dad...)"
"However you're back now and I feel happier than ever!"
"So please... stay with me..." She said softly
Geo looked at Sonia and smiled.
"You know someone in space gave me some advice, I think I'll take their word."
"What do yo-mmpH!"
Geo and Sonia kissed. However this time, for once, Geo actually initiated it!
"He finally grew a pair" Jack whispered
"Finally thank god" Luna whispered
"I really thought he was gonna not do anything" Solo said
"Looks like you owe me Solo" Luna replied
"Dammit, why did I bet against anyways?"
"Shh"
After a short bit Geo pulled away.
"You know... he told me I shouldn't keep you waiting in multiple ways...so Sonia, I love you." Geo said while looking at her
"*Fsssssh" Geo could swear he heard steam coming from Sonia's ears and she fainted.
"Ehhh? Sonia! Sonia?"
"Looks like she has no defense..." Luna said
"It appears that way" Zack replied
Sonia was probably at her lowest point in life and her affection meter was at the lowest of the low. However, Geo came by and not only kissed but confessed, needless to say, she couldn't handle the spontaneous amounts of affection coming her way even though she does the same to Geo all the time.
Geo picked up Sonia on his back and started walking back.
"Nyehehehehe" Sonia was muttering in her sleep
"Looks like she's having a nice dream." Geo commented
Geo looked at the stars...
"Another enemy, I need to be ready however..."
He looked over his shoulder at Sonia
"I need to spend some time being a human again and..."
Geo looked at the group of friends tailing him.
"I'm not alone!"

[Author Note: Well uh, I didnt think that when I made post story that the gimmick would be jncredibly short soo.. small oversight... Anyways just like it said, there is another enemy approaching... who is it? Well we're going down the Battle Network Road so you guess. I want to do side stories but to be fair there isnt many side developments in this fanfic... sorry. Ill probably move on now to a starforce 5 or do this funny wacky short for the starforce series. Who knows. I started this in January to help me sleep better because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and I cut off the story here. It simply is like a game plot, on average Star force has 6-8 bosses than the final and post game. I did what I wanted with this villain and started out my concept.
