This is the chapter where we announce Bekah's pregnancy with the twins, Holly Marie, and Phillip Charles.
It was a nice April day in 1997. Well, nice for everyone but Rebekah O'Reilly. She'd been sick for a few weeks at that point and had missed a menstrual cycle.
"Bekah, you need to call your doctor." Gabby insisted as Finian had told her to watch over Bekah as Della had Perry and Elena that day.
"Gabby, you're right. Hand me a phone." Bekah sighed as Gabby handed the nearest phone to her as Bekah was able to get an appointment for later that afternoon.
Once they got to the doctor's office and tests were run and an ultrasound was being performed,
"Huh." The technician said as Gabby and Bekah looked to each other,
"'Huh', what?" The technician turned the screen around as Bekah and Gabby gasped happily. There were two babies. Not one.
"Oh my god! Twins, Bekah. Finn's going to be so happy!" Gabby giggled as Bekah began to cry happily.
"When are they due?" Bekah asked voice shaking happily as the doctor came in with a beaming smile,
"Around Christmas." Both women giggled as they were clearly excited over the fact that Bekah was pregnant again, plus the fact that it was twins, and that they were due on Christmas.
"Momma?" Bekah said once Della picked up her phone,
"Yes, sweet girl?" Bekah smiled,
"Can you bring Perry and 'Lena home? I've got some good news." Della nodded and hung up and once Della and the kids were home.
"I'm pregnant again, Momma!" Della laughed and hugged Bekah,
"I'm so happy for you and Finn!" Bekah smiled even brighter as she broke the other good news.
"There's more. It's twins and they're due around Christmas." Della smiled brightly and laughed with Bekah and Gabby.
Once Finian, Ken, Paul Jr got home and were told the wonderful news; it was all hugs and laughter.
Bekah was feeling beyond blessed to have such wonderful, and supportive family and friends. But there was an undercurrent of missing her Daddy, how Perry would've been elated to hear about the twins.
Della could sense that but decided not to have that conversation yet.
That's the end!
