Episode 26: Lords of the Ring Toss

Jonesy: Last time, on The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover! Our teams made their way into the Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy Universe, where they were tasked with making a scam or service in which they'd need a sufficient amount of green. Then it was an Either Or challenge involving junk food. Why are jawbreakers so big in this universe? In the end, the Rockers claimed a 1st place finish, and because they couldn't resist gorging themselves, the Mystery Solvers were eliminated. The fact that they made it this far is kind of a shock, actually. Where will we go, and what do we have instore? Find out now on, The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover.

Cue Theme Song

Jonesy: We're back in the Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy Universe. Last week's winners will be the first team to collect their next tip. And that team is the Rockers. (Luna & Sam Sharp step onto the mat, ready to begin the challenge) Ready? Go.

Luna & Sam Sharp step up to the Don Box, pressed the button on top, and received their next tip.

Sam Sharp: (reading the tip) Get into one of the Dimension Cars and proceed towards your next destination. (to Luna) Let's go, Luna.

Luna: (raising the goats) Whoop! Whoop!

As the Rockers enter one of the Dimension Cars, more teams step up to the Don Box, collect their tips, and enter the Dimension Cars. Once all the teams have entered the Dimension Cars, they enter the portal and proceed towards their next destination.

Jonesy: Car #1 contains the Rockers, Scammers, Stepbrothers, and Uncle & Niece; Car #2 contains the Cowboys and the Big Guns.

Scene switches to Car #1 where we see Uncle & Niece cautiously approaching the Rockers & Scammers.

Sam: Luna, Sam Sharp, Ed, Eddy. We need to tell you guys something. (they look intrigued)

Jerry: We're comfortable with revealing this information so here it is. We're spies. (the Rockers and Scammers appear shocked)

Luna: What?

Sam: Myself, Alex, Clover, & Jerry work for an organization known as W.O.O.H.P.: The World Organization Of Human Protection. We've been working there for… what seems like years now.

Jerry: I've been the leader for over 40 years. It's quite amazing really.

Sam Sharp: Wow. Why tell all this now?

Sam: Because we feel it necessary not to have secrets among us.

Luna: Cool. I dig that. It must be pretty sweet to work under your uncle.

Sam: Actually, he's just my boss. He's not my uncle. That was just a cover. Now, I need to caution you not to reveal our secret to anyone, especially our relatives.

Luna: Don't worry. (mimes sealing her lips, locking her lips, rolling down a car window, tossing the key out of it, and rolling it back up) That was a car window.

Sam: I got that. (to Sam Sharp, Eddy, & Ed) What about you three?

Sam Sharp: Your secret is safe with me.

Eddy: It's not like anyone would believe me.

Ed: (wearing earmuffs) I have no idea what you just said. (Sam looks confused)

Sam: Care to explain.

Eddy: He can't keep a secret to save my life, so I had to take precautions. Don't, he won't reveal anything to anyone.

Jerry: Splendid.

Jonesy: As the Spies reveal their true identities, the teams have arrived at their next destination. And just to let you folks at home

Scene shows the cars exiting the portal. When they land, they begin sliding across a white surface, spinning the cars wildly out of control, causing some of the teams to scream for their lives, until the cars crash into a snowbank, causing some of the snow to fall on top of the cars. When the teams get out of the cars, they immediately begin shivering due to the cold climate as they observe their surroundings.

Ashe: W-W-Where a-are we?

Phineas: (looking around) I-I'm n-no e-expert, b-but I t-think w-we're in t-the A-Arctic C-Circle.

[Place Description]
Jonesy: Phineas is correct. Welcome to the Arctic Circle. Home to the world's harshest climates, the whitest animals, and favorite story book characters. (exits a winter store, now wearing a parka, and stands next to the Don Box) Now that the teams have arrived, they'll find the next Don Box located next to this winter store, which they'll be allowed to shop in, to buy the necessary items to survive in this harsh climate. And as an extra bonus, there's a Boomerang up for grabs, so if a team gets, they'll have to use it wisely.
[End Description]

Scene shows the teams running past the Don Box into the winter shop. After a few minutes of shopping, the teams, now wearing their winter clothes from their respective shows, exit the shop. They then proceed towards the Don Box.

Soldier: (collects a tip from the Don Box and sees it's a Boomerang. He then whispers this fact to Heavy) Check it, Heavy. We got a Boomerang.

Heavy: Alright! Now what does the tip say?

Soldier: (reading the tip) It's a Botch or Watch. Narwhal Ring Toss? What's a Narwhal?

Jonesy: A Narwhal is a medium-sized toothed whale that possesses a large "tusk" from a protruding canine tooth. P.S. I had to look it up as well to find out what a narwhal was. For this Botch or Watch challenge, whoever didn't perform the movie skit must dig in the snow and look for a hoop. (pulls a hoop out of the snow) Once they've found a hoop, they must try to toss it onto the tusk of a Narwhal. (a narwhal pops out of the water, and Jonesy throws his hoop onto the tusk. Scene switches over to Jonesy standing in front of some snowmobiles) Once they complete the task, teams must drive one of these snowmobiles east until they find the next Don Box. (stands in front of the next Don Box) This'll be the last chance a team can use the Boomerang, and send a team back to complete the last challenge.

Scene shows the team members participating in the challenge digging in the snow, looking for hoops. The team members participating in the challenge are Ashe, Ed, Ferb, Sam, Sam Sharp, & Soldier, with Ed particularly enjoying the challenge.

Ed: Dig a hole, dig a hole, dig a hole, dig a hole… (continues saying this while digging)

Heavy: (to Eddy) Does he always do this?

Eddy: You have no idea.

An explosion is then heard and we see a big hole in the snow, where Soldier used one of his missiles to blow it up. He then looks around and sees there are a bunch of hoops in the vicinity of his blast.

Soldier: Yahoo! I've hit the jackpot! (he then sees the snow cracking and Ed comes bursting out of the hole)

Ed: (noticing a hoop next to him) Yeah! I found a hoop. (proceeds to leave the way he came in, leaving Soldier confused)

Soldier: Okay. (composing himself) Who wants some hoops?

The other team members participating in the challenge make their way towards the hole and began collecting hoops. They then proceed to begin the challenge.

Soldier: (tosses all his rings into the water, with only one of them managing to land on the tusk of a narwhal) Yes! (to Heavy) Let's go!

Heavy: Right! (him and Soldier proceed to get onto a snowmobile and proceed east)

Not long after they've left, the rest of the teams manage to complete the challenge, some by good aim (Ashe, Phineas, & Sam), others by sheer luck (Ed & Sam Sharp). They all complete the challenge, get onto snowmobiles, and proceed east. Scene switches to the Big Guns arriving at the Don Box.

Heavy: Alright! 1st place! (about to collect a tip when he's stopped by Soldier)

Soldier: Wait! Before we collect our tip, let's wait until one of the leading teams arrive and use the Boomerang on them

Heavy: Alright. But who exactly should we Boomerang?

Soldier: Definitely not the Scammers or the Rockers, they'll be easy to get rid of. The Cowboys aren't a huge threat, even if they are skilled. That just leaves Uncle & Niece and the Stepbrothers. Which one's the bigger threat?

Heavy: We'll just see which one gets here first? (they then see the Stepbrothers arriving on their snowmobile. They then get mischievous smiles on their faces)

Phineas: (him and Ferb get off their snowmobiles and proceed towards the Don Box when they notice Heavy & Soldier still their) What're you guys waiting for?

Soldier: We're just waiting to… (pulls out his Boomerang) Boomerang you two.

Phineas: Dang it! Why?

Heavy: You're the strongest team in the competition. Therefore, it's pretty obvious that you're a target for elimination.

Phineas: Fair point. (to Ferb) Come on, let's go do the Botch or Watch. Again. (they get on their snowmobile and make their way back towards the Botch or Watch challenge)

Heavy: You know they're just going to complete the challenge again, right?

Soldier: So? By the time they finish, all the teams will've completed the challenge. And they'll be on their way home.

Heavy: Fair point. Speaking of the challenge, what is it?

Soldier: (presses the button on the Don Box and proceeds to read the tip) It's an All-In.

Jonesy: For this All-In challenge, teams must carve out blocks of ice to build an igloo. (finishes building his igloo) Once they get a thumbs up from a local, (a local comes up and gives Jonesy's igloo a thumbs up) they can proceed on foot… (scene switches towards the Chill Zone) to the Chill Zone. Last team to arrive, may be cut from the race.

Soldier: This should be easy. (to Heavy) Let's begin, Heavy. (as the Big Guns proceed to begin the challenge, the rest of the teams (minus the Stepbrothers) arrive, collect their tips, and begin the challenge)

Scene switches to the Narwhal Ring Toss where we see the Stepbrothers arrive, quickly find a hoop, throw it onto a Narwhal's tusk, and begin making their way back towards the All-In. Scene switches to the All-In where we see the teams trying to build their igloos, with only the Rockers looking like they know what they're doing.

Sam Sharp: Good thing my parents are so into building things, and I picked up a few things from them.

Luna: Yeah. Lucky us.

Soon, they complete the challenge and get a thumbs up from one of the locals. The local then guides them in the direction of the Chill Zone.

Luna: Let's go, girlfriend. (they begin making their way towards the Chill Zone)

After they leave, the Stepbrothers arrive and complete the challenge in record time, get a thumbs up by the local, who directs them in the direction of the Chill Zone.

Phineas: Let's go, Ferb. (as they leave, we see the Big Guns with annoyed looks on their faces. Soldier growls)

Heavy: Well that plan backfired.

Eddy: Now you know how we felt when we Boomerang the Professional Assassins but it turned out to be a non-elimination leg.

Ed: Yep. But don't worry, Eddy. There's plenty to be ashamed of. (Eddy drops a block of ice onto Ed's head, causing him to fall face first into the snow)

Scene switches to the Chill Zone where we see the Rockers and Stepbrothers arrive and check in.

Jonesy: Rockers, you're in first for the 2nd time. (they cheer and hug) Stepbrothers take 2nd. Congrats.

Luna: (to the Stepbrothers) Nice work, dudes.

Phineas: Thanks, you two.

Jonesy: Yes, good job. Now head towards the marked area. They'll be hot cocoa and warm cookies available.

Luna: Rockin'!

Phineas: Cool.

Jonesy: the camera focuses back onto him) With our top 2 spots taken, the race not to come in last place is still up for grabs.

Scene switches to the All-In where we see the remaining teams trying to complete the challenge. Due to Heavy's giant hands, he keeps destroying the ice him and Soldier cut out, much to his frustration.

[Solo Confessional: Heavy]
Heavy: Who would've thought there'd be downsides to having hulking muscles?
[End Confessional]

After some time, the Jerry & Sam complete the challenge and proceed towards the Chill Zone. The Cowboys finish the challenge soon after and proceed towards the Chill Zone as well, leaving the Big Guns and Scammers to hurry things along to ensure they aren't eliminated. Scene switches to the Chill Zone where we see the Spies and the Cowboys arrive and check in.

Jonesy: (seeing the teams arrive at the Chill Zone) Spies 3rd, Cowboys 4th. Still in.

McCree: You two are spies?

Sam: Yeah. We already told some of the other teams.

Ashe: I guess it passes through generations, huh?

Jerry: Actually I'm not her uncle. I'm just her boss.

Ashe: Forget I said anything. (they approach the marked area and join the Rockers and Stepbrothers for cocoa and cookies)

Scene switches to the All-In where we see the Eds finally complete the challenge.

Eddy: I don't remember building an igloo taking that long. I mean, when we built one for our dog sledding scam, it look only 5 minutes. I wonder what we did differently.

Ed: (running up the igloo) Slide on the ice. (slides down and climbs up again) Slide on the ice. (slides down and climbs up again) Slide on the ice. (slides down and climbs up again) Slide on the ice. (Eddy facepalms. He then notices the local behind him, who gives him and Ed their next tip)

Eddy: Let's go, lumpy. (begins running towards the Chill Zone)

Ed: Cluck, cluck, cluck. (runs after Eddy)

Scene switches to the Chill Zone where we see the Scammers arrive and check in.

Jonesy: Scammers… you're in 5th place. Congrats. (they cheer before joining the other contestants)

Scene switches to Jonesy arriving at the All-In where the Big Guns are still working.

Jonesy: Big Guns. All the teams have checked in at the Chill Zone before you. (the Big Guns sigh in defeat) And you would be eliminated, (the Big Guns become confused) if this were an elimination leg. But it's not! You're still in the game.

Heavy: Alright!

Soldier: Yahoo!

Jonesy: Yes, congratulations. Now make your way towards the rest area for cocoa and cookies.

Heavy: Ooo. I hope they have chocolate chip. (as the Big Guns leave, the camera focuses back onto Jonesy)

Jonesy: Tune in next week to see where in the world this race will take our teams on, The Ridonculous Race: Cartoon Crossover.

Scene switches to Drakken & Shego's base of operation where we see them watching the episode. Drakken appears annoyed.

Dr. Drakken: Drat! We almost had Heavy & Soldier.

Shego: Calm down, Dr. D. We already have an army. (points at the hypnotized teams and officers) Why do we need anymore?

Dr. Drakken: Because with those two dimwits on our side, we can easily crush the competition, thanks to their brute strength, and because their minds are easy to mess with.

Shego: Whatever. (begins listening to her favorite singer, "MC Honey")

Dr. Drakken: Just you wait, Shego. Once the time comes, we've have the money, and they'll be up the creek, no paddles, heading straight down the falls.

Shego: (sarcastic) Wow. Did you stay up all night coming up with that one?

Dr. Drakken: Mock me all you want, Shego. It won't stop me from fulfilling my plan. (smiles evilly as the episode ends)

Creepy. What will come from Drakken's nefarious plot? You'll just have to wait to find out. Now this chapter was a tad bit short, but I didn't have much planned this chapter. I'm really reeving up for the finale, which I guarantee will be the thrill of a lifetime no one wants to miss. Also, sorry for the late upload. I got completely sidetracked and I couldn't publish the chapter in time. Hopefully it was worth the wait. Anyway, take care, stay safe, like and review, and I'll see you all next time.
