Flashback.

Without so much as looking at them she walked towards Elena's opened window and with such ease of a master, flies out the window and high up into the sky, her destination the Salvatore Boarding House as rage, chaos and madness battled within her for only one aim.To kill.

End Flashback.

Gilbert Residence.

Stefan turns to Elena with an urgent look on his face.

"Elena, I have to go…"

She nods understandingly, still hugging Jeremy tightly.

"Go… make sure Cherith is okay."

He nods and blurs out of the window of her room and into the night, hoping he would get there before anything bad happened.

Salvatore Boarding House.

Cherith floats above town, when she spots the Boarding House and flies down, landing in the courtyard, not caring if anyone spotted her as she was in a simple pale pink tank top, white booty shorts and also barefoot, not that she cared.

She wasn't in her right mind at the moment.

The only words operating in her mind was…

Torture.

Destroy.

Kill.

And that was what she planned to do.

The more she got closer to the door, the skin on her hands turned into energy itself, glowing white, red and gold, no flesh in sight.

And it seemed to be seeping up, slightly unnoticeable but the more her rage increased, and it was currently almost at her elbows.

Raising a hand as soon as she got close to the front door, she blasts the door in, making a slight explosion rock the building, startling Damon who had been staring into the fireplace, hurt in his eyes.

Cherith walked in, spotting Damon who looked at her and her hands and scoffed slightly and dejectedly.

"What? Are you here to kill me? Or maybe break my heart like everyone seems to love doing nowadays."

He sarcastically spoke, pain in his tone but Cherith honestly gave no shit about him or what he was feeling at the moment as she walks forward, chaos magic seeping out of her in droves making her a sight.

A sight to behold.

To fear.

She was glorious.

"I told you not to touch my brother…"

Was all she said with her cold, dead voice and she raises her hand, firing an energy bolt at him and it hit him, exploding as he's thrown against the wall with a pained shout, skin burnt as it begins to heal slowly with his vampiric healing, but Cherith wasn't done.

She levitates him, proceeding to throw him across the room, hitting the ceiling and landing on the floor repeatedly, leaving bloodied dents on the ceiling and wooden floor as Damon felt his whole body in pain. Pain like he had never felt before in his entire life.

He felt like he was human again and fear clouded him.

Cherith still wasn't done, as her magic seemed to feel her pain, rage and madness as more chaos leaked out of her, seeping into the very foundation of the house as it begins to tremble from the power in it.

Stefan finally blurs inside, seeing the chaos around the destroyed living room and fear shone in his eyes.

"Cherith…"

He gasped out, walking slowly to her.

"Please, stop…"

Cherith turns to him blankly.

"I don't care what you think, Stefan. Leave me be."

She fires an energy blast at him with such strength that it catapults him back out and through the destroyed front door as he keeps tumbling with speed on the grass and into a small lake at the edge of the forest and away from the house.

Cherith turns back to her prey, not noticing the energy her hands were now made of had grown to just above her elbows.

Damon is still in the air, being held against a wall with magic as he groans and struggles but chaos is immovable after all.

His skin was bloodied up, bleeding from all sorts of cuts as his outfit was torn at all sides.

She fires an energy blast at him and he screams out in pain as it tears into his skin like acid, making him know just how much rage she had, and his vampiric powers slowly healing though the phantom pain of chaos magic itself still stayed.

"C-cherry… p-p-please…"

Cherith scoffs, looking at him with a sort of disconnected look from reality.

"You should beg me on your knees like a cretin."

She let go of him and drops to the ground and she watches as he groans, trying to shy away from him.

She grinned with relish, and if she had seen herself in her mirror, she would have realized just how much she looked like her nightmarish dream that morning.

Madness personified.

She then raises a fist, twisting it sideways and his skin begins to turn gray and dry up, like she did to Isobel, veins popping out and he starts to gasp out of breath.

She was actually killing him.

Stefan blurs back into the room again, looking like a wet dog, his face filled with anguish as he saw his brother turning into a living husk right in front of him.

"Cherith… listen to me. This isn't you. Don't let your powers control you!"

He begged her and she scoffs derisively, curling her hand and levitating Damon again as he struggled with his breathing and holding him high up against a wall.

She raises her right hand and chaos magic forms right above her head, taking the shape of a stake made of absolute chaos.

Stefan gasps, shaking his head as he moves towards Cherith.

"No… Cherith, please…"

Before he gets to her though, her crimson eyes brighten into an eerie glow and Stefan finds himself stuck on his feet, no matter how much he struggled and shouted.

Cherith then turns back to her prey, throwing her arm forward menacingly and the stake in the air whips towards Damon's chest who closed his eyes with a defeated look.

"NOO!!"

Stefan cried out but it was too late. Just a few feet away.

...

...

...

...

...

It was quiet for a minute as the stake stops just inches away from Damon's chest, just hovering and waiting for a command to attack and Damon popped an eye open, fear in his eyes.

Just then, her crimson glowing eyes return to it's beautiful amethyst and as she floats back to the ground, her energy made hands bleeding away and back into it's original color, the chaos magic that had been seeping into the foundations of the house vanished and the shaking stopped.

She looked up at Damon, a calm look on her face as she looked at how pitiful he was. It was sickening.

"I didn't do it for Stefan or Elena. I did it for myself. I won't make you turn me into a monster."

Damon's eyes gained a sort of relief in them and she gives him a look of promise.

"But remember… there are fates worse than death though…"

She told him before letting him fall to the ground again and he rolls over with a pained groan with how battered he looked.

While Vampire healing was a blessing… when faced with chaos magic, even though she wasn't as experienced yet, it still left it's pain printed into their bodies and that was another thing that made her a danger to supernatural kind too.

It didn't help that his healing wasn't working as fast as it usually did, because he had been exposed to too much of her magic.

She let Stefan go as well as he blurred over to his brother who had also regained his color though still pale and bloodied up.

He looks at her, gratitude in his eyes.

"Thank you, Cherith."

"Don't thank me yet. This is just the beginning."

With one last hateful glare at Damon, she walks through the blown out door and lights her hands, flying off into the night.

A look of worry was etched on Stefan's face as he remembered how unemotional she was.

She was so detached from everything.

It scared and worried him at the same time.

If her powers were this powerful and destructive, how long would It take for her to lose control of it completely.

It was a thought he didn't like, not one bit.

Gilbert Residence.

Cherith walked back into the house that morning around 6 am after her morning jog, slightly sweaty but not tired.

The previous night crystal clear in her mind.

Her powers had come to her as easily as possible and that was exhilarating.

She jogged up the stairs, stopping at Jeremy's door and knocking.

"Hey Jemmie… you awake?"

She called, still remembering how he'd laid dead.

It had been a scary moment for her and while she acted like nothing could move her, Jeremy was someone that had been a sort of constant companion in her life since she could remember.

Since she was a child, he was the one she toddled after when she could walk and while he had been annoyed about it according to their parents, he never actually minded and held her hands so as not to tumble over, even if he was just a year older… not even up to a year in fact.

"Uh, yeah! You leaving for school now?"

"No, just got back from my run."

"Wow… look at you, a health freak now?"

He jested her through his closed door and she huffed, a smile on her face.

"Oh shut up! Better join me now… you look like something I'd draw with my left hand."

She smirked, walking off and ignoring his answer.

As she closed her door, she laid on her bed, looking at the ceiling and just finding comfort in her now more quiet mind.

It had been one hell of a few days now that she thought about it.

"Can't it just all go back to normal?"

She whined before a passing knock on her door sounded.

"You should get ready Cherry, you did say your principal wants to meet with you right?"

Jenna informed her and she groaned slightly, standing and cracking her neck before grabbing her toiletries and going to take a hot shower.

Cherith was finally done, dressed in a dark burnt orange tank top that fell to just above her belly button, white skinny jeans with a slash/tear just on her left thigh, and a fluffy white opened cardigan, her belly button showing.

She paired it with white leather calf length boots, her hair falling behind her in beautiful waves.

Once she was done, she grabbed her things and jogged down the stairs to see Jenna there.

"Where's everyone?"

"Already left. Elena for the carnival as she's volunteering, which, might I add, you should at least try doing. Be a good member of the community."

Jenna chided and Cherith grabbed a small plastic bowl and began slicing some strawberries, bananas and some red grapes, popping one in her mouth before closing it and standing back up.

"I'd say I heard everything you said, dearest Jenna, but then it'd just be a lie."

She winked, dodging a playful slap from her aunt as she walked away.

"Seeya later Jenna!"

"Bye, brat!"

Cherith laughed as she walked out of the house and entered her car, driving off.

Mystic Falls High.

Cherith got out of her car, plastic container in hand as she walked towards the building, eating her fruits and ignoring the looks people gave her.

Some were already used to her oddities anyways.

"Cherry!"

Leslie's voice called out and she turned to see her friend also getting out of her car in a cute spaghetti cream gown just at her thighs and white sneakers and jogging over to her.

"Sup Les."

She greeted and Leslie looked at her amused.

"This your breakfast?"

Cherith nodded as they walked towards the building together.

"Yup! I've decided to get into jogging now… takes away a lot of stress and all but sort of leaves me hungry after my run."

Leslie snorted.

"Normal people complain of the cramps or body pain they end up having. You, on the other hand, are whining about food… which you absolutely love."

"It's human nature, Leslie."

Leslie snorts.

"Yeah, no. It's your nature."

Cherith shrugs.

"A good form of nature then."

"Hey Cherith… you mentioned something about traveling before?"

Leslie turned to her friend as soon as they got to their lockers and Cherith frowned.

"Traveling? Traveling where?"

"You mentioned the UK?"

"Oh! Yeah, actually… I might actually end up going there in the following months. Nothing too concrete yet, but it is a plan."

Leslie nodded, deep in thought.

"Well good for you then! You get to visit your birth mother's home country. If I were you, I'd definitely do it. Regardless of the consequences."

Cherith smirked.

"Hey! Are you trying to chase me off?!"

She jokingly asked and Leslie rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"Oh shut up! This is just me, being a good friend to you."

"Well thank you, good friend."

Cherith suddenly checked her watch, realizing she should probably go meet principal Weber now.

"Well, I have to go Leslie. We'll talk later yeah?"

They waved to each other and Cherith walked off, throwing her now empty plastic container into a bin and walking towards the direction of the principles office.

She knocked on the door before opening it.

"Principal Weber? You asked to see me?"

She popped her head in and the man looked up, waving her in.

"Ah, yes! Miss Gilbert. Do come in."

Cherith walked in, sitting down and putting her backpack on her lap, looking slightly bored.

"So, you might be worried about why I called you in today…"

He began and Cherith shrugged.

"No. Not really."

He raised an eyebrow at her and she innocently smiled back at him.

"But go off I guess…"

He sighed before continuing.

"I won't beat around the bush, the reason I called you here is because you have been awarded the position of Valedictorian for the 2010 Mystic Falls Graduating set."

Cherith's eyes popped open.

"You alone got the full 4.0 GPA and Blake Townsend who is just behind you with a 3.95 GPA will be the Salutatorian. Congratulations."

A lot of things were going through Cherith's mind at the moment.

First was… how could she go about without having to say a speech?!

She looked at the principal.

"Do I perhaps need to say a speech at the graduation ceremony?"

She asked hesitantly and he nodded.

"But of course!"

"Dang it!"

She cursed silently and he raised his eyebrows, making her feign a laugh.

"I mean… Dang it! I'm just… so happy and emotional!"

She lied through her teeth and he gave her a look saying he didn't believe her one bit.

"Hmm… of course you are. Well, congratulations once again! You can go now."

He told her, going back to his work and Cherith sighed, walking out of his office.

As soon as she closed the door, she closed her eyes, resting on a wall, her mind going a mile a minute.

Finally, it stopped at a conclusion.

She was the Valedictorian.

While she'd known she was super brilliant, she had also been worried when she was joining the school, thinking she wouldn't be good enough.

This though…

Happiness filtered through her chest as a big grin blossomed on her face.

She was the freaking Valedictorian!

Ah!

Take that haters!

She clapped excitedly, walking off to her class which would have probably started already but she didn't care.

She walked in to see Alaric already in class.

"Sorry I'm late Prof. Ric."

She called to him and his lips eyes twitched slightly before he grinned.

"Not at all… as a teacher, I already know the reason you're late."

He then turned to her classmates who were also curious and a devilish gleam appeared in his eyes.

"It will be announced later on but let me introduce to you, the Valedictorian of your graduating set, Cherith Gilbert."

Everyone broke out into gasps as some clapped, some whistled and some made noises of celebration and Cherith forced a grin on her face as she turned to Alaric who smiled at her unconcerned.

Oh, he would pay dearly for this.

"Let's not also forget our Salutatorian… Mr. Blake Townsend."

The mocha skinned tall boy stood up as everyone congratulated him and he playfully bowed before sitting with a laugh.

"Alright, let's get back to classes. Just because you don't have final exams doesn't mean I won't squeeze whatever I can into your brains before you all leave for college."

Groans were heard as Cherith sat down next to Leslie who gave her an excited tiny clap and grin which she returned.

Maybe today wouldn't be so bad… but wasn't that even a sort of foreshadowing on her part?

She shrugged off her backpack.

Whatever. She was going to have as much fun as she could during the carnival and drink as much as she can while at it, to celebrate her Valedictorian position.

Youngest Valedictorian Mystic Falls has ever had.

Seems her name would be written in history after all… apart from her Scarlet Witch name.

She smirked.

Salvatore Boarding House.

After School.

Damon is in the living room, pouring himself a blood bag in a glass when Stefan arrives.

"Care for one?"

He dangled a blood bag at his brother who shook his head.

"No, thank you. I'm not hungry, just ate."

Damon tilted his head slightly before asking his brother a curious question.

"Are you worried that one day, all the forest animals are gonna band together and fight back? I mean, surely they talk."

Stefan rolled his eyes

" I'm just happy that's a blood bag and not a sorority girl supplying your dinner. Especially with what happened with Cherith last night."

Damon shivered slightly as he felt a phantom pain go through him and something curl and uncurl it's touch around him.

He ignored the feeling and smirked at his brother.

"I like this. You, walking on eggs shells around me because you think I'm gonna explode. Very suspenseful. Is Elena worried too? I bet I'm your every conversation. Couldn't bother to ask how I am hm? Especially when her crazy sister did just try to kill me a few hours ago."

Stefan shrugged.

"You did deserve it."

Damon gave Stefan a look.

"Be lucky she didn't kill you. I don't think I'll be able to stop her next time. Just stay away from Jeremy."

Damon rolled his eyes going back to his drink.

"Have you heard from Katherine?"

Damon ignored the question.

"I think the Lockwoods have a family secret because the Gilbert device affected them but vervain didn't so they're not vampires, they're something else."

"Is this your new obsession?"

"You'd rather some unknown supernatural element running rampant upon our town. Fine, I'll drop it."

Damon sarcastically answered his brother, standing up but Stefan was still not through with his own conversation.

"We haven't seen the last of Katherine, you do know that right? We have no idea what she's up to."

"Sure we do. She came back to profess her undying eternal love for you so I'm gonna let you deal with her because I have more important things to do like explode. Cheers!"

He walks off, leaving Stefan staring at him as he left.

Mystic Falls High.

Cherith and Jeremy walk together as they watch the carnival ground sparkle with not just decorations but also people.

"Ah…"

Cherith sighed, basking in the normal atmosphere.

"Now this… is what I love. A normal day with my normal sibling, doing normal things."

Jeremy snorts.

"Yeah but you're anything but normal though, aren't you?"

Cherith scoffs.

"But of course! Normal is overrated anyways!"

She smirked and Jeremy rolled his eyes, amused.

"But seriously though, how are you doing? With the whole… neck snap thingie…"

Jeremy shrugged, not sure what to say.

"I can't be okay. I literally died and came back. It's… odd. It doesn't feel right. Like, why can a simple ring have such a power?? Why… does it even have such power?..."

Cherith sighed.

"Beats me too… but I don't even want to think about it. I just want to have a normal day… like I said."

Jeremy smirked before turning to her, amused.

"You know… Elena and I have dated Vampires… do you think you'd be able to?"

Cherith wrinkled her nose.

"No hate and all… but I don't think I'd be able to. Look at me, I have rage issues and I can be detached when I want to… add to it that my powers are basically supernatural killing machines… dating a vampire, I'm not sure it'd be as enjoyable as it sounds. It'd be problematic. From what I've learnt about Vampires, their emotions are heightened at change. So it's either they'd be too emotional, or emotionless… there's no in-between whatsoever. They'd even be prone to making split second decisions and you know I'm not a fan of that. Look what that asshole Damon did to you after all!"

She then smirks.

"I bet if synthezoids were real they'd do better than them."

Jeremy snorts as they walk towards a popcorn stand.

"Look at you all mature and all. Being the Valedictorian sure made you serious."

Cherith snorts.

"I never said having a fling with them wouldn't be good though… apparently they never get tired."

She smirked interestedly and Jeremy groaned disgusted.

"Ugh! Forget I even asked in the first place. Stick to your normal human boy toys."

"Hey! Witch boys exist too! Or rather warlocks."

She playfully glared at her brother and he shrugged.

"I'll be right back bro… I have to go 'convince' that bar girl over there to hand me a bottle. Don't cause any troubles before I'm back!"

"Oh shut up!"

Cherith laughed as she walked towards the mini bar.

"Hi there!"

She smiles at the girl behind the bar counter, probably in her mid 20s or so and with pink hair and lots of eyeshadow even if she was pretty.

She looked at Cherith and smiled.

"Hi! Can I see your ID?"

She asked and Cherith sighed, bringing her face forward and raising a hand at the same time.

Her eyes turned crimson and energy mist floated out of her hand slightly and into the girls head and she blanked for a second.

"Can I have my drink now?... Make it 3 bottles, while you're at it."

She beamed and the pink haired girl's face turned normal again.

"Right! Hold on…"

She smiled, putting the 3 bottles in a carnival bag and Cherith payed.

"Thanks… and nice hair by the way. It suits you. Cute."

The pink haired girl smirked at her.

"Why thank you. Love your hair too. Sexy."

She winked and Cherith chuckled as she walked off, going back to where she had left her brother and her smile dropped.

Damon and Jeremy were at a corner quite away from the crowd and it seemed this idiot was threatening her big bro, even after all that she'd done to him.

She sighed.

"They never learn. I think their healing abilities give them a big head. Hm…"

She pondered as she quietly walked over to them.

"I should probably look for something to do against that. It could get irritating after a while."

She finally got a few feet away and stopped, listening in on the conversation to be sure if the ass was apologizing or just making trouble again.

"This is what we're not gonna do. We're not gonna walk around like we are invincible when it's this easy for me to end you. Cherith's not here to protect you now, is she?"

Damon pushes Jeremy roughly.

"If you want to tell people what I really am go ahead and try."

He holds up the Gilbert ring and Cherith breathed through her nose, trying to stay calm.

"But let me tell you something... If you ever try that… I will shove this ring so far up your ass, you'll really have something to choke on."

He flicks the ring at Jeremy's face and leaves while Jeremy holds his face where the ring hit him in pain before looking down and recovering the ring.

Cherith claps slowly, startling the two as they turn to her and Damon's eyes widened in fear and wariness and Cherith's grin widened like that of a Cheshire cat.

"Well, well… tell me, Damon… have you always been this stupid, or are you making a special effort today?"

She asked, rather curiously as she walked closer to them and Jeremy moved further from Damon who looked caught in the act as he struggled to keep standing tall.

"Cherry! Wonderful to see you again… after you almost killed me, that is…"

Cherith smiled at him.

"I'm in quite a good mood today. First, I was announced Valedictorian. Second, I just flirted with a beautiful human. Too bad I didn't ask for her number. Shame."

Nearby, Jeremy rolled his eyes so far up his head he almost got an headache.

"I'm in a good mood today Damon dear… lucky you…"

She murmured quietly and deep down, Damon felt a form of utter relief in him which vanished as her smile turned sinister.

His phantom pain was back again, with those crimson eyes glowing at him so closely.

Suddenly, he let out a pained groan, holding onto his head as his blood vessels were being popped so fast he wasn't sure his healing abilities were working.

He fell to the ground, dots appearing in his vision and blood leaking down his nose and ears.

Jeremy walked over to his sister, a vindictive look on his face.

"You never do learn, hm?"

She asked him before she smirked at her job well done, stopping her pain infliction and he sighed out on the ground.

"You'll make a wonderful chew toy. Just that you're pretty stupid."

Jeremy snorts as they turn to leave and she calls out to him one last time.

"Your mum should have swallowed while she was getting down on daddy you know?... That way we wouldn't have been introduced to her biggest disappointment."

Cherith and Jeremy snicker as they walk off, leaving a slightly frustrated Damon behind.

It had been a while since the 2 siblings had separated and Cherith threw her last empty bottle to one side, feeling slightly giddy as she spotted an arm wrestling competition going on and excitedly went to watch.

She loved it when men tried to bring down the self esteem of their fellow gender.

Presently, Tyler was about to arm wrestle his uncle and rather interested, she watched as in under 2 seconds Mason won and cheers were heard.

Cherith snorted before shouting out at Tyler.

"Pfft! Hey Tyler! Is that how long you actually last?"

She smirked, her words having a double meaning and some playful jeers were heard.

Tyler scoffs, turning to her.

"Why don't you find out for yourself??"

He jabbed back at her and jeers were heard and Cherith rolled her eyes amused.

Tyler turned back to the crowd.

"Okay, he's the champ. Who wants to go next?"

He called out and a rather annoying voice Cherith had been hoping she wouldn't hear again, called out.

"Stefan wants to go."

Stefan turned to his brother with an exasperated look.

"Yeah, sure… I'll… give it a try…"

He mumbled as he walked over to them, placing his hand on the table and looking at the older looking guy.

"My brother thinks I could beat you."

Tyler scoffs.

"Yeah right."

This time, Cherith put her own two cents in.

"No, actually I think Stefan can beat your good-looking uncle here."

Stefan grinned at her before turning back to Mason who was looking at her amused and Tyler smirked.

"Want to bet?"

"Oh yeah?"

"If Mason wins… you kiss me."

Loud cheers were heard and Cherith rolled her eyes.

"If Stefan wins… You give me good booze."

Tyler snorts and nods.

"Oh, you're on!"

Cherith smirked, giving Stefan a threatening look which he chuckles at as he turns away.

Cherith though knew he'd win… after all he was a vamp—

"And we have a winner!"

"WHAT?!?"

Cherith spat out aghast as Mason and Tyler grin smugly and Stefan flexes his hand slightly, a small frown on his face as he walked off, giving Cherith an apologetic smile.

"What?!"

She shouted again over the cheering crowd and a smug rat called Tyler Lockwood turns to her with a grin.

"Where's my kiss??"

"I'll cut your dick off and feed it to you!"

She snarled at him and he raised his hands up.

"Woah, chill it's just a kiss!"

"Well I don't like to lose!"

She pouted and Mason laughed out.

"Next time, pick the winning team."

"Oh I know the winning team alright…"

She muttered darkly and walked over to Mason, slamming her hand on the table.

"REMATCH!!!"

She shouted out like a warrior and the crowd screamed out with glee at the new competitor.

Stefan and Damon who had already turned to leave, paused, exchanging looks and turned back to watch.

Mason raised an eyebrow at the tiny girl in front of him.

Granted she was fiery and all, but she was petite and beautiful and rather porcelain like… he wasn't sure he wanted to hurt her with his supernatural strength.

"I don't think I should."

He smiled at her, shaking his head and she smirked dauntingly at him.

"Oh? Afraid you have the same 2 second sex drive as Dante here?"

She pointed at his nephew who scoffed.

"Come on Cherith! It's just a game"

She immediately turned to Tyler.

"If he wins I'll kiss you for 5 minutes, if I win I'll get 2 very expensive scotch."

"Deal!"

Tyler immediately said, looking at his uncle pleadingly.

Mason was still not convinced.

"I don't know…"

"Oh come on… afraid you'll lose to little miss spiffy?"

Damon's sarcastic voice called out and Cherith rolled her eyes, still looking at Mason challengingly.

Mason sighed as the crowd also jeered him on and he finally acquiesced.

"Okay, okay! Fine! Let's do this!"

He agreed and everyone shouted out in glee, Cherith smirking as she wrapped her hands around Mason's hands, frowning slightly when a weird feeling passes through her. Not like a vampiric feeling… more… animalistic?

She shook her head, getting into the game and applying slight magic into her hands.

What they didn't know won't hurt them after all.

"Alright! 3! 2! 1! GO!"

Tyler counted down for them and when they began, Cherith immediately realized just how unmovable Mason's hands were.

It was like having an arm wrestle with the wall. It made her frown.

He grinned at her before beginning to take her hand down and halfway, she put in more magic, making her hand stronger and stop.

Mason looked at her surprised, a look of fascination on his face before he added more strength and the crowd was going crazy, realizing they were actually going against each other.

She pushed more magic into her legs as well so as to stand her ground and gritted her teeth slightly.

"Not bad doll, but I'm obviously going to win."

Mason grinned at her and Cherith ignored him, feeling exhausted and she tutted in her head.

She didn't want to apply too much power and win and make people suspicious.

It was obvious there was something off about him.

But… that didn't mean she was going to let him win though…

Cherith smirked at him.

"You might be strong Mason dear, but believe me… I'm diabolical, bitch."

With that, she put in another wave of magic, this time on her left hand and brought it over her right, using both hands to wrestle him, surprising him into losing concentration for a second which made it easier for her to use all her body weight to slam his hand down, making the crowd go wild as she won and Tyler's jaw dropped.

She stumbled to the floor on her ass, letting out a powerful war cry and holding her hands in the air as her name was chanted, Mason looking at her with surprise in his eyes.

"How did you…"

He mumbled, staring at her like she was the most complicated thing in the universe.

Damon and Stefan turn to each other with shock.

If Stefan, a vampire, hadn't been able to take on someone like Mason… just how powerful was Cherith… even if she used both hands, and cheated.

Stefan turned to his brother and smirked.

"That should teach you not to cross boundaries with her."

Damon gave his brother an irritated look as they walked away.

Tyler helped Cherith up and she groaned, holding her hands.

"What the hell?! Geez Cherith! Remind me not to piss you off anymore!"

Tyler spoke as he stared at her with respect but Cherith glared at Mason.

"Ugh! My poor arms! They hurt like a bitch! What are you, Steroids man??! Captain Steroid Pants?! Geez!!"

Tyler snorted as Mason feigned a laugh, a look of curiosity still on his face.

Cherith turned to Tyler and pointed at him.

"You owe me two expensive bottles of scotch. I'll know if they're fake asshole."

"Yeah, yeah… even if you cheated."

Cherith scoffs at him.

"There were no rules."

He waved off, calling out to anyone who wanted to wrestle as Cherith called out, saying her hands were about to fall off and walked away, not noticing Mason's stare still on her as his mind went a mile a minute.

Was she a vampire??

A werewolf??

An untriggered??

He knew the Gilbert line didn't carry the curse in their line… perhaps her mystery mother's??

He had a lot to research to do.

Still… she was a very peculiar girl.

Cherith stretches, feeling tired after all the fun she'd had.

She'd gone on a couple of rides to enjoy the thrill though nothing seemed as wonderful as actually flying in the clouds… it was quiet there… free.

She loved it.

Now though, she needed to pee.

She walked away from the carnival, heading to the back so she could go into the school and use the toilet instead of one of the temporary ones set up for the carnival which would have been disgusting by now.

As she got closer to a truck, she heard shouts and frowned, walking there cautiously when she sees a blonde vampire attacking a dark skinned guy.

Her survival instincts immediately kicked in and she lit up her hands, yanking the vampire with magic and throwing her off of the man.

The blonde vampire snarls, mouth red and eyes filled with absolute blood lust and Cherith's eyes widened as she saw just who it was.

"Caroline?! What the hell?!"

But Caroline was in absolute blood lust and couldn't tell the difference between friend or foe or even prey as she snarls, moving to attach Cherith who clenches her hand into a fist, holding Caroline down, unable to move as much as she struggled to be free.

Cherith turns back to the guy who seemed to be breathing heavily… he was dying.

Cherith turned to Caroline with a glare.

"Bitch, since when were you a vampire?!"

Caroline struggles against her invisible bindings but she still couldn't move and Cherith realized her vampiric side was more in control.

Her eyes glowed for a second and Caroline screamed out in pain, holding her head as Cherith finally let go of her, letting her fall to her knees as her blood vessels were getting popped and a line of blood rushed down her nose.

Cherith held it for about 10 seconds before letting her go and Caroline sighed in relief, pressing a hand to her nose before looking up, fear in her eyes.

"Cherith?"

She whispered out, a look of devastation and confusion in her eyes and Cherith's heart immediately moved for the girl who seemed to have no idea what was happening.

"Caroline… what the hell happened???"

"I… I… I don't…"

She stuttered out, not sure what to say and her eyes saw the man gasping out short breaths and she let out a wracking sob.

"I did that?! Oh my God! What's wrong with me?!"

She cried out and Cherith sighed, turning to the guy and climbing into the truck, kneeling by his side.

In that moment, Damon walked over, spotting the guy and Cherith and the bloodied Caroline and he smirked, making sure to stay a few feet away from Cherry as his phantom pain struck again.

"Well, well… I was right after all. Looks like you're in a bit of a situation, blondie…"

Cherith though, wasn't focusing on them.

She wanted to help this guy.

She didn't know who he was but he looked pitiful… and handsome.

"Okay, Cherith… you can do this… I mean, you've healed yourself before. How… different could it be?"

She ranted to herself, applying pressure to his torn throat and making sure not to apply pressure where his breathing was.

She hadn't healed anyone but herself before and so she truly hoped she could save this guy. This could not be the first human casualty she ever has.

She grunts slightly.

"This is why I couldn't bear to follow dad in his profession."

She breaths in and out as the guy gasps out for breath and crimson mist flow out of her hand in into the wound, ignoring Stefan, Elena, Caroline and Damon.

She pushes her magic into the wound, healing the arteries and veins that had been torn and preventing him from even more blood loss.

She pushed more of her magic into him and suddenly he seemed to relax and his breathing normalized though he remained unconscious.

Cherith sighed with relief in her eyes.

His neck wound was still open and slightly difficult to look at but at least he might survive.

She looked up to see Elena in front of Caroline and Stefan behind her, Damon's hands raised with a stake.

She rolled her eyes and it turned crimson.

"Oh drop that shit!"

She chided him and the stake in his hand lit up in red flames startling everyone especially Damon who yelped and threw it far away from him, turning to Cherith who glared at him.

"No one is killing anyone. If you of all people could adjust to the life of being a vampire, then Caroline for sure will!"

Cherith said resolutely and Caroline sent her a thankful look.

Just then, Bonnie walked over.

"Caroline?"

She called out… a slightly apprehensive tone in her voice and Cherith sighed, knowing there just might be another drama coming up.

She quickly turned to Stefan.

"Can you at least call 911?? What is wrong with you people!"

She ranted and Stefan slowly brought out his phone, keeping an eye on Bonnie who was staring at Caroline like she was her whole world was crashing at her feet which she could understand a bit.

Seeing your best friend you've grown up with look like a demon, blood splattered around her mouth, the very thing that caused the death of your own grandmother.

Cherith just hoped Bonnie wouldn't take it too far.

Bonnie looked away from Caroline as Stefan spoke into the phone.

She rushed over to the truck and saw who the guy was.

She brought a hand to her mouth, trying to cover the horror on her face.

"Oh my God!"

She whispered and Caroline sobbed quietly.

"Bonnie, please…"

Bonnie ignored her friend, looking at Cherith.

"Is… is he?"

"Dead? No. Just lost a huge amount of blood. Might have died, mind you but… I'm not only destructive."

She added dryly and Bonnie sighed in relief as Stefan helped Caroline away to clean up.

Damon scoffed, looking at the unconscious guy.

"You're better off leaving him behind. He's obviously lost too much blood. He's a practical lost cause if you've ever seen one."

He ranted and Cherith ignored him, not bothering as he just wasn't important to her.

She stared at her bloodied up hands, looking for where to clean it off before using the guy's clothes.

"Sorry man… but it is your blood so…"

Elena moved to her friend, looking at her with concern.

"Bonnie?... Are you okay?"

Bonnie though, only had eyes for Damon as she stared at him like he was the very definition of the devil himself.

"You."

She spoke coldly and Damon turned to her unamused.

"You caused this."

He looked at her exasperatedly.

"Oh? And how exactly did I do that, witchy? I only fed her my blood. Not my fault Katherine decided to turn an insecure, neurotic and practically useless, might I add, blondie into a vampire of all things. It's just better to end her now before she turns into another Vicki."

Cherith sighs, closing her eyes as she stands up.

Honestly, how stupid could a vampire be?

Running his mouth in front of two witches, granted that Elena was here… did he actually think she'd be able to stop Cherith from killing him??

Bonnie though, wasn't even listening to the crap he was spilling, she walked close to him, a glare on her face.

"You bastard. I warned you… I told you what would happen if something else like this happened again."

She looks at him, eyes focused and under her breath she mumbles something.

Suddenly, the line of water around the floor lit up in flames, startling Cherith slightly as Damon moves back apprehensive, but he wasn't fast enough as his trouser leg caught on fire and Elena gasped as Damon began to shout in pain.

"Bonnie!"

Elena shouts out to her best friend but there was a line of fire dividing them.

Cherith though, had a small smile on her face as she watched Damon fall to the ground trying to stop the increasing fire burning him up.

"Bonnie stop it!"

Elena shouted again, panic in her eyes and Cherith chuckled.

"Oh no Bonnie, please continue. I love you for this."

Elena turned to her sister who was still standing up on the truck and gave her a pleading look.

"Cherith! Stop the fire!"

Cherith doesn't even bother to look at her, waving Elena off, still interested in the burning undead and grinning.

"Oh Elena, that's your problem, he deserves to burn anyways."

"Cherry!"

Elena shouted out aghast.

She'd known her sister wasn't a fan of Damon, but to wish him dead?!?

She hadn't expected that.

When Stefan had told her the destruction she'd caused at the boarding house, she'd tried not to believe it too much, taking it as her sister having been too emotional after Jeremy had died but…

Cherith finally turns to her sister with an exasperated look.

"I'm not interfering in another witch's vengeance Elena Gilbert! Scram!"

Elena gives her sister a betrayed look before turning to the fire between her and her friend and clumsily jumping over it, grabbing at Bonnie's shoulder.

"Bonnie! Please! Bonnie!!"

The fire finally stops and Bonnie snapped out of her trance.

Cherith could hear the ambulance close by already as Bonnie turned to Elena with a glare.

"What the hell!! Why did you stop me?!"

She shouted at Elena who shook her head at her friend.

"Bonnie… this… this isn't us…"

She told Bonnie, trying to get to her but Bonnie was super pissed already as she slaps Elena's hands off of her and walks away angrily, leaving Elena staring at a groaning Damon before rushing off.

Cherith chuckled at Damon's groaning form.

"You just looove to be in pain huh? Are you into BDSM or something? No hate and all but… I guess that would certainly explain a lot of things."

Damon gave her a look as he struggled to his feet once he heard the ambulance and a cop car.

Cherith jumped down, walking off.

"You take care of this. It's your fault after all. Have a fucked up night Damien."

She skips away , looking for the toilet that had led her here in the first place just so she could also clean up.

Caroline was now a vampire.

That definitely changed a lot of things.

What had that bitch Katerina even done it for in the first place??

Sympathy swelled in her chest as she remembered how helpless and confused she had looked.

Poor innocent Caroline Forbes.

It definitely changed the dynamics and all but Cherith would give Caroline a little space but it didn't mean she was going to change how she saw the blonde girl.

Her emotions for sure would make her more prone to quite a lot of changes, but she'd try to continue her friendship with her, especially if she didn't change into a blood thirsty vampire with a blood rage.

There can't be two rage monsters in one town. She was the only rage monster in town.

Flashback.

6th Century.

Somewhere in Europe.

In a small but in the middle of a forest, the rain beat heavily against the roof and thunder boomed, like an unseen force was controlling the weather.

A woman looked out the window, eyes roaming around the dark forest as if waiting for something or someone.

"Is she here yet, Callwen?"

The black haired woman now recognized, turned to raise an eyebrow at the other woman in the hut, a blonde woman."

Do you perhaps think I would be looking out at this pitiful weather if I could see her, Dillena?"

Dillena smiled, unapologetic.

"Your eyes always have been unusually dim for months now."

Callwen scoffed as she moved to sit down by the fireplace, sighing at the comfort the warmth brought.

"It is this writing we do every time. I cannot say I will miss it one bit when it is over."

Dillena smiled.

"That is the way of us seers. No rest. Every time, when the moon is full, we are granted the ability to look into the unknown. To look into the future and write what we deem important enough to be documented down for our kind."

Callwen grunted.

"Yes well I do not like this full moon then. Not one bit. My husband… he is beginning to suspect where I leave for every time the moon is to be full."

"Will you be in danger?"Dillena asked, concerned but Callwen waves her off.

"I can take care of myself. Who can find us in the middle of nowhere anyways?"

In that moment, the front door slammed open, startling the two women into a screech and a dark figure walked in.

"Sorry I am late ladies. I felt something watching me."

A feminine voice spoke as she removed her coat and her short and curly red hair.Callwen huffed, standing up to glare at the new visitor.

"What is wrong with you, Enith?! You are late!"

Enith sighed as she sat down.

"Sorry sisters, but I really did feel a gaze on me tonight. It was dark and fearful."

Dillena looked at her curiously.

"Dark?"

"Also twisted and sinister too… it was like being stared down like an ant."

Callwen looked at her oddly.

"You had a premonition on your way here? Did anyone see you??"She asked, looking around as if expecting someone to burst in at any moment.

"No… but, I think it's something worth writing down."

"You think you will have a premonition and a prophecy?"

Dillena asked surprised and Enith nodded.Callwen finally decided to cut in.

"Oh all right! We do not have all day ladies!"

The 3 women settled down by a giant slab made of stone, parchments on either side as they begin to write down.

Suddenly after about 30 minutes, Enith froze, her whole body becoming rigid and the light of the moon baring into the room.Callwen and Dillena turned to each other, dropping their quills as they waited for their seer sister to regain consciousness.

Enith's consciousness was floating in absolute darkness when she saw tentacles appear in front of her, tentacles that were as giant as could be and as she looked up, it kept going and she couldn't see where it started.

Another scene appeared in front of her.

There was a golden red stone.

It shone with power in it, power that called to her.Glorious power.

She felt her body float to it subconsciously and as she moved to touch it, it exploded into a reddish golden light which made her turn her eyes away.

She turns back slowly, and in the light, she sees a figure, a woman. And she glowed of absolute power… and Chaos.

Back in her body again, Enith gasped out, immediately writing something on a parchment, not stopping until she was done.

"Oh… that was, intense."

She sighed out, her whole body tingling and Callwen leaned in slightly.

"What did you see?? It looked like it was very serious."

"It is… sisters, I saw a glorious sight. And a scary one too… a woman. With power… and I saw tentacles. Sisters… I think…"

She hesitated and Dillena frowned concerned.

"What was it Enith?"

"I think… I think I saw… the high priest of the great old one…"

The blood of Callwen and Dillena turned cold at the name.

"Enith… you don't mean.."

"Him who lies dreaming." Callwen.

"Him who will rise again." Dillena.

"Him who is to come." Enith.

"The sleeping God."The three murmured together as thunder boomed in the distance, like something really was staring into reality.

On the parchment was a prophecy of sort.

"The Scarlet Witch is not born; she is forged of the chaos stone. She has no coven. No need for incantation. But it is her destiny to destroy the world. To lay the world down into chaos and madness… for the sleeping god to rise."

Greene Residence.

Leslie combs her hair at her vanity that night as she got back from the carnival.

She had run into Cherry for a few minutes but they both had a few separate things to do.

It was a few months to graduation and Leslie could sense a few things changing.

Things that she'd once thought she could control. But now… she wasn't so sure anymore.

Her phone rang on the vanity table and she picked it up without checking the caller ID.

"Leslie speaking."

"My patience is waning Leslie…"

A cold accented female voice sounded through the phone and Leslie swallowed, recognizing the voice.

"A-Agatha… it's not as easy as you think."

Agatha scoffs.

"Not as easy? I give you just one job. One, and you're useless at it. Where is the Leslie who was ready to do anything for the cause? Has she softened? You know how much I hate softies…"

Leslie trembled slightly.

"Right now, I am so tempted to come over to Mystic Falls, but if I do, all my plans could crumble before I even blink."

Leslie's heartbeat quickened at the thought of Agatha and Cherry actually meeting face to face and maybe even battling it out.

"The girl would have field advantage and that is not what I need right now."

Leslie suddenly remembered what she'd discussed with Cherry earlier at school and eagerly told her.

"I actually do have some news, Agatha…"

"Oh?"

"Cherry—I mean Cherith might be coming to the UK in a few months."

There was a pause and Agatha spoke again… now interested.

"Is that so?"

Leslie held her breath, biting her lip uneasily as Agatha seemed to be deep in thought and she spoke up again.

"That would certainly make it easier for me, her being closer to Stonehenge without any trouble. This really is good news after all."

Agatha sighed.

"Very well. Convince her to actually make plans for the UK Leslie. This is going in our favor better than I'd thought. And I do hope for your sake she does visit Leslie. After all… your adoptive parents look good enough to smash right where they are in New York."

Tears fell from Leslie's face as her lips trembled.

"Agatha… you promised—"

"Oh shut up!"

She spat back at Leslie who squeezed her eyes shut from pain.

"Just do as I say."

Agatha cut the call and Leslie looked down, trying to regulate her breathing.

She looks into the mirror at her teary face, cleaning it off and trying to look all happy and less emotional as she walked out of her room to go watch some TV with her grandmother.

Hi guys!

I'm back again...

Sadly I couldn't write chapters during the time my system was away from me but... what else could I do...

So this happened!

I know, we really wanted Damon dead... heck, that was where my plotline was going! I already had the chaos stake in his heart and then I realized it could potentially be bad for Cherith who is undoubtedly turning into... something!

Feeding her magic with killing, hate, lack of control... that's a bad thing. We don't want Cherith loosing control, you saw the flashback in the last episode of what could happen if thing turn awry...

Also! I also realized Damon is a key character I still need.

Need how, you may wonder?

First, this dude is practically the only annoying bastard in the scooby gang who makes a lot of people mad at him and the group.

Who would be there to goad the originals like he did?

Without him, nothing would really happen. Stefan is sort of boring without his ripper persona, Elena is such a bore without the threat of a love triangle in the picture... in fact, Caroline had more drama than the main character when she was turned if I'm to be honest.

So! we have to endure both salvatores for now.

What did you all think about this chapter though?

Cherith's growing powers... her arm wrestle with Mason Lockwood who thinks she's a werewolf...

And the new flashback... wonder what that's all about... *smirks*

You guys might have an idea on who I'm trying to introduce into the storyline...

Also Cherith... huge flirt...

And congrats on being Valedictorian! Alaric better watch his hide...

Before I speak on this chapter, a story idea came to my mind about Teen Wolf... I once mentioned how I wanted to do a Scarlet Witch of Mystic Falls, but I just thought there might be one for the future but! Another idea came to mind Called 'The Anodite of Beacon Hills.' Based on Ben 10?? Anodites have great potential so why not incorporate that too... Still thinking if I should post it or not but... Eh! Just wanted to put this out there.

Anodites are a free-spirited race of humanoid energy beings from the planet Anodyne.

They are pure energy and draw life from the mana around them.

The body of an Anodite is a dark purple, humanoid-shaped construct of pure mana. From their heads radiate streams of glowing bright pink energy, which look like Medusa-like tentacles, symbolizing hair. They do not have any externally visible ears, nose or lips, nor do they wear any clothing.

They can make human skins which they can shed. Half humans/Anodites are born with human skin of course but then when they mature they can shed their skin too.

And they have lots of power similar to that of the Scarlet Witch.Anyways!

Just might see about posting in or not later on...

See you all in a few days for the next chapter!!!!
