The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

It was starting to get tiring of having to explain their whole story for the third time that day. But if it will help them all understand better, then it would be worth it. Goku and Vegeta couldn't get over the shock of learning how their biggest enemy had protected and saved their friend not once, but several times. It certainly was unlikely of Frieza to do so. Since they knew he had a tendency of being one selfish son of a bitch.

In a way, Vegeta still wasn't buying into it much. He spent most of his childhood under the tyrant's rule. Within that time, he has never once witnessed Frieza saving the life of another. So, why suddenly save the life of some young human woman?

Probably, the hardest part of the story was; explaining why Christina was pregnant. Even harder for everyone to digest when they learned it was Frieza's child. That generally rubbed everyone the wrong way, because thy automatically assumed the worst. Christina was worried the saiyans were going to rip his head off after learning he was the Father.

Right away, Vegeta pointed an accusing finger at him, and accused the former tyrant of forcing himself on their friend. If Christina didn't grab his shoulders to stop him. She believed Frieza would've torn the saiyan prince a new asshole for such a heinous accusation. She quickly said, it wasn't true. That they were both manipulated and forced into the situation.

Things certainly didn't simmer down between them. Especially, after they learned that the former Galactic Emperor planned on taking up residence on Earth.

"Like Hell You Are! If you think we're going to let you just set up house here, than you're an even bigger fool than I thought you were!" Vegeta snapped.

"Well, that's just too bad, Vegeta. Because I'm not going anywhere. Not my fault you have a problem with it." Frieza spat.

"Guys, will you please calm down? You're making everyone else here upset. We may not like it very much, but it's his choice if he wants to stay or not." Goku said, trying to defuse the ever growing tension.

"WHAT!? HAVE YOU LOST YOU'RE MIND, KAKAROT!? THERE IS NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER! HE CAN'T STAY AND THAT'S FINAL!" Vegeta roared at the other saiyan.

"That isn't up to you, Vegeta. You have no right to make that decision either. He's not here to pick a fight with you guys. He just want's to stay here with us." Christina said.

"She has a point, Vegeta. That is not up for you to decide. I assure you his intentions are genuine. There is no malicious intent behind his words. Frieza just simply wants to stay with his family." Whis added.

Vegeta couldn't believe it, now Whis was taking their side too? Did he wake up in the Twilight Zone this morning!?

"You all can't be serious!" He growled.

"Just let it go, Vegeta. This is obviously an argument you're not going to win." Lord Beerus said nonchalantly, as he dug into a bowl of chocolate mousse.

The saiyan prince clenched his jaw in aggravation. Then he sharply turned and stomped over to the edge of the balcony. Without looking back, he took off, and headed west; outside of the city.

Bulma wanted to call out for him. But she knew he's too pissed right now to even listen. May as well let him go cool off, and maybe blow off some steam. Hopefully, he wouldn't literally blow some craters into the Earth to vent his frustration.

Christina sighed and sat back down. She felt a hand slowly rub her back in comfort. She turned to Frieza with a weak smile. Before turning her attention back to her friends.

"I'm sorry, you guys. I was just so excited being back home after so long; that I didn't stop, and think about how much this would effect everyone. I had an idea that it wouldn't be well received. But, I guess I wasn't expecting such a blow out either." She apologized.

Bulma gave her a reassuring smile, "It's ok, Chrissie. We're still grateful that you're still alive and that you were able to make it back to us. It maybe a lot for everyone to take in. But this is both you're choice." The older woman paused for a moment and a reminiscent look appeared on her face. "Vegeta wasn't well received either, when he decided to take up residence here after Namek. Pretty much everyone here wanted him gone too. And eventually, they grew to tolerate him. Even now, when he can still be a pretentious ass." She joked.

Christina chuckled, "Don't we all know it."

"So, does this mean we can spar sometime then?" Goku asked.

Of course, that would be one of the first things out of the cheery saiyan's mouth. Frieza rolled his eyes, not surprised by the punch happy saiyan's question.

"I'm afraid, that will have to be postponed for the time being. Christina will need help these next few weeks and then after when the child comes." Frieza replied.

Though it will be quite an interesting development when that time comes. Especially, since the former tyrant still didn't like Goku and in some ways, still viewed him as a foe. They will certainly have their work cut out for them. Frieza also doesn't believe Vegeta will be thrilled at the arrangement. In truth, he normally wouldn't think to take up training again. But now, he had a good solid reason for doing so.

He will never admit it out loud. But he came extremely close to losing both Christina and Kira back in that lab. It was enough to scare the hell out of him and make him rethink the decision for taking up training and sparring. If it meant he will never become helpless in front of them again in a time of need.

"That's cool, you know where to find us when you're ready." Goku said.

"Obviously, after all; you lot are hard to miss." Frieza retorted.

It filled Christina with relief that they were already adjusting to Frieza's presence. She knew it was something that will still take a lot of time. But as long as it was moving along; that's what matters. At the moment, she had some other important matters to look into.

She has already asked Bulma earlier when she went into the house to use the bathroom and change; about what happened with her home back in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Just like she guessed, most of her assets were cleared from the property, and the home was sold, when she didn't return. It saddened her to learn of this. It was her first real home, that she earned through hard work. Now it was gone.

The blue haired scientist pulled her in for a hug and assured her everything will be ok. It's only typical of Bulma, that the first thing out of her mouth; was that she would gladly give the younger woman one of her latest model capsule homes. Christina of course, objected to the idea. She wanted to use what she had in her accounts to buy another home. The dancer knew she had enough in savings to buy another home. One of the perks of being a successful ballerina, was that they paid her well over the years.

Bulma gave her a skeptical look though. Telling her that it would be difficult finding a home, putting a lease on it, and moving in before the baby came. At least with a capsule home, everything would come much quicker. The Capsule Corps. Heiress knew Christina meant well and she was use to being very independent in handling her own matters and affairs. But it simply wasn't possible to buy out and move into a new home before her child came.

It was pretty obvious, that Christina was in the last stage of pregnancy, and would probably be giving birth within a matter of weeks. So it would be best if the soon to be small family of three to get situated right away. The younger woman gave it some thought. She knew what Bulma was saying was true about the living situation. There was no doubt, her and Frieza wouldn't be moved into a home before their daughter came. Because of this, she may take Bulma up on the offer. She told her blue haired friend she just wanted to run it by Frieza first so that he knows.

Christina's train of thought was broken, when she felt a weight on her lap. She looked down and smiled, when she noticed two big yellow eyes staring up at her. Anubis had his head in her lap, his tail going back and forth. The large wolf dog had been glued to her side, since her arrival back on Earth. In which she couldn't blame him. She missed him just as much as he missed her. She gently pat his broad head.

"I know, I really missed you too; you big mush." She said.

"So, this is you're large canine companion you have told me about."Frieza said.

"Yep, he was my big furry protector. But also a giant teddy bear. After my assault a few years back, I never really felt safe being alone. Even in my own home. I put off getting a dog for a long while though. Because I was convinced I travelled too much and wouldn't be home enough to care for a dog. Then I met someone I became good friends with who offered to be a dog sitter while I was gone.

She did a very good job caring for Anubis whenever I had to travel abroad for performances. He cheers me up, comforts me when I had middle of the night anxiety attacks, and made me feel safe and secure while I lived alone. He is friendly with people I introduce him to. But something tells me if someone were to break in, it be their funeral." Christina explained.

"It's nice knowing you at least had someone to go home to, even if it's a faithful pet. After what you've been through, I can understand why you would want better protection." He replied.

Her smile widened, "Yeah. Though, there is important matters we really need to talk about. The biggest one being living situations. It's true, that I may not be able to purchase a home in time before Kira's arrival. But Bulma gave us a better alternative. She offered to give us one of her latest model capsule homes. It's something I wanted to run by you. Because it's really a decision for both of us to make."

He tilted his head slightly, "What is a capsule home? And what about it makes it more sufficient than a regular home?"

"It already has all the necessities one would need up front. With nearly everything already set up inside. So that way, we don't have to go through the slow and expensive process of picking out a whole new set of furniture. Then the time consuming part of having it all delivered and set up in the house. And since it's from Bulma, we wouldn't have to worry much about consulting with bank fees, titles, and leases.

Which again, all of which can be a rather lengthy process. This is why, I think it maybe better to take up the offer. Because my concern is that we won't have a home in time, before our daughter comes. And I would like to have a home ready to bring her home to. They really are great homes and very popular. It is what Bulma and her family are famous for, because they invented them. Along with many other amazing inventions for the rest of the population."

"Certainly sounds like a great offer, especially on such short notice. If you believe this arrangement will work out best, than I see no reason not to take it. I agree, that it would be important to have a roof over our heads by the time our little one comes." He stated.

"So, I take it that's a yes then?" She asks.

"Of course. It is the best alternative we have going for us. And it sounds like a very good one." He replied.

"Good, because I know for a fact; you wouldn't agree to the third option." Christina said, with a knowing grin.

Frieza arches an eye ridge, "And what would that be?"

"Living here with you're best pal, Vegeta in his and Bulma's home. Was the third option." Christina teased.

His eyes nearly bulged out of his head at that statement.

"Absolutely not!" He blurted out.

This caused Christina to laugh. The look on his face as he said it, priceless.

"Relax, I was joking. We'll gladly take the capsule home before even considering that as an option." She said, between laughs.

"That's a good way to give me heart palpitations, Love." He said.

"Nah, I doubt it. You're as healthy as a horse." She added.

"Trust me when I say; I wouldn't be for long if I had to stomach living under his roof." Frieza countered.

Christina shakes her head with a smile. Frieza grasps her hand and runs his thumb over her knuckles. She grips his hand back.

"So, how soon can we make the arrangements then?" He asks.

"I'll ask her." Christina says.

She peers a couple seats down the table where Bulma was seated.

"Hey Bulma, when's a good time to start making the living arrangements?" She asks.

Bulma smiles, "I can have a capsule ready for you, before you guys leave today."

"That soon!?" Christina said, clearly surprised.

"Yeah, why not? I already have several of them made and ready to use." The blue haired scientist said, like it was no big deal.

Christina turned her attention back to Frieza. He shrugs and gives her a small smile. She returns her gaze to Bulma.

"Alright, thanks." She says.

Well, at least they now knew their living situation was about to be taken care of. It was surprising that it was this soon. But it was a more than welcomed one. Especially, as Christina draws nearer to her due date. So it all worked out. She just now hopes her and Frieza will be ready when that time comes. No doubt, she will be picking apart Bulma's brain on the topic of childbirth and rearing.

Until Next Time ;)
