"Nami-san can i ask you something ?" The orange haired women turn from the stove to look at her blue haired friend with a raised brow. "Sure Viv, whats on your mind ?" Vivi was thinking of the best way to ask the question. "Well you and Luffy-san known each other for a long while right ?" Nami place a finger on her chin in thought. "We known each other since we been kids so i say 15 years." "Right and you two are around your early 20's so i was wondering, do you two plan to maybe marry one day ?" Sure it was blunt but Vivi was honestly wondering. From what she understood they was dating since highschool around the time she met Nami, so one would assume all that time would make them wanna take it to the next stage. Nami tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean, we are married Vivi." Vivi almost spit out her drink before staring wide eyed at her friend, since when did they get married!? There was no ring on her finger and she was sure that if they ever done such a thing Vivi would had been first to known. Hell even Robin would had known. Vivi set her glass down and gave her friend a confused look in return. "What do you mean ? When did you two even marry ? I would assume you would had told me about it if such a thing happen" Nami fully turn away from the stove after lowering the flame some. "Well me and him been married way before we met Vivi." Her blue her friend gave an even more confused look which only made Nami giggle some at the expression. "Well to be exact, i been Married to Luffy since we was kids."

~15 years ago~

Two children was watching a corny romance movie, the raven hair boy was 7 and his orange short haired friend was 8. They were semi bored at the movie. "The guy in this movie is pretty stupid for a husband honestly." The boy turned to his friend, nodding his head in agreement. "Ya and the wife seems a bit scary when she gets mad, kinda like you." The boy felt a fist on his head causing the boy to yelp at the contact. "I am not scary Luffy, you dummy!" The girl yelled while shaking her fist in anger. "See!? Thats what i mean Nami!" Luffy said as he rubbed his sore head as his friend just sat back down folding her arms in anger. After a little while of them not saying anything to each other, Luffy was first to speak up. "Maybe we should get married ? I bet we make a better husband and wife then they would." Nami looked over at the boy lifting a brow. "Do you even know how to get married ?" Luffy in turn tilted his head looking back at her. "Not really, do you ?" Nami simply shrugged her shoulders, not really sure how it works herself. She then put some thought on the suggestion. "Well, i guess it would make good practice, for when we really do get married and all. Sure lets do it then!" Luffy stood up fast and throw his fists in the air. "Yosh, lets be the best husband and wife around!" Nami then looked around her home. "Now we just need rings, from what we saw you need rings for you to be married." Luffy folded his arms with a slight frown. "But why, if we agree to marry then we don't need proof of it do we ?" Nami gave it some thought and he had a point, it was between them anyway so its not as if anything needs to be set in stone. "Fine but we need to act like a married couple. So we have to hold hands when we go out." Luffy wanted to deny the request but thought better on it. He didn't really mind, just wasn't something he is use to. "Also, you have to say i am pretty whenever we see each other" She boosted, Luffy tilted his head to this. "Why do i gotta tell you that for, you always been pretty, don't need me saying it." That caught Nami off guard for a moment, causing her to blush some before shaking her head and folding her arms looking to the side. "I-Its so that you praise me for being your wife in the first place." Nami wasn't sure if she was believed that or not but nonetheless Luffy nodded his head. This was gonna be weird, that much was clear.

~2 Years later~

Luffy was sitting in his backyard in deep thought. It was Nami's Birthday today and he was trying to think on what to get her, she'll turns 10 this year and he wanted to give something she'll really like. They been married for 2 years now and so far things were okay, nothing too new or different has gone on, they held hands like agreed and would always hug each other goodbye. It was awkward at first but over time they grew into it like an everyday thing. That was about as far as it went really, which was fine, they were still learning how this marriage thing worked. They agreed not to look it up or anything and for them to figure for themselves what they should and should not do. For example, Luffy learned not to give his wife a Stag Beetle for her last birthday. Turns out girls aren't a huge fan of bugs it seems and will get mad quickly. So here he was thinking on what to get her. His brother noted to him that she didn't really give him nothing on his birthday a couple of months ago and that maybe it be okay to skip this year. But Luffy didn't want that, he didn't care much if he got anything but he wanted for sure make Nami happy somehow. That was the main thing ringing in his head, what will make Nami happy. One would assume because hes Nami's husband that its his job to but even before they did this he always wanted her to be happy, he always wants her to smile no matter what. So him being her husband didn't change that, he long since been that kinda person. He sat in one spot for at least 10 minutes till it dawn to him, he knew just what to get her.

Luffy and his family came over to Nami's family home for her party. "Welcome boys, come on in, the birthday girl is in the living room currently." Bellemere greeted them with a smile. Grap, Ace, Sabo and Luffy bowed their head while saying "Thanks for welcoming us!" Bellemere simply chuckled at the odd family that was Garp's family. They walked into the living room where Nami's sister and some of her friends were. Once Nami spotted them she stopped what she was doing and ran to them. "You guys came!"

"Of course we came, we wouldn't miss your Birthday Nami!" Ace said while ruffling Nami's hair. "Happy Birthday Nami-san." Sabo Joined the two wearing a friendly smile, Nojiko also join the three giving Ace a light punch on the arm greeting him. Garp and Bellemere watch the four but then notice Luffy making his way towards them as well. They recall what happen last year and wonder if they will see a repeat of it. "Hey Nami, i got the best gift to give you! Shishishi" He digs in his pocket in search for the gift. Ace and Sabo took a couple of steps back thinking it was about to go bad for their brother. Nami balled her hands getting ready to hit her "Husband" in the head like last year. Then he pulled out money and handed it to her. She stared at the bills in his hand before looking back at him. "This was my savings i was gonna use to buy a new issue of a comic i been reading but since you like money so much, i thought i give it to you." Luffy nodded to himself feeling pretty proud of himself. Both their families simply looked on seeing what Nami's reaction would be and to their surprise it was her jumping and hugging the boy. "Thank you Luffy! This the best gift you ever got me! You the best Husband ever!" Luffy laughed while hugging her back. Nami then took Luffy's hand and lead him towards where the other kids were leaving their families staring in wonder, all of them having the same thought. "What the hell was that about a Husband ?"

~5 Years later~

Nami was approaching the cafeteria of her and Luffy's school. They are now in highschool and for the most part its been..okay to say the least. For the most part they been doing well in terms of grades, mostly thanks to Nami helping Luffy with his work from time to time. They made some friends and its been great thus far. However while they been in school, they had been nothing but two friends at school. Nami felt that telling anyone that they were "husband and wife" would be a tad bit weird giving that they are highschoolers and wouldn't come out right honestly. Luffy was confused by this but obeyed and kept his mouth shut about it, despite Luffy not being the best liar, he managed to keep them a secret. But because of this she has been hit on at school more then a few times here and there. Sure some of them was good looking and maybe come from a wealthy family but the mere thought of even being near them made Nami's stomach drop. Just the thought of being in any kind of relationship with other men made her wanna puke if she was being honest. Her and Luffy long since agreed that their "Marriage" were simply till they were old enough to find someone to date and take their years of knowledge of being married (What little they knew anyway) and use it when that big day would happen for ether of them. So she didn't care if Luffy goes to talk with another woman or being around anyone other then her at school. If you ask her however, most of them were ether slutty, air heads or down right no good for him to be involve with. And thus Nami always made sure to keep a close eye on him. Her eyeing the women he been around and tripping over some of them at school during lunch, giving them a glare from a distance and sending a note or two to some of them was her simply looking out for a friend. Though Today was a bit different however. See there were just somethings she can't excuse, sure her friends can do it and she is sure his friends does it as well. BUT it seems some people don't understand and she needs to talk to them nicely to get them to understand.

Once she enter the cafeteria she looked around and spotted who she was looking for. On the far left was a group of women, the popular types, the types that look down at others and think they can take what they want, do what they want and say what they want. One of them being one known as Asuna, she was a true beauty and almost every guy in school been wanting to date her. Perfect body, great grades, cheerleader, she was THE girl that guys want and girls adore. And so Nami's made her way towards the table she was sitting, once she got there she stood in front of the ladies table.

"Um, excuse you, who are you ?" Asuna asked with sass in her voice. Nami gave a nice smile, before grabbing the can of soda that was on the table and held it in her hand. "Hi, i'm Nami, see i just came over to say something is all, no worries." Nami open her eyes and the look in her eyes look like that of a killer while still keeping that calm, sweet smile. "See i couldn't help but over hear you in class calling Monkey D Luffy a moron who was as dumb as a bag of rocks. So i thought i ask you nicely..." She then squeezed the unopen can of soda with her bare hands, crushing the can with such force the giger ale spilled all over the table the girls were sitting. This of course made the girls jump and not just from the soda that some spilled on them. "If you ever call my Luffy any kind of name again, insult him or even remotely make fun of him, this can will be your face." She drop the now empty can on the table and gave the girls and more so Asuna that same chilly smile and look. "Am i clear Asuna..or would you like to see if i can crush that pretty face of yours..?" Asuna as well as the other girls wave their hands clearly scared of the orange haired woman" No no no! I heard you nice and clear Nami..s-sorry i said anything bad about him. It won't happen again." The fear in Asuna's voice was music to Nami's ears. Nami close her eyes but kept the evil smile. "Thank you for understanding Asuna, hope you enjoy the rest of your day." Nami walked off to where her friends were sitting. The display she made will sure to stir up rumors, it will stir up questions her friends will ask her and they more then likely gonna question Luffy's and her relationship. Yet despite all that she turned her attention towards the table Luffy was sitting, his friends also saw the display while he sat and was eating his lunch box staring directly at her then waving to her. She smiled brightly this time, waving back before making her way towards her table. "That moron eating the bento i made him" She cheered in delight in her head.

~1 year later~

Between the two, Nami was the only one really nervous. Luffy on the other hand was rather calm bout whats gonna happen. They were currently in Nami's bedroom, she sitting on her knees on the bed and him sitting cross legs. She stared at the 15 year old who only stared back with his arms crossed waiting on her. "Why are you so damn calm huh!?" She said in a annoyed voice. Luffy tilted his head in confusion. "Whats there to be nervous about. We just gonna kiss aren't we ?" Nami grumble at his bluntness. It was her idea to do this honestly. The thought came up a bunch of times when they were a bit younger and more so recently thanks to her friend Vivi. She just ignored it till she just felt the urge to try it out. "L..Look, we are just practicing so that we can be good at this down the line. So you should be grateful i'm your first kiss and i am giving you mine" There was still that nervousness in her voice, Luffy had more then once told her to not push herself but she was too damn stubborn to listen. So Luffy simply nodded. "Okay then..so lets get this over with..lets inch a bit closer okay ?" Nami said as she scoot a little closer as did Luffy, they didn't change how they were sitting but was a couple inches closer though. "I-In the count of three we lean in okay ?" Luffy once again nodded his head. "3.." They began to slowly lean. "2.." Their faces was so close they felt their nose touch." 1.." They then peck their lips on the other before pulling away. They took a bit to register what happen, it was so quick that they barely felt anything. "That was not as good as people made it out to be." Luffy exclaimed with a pout. Nami couldn't agree more, that was just..meh, nothing to it really. "Hey maybe we need to hold our lips to each other a bit more, maybe thats it." Luffy made an O with his mouth in understanding. With that in mind they lean in again and press their lips together, this time the peck was a bit longer before they pulled away. They both looked at each other going over the second kiss. "Hmm, it felt a little better then earlier..though it still felt meh though." Nami said as she folded her arms with a slight frown. Luffy nodded in understanding, it was a bit better but nothing to brag over. "Maybe..we should open our mouth a bit when we kiss, thats what i see some people do." Luffy tilted his head at that suggestion but didn't object to the idea. So they once again lean in for their third kiss, a open mouth one this time. They kept their lips on each other for at most 15 seconds before pulling away.

This time they stayed in place, their foreheads touching. They didn't say a word before pressing their lips once more, this time was a little longer before they pulled away once more. They felt a spark this time when they kissed and Nami wanted more. Nami then placed her hands on his cheeks and pulled him for another kiss. It was like there was a magnetic force drawing their lips back to the other, no matter how many times they had pulled back. They pulled back once more slightly panting. It was a strange feeling, no matter how many times they kissed they just wanted more. Luffy was gonna lean in for another before Nami pulled away entirely and got up off the bed, Luffy was a bit sad. He assuming she was going down stairs or something but instead she locked her door and went over towards her desk, she grabbed a thing of lip gloss and imply some on her lips before making her way back to the bed, she tackled him on the bed before placing her now gloss lips on his. He wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her's around his neck. Needless to say they had the kissing department down. After an hour of doing just that anyway.

When the two teens finally lift the room both was rather breathless with messy hair. Nami's mother was first to pick this up, she knew her daughter well enough to trust she didn't do anything TOO adult like with Luffy and she also trusted Luffy enough to not do anything as well. "I see Luffy liked that cherry flavored lip gloss you brought eh Nami ?" She spoke with her back still turned cooking.

Bellemere didn't need to turned around to tell her daughter was red in the face. "Ohhhhh, i knew that taste was familiar!" Luffy exclaimed, She could hear Nami groaning making it all the more funny. Sure she trust them to play it safe, don't mean she can't tease her kid a bit though.

~4 years later~

"N..Nami..you sure you wanna do this ?" Luffy asked with some sweat dripping off his body, he was on top of Nami, both fairly naked in her apartment. They were both celebrating her new place and next thing he knew he was on top of her with no clothes on ether of them. Nami was panting some before reaching up and caressing his cheek. "Baka..i wouldn't do this with just anybody..i belonged to you long ago dummy. Luffy knew what she meant and honestly it felt so normal being around her that he never once thought their marriage was make believe or fake. It all felt so natural to him that he didn't think much about it. They always hung out, they always have fun, have fights, always being happy with one another. The mere thought of losing that always worried Luffy. "I belonged to you too, always have. But if you don't want this i won't be mad at you, i just want you to be happy Nami." Nami smiled brightly at him, even in times like these, he always ALWAYS but her happiness over his. Thats why she loved this fool so much. She closes her eyes before pulling on his cheek some. "Your happiness means something to me too, we are doing this cause its what we both want, not just you and not just me." She opens her eyes and smirked at him. "i went through alot to make sure most of the girls in school understood that you were spoken for. Though its not like you haven't made the boys at school wet themselves whenever you showed up with me." She remember those times clearly in her head. He may seem like a idiot at times but he would always be there when she really need him. "Now..no more talk. Just fair warning, once we start, i ain't letting you sleep hubby." She said with a seductive tone in her voice as she wrap her arms around his neck. Luffy gave a grin before gripping the sheets beside her as he slowly enter her. "Nether will I"

~2 years later~

Nami was sitting in the living room messing around on her laptop till she heard a footsteps entering the living room. It was Luffy, who was shirtless, with a towel wrapped around his waist entering the living and heading towards the kitchen, she decided to stare at him as he made his way, his figure was something she always admired and could not help but stare at his tone chest. That was what hit the nail on the coffin on something that she been debating for somite now. "Oi! Luffy!" Luffy turns around to look at Nami with a glass of milk in his hands. "Tomorrow you move your stuff here, we gonna live together, it'll make you finding a place no issue, we be together all the time and i get to stare at my hubby sexy chest for however long i want. Got it!?" Luffy stared at her for a bit before tilted his head some" Can i stare at your chest too ?" Nami in turned stared back at him but she lifts her shirt and flashed her breasts to him before pulling the shirt back down. Luffy, now with a nosebleed gave a thumbs up agreeing to her terms before falling over.

~Present day~

"Wow..i didn't think you and Luffy had THAT close of a relationship." Nami turns off the stove and lean her back on the counter. "Yea, thats why we never bothered getting it down on paper. We been together for so long that something like a ring or anything is pointless. That moron is my husband and i am his loving wife. We don't need proof on paper to make it so." Vivi smiled at her friend. She could hear the passion in her friend's voice. "Speaking of. Oi! Luffy!" Luffy head was sticking out from the side of the room with a cookie in his mouth. "Remember to call your brothers and grandpa over in the weekend, we still need to tell them the big news got it ?" "Yosh, already have, they gonna be so excited to hear!" Luffy declared with a toothy smile before heading back to game with his friends. Vivi turns to Nami with a confused look. "Big news ?" Nami gave her friend a bright smile before a finger on her chin. "Vivi, how would you feel bout being a god parent ?

This took me a bit to finished, damn cold TwT Hope ya'll doing okay, hope ya'll had a great Easter, i'm eating a bunny as i type this owo. And some starburst, hate the lemon kind eww. Anyway hope ya'll enjoyed the story, sorry if i had any misspells, i really dislike my keyboard, time for a upgrade soon though. Also hope the time lines haven't made things TOO confusing xD
