A little after graduating high school, my parents decided to throw a gender reveal party. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and I don't know my baby's gender, only my parents do since they're hosting it. We invited Bokuto's friends and family. We both wore different colors: pink or blue to represent which gender our baby is.

I wore a light blue bodycon dress with tan sandals. "I think it's a boy," I rubbed my visible baby bump. "I've been having dreams that we're going to be having a son." I dreamt of a miniature version of Bokuto running around the house. He was loud and hyper just like his dad. Just thinking about it made me really believe we're having a boy.

"No, I have a gut feeling that we're going to have a girl." Bokuto wore a pink dress shirt and white pants since he couldn't find any pink pants at the store. "Even Kazue believes we're having a girl too!"

"Yeah! It's going to be a girl!" Kazue cheered, prancing around us in her pink dress and curly pigtails.

My parents wore all white since they're the host who knew the baby's gender.

The backyard was decorated with blue and pink balloons, cupcakes, streamers, etc. It was a great day to do the gender reveal. The sky was out and shining as the warm spring air hovered above us. It felt great.

"I wonder what colors your friends and sisters are going to wear?"

A week before graduation, we spilled the news and truth to all of Bokuto's close friends and sisters. I'm so glad that I graduated before my belly could grow. I tried to hide my bump as best as I could by layering. But as the days were passing, it was kind of obvious that I was acting weird. My nose was sensitive to smell, I would easily throw up, and just minor things his friends picked up. At the end, we told them and they were shocked. Nobody expected us to have a baby, but they were happy and congratulated us. While the managers wouldn't get off my ass about my hidden pregnancy. Also, they were understanding of why I lied about Kazue being my sister. When we told his sisters, they were excited to be aunties. They didn't care if we were young. As long as we can support the baby that's all that matters in their eyes. They were going to be awesome aunties for both of my children.

Not only that, Bokuto got back to us about his professional volleyball career. The management team made everything work. Me and my children are able to live in Osaka with Bokuto. They will provide us a place to live and some money until Bokuto gets his first paycheck.

"I'm not too sure, but definitely my sisters are wearing pink. They also have a gut feeling just like me!" Bokuto laughed, throwing his arm around my waist and taking me and Kazue to the backyard where all the fun was going to happen.

20 minutes later, all the guests were coming in. The colors were evenly split between blue and pink.

Bokuto's sisters finally got to meet Kazue who wasn't shy to say hi.

"Oh my gosh! She's so light!"

"She's so cuteeee!"

Kazue enjoyed being held by her aunties as they tried to snatch her attention. She was acting adorable to make his sisters fall for her even more.

Kaori and Yukie hugged me, bringing in baby gifts.

"I'm so excited for you!" Kaori squealed in delight as she wore blue.

Yukie wore pink. "Have you thought about names yet?" She asked.

"No," I shook my head. "We wanted to do that once we knew our baby's gender. It'll be way easier." I didn't want to make a big list for both genders if we could do it later. Regardless if it's a boy or girl, they're going to have a beautiful name picked by their parents. The baby will be blessed.

Then Kuroo entered our conversation as he congratulated me. "I can't wait to be the kid's uncle and teach them how amazing science really is! Their science knowledge will increase by 100% and I can guarantee that too!"

I laughed at his statement. I really couldn't tell whether he was joking or not, but Bokuto told me that he's really into science. "Hehe! Well I hope you can live up to that!" Without a doubt, these friends of ours will love our child. I know they will tell hilarious stories about Bokuto to our children once they're older. I can't wait for the day when they're old enough to connect with us.

The event began as my parents took the stage. "Thank you for coming to my daughter and future son-in-law's baby shower! I'm glad to see that the colors are evenly split, but we wore white to not give off the real answer. There's activity…" They talked about the itinerary of the day so everyone knew what was going to happen today.

The whole day was filled with many games as everyone had to participate to win prizes. Bokuto joined most of the games we had while I tried to take part if the game was suitable for me. Lots of laughter and smiles filled the air, making everyone enjoy this special day. My parents were taking pictures and videos for memories. It felt great to have a baby shower with the people I loved and cared about.

After all the game was over, everyone who attended won something. They weren't going to leave empty handed.

Next, it was food service and the gender reveal after lunch.

Everyone grabbed the assorted food on a table as we all chatted amongst ourselves.

"Babe, I'm so excited!" Bokuto cheered, being unable to contain his bottled up feelings. He wasn't even touching his food because of the built up anticipation. "Now we can finally choose our baby's name!" He grinned happily as he sat in front of me.

My heart swelled at the sight of Bokuto being overjoyed. It's so hard to believe that a child could bring some much out of a person. Fatherhood isn't going to be a big issue for him. He's going to dote on our newborn.

"Hehe yes! I'm thrilled for the future!"

Once lunch was over, me and Bokuto grabbed a giant confetti cannon which would reveal the moment of truth that we've all been waiting for.

I gripped the handle tightly as I felt my heart racing in anxiety. I'm so fired up and scared at the same time. I know I shouldn't be but I am. After months of carrying this child, I finally get to know if it's a boy or girl.

"Babe, are you ready?" Bokuto grinned like a child at me as he jumped in place.

"Yes I am!"

3… 2… 1…

POP!

We twisted the handle at the bottom and pink confetti rained down on us.

Everyone cheered, saying how they knew it was going to be a girl and so forth. Despite it not being a boy, I still felt happy. My unborn daughter was going to be really cute.

"Mayu! It's a girl!" Bokuto hugged me tightly, peppering kisses all over my face. "She's going to be as beautiful as you!"

At 38 weeks, I went into labor and delivered my baby girl.

"WAHHHHH!" Our daughter cried out loud, breathing the fresh air of life.

Tears ran down my eyes as sweat covered my face. It was a long journey with my child. Bokuto and I dreamt about this day.

Looking at Bokuto, he also was in tears too. He couldn't believe his own flesh and blood is in this world. "She's so small…!" Bokuto sniffled. "I love you, Mayu!" He kissed my hand, feeling grateful to be a dad.

"I love you too!" This was so exhausting. I never imagined I'd be pregnant so soon. It just felt like yesterday Kazue was just a baby, but now she's 3.

After the nurse cleaned up our daughter, I finally got to hold her. "Isn't Aika pretty?" That's our daughter's name which Bokuto came up with. She weighed 7 pounds and she's a bald baby. I'm surprised she doesn't have any hair. When Kazue was born, she had a few hairs. I just assumed Aika would have lots of hair because Bokuto does.

"She's beautiful, honey. Everyone's going to love her."

A day later, we had friends and family come visit us.

I still felt extremely tired from pushing, and I forget how hard it is to use the bathroom. All my muscles are loosen so it'll take awhile for it to go back to its normal state.

My parents and Kazue were here first. My parents complimented Aika as they got to hold her. My mom teared up from Aika's beautiful sight. Kazue, on the other hand, looked joyful. She held her little sister in her arms as my parents carefully watched over her.

"She's so tiny, mommy." Kazue whispered since Aika was sleeping softly in her arms. "She looks like my dolls at home!" She tenderly gazed at her little sister with love in her eyes. "When are you and daddy coming back home?"

Naturally, Kazue grew to call Bokuto 'dad' now. Plus Bokuto insisted on her since he's going to propose sooner or later, and he's her only dad figure too.

"In a few days,"

I could tell she missed having us home. It hurts to be away from her, but I had to deliver her little sister. The house will be livelier than ever once I'm home.

Bokuto's sisters and friends came to visit us and the baby. They were all ecstatic by our little pumpkin sleeping. They were saying how Aika looked like me or Bokuto, but I didn't see any resemblance since she's still a newborn. I'll be able to determine once she gets older.

As the years passed by, our family of 4 turned into 5. Just last year I gave birth to a son named Kenji. Also now that Aika grew up, she's a carbon copy of Bokuto. She looks and acts just like him. From the money he made being a professional volleyball player, he was able to propose to me. I was in a white mermaid wedding dress as my hair was in an updo. I looked so gorgeous in the mirror. I couldn't believe this day had finally come. Bokuto proposed after winning a tournament. He did it in front of everyone so his fans and the world knew that he was going to be a married man. The crowd cheered and sobbed from how heartwarming it was. It really overwhelmed me since I'm not used to having eyes on me. I said yes because I can't live life without him after raising two children together, and we were high school sweethearts of 5 years.

"Mayu, are you ready?" My dad called as the wedding ceremony was about to begin.

A pleasant smile took over my face. "Yes!"

Behind the grand doors, I breathed out my anxiety. It was a small wedding with family and friends. We had security patrolling since Bokuto is popular and a lovable person. We didn't want anyone crashing our special day.

Once the doors opened, serene music singing about endless love played as I walked alone in the aisle. All eyes were on me, enthralled by the beauty of the bride. My feet walked over petals from Kazue and Aika being my flower girls while my son sat on his grandpa's lap, watching his mom get married.

I felt overwhelmed with emotions. I didn't want to cry until we sealed our vows, but it's so hard not to because Bokuto looked magnificent in his black suit. I'm marrying the man who never once abandoned me and helped me grow into the woman I am today. I'm going to grow old with him and watch our children sprout their wings and fly.

Each small step felt like a fairy tale. It's still so hard to believe that this was really happening—my marriage to Bokuto Koutarou. Maybe it'll hit me once we say 'I do' or when we go on our honeymoon.

My heart kept pounding until I stood in front of Bokuto with a big smile frozen on my face.

"Wow you look beautiful, dear." Bokuto whispered, blinking a couple of times before wiping his tears away. The crowd saw this and awed by the sight of the groom getting his heart swayed by his dazzling bride.

"Thank you. You're extremely handsome, honey." A tear slipped out as I patted it dry.

Then we recite our marriage vows before sealing it with a kiss. His warm lips against mine sent waves of heat and unconditional love down my body. My future will end with him.

Everyone cheered and clapped, overjoyed for us, the newly wedded couple.

The end.
