Chapter Twenty-Seven: Pirate fight & Back to Auradon
The boys ended up falling asleep as the printing took until morning to finish. Once they saw that it was a perfect replica they hurried towards the garage. When they got there they saw Vanessa with Lonnie, Amara, Aziz and Ella with her. With everything really they hurried into the limo and drove back to the Isle. They reached the pier where Mal, Evie and Pandora were waiting for them. Hunter was grateful that Mal remembered to bring his motorbike and their bags. He knew they wouldn't be able to stay so asked her to bring their things just in case. He worked hard for his bike and Morgana was still in his bag too. Jay and Carlos went to get the swords from the trunk and saw that Dude sneaked in and is still talking.
"Okay, here, let me see." Mal said
She took a look at the wand and saw that it was perfect.
"Alright you guys, it's noon." Vanessa said "Are we ready?"
"Yeah." Evie said, holding the bag with the smoke bombs.
"Good. Let's do this." Vanessa said
They all entered the pipe tunnel and entered Pirate Bay where they saw Umas' ship.
"Hey guys! They're here!" Gill announced
Uma's crew laughed and cheered when they saw them. Hook had untied Ben from the pole and took him over to the plank.
"Welcome!" He smirked
"Finally!" Uma laughed
Uma 'Huh, let's get this party started
I swear I'm cold-hearted
There's no negotiation
I'm not here for debatin'
You need some motivation?
Just look at Ben's face

Having enough of this Vanessa walked forward on the deck with Hunter behind her. Uma walked over too with Hook behind.
Vanessa 'Ok, look this is not a conversation
It's a do-or die situation
If you don't give me back my brother
I'll have no hesitation

And I don't need a reservation
That way your whole pirate crew can have a demonstration

Hook was getting too close to Vanessa for Hunter's liking and Uma saw this. So she grabbed his arm to pull him away.
Uma 'Harry!
We get it, chill.'
He blew a kiss towards her and both Vanessa and Mal had to hold Hunter back from killing him and hurried back their group.

Mal, who had the wand, walked over deck and was about to hand the fake wand but Uma wasn't falling for it.
"Hold up. Mm. Too easy." She said "Why don't you give it a test drive? We want to see it work."
Everyone was worried but luckily they didn't give it away.
"You were quite the drama queen." Mal replied
With her hearing Vanessa heard little paw prints tottling towards them. She looked to the side and saw Dude.
"Oh, and nothing too big or else Ben is fish bait." Uma warned
Hook had Ben at the edge of the plank.
"We're dead." Carlos muttered
"Not yet." Vanessa whispered and nudged her head towards Dude.
The others understood what she was thinking. When Mal looked over at them Carlos cocked his head to Dude and she too understood.
"Okay." She pointed the wand towards Dude. "Although it seems absurd, turn your bark into a word."
Dude didn't talk.
"Talk, dog." Mal said
"Does this vest make me look fat?" Dude asked
This made Uma's eyes widen and the crew laughing.
"Hey, does anyone have some bacon? Cookies?" Dude continued to ask
This got Uma's approval and demanded that wand. Mal wasn't giving it to her until she has Ben. Uma agreed to this and ordered Hook to bring him over. While doing this Gil wanted to give Ben a message that his father gave him.
"Oh, um, before you go, tell your mom that Gaston says hi and also tell your dad that my dad wishes he'd finished off your dad when he had the chance." Gil said
Hook got him to the deck and had him on his knees.
"Cut him loose, Harry." Uma said
Hook sighed in disappointment.
"I never get to have any fun." He sighed
He took out his sword and cut his ropes. The moment Mal got ahold of Ben's hand the dark fairy-witch handed the wand to Uma. Mal quickly pulled Ben away towards the other once Uma had the wand. They all tried to get out but Ben still thought the wand was real.
"By the powers of the sea, tear it down and set us free!" Uma incarnated
When they saw that nothing was happening Uma knew was tricked and broked it with ease.
"No! You do not get to win everytime!" Uma yelled
Seeing that the fight was about to start Jay quickly got the swords out of the barrel and toss them to everyone.
"Get em'!" Uma yelled
Carlos and Ella shot smoke bombs to blind the crew for a few seconds. Crew members swung to the docks and started fighting off the VK's and the Auradons. Everyone was able to hold themself. None of the crew members were able to handle Vanessa as she showed off how deadly she was with swords. Hunter was fighting right beside her, holding back one of the crew's biggest members but it was nothing he could handle. Mal ended up fighting with Uma while Hook fought off with Jay and Gil was fighting Ben. Mal was able to keep up thanks to Hunter and Jay. When Carlos came to deal with Gil, Ben hurried off to help Evie. Amara and Aziz were having the time of their lives as they took down a few pirates. Ella was able to hold herself with the help of Lonnie. With Jay, it was an even match but he was able to get an upper hand when Pandora tripped Hook and got a hand on his hook. She was so much like her father as she liked to taunt the Hooks. He tried to grab it but Pandora was faster and dangled it over the rail of the sea. Seeing this Hook tossed his sword down and gestured for her to give it to him. Pandora just smirked and dropped it. Hook quickly dive in to get it. This worried some of the pirate girls as the waters were infested with sharks. When Mal was able to get away from Uma she was able to gather everyone and told Jay to get to limo. He quickly got Lonnie and Ella to go with him while everyone continued fighting. Uma caught up to Mal and started fighting again. Hook tried to fight Ben and Vanessa but Hunter blocked him. The wizard gave Hook the darkness look and fought him. When he was able to disarm the pirate Hunter punched him hard in the face and a good kick in the gut. Evie threw the last smoke bomb and they all were able to get away. Mal destroyed the bridge towards the tunnel and everyone got in the limo while Hunter and Vanessa followed behind them on his bike.
They returned to Auradon in one piece. Lonnie, Amara and Aziz left to return the swords. Pandora and Ella had to go off and do something, leaving Vanessa alone with her brother the VK's. From the looks on their faces Mal and Ben didn't get back together yet. When Ben walked away with a defeated look on his face Vanessa went to talk to him. Hunter stayed so he could talk to Mal.
"We need to talk." Evie whispered
She pulled her away but Hunter stopped them.
"No. Mal, they...we all need to hear this." Hunter said
"I agree with Hunter. You guys are always going off in a huddle, whispering your girl talk stuff or whatever." Carlos replied "And Hunter, Jay and I are tired of it."
"I'm not." Jay said
Hunter elbowed him in the gut, making him groan.
"We're family, Mal. All of us." Hunter said "We've been through a lot together. We're not stopping that now, okay."
Carlos nodded and told everyone to sit. It took awhile but they all sat down in a circle.
"Um, well. I'm a mess. I'm such a mess." Mal sighed before breaking down into tears. "I mean, six months ago, I was, you know, stealing candies from babies, and now everybody wants me to be this Lady of the Court. And I have no idea how to keep up the act."
"Then don't." Carlos said
"See. This was dumb." Jay said
He was about to get up but Hunter pulled him back down.
"Maybe it wasn't." Evie said and held Mal's hand. "We're always gonna be the kids from the Isle. I tried to forget it. I really tried, but those are our roots. And we all did what we had to survive. But it made us who we are. And we're never gonna be like anybody else here. And that's okay. That's okay."
"And we can't fake it." Hunter said
"No." Evie agreed
"Yeah, I mean, especially without my mothers' spell book." Mal muttered
"Mal, if Ben doesn't love the real you, then he's not the one." Hunter said
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Give him a chance." Carlos said
"I'm gonna make some changes to your dress." Evie said "And if you're up for it...only if you're up for it...it will be waiting for you, okay?"
With that said everyone got up and headed their different ways. Hunter was the only one that stayed behind with Mal.
"Just come to Cotillion tomorrow night, all right?" He said "If Ben isn't smart enough to love you and you can't stand another day, I'll take you back myself. Okay?"
Mal smiled as she nodded. The two got up and hugged before heading to the dorms.
The next day Jay had called the Sword and Shield team for another practice but that wasn't all. He was denouncing himself as captain and gave that title to Lonnie. The rule book didn't say that the captain had to be a man after all. With her decision she let Pandora and Amara in on the team as well, much to Chads' dismay. He had no choice to follow.
Thanks to Jay and Carlos's made up story Doug thought Evie was seeing someone else. Evie was able to calm him down when she told him the truth. This made him happy and the two continued with their work and dropped off the dresses she made.
With Carlos he finally got the guts to ask Jane out to the Cotillion. At first she thought as just like friends but he finally explained that he wanted to go as her date. Then taking a step forward he asked her out on a real date and hoped that they could be boyfriend and girlfriend. This made Jane happy so much, as she did feel the same with him and quickly agreed. When he returned to his room he found Chad using his printer again and a crown. Looks like Vanessa's threat didn't hit him hard enough. Before Carlos could yell at him Chad got a call and saw that it was Audrey. Apparently she got a flat tire in Sherwood forest and she wants him to fix it. Clearly she was just using him but he didn't care and left to help her. But Carlos quickly took the crown away before he could.
