Aah, this is super late, I'm sorry! This is the only week that I have some time to write.
I also apologize for this being so short.
Note: This is set after the hydrofoil accident.
Gordon couldn't wait to go home.
He had been in the hospital for months. He grew tired of being in the minimal white room. Good thing there was a television for him to be entertained when he was alone. He also grew tired of the hospital food. The first month wasn't okay for him, and then in the next months, he found the food delicious. But he still missed home cooked meals.
Dad and Scott helped him up and slowly took him to the car. When they arrived home, Gordon began to smell good food. Grandma and Virgil prepared food for him. He wanted to rush to see what they're cooking, but he had to move slowly. So he patiently waited at the dining table. Dad helped Grandma fill in what's missing to cook the perfect meal. Minutes later, Gordon's lunch was served. Finally, a full meal, with the right amount of meat and vegetables, with mashed potatoes as a side dish, and there's a small bowl of mixed fruits chopped in cubes.
Gordon can finally relax, and soon, he'll get back to his normal activities. But he still needed some company. Virgil's always by his side to help him when he needs anything. What's good is that he's finally home.
