Karl was on a meadow with flowers. He was so happy, he was never more happy in his life. He smelled the beautiful flowers.
Suddenly, a goddess with beautiful blonde long hair and lilac dress was coming down to him.
"Who are you?" he said. It was a dumb question. Each night the answer was "Lavender, but you can call me La."
"So, La, what do you want from me?" he asked.
"Listen. You are in grave danger. This witch put a magic spell on you, and she'll only drag you down. Go to EverRealm Academy. Seek the lesson about the EverRealm Academy Scepter. And see she doesn't get her hands on it."
And he woke up. That can't be right. Each night, the same dream. It had a meaning. Miru wasn't so she claimed to be. Yet he loved her for a reason.
"EverRealm Academy..." He muttered. "It's time, as heir to the throne, I went there."
He signed the papers of transferration. Monday came, and he was in luck, cause the lesson was about the EverRealm Academy Scepter.
"Karl? What are you doing here?" Miru asked.
"I transferred here to be with you sweetheart. And because I'm heir to the throne."
He was half right. He transferred to see what the heck is going on.
Other time, Miru would've jumped up in joy all day. Now she said: "Oh, great." only half excited.
"What's going on? How the heck did Karl get attached to you so, he decided to switch schools?" Dani asked.
"I honestly have no idea. But i wish it would stop." she growled.
Karl saw this and said haughtily: "Gee, what's the matter, Miru? Don't you love me anymore?"
A flock of girls came to him. "Uhhh, Karly!" they said. They all had a crush on him, for he was handsome and smart and funny.
"Ok, that's enough!" Amber said. Amber was like the queen of students. They immediately obeyed.
"Thank you." Karl whispered.
They all went to class. "Ah, magic students." Pristinda smirked. "Today we're going to talk about an important relic of the past: the EverRealm Academy Scepter." Karl was writting everything down... so was Miru.
"This scepter has many powers. It can freeze time." Miru smirked. "It can blast people to pieces. It can magically trap them in jewels. It's located somewhere in the school, and it has a powerful charm to protect it." The spell was messing with Karl's head. "Ow," he said. "Miru!"
"So for goodness sake, DON'T EVEN TRY TO USE IT." Pristinda warned.
Karl's eyes glowed blue. "Mrs. Pristinda, how do we unlock the scepter's protection charm?" Then he covered his mouth, realizing what he's done.
Pristinda looked at him unhumanly. Miru's eyes sparkled. "Great idea, Karl! Let's see what we must do if one of us wants to use the scepter."
"Why?" Pristinda asked. "So you can use it? What part you're not allowed to use it did you not understand?"
"But. But I-" Karl stuttered, but Pristinda slammed a ruler on his table.
"I made a mistake." Karl muttered exhausted. Victoria kept glaring at Miru.
Miru was later in the school library. She was looking for a book. "History of the Castles." "History of the Kingdoms" Ugh! Where is that book? "
" Ahem. Are you looking for something? "Karl came in.
"Oh, umm. You know me, hehe, just looking for a royal book! Aha! There it is!" History of Gowns and Tiaras! "
" Don't tell me. You're looking for a book on how to unlock the charm of the EverRealm Academy Scepter, don't you? "
Miru dropped her book. Then she took Karl by the arm and took him somewhere where people won't hear them.
"Yes. I want that scepter. All to myself."
"But-but why?" he asked horrified. "Who are you?" he pulled himself away from her, suspicious.
"I'm someone you must don't know of. But listen, if you help me unlock the scepter, i'll make you the king of the EverRealm. Deal?"
Karl looked at her then his eyes glowed blue again. "Come here, Miru." He took her and they went to a table. Karl made sure no one was around.
"Tell me, why are you evil?"
Miru could only look at him.
"Look, I don't know what's wrong with me, and what my dream is trying to tell me. I don't know if what Clarinda said is a lie or not.
But if it's true, I was horrible to you. And I apologize. I'm really sorry. "
Miru looked at him. "People think i'm weird. And messed up."
She hold back her tears. Karl said taking her hand: "You're not weird. Only unique. Just trust me."
Miru and Karl almost kissed, but the school bell rung. "Listen" Karl offered. "I will help you unlock the scepter only if you promise not to harm anyone, and if you use it to make me king of Funtasia."
Miru looked at him lovingly "I promise" and she crossed her fingers behind her back.
Flashback
Clarinda made her way on the halls of Funtasia Palace.
A shadow said: "Welcome, Princess Clarinda." She stepped out in the light, it was Miru.
She looked at her creepily, but Clarinda: "So, you're wondering why I'm here. Unless you already know."
"No, I don't. So, why are you here? A love spell?"
"Ok, stop messing with me! Yes, I need Prince Hugo to love me."
Miru opened her mouth, but Clarinda said: "Hush, darling. I'll give you a fortune. And I won't tell that you enchanted Karl. I understand the feeling. Friends? "
Miru gritted her teeth. Clarinda pulled a chest filled with money. It was filled with gold, rubies, diamonds...
"Mmm." said Miru. "Come here." And she took Clarinda by her side.
"You see, to enchant a boy. You need to use a magic spell. What i used was the ray of moonlight, which pours out every one thousand years. But there are other ways."
"Like what?"
"I'll tell you. But first, you gotta help. Join the winning team."
