Ah, those tales bring such warmth to the hearts of you listeners to which I so enjoy regaling my stories.
Alas, we are nearing the end of our tale here, but we still have much more to review.
We have seen friendships turn into romantic relationships;
We have seen travelers turn into a family;
We have seen what there is to be seen and told from the Octopath Travelers time within the taverns.
So, you see now why I have deigned it necessary for all of you, listeners, to hear this accompanying tale to the Octopath Travelers' adventures?
There is more to be seen between the journeys they take, they have lives outside of the legends they unknowingly made themselves to be.
We have seen a cleric learn to become a dancer, yes?
She had done it to support those around her, as well as her beloved.
Again, more than meets the eye.
The apothecary and cleric have become one, now, and I do believe that their bond will only strengthen with time.
The merchant has become a sister or a daughter to the Travelers she has claimed as her family - she is starting to see what her greatest treasure may yet be.
The huntress and the warrior have shared in each other's strength, which will fuel a fire in a relationship that will stand the test of time.
The dancer and thief have become as thick as thieves, one would say - stubborn as they both are.
The scholar has learned the value of who he surrounds himself with and has learned much on this journey that cannot be done so behind a book.
But progressing their relationships is not all they have learned…
These are some of the most pressing and trying days the Travelers have faced, realizing one after the other that their dreams may not be what they seem to be.
That, dear listeners, is the purpose of taking such a journey:
Realizations such as these are more important than the destination;
For then, during said journey, one can shift their dreams to the right path, the one they wish to follow.
Dear listeners, the journey indeed beats the destination.
All of us have dreams, but some of us lose our paths along the way.
It is then that we must rely, not only on ourselves but on our friends, our families, our loved ones - those with which we share the deepest, most intimate bonds.
We all have dreams.
We all must accept that the true realization of said dream is not the most important aspect of following it.
No, the most important aspect is what we can learn from following it and how we can use that knowledge to better the dreams we follow.
I believe, amongst all of you, that hearing of the Travelers' trials and the moments of comfort they find within each other will help you all the more in doing what you wish to do.
We are nearing the end of this tale.
But do not worry, for I hope its lessons will live on until we next meet.
For, in faraway lands, there always waits the promise of stories to be told...
