Ruth closed her eyes as she rested her head against Harry's chest. Her eyes closed instinctively as she let herself be held by her husband. The anger and fear of a few hours earlier seemed to dissipate as she breathed him in.

"Ruth?"

"Um?"

"Its ok. We are ok."

"Yeah." She pulled back. "We got lucky this time."

"Graham brought us some clothes." Harry stated as Ruth raised an eyebrow. "Teresa packed the bag." Ruth smiled slightly, trusting her daughter in law slightly more than Graham for getting her an outfit that wouldn't make her look like a new recruit to the circus.

"Then back to the Grid?" Ruth decided as Harry raised an eyebrow. "Harry?"

"I didn't think you would be up to it. I told Ros to take charge for a while." He suddenly felt guilty, underestimating Ruth once more. She shook her head sadly as he touched the bandage covering her wounds across the front of her neck.

"I wont lie and say that I am ok. I'm not, Harry. Honestly I am so far from feeling ok that I don't know what I feel. Yes, my neck is sore. I know it'll heal but in here." She touched her temple. "I don't know. What I do know is that there is a link between the man or woman who shot Igor Antonov and Nightingale. I know there is a link with Lydia Morgan. I just have to prove its there."

"She was arrested earlier." Harry tugged his tie off as Ruth dug in the bag for her clean blouse. She smiled slightly as she saw the choice Terri had made for her. The girl had chosen well, a high neck top to hold the dressing in place. She took the black top out of the bag as Harry sat on the hospital trolley.

"I see." Ruth frowned.

"She pulled a gun on Zoe and Catherine."

"She did what?" Ruth's eyes darted to his, anger that her step daughter and friend had been threatened. Harry folded his arms as he watched her.

"She got Alec's gun off him and pulled it on the team remaining on the Grid. Alec got it back from her before anyone was hurt. She clearly has a lot of explaining to do."

"Ros will destroy her."

"Nothing more than she deserves."

"We need to know who the forth gunman is." She paused. "Or was."

"And Ros will get the information from her."

"If he's still out there. If, then there's a chance whatever Nightingale have planned is still happening. Harry, we have to go back to the Grid." She bit her lip as she watched him for a moment. The determination was still there, he knew there was no way she was not going to return to work, not when she believed her work may make a difference. He nodded once as they quietly got ready to leave the hospital.

"Morgan was in on this all along." Beth snapped as she pushed the button for the lift to come to them. Ros nodded once.

"Looks that way."

"She really thought she could use us? Use a threat against her to distract us."

"I believe there was a threat against her." Ros snapped. "Only now, she has to realise I'm the bigger threat at the moment."

Ros stepped into the lift as Beth sighed heavily before following her. The case had taken more twists and turns than any roller-coaster at Thorpe Park. She knew Dimitri was still upset by the use of his dead friend's memory against them, that he had believed for even a moment his former comrade had gone bad. She knew in her heart that if she wanted to get to the truth she had to push her personal feelings away, in that moment she wondered if that was the reason Ros had asked her to go to the interview with her. The lift came to a sudden stop as Ros seemed to straighten her back slightly more. Beth frowned, the Ice Queen she had seen more than once was back. Smirking slightly she wondered if Lydia Morgan knew what she was up against.
