Nina woke up like she's been hit by a bus. She could hardly sit up tried to observe the surroundings.

The first thing she saw was her dress she wore last night was on the chair next to her bed and her shoes under it.

"I don't even remember removing them." She mumbled to herself.

Then she realised what she was wearing at the moment. Just a t-shirt with only an underwear on the bottom. She was confused but more than that she was dehydrated. She searched for the water and started to drink it. Then she realised, next to where bottle used to stay, there was a tray with a juice and things to eat. She tried to remember how these came.

Then suddenly she remembered herself saying 'Let's go upstairs' in the lap of...

She choked on the water and started coughing when she remembered who it was.

The rest was coming to her mind very fast. She went to bar, saw him, drink with him, then she kissed him... Then proposed something else. Then she remembers coming her room with his help. Because she was really drunk.

Whole scene was in her mind now...

When they reached her room she tried to kiss him again but he placed a little kiss and said "Let's get you bed." She was very drunk and Jin didn't want her to do anything she was gonna regret.

And took her to bed and helped her removing her shoes. Actually she wasn't doing anything, he just removed them.

She pulled him to herself and lay on bed. His hands were on bed and his arms were keeping him to fall onto her.

"Your dress is wet."

She tried to sit up. He stood up and went to her wardrobe. Just picked a t-shirt and turned back.

She was already removing her dress. He helped her up after he put her head through the hole of t-shirt, turned her back and unzipped the dress. While dress was falling down, he make her wear the t-shirt completely.

After that she felt very tired and without turning, she leaned her head on his chest. He connected his hands in front of her belly to hug her.

He let out a breath when she moved her head on her very comfortable pillow, being his chest.

"Let's get a good sleep, huh?" He directed her to bed. Helped her lay down and cover her with the blanket.

She immediately fell asleep.

She was looking at the smoothie which was probably a hangover cure while having flashbacks of last night.

She couldn't even react to what she has done.

She reached for the smoothie and took a big sip. She immediately grimaced because that was horrible.

You deserve this, stupid.

She took another sip with the same expression. She also ate something.

Thankfully this was a free day for all fighters. Matches were gonna start tomorrow. So she could has her hangover in agony all day without leaving her room.

What was I thinking? She rubbed her head.

She took a shower and decided she cannot stay in room all day. She decided to go to gym.

When she arrived, she saw there was lots of people this time. Are they getting ready for the matches. She chuckled.

"Nina." She turned back to voice.

"Lars."

"You came to practice? Sorry but I don't think no place left for one more person. Plus, someone teared a hole on a punching bag, so it's definitely full inside."

She tried to act cool, because she exactly knew who she was.

"It's okay, I wouldn't work out in this crowd anyway."

"You can go to Jin's dojo though, except us, no one can enter there."

"Jin's dojo?" He had one?

"Tsk. Jin's not very talkative, is he? The dojo is upstairs. I'll take you, I was going there also."

"Oh, no need. I don't feel very energetic anyway. I'll pass for today."

"Well, this is the last day you can practice." He hold her arm and dragged her with him.

She couldn't resist and started following. She was hoping that Jin wouldn't be there.

When they arrived she was amazed with how beautiful designed this dojo was.

Then she saw Jin was standing and probably meditating.

When she was looking at him, Lars hit her shoulder with a light punch. She looked at him and he was standing with his guard up.

What is it with this guys? They spend time with people by fighting?

So she took her guard also and they started fighting. They fight like 5 minutes. Then she make him lose his balance by kicking his leg and made him fall onto his knees and locked his arms from behind.

"You should have been careful for her strategies." Jin was watching them. She just realized that he was there.

She let Lars go.

"I would call this cheating."

Jin smirked mockingly at her. She rolled her eyes.

"It's not cheating, it's just a move which doesn't belong to your fighting styles." she explained.

She was escaping her eyes from Jin's.

"Why are you here?" Jin asked to them. He thought they came to inform him on something and waited him to finish his meditation.

"Downstairs is full and someone teared the punching bag there." Nina could feel Jin's gaze is on her after the last sentence of Lars. She acted like she was observing the dojo.

"And Nina didn't know about here, that's why she's looking around like she's a newborn." She turned to him, rolled her eyes and chuckled.

"So people are using the gym now. It's good."

She couldn't look at him and was trying to find an excuse to leave.

But instead her, Lars left after he received a message.

"I'll leave too." she said with a quiet voice.

"Alright." he said and turned back to his practice.

She was confused again. Was he acting like nothing happened again? Why did it bother her? That's literally what she wanted but when he acted like this she was getting frustrated.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, fighters have been matched!

Get ready for the first battle!

The tournament officially has started.

Nina was in control room, observing and supervising everything she can.

Lars was in security room observing there and commanding the soldiers.

Eddy was in control of fighters' room.

Jin was watching the match from his special place where no one can see inside.

After 10 matches, first day of the tournament was done.

Everyone turned back to their hotels and wherever their HQ's were.

She arrived at her room and changed. Then her phone chimed.

"Come to my office. Got something to say." It was Jin. What was he gonna say? Will he talk about the thing between them? Did he decided to not act like nothing happened?

She changed back to her formal clothes. and went to his office.

"Sit." He was reading something carefully on his computer with his hand on his chin.

She sat and waited for him. Finally he stopped reading and turned to her.

He breathed in and out before starting.

"I am trying to think how would I put these into words?"

She realized he was struggling. She decided to take an action.

"Tell me why are you keep acting like nothing happened?" She asked directly to help him out of this.

He frowned, he was confused.

"Umm, I thought that was what you were doing and I didn't want to bother you. You were clearly avoiding it, Weren't you?" He was asking it genuinely.

He was right, she were. Now she didn't have anything to say.

"But that wasn't what I wanted to talk about."

Wasn't it?

She wanted slap herself. She thought he wanted to talk about this.

"Oh." now she was confused. "Then what was it?"

"You never asked me why am I doing all these to the world."

She didn't, indeed.

"I never thought you'd answer." She remembered the time she asked why he was wanting to start the tournament and he ignored the question.

"I didn't know how would you react."

"Do you now know?"

"I can guess." He was thinking about the time after she met Devil Jin and she didn't even think about resigning.

"Then tell me."

"I'll show you." He got up and went to meeting table in his room which has a holographic panel. He sit and open the panels. Then open an image of a creature.

"Do you know what it is?"

She shook her head.

"This thing might be the root of that devil gene inside me and Kazuya."

She raised her brows. Was listening him carefully.

"How do you know that?"

"I don't. It just might be. But I would try anything to get rid of these devil genes forever."

"What will you try?"

"This creature must be destroyed. But before that it must be awaken. And to wake it, the chaos is needed."

"That's why are we doing these to the world."

"Exactly. But that's not only that." He changed the image and it was photo some old runic with writings on it and the translation was written under: "When two dark stars clash in a battle, then the Azazel will be awaken"

"These two stars wouldn't be referring to some astrophysical thing, would it?"

"It refers two devil souls..."

"Kazuya and that thing you have." Nina completed the sentence. She didn't want to call him a devil.

He nodded.

"After that awaking I will face this creature and destroy it. Hopefully with the devil inside me."

She was trying to understand everything.

"And for the few months, there was a research team I have sent to Egypt. They found a tomb that might be it. My plan is to create the chaos it needs, then to fight with Kazuya. When it wake up, I will face it. There's two options: Either I kill it and end this devil power source for me and the world, or it will kill me and bring an end to this corrupted world. It works either way for me, even though I prefer the first."

"What might be the chaos it needs?"

"A war." He replied quickly. He already planned everything. "A war with the rest of the world."

"But do you think it's worth it? Will destroying it be better for the world than not waking it up in the first place? Than not creating chaos or wars?"

"I don't know the devil inside me yet. I don't know what it's capacity but I saw couple things it can do. I don't know what it really wants but I can say he wants destruction, terror and fear.

And I know what the devil inside Kazuya wants. It doesn't want to end the world like this creature. It wants the world to be his slave."

She was in thoughts, these were all hard to process.

"What I ask from you is to stand by my side."
