Hi everyone, I'm back with another chapter of DC Superhero Girls and Aura Guardian! In this chapter, you'll see a very very bad cat who turns out to be villainous! And now, on with the story!

It was another glorious day in Metropolis, as Ash, N, and Lita were helping Jessica at the pet adoption center.
Dewey: All right, team, gather round. [sighs] Okay. So today, we're gonna try to beat last year's goal and get... ...three pets adopted.
Jessica: Three? Why stop at three? I say we get all these pets adopted. Who is with me?
Ash and Lita: Yeah!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKA!
Jessica: Forever homes! Forever homes! Forever homes! That's the spirit. Now... Let's house some pets.
[dogs barking]
[panting]
[inaudible cheer]
[squawking]
[hissing]
[squeaking]
Dewey: Wow, Jess. You've got a real gift for pairing animals with families.
Jessica: Well, I believe there's a perfect owner for every pet. It's up to us to find them.
Ash: Yeah! You're really good at this, Jess!
Jessica: Thanks, Ash! And thanks again for helping me today!
Ash: No problem! It was pretty fun!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Lita: I second that!
N: Indeed!
Ash: Yep! Lita has a thing or two here with pets!
Lita: Oh, Ash [kisses his cheek]!
Pikipek: [lands on Jessica's shoulder] PIKIPEK!
Ash: [gasps] A Pikipek! [takes out Rotom Phone]
Ash's Rotom Phone: Pikipek, the Woodpecker Pokémon. A Normal and Flying type. This Pokémon feeds on berries, whose leftover seeds become the ammunition for the attacks it fires off from its mouth.
Ash: Jess, is it yours?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Jessica: Yep! Caught it the other day! [nuzzles it] And it's really cute!
Pikipek: [happy] PIKI!
Ash: That's awesome, Jess! Now you have three Pokémon!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Jessica: Yep! [gives Pikipek a Sitrus Berry] Here, Pikipek! Snack time!
Pikipek: [eating Sitrus Berry] PIKI PIKI PIKI PIKI!
Jessica: Hungry little guy, aren't you?
Pikipek: [nods] PIKI! [Bullet Seed move] PIKIPEK!
Ash: That's Bullet Seed!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lita: Whoa!
N: Impressive!
Jessica: Easy with the attack, Pikipek!
Pikipek: [lands on her shoulder] PIKIPEK!
When they went to put a few cages away in storage...
[electricity crackling]
Jessica: [gasps]
[lights switching on]
[electricity crackling]
Jessica: Hello?
[thudding in distance]
Ash: [reads danger sign] Say's here it's a cat named Dexter.
Jessica: Dexter. How did we miss you, sweetie?
Ida: Back away from that cage if you know what's good for you.
Jessica: Wha... What?
Ida: I used to think Dexter was sweet, too. [chuckles] [inhales deeply] Until the day I tried to feed him... [shows them scratch marks on arm] ...dry cat food.
Dewey: I called him Dexy. [shows them scratch marks on stomach] Big mistake.
Katie: Remember what happened when Monica touched his tail?
Monica: [going crazy] Here kitty, kitty. Meow... Meow...
Lita: [shakes her] Pull yourself together, woman!
Ash: Sheesh!
Jessica: [chuckles] Come on, you guys. He's just a cat.
Ash: Yeah! He seems harmless!
Dewey: No! He's a bad cat. And besides, it's almost his... "time."
Jessica: [gasps]
N: No...
Ash: His "time"? What does that mean?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Jessica: [whispers in his ear]
Ash: [gasps] [to Dewey] You can't be serious?!
Dewey: Very serious!
Lita: No...
Dewey: Just leave it alone.
Dex-Starr: [purring]
Jessica: Leave it alone? I don't know the meaning of the words.
[bolt clanking]
[all whimpering]
[purring]
Monica: No! That purr! Everyone, run!
Lita: Good grief!
Jessica: They don't understand you, Dexter, but I know you're a good cat.
Ash: [pets his head] Yeah! We'll help you find a good home!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Soon, Jessica put up a bunch of signs to show the cat that's up for adoption.
Ash: I know you wanna help Dexter, Jessica, but are all these signs really necessary?
Jessica: You got any better ideas?
Ash: Good point!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKA...
N: Whenever you're ready, Jessica.
Jessica: Hi, there! Interested in a sweet, adorable, cuddly little kitty?
Mother: Oh, I don't know. We're not much of an animal family.
Jessica: Well, having a cat like Dexter can teach your son all sorts of valuable life skills.
Dex-Starr: [purring from petting]
Jessica: Aw, I think he likes you.
That's when the boy was about to touch his tail!
Ash: No! Don't!
Pikachu: [scared] PIKA!
Lita: Not the tail!
Dex-Starr: [snarling]
Jessica: Wait! Please! Whoa!
Dex-Starr: [snarling]
Jessica: Whoa! Ow.
Dex-Starr: [snarling]
Jessica: [yells]
Just as the cat was about to lunge at Jessica, one of the volunteers came in and wrapped him up in a blanket.
Dewey: [panting] Jess, I told you to leave it alone! No one on Earth is going to adopt this cat!
Lita: What would you know?! Have a heart!
Ash: Yeah! What she said!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
N: Agreed! Everyone and everything deserves a chance!
Jessica: That's right!
Soon, they piled into her car to help find Dexter a good home.
Jessica: What you need is an owner with a strong will, a leader you can follow...
Dex-Starr: [meows softly]
Turns out, they had Diana in mind.
Diana: Certainly I will help this creature in need.
Jessica: I knew you'd be perfect for each other. He's strong and independent, just like you.
Diana: Fear not, Jessica. Oftentimes I cared for others' animal companions on Themyscira. I even became known as the Minotaur whisperer.
Ash: You've dealt with Minotaurs?!
Diana: Of course!
Ash: [eyes sparkle] Whoa!
Diana: [as Dexter nuzzles against her] [chuckles] See? He is pleased. [sniffles] [chuckles nervously] Oh! Ahhh! [sneezes] What is this witchcraft?
Jessica: Oh no!
Diana: [sneezing]
Jessica: You're allergic to cats!
N: Oh my!
Diana: [sneezing uncontrollably]
Jessica: Dexter, no! Get off of her! Get off!
Diana: [muffled] Remove this demon at once!
Lita: [squirts Dexter with spray bottle] Dexter! Stop that!
Dex-Starr: [hisses]
Jessica: Maybe what you need is a more traditional environment, a family structure to make you feel safe.
Dex-Starr: [purring softly]
Babs: [squealing] Jess, I've always wanted a cat! I'll call him Batkitten.
Jessica: Why not Batcat?
Babs: No, that's dumb. Batkitten!
Jessica: Oh, I think we've found you the perfect owner, Dexter. Er... Batkitten. [chuckles]
Dex-Starr: [purring]
Babs: [nervously] Uh, careful, Batkitten, that's one of mommy's favorite Batman figurines!
Ash: Wow, Babs! How long have you been collecting these for?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Babs: I don't remember! I lost count!
Dex-Starr: [purring maliciously]
Babs: [gasps, grunts] Phew. That was a close one, huh? [gasping, grunting]
Jessica: Dexter, stop that!
Babs: Batkitten, don't even think about it. It took me thirty-two hours of painstaking-[yells] Batkitten, no! [thuds]
Rockruff (Ace Jr.): [playful bark] RUFF! RUFF!
Babs: Ace Jr.! A little help, please!
Rockruff (Ace Jr.): ROCK! [to Dex-Starr] [defensive bark] ROCK! ROCKRUFF!
Dex-Starr: [hisses]
That's when Dexter lunged at Ace Jr.!
Rockruff (Ace Jr.): [scared] ROCK! [hides behind Babs] ROCKRUFF!
Babs: It's okay, Ace Jr.! I gotcha!
Soon...
Jessica: Maybe what you need is a real animal lover.
Garth: He's cool with fish, right?
Dex-Starr: [burps]
Jessica: Okay, so I have no reason to think this next one will be the perfect owner, but you never know!
Hal: Oh, sure I'll take him, I love these things. I'll teach him to catch a tennis ball, let him do his thing on a few hydrants.
Dex-Starr: [purring]
Lita: [sweat drops] Uh, Hal? You're thinking of dogs.
Hal: This isn't a dog?
Ash: [facepalms] Good grief!
Pikachu: [sighs] PIKA PIKA...
Hal: No matter! We're gonna bro-down hard. Right, D-Money? Who's my D-Money?
[door slams]
Jessica: [sighs in relief]
Dexter: [snarling]
Hal: [screaming painfully]
[alarm blaring]
Hal: Grovyle, do something!
Grovyle: GRO!
Jessica: [groans in dismay] Don't worry, Dexter. We just need to cast a wider net, show the world how amazing you are!
Ash: How though?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Jessica: You'll see!
["Who's That Pokémon?" time]
[as a silhouette shows a cat Pokémon]
Ash and Jessica: Who's that Pokémon?
Ash and Jessica: It's Purugly!
[as the silhouette reveals Purugly]
Purugly: PURUG!
[End]
Turns out, what Jessica had in mind was dressing up Dexter and making a video of him.
Dex-Starr: [growling]
Jessica: Smile, Dexter. Once the world sees how amazingly cute you are, you'll get adopted in no time.
Ash: [to N] [sweat drops] This is kinda weird!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] [agreeing] PIKACHU!
N: [sweat drops] Indeed!
Lita: [sweat drops] And how!
Olivia: Aw, look at his little hat.
Claire: He's so cute. Can we get him, Mommy, can we?
That's when the people started crowding around Dexter.
Lita: Wow! I can't believe that worked!
Jessica: [grunts, gasps] nervously] Let's just...
[all cooing]
Jessica: ...give him a little space.
Amanda: So cute.
Jessica: Maybe not quite so close,
[indistinct chatter]
Jessica: [chuckles nervously]
Greg: Oh, so cute.
Claire: Listen to him purr, Mommy! I saw him first.
Leah: I want him!
Dex-Starr: [purring]
Then there was trouble!
Ash: Uh oh!
Dexter's eyes started to glow red!
Then, deep within space, a strange red light came crashing towards Earth, and hit the pet shop, as Dexter was hit by it, and began levitating!
Claire: Look, Mommy. He's levitating.
That's when a power ring started glowing and floating towards Dexter from the smoking crater.
N: [gasps]
Lita: What is that?!
Jessica: Wait. Is that...a power ring?
Ash: But it's red!
That's when a burst of red energy shot out.
[all screaming]
Jessica: [grunts] [groans]
Dex-Starr: [telepathic] So...you want to play dress-up with the sweet little kitty-cat, eh? How do you like...this outfit?
Jessica: [whimpering] D... Dexter?
Dex-Starr: [telepathic] Dexter? [chuckles maliciously] I'm afraid not. From this day forward I shall be known as Dex-Starr of the Red Lantern Corps!
Ash: [gasps] You can use telepathy?!
Dex-Starr: [telepathic] That's right, boy! I can!
Jessica: Red Lantern Corps?
Dex-Starr: Indeed. Our members are chosen from the angriest beings in the universe, and our rings are fueled by the red light of rage!
Jessica: Oh, it was the bowtie, wasn't it? I knew that was too much.
Dex-Starr: [hissing angrily]
Jessica: Okay, Jimmy, we just have to get that ring off of his...
[running footsteps receding]
Jessica: [sighs] ...tail.
Lita: [sarcastic] Talk about courage!
Jessica: [gasps] [whimpering] Nice kitty...
Dex-Starr: [growling] [telepathic] [angrily] I am not a nice kitty! [retching]
That's when he spewed lava!
Ash: Whoa!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lita: YIKES!
That's when they all ran!
Jessica: Dexter, please! Let's talk about this!
N: You must calm down!
Dex-Starr: [telepathic] Silence! Wearing collars. Eating kibble. Forcing me into a forever home. My forever home is suffering! My forever home is pain! And soon, yours will be, too! [retching lava]
Jessica: [grunts] Everyone, out the back! Go!
N: Evacuate at once!
That's when they made a dash again.
Dex-Starr: Cat and mouse, kiddies? Very well. Come back, scaredy-cat. [laughs maliciously] Meow?
Jessica: [gasps]
Dex-Starr: [purring] You couldn't just leave it alone, could you? No, you don't know the meaning of those words!
Ash: Dex-Starr, stop this! She didn't wanna leave you alone because it was almost your "time"!
Dex-Starr: What do you mean my "time"?!
Ash: No time to explain! Aura up!
Then, Ash transformed into Aura Guardian!
Aura Guardian: [to Lita] [holds out his hand] Ready, my beautiful Sailor Scout?
Lita: Ready, my Aura Man! [pulls out her power stick] Jupiter Crystal Power!
Then, Lita transformed into Sailor Jupiter!
Finally, Jessica transformed into Green Lantern.
Dex-Starr: [chuckles] Well, then... It appears someone else has some new outfits, too.
Sailor Jupiter: [smirks] Impressed, kitty?
Dex-Starr: [telepathic] You could use a little more color!
Aura Guardian: Well I think she's pretty just the way she is!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Sailor Jupiter: Aww! Thanks, Aura [kisses his cheek]!
Green Lantern (Jessica): Focus! It's over, Dex-Starr. Hand me the ring.
Dex-Starr: Never! You shall pay for your crimes against felinity.
That's when he spewed lava again, as Green Lantern created a cage to hold it.
Aura Guardian: [tosses PokéBall] Lycanroc, Stone Edge!
Lycanroc: [appearing] ROC! [Stone Edge move] ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW ROC!
Dex-Starr: [pained growl]
Aura Guardian: Yeah! That's showing him, Lycanroc!
Lycanroc: ROC!
Green Lantern: [tosses PokéBalls] Duosion, Psybeam! Litwick, Flame Burst! Pikipek, Drill Peck!
Duosion: [Psybeam move] DUOSION!
Litwick: [Flame Burst move] LIT...WICK!
Pikipek: [Drill Peck move] PIKI...PEK!
Dex-Starr: [pained growl] [telepathic] You pests!
Aura Guardian: Give up, putty tat?
Dex-Starr: Never!
That's when Dex-Starr blasted energy at Litwick and Pikipek!
Litwick: [pained] WICK!
Pikipek: [pained] PIKI!
Green Lantern (Jessica): [gasps] Litwick! Pikipek! Return!
She then returned them from further harm.
Sailor Jupiter: Sparkling Wide Pressure!
Dex-Starr: [electrocuted]
Aura Guardian: Nice shot, Jupiter!
Sailor Jupiter: Thanks, sweetie!
That's when Dex-Starr started chasing the heroes again.
Dex-Starr: You could never escape me. I am the ultimate hunter!
That's when Green Lantern created a cat toy, making Dex-Starr's feline instincts kick in.
Dex-Starr: [coos] [meows] [plays with cat toy] [meows]
Aura Guardian: [snickers] Oh man...
Pikachu: [snickers] PIKA PI!
Sailor Jupiter: [snickers] This is too rich!
Dex-Starr: [frustrated snarling] [destroys cat toy] Enough! Let's see how you like being toyed with. [growling]
That's when he sliced open bags of kitty litter and started running around, creating a massive sandstorm in the store!
Aura Guardian: [coughing] It's like he can use the move, Sandstorm!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Sailor Jupiter: I can't see anything!
N: [coughs] We must do something!
Dex-Starr: Oh, Green Lantern. [meows, laughs] Is this what you're looking for? You'll have to be faster than that. Over here...
Green Lantern (Jessica): [grunts] [tries to grab ring on his tail]
Dex-Starr: Let's stop pussyfooting around. [shoots laser at her]
Green Lantern (Jessica): [grunts, groans]
Aura Guardian: You guys, the exit! Let's move!
N, Sailor Jupiter and Green Lantern (Jessica): Right!
Soon, they escaped from the store, where nearly half the parking lot was full of sand.
Green Lantern (Jessica): [coughing]
Dex-Starr: And now, Green Lantern, it seems it is almost your "time." Then, this whole stinking planet will be my forever home! [growling] [attacks them with flaming construct fangs]
Aura Guardian: Look out!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Duosion: [protects them] DUO!
That made Duosion take the hit.
Duosion: [pained] DUOSION!
Green Lantern (Jessica): [gasps] Duosion!
Dex-Starr: [laughs] [telepathic] That takes care of that pesky blob!
That's when a bright light washed over Duosion! It was evolving!
Aura Guardian: Duosion's evolving!
N: Incredible!
Soon, the process was complete and in Duosion's place was a new Pokémon.
Reuniclus: REUNICLUS!
Aura Guardian: Whoa! Reuniclus!
Jessica's Rotom Phone: Reuniclus has been newly registered to your Pokédex!
Green Lantern (Jessica): My sweet Duosion... You evolved!
Reuniclus: REUNICLUS!
Aura Guardian: And I think it learned a new move!
Reuniclus: [using Psychic on Dex-Starr] NICLUS!
Dex-Starr: [pained meows]
Aura Guardian: That was Psychic!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Green Lantern (Jessica): Wow! Great job, Reuniclus!
Reuniclus: [Drain Punch move] REU!
Dex-Starr: [pained meows]
Aura Guardian: And that was Drain Punch!
Green Lantern (Jessica): Wow!
Green Lantern then grew a determined look on her face.
Green Lantern (Jessica): Reuniclus, hold Dex-Starr in place with Psychic!
Reuniclus: [Psychic move] NICLUS!
Green Lantern then created a blanket to hold Dex-Starr in place.
Green Lantern (Jessica): [gasps] Give me the ring!
Dex-Starr: [telepathic] [furious] My tail! [snarling]
That's when he started rampaging all over the parking lot, destroying things, as Green Lantern hung on to his tail, as the Red Lantern cat crashed into the pet shop.
[ring surging]
Luckily, Green Lantern was able to get the ring off his tail.
Green Lantern (Jessica): [nuzzles Reuniclus] We did it, Reuniclus!
Reuniclus: [happy] NICLUS! [points to Dex-Starr] REU!
Dex-Starr: [purring softly]
Aura Guardian: Oh, Dex.
Pikachu: [sad] PIKA.
Sailor Jupiter: Poor thing.
Green Lantern (Jessica): Aw, Dex. What are we gonna do with you?
Soon...
Jessica: [softly] Okay, Dexter. It's almost time...
[bell dings in distance]
Jessica: [excitedly] ...for dinner!
Turns out, Jessica decided to adopt Dexter!
Jessica: Well, what do you think? Am I the perfect owner or what?
Dexter: [knocks food away]
Jessica: [gasps] Oh, you!
Reuniclus: [sighs] REU...
[Recap Time]
Babs: It's recap time!
Ash: Hey, girls! Who'd'ya meet today?
[as two Pokémon cards were placed in a binder]
Jessica: Pikipek and Reuniclus!
[as the screen shows Pikipek]
Ash: Pikipek is a Normal and Flying type found in the Alola Region! They're the perfect Pokémon for Alolan Trainers to catch when they're first starting out!
Jessica: And it's quite the eater with berries!
Pikipek: [Bullet Seed move] PIKIPEK!
Ash: And it does that after eating the berries!
