Chapter 25: Full of Tricks
"Wow… so pretty…" Compa said in awe as she looked at Dual Heart. "She is so different from her normal form!"
Yeah, she is really amazing…" IF agreed as she also looked at Dual Heart with awe. She is also trying to pull Plutia up, who is keeping one eye open and clutching her stomach.
"W-What…!?" My eyes widened as I looked at Dual Heart from top to bottom. And after a few seconds, I just felt depressed after what I saw. "W-Why…!?"
"Um… Is there something wrong?" Dual Heart asked, looking a little confused. "Is there something on my face?"
"I-It's nothing…" I then floated down to the ground and slowly just curled up in a ball. "Why…? When I transform, I get a smaller chest. And when Listoria and Shift transform, they get larger chest sizes than me." I sighed depressingly. "Centauri doesn't count because he's different. So then why am I different…?"
"Please focus, Sapphire…" Silver Heart told me before completely looking away. It obviously seems like she's ignoring me while saying it.
"Aw… Even Listoria doesn't care about me…" I muttered to myself. "She just completely ignored me… Why is she ignoring me…?"
Sapphire has mastered the "Downer" Affinity!
Dual Heart's eyes widened in surprise. "What was…? Hey! Now's not the best time for that!" She groaned as about to wind up and slap me on the head and then…
Whack*
I felt something hit my head rather hard. "Ow! What was that for!?" I said before I then turned to who smacked my head. It was Kumori with a paper fan in hand with a look of annoyance.
"Lady Sapphire! Stop doing that again!" Kumori said before smacking my head again. "Are you trying to get yourself killed!? Get up!"
"Wait, what…?" I was about to say something before she smacked my head again. "Okay, okay, I'll get up! I'll get up!" I groaned as I rubbed my head. "Jeez… you don't have to keep smacking my head…"
"I feel like I just watched a comedy routine…" IF muttered before turning to Compa. "Hey Compa, could you help me with Plutia?"
"Sure thing!" Compa then pull up Plutia. Plutia was groaning a little. "Are you okay?" To which Plutia just nodded as an answer.
"Cheer up Sapphire…" Olive Heart told me while shaking his head. "Why do you feel inadequate about your chest? You're perfect for who you are…"
"Ah… okay… um… Plutia? What was Peashy's CPU Form called?" I asked as I turned to Plutia.
"Yellow Heart…" Plutia told me, looking like she was trying to recall something.
I cockily smirked at Yellow Heart. "Don't worry! I'm going to take her down before she even moves an inch!" I then charged directly towards her with my weapon in hand.
"I meant that mostly physically wise!" Olive Heart yelled at me. "I don't want you to get arrogant or cocky! She's stronger than she looks!"
I didn't really listen when I was charging in since internally, I know they're going to back me up. So I thrust my rapier towards Yellow Heart as I called out my attack.
"Triple Point Attack!"
I thrust three separate strikes towards Yellow Heart. One hit Yellow Heart on the arm, one hit the leg. Unfortunately, the third strike missed as she flew up. As I was doing that, Dual Heart showed up right next to me with Silver Heart following closely behind which kinda surprised me. Dual Heart then flew up towards her, ready to strike.
"Cross Divide!"
Dual Heart strikes Yellow Heart with a sideways overhead slash with the upper blade, which she nearly dodged. She then followed it up with an underhand slash with the lower blade. This hit her other leg, which made Yellow Heart cry out in pain.
This is when Yellow Heart tries to attack Olive Heart out of desperation. Fortunately, he moved out of the way and started shooting at the wing processors with his rifle. But then, I suddenly realized something big.
"Wait, wait, wait! Stop the fight!" I said rather abruptly, to which everyone turned to where I was. "I just realized something huge!"
Olive Heart stopped shooting for a little bit and sighed in annoyance. "Unless it's important whatever you want to say can wait!"
"But it is important!" I exclaimed before looking at Plutia. "Hey, um, Plutia? Are you okay with what I want to say?"
Plutia looked a little confused with that question. I guess she didn't know what I was implying. "Ummmm, sure?"
"Um, okay…" I took a deep breath before saying what I wanted to say. "Plutia? Could you transform for us?"
"That's what you want to say? To ask Plutia to transform?" Olive Heart looked like he was in thought for a while before his eyes widened in surprise. "Wait… TRANSFORM!?"
Silver Heart looked at me, baffled by what I just said. "What are you talking about!? Are you saying that Plutia can transform!?"
Dual Heart, who looked a little surprised, just nodded to that. "I had a feeling that she wasn't normal. So she was a CPU to, huh…"
"Um, Sappy? Are you sure you want me to transform?" Plutia asked me, putting her finger on her cheek in thought.
"Sure, if you want…" I replied. "I mean, it would be a big help if you did."
"Okaaaay…" Plutia said before she smiled rather sadistically and chuckled under her breath. "Because I'll have to punish her for making me worried."
"Wait, what?" Olive Heart looked like he was a little caught off guard. "What does she mean by…?"
A bright light suddenly envelopes her. In place of Plutia, Iris Heart stood in her place with a rather devious smirk as she looked to where I was.
"Oh my, putting me on the spot like this~" Iris Heart said. "Ordering me around like a little dog… I might have to teach you to know your place…"
"Ummm… Could you do that later?" Dual Heart asked rather carefully. Iris Heart turned her attention towards Dual Heart with a rather observant yet devious look. Instead of being scared, Dual Heart just stared her down.
"Hey… we have a small issue here." Olive Heart spoke up, trying to catch both of their attention. "Could you girls please stop staring each other down?"
Yeah, could both focus on the fight instead of gaze lovingly at each other?" Silver Heart asked rather coldly.
Dual Heart just looked towards her with a glare before looking back at Yellow Heart, refusing to answer. This made Kumori, who's just recovered from the fatigue, stare at the 5 CPUs with concern. Iris Heart, however, stepped in front of her.
"How about I 'deal' with Peashy? Okay?" Iris Heart asked as she looked towards me. Though her words sound threatening, her eyes seem pleading or even that she wants to fight her. She then points her sword towards Arfoire. "You should also focus your attention towards her, right?"
I looked to where Arfoire was and well, she looked disinterested in all of this. Her arms were crossed, she was looking to the side, it was like she didn't even pay attention at all. Actually, she looked that was ever since we started fighting Yellow Heart
"Yeah, she's right…" Olive Heart agreed with her. He also looks towards where Arfoire is. "Alright then, go and deal with your friend while we deal with her."
Iris Heart just smirked as charged towards Yellow Heart, who instead of attacking her, flew in the opposite direction. As they left, I thought I heard a lot of whipping sounds but it was probably my imagination.
"That was… interesting…" Silver Heart muttered before summoning out a black sword. "Well then, I'll be the one to defeat her!" She exclaimed as she then charged towards Arfoire.
"Listoria! Wait—!" Olive Heart exclaimed. However, Silver Heart didn't listen to him and swung her sword toward Arfoire. But Arfoire blocked it with a spear and gave a mocking smirk on her face.
"Did you really think I would have left myself open?" Arfoire asked in a mocking tone.
"Of course…" Silver Heart responded as she kept her sword locked with Arfoire's spear. "Arfoire, right? If I defeat you, Peashy should be released from your control, right?" Although it was very quiet, I heard a little chuckle from Arfoire. That made Silver Heart push her sword even more. "What's so funny?"
It seems that everyone heard that as well since they all seem to be on guard. Olive Heart aimed his gun, ready to shoot if Arfoire does anything funny. Dual Heart readies her dual blades as well. Kumori, Compa, and IF watched her intently and I just stood there and watched.
"Let me ask you this?" Arfoire asked, still keeping her mocking tone. "Do you really think I can undo it? Do you really think that I'm in control of her? Or is someone else that's pulling the strings?"
"Of course it's you! Isn't that—!"
"Then you really are naive…" Arfoire interrupted Silver Heart as she kept her sword in a deadlock. "After all, I'm not really in control here… But, of course, you wouldn't believe me if I told you…"
"Of course I don't… That's a lie…" Silver Heart said rather angrily. "I know it because you're lying…"
"Really? if you really don't believe me, then I should outright say this…" Arfoire just smirked before dropping a huge bombshell on all of us. "Your nation… thinks you're a traitor…"
Silver Heart's eyes widened in shock "W-What…!? What did you just…?"
Kumori's eyes suddenly widened in realization. "Lady Listoria! Get away from her! She's going to—!"
"Heh. Too late~!" Arfoire suddenly grabbed onto Silver Heart's arm and dark electricity flowed out from her body. Silver Heart screamed out in pain and although Olive Heart started to shoot at Arfoire, she quickly put up a magic shield.
That strange electricity made Silver Heart drop to her knees and instantly transform back to her human form, which went limped. Then Arfoire tossed Listoria to the side. Dual Heart suddenly rushed her, coming for an overhead strike but she also shields that as well.
"What did you do?" Dual Heart asked angrily as she backs away from Arfoire.
"Oh? Do you really want to know?" Arfoire asked mockingly. "I just copy some of her powers. Though, she was just a cocky little weakling that doesn't know her place! Also…" She then looked at Kumori. "I'm pretty sure that control had already taken affect!"
Olive Heart just looked at Arfoire with the interest of what she just said. "I see… So, would you like to fight me?" He said as he pointed one of his swords.
"How about… no." Arfoire said as I was about to rush her from but she jumped away from my attack. "I have this party to attend to and you three are invited." She threw three envelopes and something rather shiny towards me. Somehow, I was able to grab all of them and looked at them closely. Then my eyes wandered to the thing that she just threw at me.
"This is… a Key Fragment…" I exclaimed in shock. "Why did you…?"
All Arfoire did was smirk. "Now then, Trick! Deal with these cretants for me!"
Suddenly, a large, yellow armored-like being with red trimming dropped in front of us. His head looked like a large lizard with green eyes and a round, red nose. He has a rather large mouth that has drooling with sharp teeth and a very long tongue. He mostly likes a really fat lizard but with horns on the side of his forehead and red spiky hair.
"Ooh! Where are my pretty little girls?" Trick said rather creepily as he looked towards us with a look of disgust. "Bleh! There are only these old, ugly, haggards here!"
"Huh!?" My eyes widened as I looked at the two fellow CPUs. "Did this guy call us old!?"
"Seriously, Sappy?" Dual Heart sighed in exasperation. "Out of all things he said, you noticed that?!"
I just chuckled awkwardly as both IF and Compa just snickered at that. Even Kumori smirked at that as well.
"Well… compared to most people, we are old…" Centauri told me before looking at Trick. "Now, I want you to explain very carefully by what you mean by 'my little girls…'"
"Of course!" Trick said rather cheerfully as he chuckled. And if he wasn't creepy before, this just tops it off. "Their small stature… their cute little faces…"
That's when we all heard something snap. We were looking at Olive Heart whose face was full of rage and fury. "YOU ARE GOING TO BE UNRECOGNIZABLE WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU! YOU DISGUSTING FU—!"
Kumori then just looked at the screen and smiled awkwardly. "Okay, I'm just going to censor that out… Sorry if I was a little abrupt about… that…" She looks at Olive Heart screaming as he starts charging in and just chuckled awkwardly. "Gotta protect those kiddie's eyes or something…"
Ignoring what Kumori just said, we all just watched as Olive Heart kept attacking CFW Trick, though attacking was an understatement. And I'm pretty sure the way he's been attacking Trick would easily raise the ratings of this story. So I just looked at Dual Heart awkwardly and said. "Hey… um… do you want to help him or something?"
Dual Heart just nodded. "Yeah, I can step in. Though…" She looks to where Trick was at, who is still fighting Olive Heart. "With this guy, I guess it will be more 'we' than I." When Dual Heart closed her eyes, this confused me a little bit until a brief flash of light envelops her. Who stood in her place was not her human form but two Dual Hearts. One had red hair, accents on her processor, and wing processors. The other one was the same, but blue.
My eyes widened in surprise. "What the—!?"
"Heh. How about you mess with someone else, you tongue for brains!" Dual Heart R exclaimed as she grinned and rushed towards them.
Dual Heart B sighed as she shakes her head. "Why do you have to be so reckless?" She muttered before glancing at Kumori and smiled. "Please step back. We'll take it from here." She flew in with her other half. While we were all just confused.
Suddenly, the red Dual Heart started to cheer which snapped us out of our confusion. "That's it! Beat living crap out of him! Rip it's tongue out!"
The blue Dual Heart just shook her and sighed. "How are we the same person again?" She asks, grabbing her other half's attention.
The red half just shrugged. "No idea. But you're the smart one and I'm the one that's good at fighting!"
"The blue half just rolled her eyes. "Then how about you focus on that?" The red half huffed as she finally charged in.
"Out of the way, Olive Heart!" Dual Heart R exclaims as she readies her attack. "Now! Critical Flush!"
Dual Heart R suddenly starts moving at high speeds, delivering a slash at the front of Trick before suddenly ending up behind him and delivering a second more powerful blow to the back, which both hit. Fortunately, Olive Heart was able to dodge it and went back to brutalizing. I can even hear Trick cries about something but I didn't care to listen.
I just kept thinking over and over on how the heck Dual Heart did that. I shook that thought off before Kumori then tapped me on the shoulder.
"Yes, what is it?" I asked her, giving her my attention.
"Why aren't you using what I gave you?" Kumori asked. "Isn't it a bit easier to use it?"
"This?" I suddenly took out the rapier Kumori gave me beforehand. "Why do you want me to use it?"
"Yeah!" Compa exclaimed as she repeated what I said earlier. "Why do you want her to use it?"
"Compa… You don't have to repeat her…" IF muttered, shaking her head.
"No time… Use that disc and insert into the slot…" Kumori instructed me, before slightly realizing what she just said. "And I know that it sounds really weird when reading this but please trust me!"
"O-Okay…" I muttered as I took out the red disc and inserted it into the slot. Suddenly, a swirl of fire wrapped around the blade. "Wait, what the—!?"
That's all for now! Actually, I'm rewriting some of the chapters so it makes more sense. Like I'm planning on editing the entire Lastation arc, the beginning of the Leanbox arc and some of the Lowee arc. Either, Please Review, Follow and Favorite, And Stay Safe!
