Dark authority chapter 27: Depths of power.
Antimatter pulled out his two scythes and violently charged and Yellow and Blue causing Blue to dodge and Yellow to attempt to block Antimatter's scythe, which she did successfully and the Yellow and Blue entered a lock with Antimatter who began to just demonically laugh.
*Athens, Greece*
The trio docked at a harbor and exited to find the artifact to complete the tournament. While they were walking through the city streets they were met with odd looks from the citizens. It was obvious they've never seen gems before and the trio didn't care. Eventually they entered a marketplace and saw the blue diamond-shaped artifact for sale at one of the stands.
Corrosive: Hey you!
Dimitri (The stand owner): Hello there, is there anything you want to purchase.
Corrosive pointed towards the artifact.
Dimitri: Does this artifact belong to you.
Corrosive: Yes.
Dimitri: Now I know you're lying, six other girls came before you saying it was an heirloom.
Steven: How much.
Dimitri: 12,000 dollars.
Steven: 12,000 dollars!
Dimitri: This is the minimum, if you can't afford it then get lost.
The trio walked away from the stand.
Corrosive: I'm going to butcher him into a human steak!
Jasper: Woah man, I know you're violent but there no need for that here.
Steven: Then we have to steal it.
Corrosive: Okay, I see where you're going. I'll provide a distraction.
Corrosive fetched a can of gasoline from a man who was talking on the phone and didn't notice Corrosive take it. Corrosive then poured the gasoline all over this building and using his jamadhar and his guandao he caused a spark and ignited the gasoline. Of course the people in the streets all went to go check out what was going on. The trio then made their way back to the marketplace and sure enough Dimitri's stand was vacant so Corrosive grabbed the artifact but he also took a few more items. He then went to the stands next to him and began to take more items.
Steven: Hey, what are you doing?
Corrosive: If we just robbed the artifact or just that stand the shopkeeper would know it was us, so by doing this it'll look like it was a normal thief.
The group then ran out of the area and stopped in a nearby alleyway.
Corrosive: Okay that's artifact number two.
The group then saw a yellow colored meteor hit the top of mount Olympus. Corrosive then looked at his datapad.
Corrosive: That's the third artifact.
Jasper: Well that was fast.
Steven: How did it come so fast. It took a whole day for the blue one to show up.
Corrosive: As the value of the artifacts increase the faster they come to earth.
Steven: Okay, so I guess it's time for some mountain cli-
?: Look who it is.
The trio turned around and saw the crystal gems along with Greg.
Pearl: Steven, you are so grounded.
Jasper: How did you even get here? Let alone figure out Steven is with us?
Peridot: Simple, I noticed as soon as the tournament began Steven disappeared and I also noticed Jasper and Corrosive's campsite was vacant but I also saw the tracks of Steven's shoes in the sand to where you guys left the shore. And well, I saw a blue meteor fly over Greece so I simply needed to track you here.
Steven: Heh, I'm making my own choices and I'm going to finish the tournament.
Greg began to walk up to Steven.
Greg: No Steven you are coming home rig-
Corrosive stepped in front of Greg and pushed him away.
Corrosive: The boy has made his choice and I am not going to fork him over.
The gems materialized their weapons.
Corrosive materialized his guandao but unexpectedly he stuck Jasper, poofing her.
Corrosive: No more distractions.
He then turned to Steven.
Corrosive: Climb, get to the top of the mountain and retrieve the artifact, I'll keep them busy!
Steven began to run off towards mount Olympus and Corrosive turned towards the gems.
Peridot: Why would you help him?
Garnet: We'll figure that out later. Greg get after him!
Greg complied and ran off in Steven's direction and the gems turned to face their foe.
Corrosive: *Sigh* This again?
*Dark authority citadel*
Antimatter swung quickly and violently at Blue who kept blocking his strikes with her staff and then Antimatter pushed blue onto a balcony and before Antimatter could strike Yellow sliced off the part of the balcony Antimatter was standing on and he fell but not before he used his telekinesis to pull the Blue and Yellow down with him. They then fell towards the ground and Antimatter and Blue stuck the landing while Yellow landed flat on her face. Blue swung at Antimatter with her staff at which he backflipped away and Yellow who got up Attempted to surprise Antimatter with a quick strike at which Antimatter blocked with his left scythe while using the right to swing at Blue. The two diamonds then tried to attack him at the same time but Antimatter front flipped over Yellow and as a result Blue accidently hit Yellow with her staff. Antimatter then just used telekinesis to push Yellow into a wall and turned his attention to blue. Blue just charged at Antimatter who matrix dodged her first attack and parried her second attack and then swept blue off of her feet and brought down his scythes onto her right hip forcing her onto the ground and causing her right hip to bleed. Blue then rolled sideways and got back up and clutched her right hip and swung her staff each time having it blocked by Antimatter. Antimatter then began to press the attack and began to flip around and began to mildly cut Blue many times and finally he stopped but he then did 1140 degree spin and split her in half. He then used telekinesis to push the two parts of blue which already were cracking into the throne room. In the throne room the gem soldiers and White saw Blue's form that was split in two poof. The gems warriors were then completely demoralized while the gem inquisitor's and white were shocked.
White Diamond: Take me to the balcony.
Three gem warriors and a gem inquisitor grabbed White diamond who had no legs and only one arm left and took her to the balcony and saw Yellow walking towards Antimatter.
Yellow: Why? Why did you do this.
Antimatter: *Demonic screeching*
Yellow Diamond: Oh right. I can't understand you!
Antimatter put his second scythe away and then enhanced himself with speed. Yellow then did the same and they charged at each other with supernatural speed and struck at each other three times. Antimatter then used wave to catch Yellow by surprise and caused her to be knocked into a wall which knocked her onto the floor. Almost in an instant Antimatter jumped and tried to attack Yellow who immediately blocked the strike and and in response Antimatter flipped and tried to strike which Yellow then parried. Antimatter then spun his scythe and began to violently strike at Yellow who also struck at him violently and their speed was still enhanced and from the balcony White could only describe seeing yellow and black blurs clashing at each other. Eventually White then saw the black blur go on top of the yellow blur and it revealed that Antimatter jumped on Yellow's head and Antimatter flipped off and they both entered a defensive stance.
White Diamond: Yellow, catch!
Yellow turned around and saw White using her remaining arm to throw her trident to Yellow which she caught and she saw Antimatter pull his second scythe and the two began to strike at each other so fast that 20 strikes were performed in a second. Eventually the two entered a lock.
Yellow Diamond: Surrender!
Antimatter then backflipped away from Yellow. Antimatter decided to just end this quick and he sprouted two more arms and pulled out a spear and a sword he collected from gems he defeated. He then jumped at Yellow sending a massive flurry of strikes and then he eventually was able to slice off Yellow's arm that held White's trident.
Yellow Diamond: AUURRRGHHH!
Antimatter then plunged his spear and sword into Yellow's chest and used his scythe to cut off her other arm. He then kicked her leg causing her to fall on one knee and he began to feast upon her life force. Antimatter drained Yellow to an inch of death and he then poofed her. He then put his spear and sword into his gem and fused his arms back into two and then grabbed Yellow's sword and White's trident and took Yellow's gemstone and flew back onto the baloney and he threw Yellow's gemstone in front of White and all the gems began to step back and even Strawberry became afraid. The gems knew they shouldn't try anything because they'd either be mopped up by Antimatter or his six guards.
White Diamond: Grr!
Antimatter put his scythes away along with the diamond's weapons and entered his robot suit.
Antimatter: There was no reason to fight.
White Diamond: Why are you doing this.
Antimatter: I told you before, the dark authority was a failsafe in case you betrayed me.
Strawberry Quartz: But isn't an army of this scale kind of overdoing it?
Antimatter: There is another reason for this.
After Yellow and Blue reformed he told them the other reason he created this army.
Yellow Diamond: Oh.
Blue Diamond: So you're preparing.
Antimatter: Yes.
White Diamond then finally repaired herself.
White Diamond: Still, what's to say it'll happen.
Antimatter: Better to be safe then sorry.
Yellow Diamond: Then why destroy our superweapon?
Antimatter: It uses positive energy only negative energy will really do anything.
White Diamond: Okay, thank you for that info, better yet we'll start constructing more ships to help.
Antimatter: Look everyone here needs to spread the word but keep this information away from Steven.
White Diamond: Agreed. Why didn't you tell us this before?
Antimatter: Your ego wouldn't allow you to think you need help in this.
White Diamond: What do you recommend?
Antimatter: Bigger fleets, better training, more fortifications and defense fleets on gem controlled planets along with better armor and weapons.
White Diamond: Normally I'd dismiss that much caution but with what you told us we're going to need it.
The diamonds along with the other gems exited the building and hopped back into the mech and went back to homeworld.
*Athens, Greece*
Corrosive was attacking the gems.
Pearl: What do you want with Steven?
Corrosive: He is only a means to an end!
The gems stopped attacking and began to ask questions.
Bismuth: What means?
Corrosive: A means to get what I want!
Garnet: Aren't you capable of getting the artifacts on your own.
Corrosive: I want the artifacts and Pink Diamond to die! I'm using him to take point on the road ahead and maybe be killed by something.
Pearl: Why, he's just a boy!
Corrosive: Pink Diamond made my life hell! She and Blue were worse then White!
Pearl: She was the nicest diamond, what are you talking about?
Corrosive: She tried to get rid of my hatred and used me to do tedious tasks.
Amethyst: Why do you hate her for that?
Corrosive: She goes against all my principles and she liked it. Hell she even outright stated that she had sort of a crush on me and I would've believed if my brother didn't recognize that she was lying in order for me to become less angry.
Garnet: What is it with you and hatred?
Corrosive: Hatred makes me stronger, it fuels me and drives me to be a great warrior.
Amethyst decided to mess with Corrosive.
Amethyst: But I have a crus-
Almost in an instant she was shot with red lightning.
Corrosive: ARE YOU TRYING TO MESS WITH ME!
Pearl: Look, give us Steven and we'll leave you alone.
Corrosive: I can't force him to leave the tournament-
?: Oh my. I didn't expect to see you.
Corrosive: Fuck!
The gems turned around to see an aquamarine but not the one they met before. This one was wearing a high minister uniform.
Corrosive: High minister aquamarine!
High minister aquamarine: If it isn't the mockery of Gemkind.
Corrosive: I'm a male, deal with it!
High minister aquamarine: We gems are supposed to mimic the beauty of our diamonds and you shame that tradition.
Corrosive: I wish I could kill you!
High minister aquamarine: But you can't, I'm in this tournament and even if you weren't I have high favor with White diamond and you'd probably be demoted.
Corrosive: Grr.
High minister aquamarine: Oh I almost forgot you crystal scum were here.
Pearl: Hey!
High minister aquamarine: Rose quartz once had an astonishing number of followers, enough to even shatter pink diamond herself, now look at you.
