This was so much fun but so freaking hard to write. I suck at action... so, be honest and tell me how I did... I played it smart not explosive...
Love, you all...
Mika!
Mei: So how's training with the bunny lady?
Izzy: Good, she's tough. She made me and Bakugo spar at full force until we couldn't any more.
Mei: Who won?
Izzy: I did... four out of six times. Bakugo learns insanely fast, he got better and better with each spar. Eventually the matches were more or less even. He is powerful, smart and can adapt like no one's business. I won mostly because he is still under estimating me, still holding back a little and I have more combat experience.
Mei: That's good that you can realize that... but how does that make you feel?
Izzy: A little sour, I am trying to be his friend now but our past didn't just evaporate, you know? I want to beat him at everything, show that hardwork can overpower those blessed by genetics.
Mei: I think your doing just fine, especially with your babies at your disposal. Those shocky babies are so much fun to watch you use on unsuspecting !
Izzy: This is me rolling my eyes at you... goodnight Mei, ttyl my friend.
Mei: Ttyl, my fne furry friend.

While Izuku babbled away, texting on his phone, Bakugo lay on his cot, smiling. 'I did it... I showed my strength without going overboard... it wasn't easy, but I did it. I'll tell Hound Dog Sensei when I get back. I think he'll be happy for me.' Almost giddy, Bakugo turned away from Izuku and focused on his pride. He couldn't remember,... ever being this happy. Before he wasn't ever really happy, too anxious and worried about not being perfect, the best... too worried about what other people thought. He hadn't realized how debilitating it was until he started to free himself from it. 'Now if I could only get my parents to talk to me.'
It had been weeks since he had any meaningful conversations with his parents, neither of which really even looked at him much anymore. Their shame of him to great to get over... and that hurt. Still, he would work on it and regain their trust, theri faith and if he had too... their love. He missed it, more then he cared to admit. Not having it was like a gaping wound, like being a battery that wouldn't charge. It left him tired and almost itchy for relief.
It was all a work in progress, his entire life really... he just hoped he would still be up for the challenge.

"Alright boy's you've impressed me enough that I think we can go out patrolling. Who knows, maybe we'll run into the Hero Killer. I so hope so." Mirko's sadistic grin left both boy's shuddering. They had gotten to know her enough to know that that look was not going to be pleasant for either of them. "Get into your hero costumes and let's book it." Both boys shared a look before hurrying off to get dressed, doing as the crazy lady said to. Within minutes they were outside in Hosu proper, walking down at a fast pace while the crazy lady's ears twitched in every direction. "My quirk allows me many benifits, the most potent is the advances to my hearing. I can hear damn near anything in any direction, which is why-"
BOOOM!
A force ricocheted threw the air, almost knocking them all over, they turned and saw with horror that the Bullet train passing by had something ripping through it, a yellow blur pushing it away, but as it passed by Izuku recognized the beast. 'No skull and a massive body... it can't be...' He gasped. " That's a Nomu! One of them attacked the USJ, All Might barely beat it!"
Whipping around, Mirko gave him a fierce grin. "All Might barely defeated it huh... guess the rumors are true and he is slowing down... sounds like a great challenge for me and... is that fire?" They all turned back to where the Nomu had been blasted, and saw a great confligration burning in the distance. "Damn, rescues come first. Kids, come on. It's time to prove your worth. Your mission? Collect and give aid to any civilians caught in the fire!"
They sprinted towards the fire at blinding speeds, the boys barely keeping pace with the powerful rabbit.
Running through the streets of Hosu, the force of citizens running away in terror was like a literal stream, all consuming and violent and without natural course. They smashed into everything, a varitable stampede of panic. Izuku never realized that fear had a smell, but you could smell it oozing from the people.
"Tenya! Where are you, Tenya?" Izuku almost fell at the name, knowing that Iida had taken his internship here but he had been so busy worrying about Shoto's issues and working with Bakugo he hadn't given it any thought.
"There are more then one Nomu?" He saw two heros fighting the Nomus, but without much success, a distressing sight. "What the hell, how could there be anything that gross or powerful in mass?" Izuku cried out, only fro Bakugo to suddenly pull him back, just as a bus was thrown into his and Mirko's path, exploding with enormous force.
One of the heroes broke a fire hydrant and yelled, "Manual! Stop the fire!"
"Yeah. Got it!" Manual replied, running over to the stream of water coming from the broken hydrant.
'That's Manual. The normal hero! Iida's at his agency!' Izuku thought.
"Why'd you run off by yourself?! Where the hell are you, Tenya? Dammit," Manual declared, as he used his quirk to spread the water around the area, his actions wise.
'Wait, he went off alone? Despite what's happening? That doesn't sound like something he'd do,' Izuku thought thought.
"We can hold these things back on our own. Evacuate with everyone else," A hero said, looking at him and Bakugo, who was oddly silent.
Mirko stepped forward. "Are you blind, their my interns and they have orders to help with evacuations. I will take the beast... alongside Endeveaor, great." She muttered that last part, drawing Izuku to the sight of the cruel number two hero blasting fire at a nomu with a smirk on his handsome face.
"I could used the extra hands!" Manual said. "Can one of them go about knocking over the fire hydrants, give me more water to work with?"
Mirko turned. "Of course, Bakugo your better at violence, do as he said then start with evacuations."
Bakugo nodded. " Yes, Ma'am." And then he scurried of, to do as he said.
Izuku went to move, to start evacuations, when his mind went at full speeds 'I can't believe Iida would run off with such a huge disaster in front of him. Hosu City... Guys who look like Nomu... Iida... Hosu... Where the Hero Killer attacked... Don't tell me. " He gasped. " Mirko, my friend is Interning for Manual, who just said he went missing... in Hosu where his brother was attacked by the Hero Killer... He ran off to fight him!"
Immediately she turned to him, her eyes wild but oddly filled with compassion. "There are a lot of heroes... heroes in training here... if one was to go save him, while I went to fight the Nomu, that would be pretty helpful then wouldn't it?" With that she blasted away, slamming into a Nomu with her feet, kncking it back and into a building.
Izuku turned on heel and sprinted away, going down from alley to alley...
Until finally he saw his prize. Iida, Native limp and damaged in their hero costumes... and who he presumed to be Stain, a long blade aimed to strike. The man looked horrible, no nose and a face covered in scars. He radiated insanity like All Might radiated charisma... it was frightening.
Without hesitating, Izuku pulled out one of his gun, loaded with rubber bullets and sedatives and prayed the that first rounds would be a sedative. Letting out three blasts, just to make sure, all three hit home, smashing into the man's wrist, forearm and shoulder. The pain must have been intense, but the monster of a man merely turned and looked at him, his arm moving a few inches away from Iida.
"Who's there? Midoriya? How?" Iida asked, looking up.
"Don't you worry, Iida? I'm gonna save you," Izuku told him as he sprinted in, replacing his gun with his Escrima sticks, turned on full blast. "But after that, your ass is mine for thinking you could go up against the Hero killer alone, you utter moron!"
"You found him, too? But how?" Iida asked, his voice oddly timid.
"I saw it on TV. They had some stats about the Hero Killer. Most of his victims were found where there weren't near many people. So, in order to find you, I needed to search far away from the panic, in the back alleys of Hosu City. Let's go, back towards the street. We have to get help from the pros," Midoriya replied. "Maybe Mirko, she's here as is Endeavor."
"Ugh. I can't move my body," Iida told him.
"Huh?"
"It must be his quirk. Since he cut me, I've been paralyzed," Iida explained.
"That's the kind of quirk the people on TV said the Hero Killer might have. So cutting somehow activated his power, huh?"
"Midoriya, please! Don't get involved. This doesn't have anything to do with you!" Iida begged.
"Are you dumb? Your my friend and this maniac has been destroying great people for whatever his petty goals are about... this is everyone's business."
"You showed up to save your friend's life. You even made a big entrance. But I have a duty to kill him and this so-called pro. When your friend chose to fight me, it guaranteed that the weaker of us would be culled. So what will you do?" Stain asked, his voice dripping with charisma and insanity.
"Listen to me! Stand down. Run away. I told you this has nothing to do with you," Iida said.
"How about you shut the fuck up and let me help you, I'd rather not bury you!" Twirling his Escrima sticks, he fell into a low stance.
"Heh," Stain said, smiling. Izuku ran at him. "Good," Stain said, as he swung his sword at Midoriya.
'Get in close, he has the longer weapon and yours are charged with electricity. I don't have to win the fight, just delay him. One of the bullets were a sedative, I can see the capsul on the ground. He doesn't have long... make his blood bump!' He almost reached the Hero Killer as he pulled out a knife, twirling to slam his sticks home.
"No! if you get cut!" Iida yelled.
Stain swung his sword, forcing Izuku to block with a stick, the force almost knocked him for but a surge of electricty streamed through the sword forcing Stain to recoil and literally slam his own body into the wall of the closest building. Without waiting, Izuku surged forward, slamming his sticks home into the man's wrist, knocking aside his sword, which he then kicked away like trash. Jabbing Stain in the chest, one, twice, six times! Each one sending two hundred thousand volts through the man's body, which convulsed horribly as tiny shrieks left Stain's throat.
Izuku didn't care, he had to protect his friend and Native and stop this monster... by any means.
He would let his friend perish here... he would not let anyone else die...
Except maybe Stain...
""""
Stain's everything hurt as the boy slammed his Escrima sticks into him, surges of agonizing electricty ripping through his body with each strike. Something was wrong, there was no way the boy could be this good, this strong, he had seen him during the Sports Festival. The kid had talent for sure, but this much? No... not a chance... something was off, Stain's reaction time was far too slow...
''The bullets!' He realized, remembering the bullets peppering him earlier. He hadn't'paid them too much attention. 'One must have been a sedative or something, it isn'tm knocking me out yet, but it is enough to slow me down so far. That, mixed with the electricity forcing my heartbeat to go into overdrive and I might actually pass out soon. Smart kid, but not enough.'
Working through his agony, Stain lashed out with a harsh kick that sent the boy flying back into the wall next to the wannbe heros. The kid collasped, coughing horribly and spitting up a little blood but still managing to stand.
"Nice, your strong for your age... not many could have managed to keep up with me, even for a few moments." Stain smirked, oozing excitement. He stepped forward, doing his best to shrug off the effects of the sedative. 'I just have to kill the wannabe heroes, then I can leave...' His drive, his hate, his rage fueling him enough that he could pulled two swords and ready himself to fulfill his mission.
He barely got the chance to move an inch before an explosion sent him flying into the wall once more. He groaned, hating that there was more interference. Looking up from his position, he saw a very angry looking blond.
"Touch them again and you die, Hero Killer."
'How much more interference will there be?'
