Heeeyyyyy guys.

So... I have been super busy with work and I've recently had a death in the family so I've been dealing with that and I am going back home to London for a week so this chapter will be the only one I'm posting for two weeks.

Yesss I know I said I'll post weekly, but bare with me please.

ANYWAY ENJOY!

I sat on my bed the next morning flicking through netflix The girls have been messaging me asking why I left the dance last night, but I haven't replied. I've just sat in my room flicking through netflix. I didn't know what I wanted to watch. Last night played over in my head constantly since I got home.

I wasn't mad at Lucas for cheating on Nicki when I know he isn't that same person I know he has come so far from that person. I'm disappointed that he didn't tell me. I'm disappointed that Nicki's comment told me

My phone then buzzed. A text from Lucas came through.

I miss you . L xxx

I laid awake most of the night staring up at the ceiling thinking. I couldn't let Nicki and Julian get what they want. This is what they both want. Me go against Lucas and I wasn't going to let that happen. I look down at his text message again and I press reply.

I miss you too. Wanna come over? B xxx

On my way. L xxx

I smiled at that putting my phone on the dresser.

It wasn't long until I heard my front door open and shut signalling Lucas had arrived.

A small knock came on my bedroom door and then it slowly opened "hi pretty girl"

I look up and give him a smile "Hi Luke" I waved him over. He laid down beside me "about last night, I'm sorry I ran out on you like that. My head got the better of me. I shouldn't have acted like that"

"It's okay" He says kissing my cheek "I get why you were mad and I'm sorry I didn't tell you that part, but I promise there isn't anymore to the story at all"

I nod believing him "I love you" I say turning to face him.

A smile formed on his as he looked at me showing a cheesy grin that melted my heart every time "I love you too pretty girl"

In that moment I knew we were in it for the long time.

We went to the store real quick to grab goodie supplies and ordered Chinese before we spent the whole day locked in my house watching movies all day. We made a cushion fort in the living room area on the floor and made ourselves comfortable.

"So what do you want to watch now?" I ask as the conjuring film finished.

"How about the Quiet place. I've heard it's meant to be really good and the next one is out this year I think" I nod finding the movie "I think we've needed this" Lucas says randomly "us spending time alone. The past week we've been around people. I mean I love our friends, but I love spending time with just us more"

I nod agreeing with him "me too"

I woke up to the room still being dark. The curtains were closed and Lucas was fast asleep on the fort we made. I slowly got out of his embrace and stood to my feet. I found my phone seeing so many messages from the girls.

Are you okay?

Brooke can you please answer at least one of us so we know your fine.

Brooke Penelope Davis if you do not answer us we are not your friend anymore.

BROOOKKEEE!

Those were the messages I was getting. I laughed at them and texted the group chat back.

I'm fine. I spent the day with Lucas. I'll update you soon. Sorry for the late reply. Love you girls. B xxx

I then looked at the clock to see it was 8 the next morning. We were up pretty late last night. I glanced over at Lucas again to see he was still fast asleep. I grabbed my car keys and headed out to the store for breakfast.

When I got to the store my phone beeped signalling three messages coming through from the girls.

Okay well at least we know you're okay (; Love you too. R xxx

I smile at all their replies and go into the store. I found everything I needed and placed it all in my cart. Walking through the sweet isle I pick out strawberry laces for me and jelly babies for Lucas. I was hoping we would spend another day together. I then turn the corner and bump into someone "oh I'm sorry I didn't..." I stopped when I saw it was Nicki. I rolled my eyes and went to walk pass her, but of course she couldn't just carry on... oh no she had to speak to me.

"If it isn't Brooke once again in my presence"

"I'm not doing this Nicki. Next time just walk pass me yeah" I say going to walk away when she stopped me again.

"I hate how smug you always seem to be around me Brooke. I keep trying to get to you and you just seem to always bounce back and I'm really starting to get pissed off with it"

"I don't really care if your pissed off or not Nicki" I make clear "you should really stop this nonsense and just realise that Lucas is never going to want you after everything anyways so you are wasting your time even if he and I weren't together" and then I glance down at her basket hanging off her arm and notice 2 pregnancy tests. I look back at her "and anyway judging by those 2 pregnancy test you are going to have enough on your plate to worry about"

"That is none of your business" she snaps "you and Lucas aren't meant to be and the sooner you see it the better it is Brooke"

"I've heard that off of you and Julian and I couldn't care less of it coming from the two people I don't like" I give a laugh "it looks like you and Julian trying to make Luke and I jealous just got a whole lot deeper aye" she just stared back at me "now if you will actually excuse me I have to get back to my boyfriend and make us breakfast. Bye Nicki"

Having that final say made me smile super. I felt so much better and I knew nothing either she or Julian could say would hey between me and Lucas anymore. I wasn't going to let either of them ruin what Lucas and I have and could possibly build in the future.

I get back to my house to see the fort was still on the floor in the living area, bit Lucas was not. I hang my bag and jacket up and put my keys in the bowl on the table. I walk to the kitchen and put the bags on the counter top.

"You went to the store?" I look up and see Lucas leaning against the kitchen door "whatcha get?"

"Breakfast" I unload the bags "and treats" a smile creeper onto his lips.

"French toast?" he questions. I nod taking out the eggs and bread "I love how you know me better than most"

"Me too" I reply as I start to make breakfast

"So I was hoping we could spend today together too. More films?" I loved that idea. Spending so much time with him is what I really liked.

"You read my mind" he snakes his arms around my waist from behind kissing my cheek.
