Hey babes! Back again with a new chapter for ya! This was a pretty fun one to write.

Enjoy!

"I am so excited for this panel," Skye says to her boyfriend with an excited grin as they get ready for the day ahead of them at Comic-Con. They've just barely started filming the new season of their show—they're about a week or so in—and now they get to talk about it with the fans. It's her favorite part.

"Same," comes Grant's reply from inside the bathroom. "I can't wait to hear what questions the fans are gonna have for us this year."

"Me too," Skye responds as she quickly pulls her hair into a messy side braid. "Some of the questions last year were really good."

"There are always really good ones."

"And then there are the ridiculous ones."

"Yes," he agrees. "The ridiculous ones can be fun too, though."

Skye turns around to look at him as he steps out of the bathroom and smiles. "You know, I really, really love it when you wear these kinds of shirts." She steps toward him and grabs the hem of his Henley, tugging on it to get him closer to her.

"I know." He smiles cheekily as he leans down to capture her lips in his. "And I love it when you wear your hair like this," he tells her, reaching up to mess with her braid.

She smiles back just as cheekily. "I know."

He chuckles. "Alright. Well, we should probably get going to meet up with the others. We're already running a little behind."

Skye pauses, the tiniest of pouts coming to her lips. "But my coffee."

"You know there's going to be coffee at the convention center, so if you can hang on for a little bit longer then we can get coffee when we get there."

She sighs. "Fine. Are you ready, then?"

"Yeah. You?"

"Mm-hmm."

He smiles at her. "Okay then, let's go." He grabs her hand in his and the two of them make their way to meet up with the others to catch their bus to the convention center.

Not sure how Sammy feels about the bus ride, but I know she's excited to be at Comic-Con with her favorite auntie. Are you ready for us, San Diego? #mysammy #comiccon

CallMeBobbi This is definitely one of my new favorite photos of you two.

"Coffee!" Skye says excitedly when she sees the coffee set up in the green room as soon as they all step inside. She passes Sammy back over to Bobbi and makes a beeline for the machine. "Oh, thank goodness. If I'm gonna survive this panel, and the rest of the day then I desperately need my coffee fix. Grant wouldn't let me get any this morning because apparently, we were running late." She eagerly reaches for one of the empty cups and starts making herself a drink.

"Save some for the rest of us," Trip speaks up with a small laugh as he falls down into one of the chairs at one of the many tables in the room.

"Oh, this is so good," Skye says after taking a long sip of the warm drink once it's poured. "This is exactly what I needed to survive."

"You're always so dramatic," Grant says with an amused smile as he moves to stand next to her, one arm wrapping loosely around her waist to hold her close.

"But you love me anyway," she says to him with a smile.

He smiles back, leaning down to press his lips against hers. "That I do."

"Can you two stop being so nauseatingly sweet for five minutes?" Kara speaks up, a small smile on her face despite her complaint.

"I don't know, Kara," Grant replies. "I happen to like how sweet Skye and I are with each other. In fact, I think I'm gonna push those levels right now."

Skye quirks a brow at her boyfriend. "And how exactly are you going to do that?"

"Probably like this."

Skye watches as he reaches into his pocket, pulling out a small black box that looks suspiciously like a ring box. She gasps quietly. "Grant…"

He turns so he's standing directly in front of her, looking right into her eyes. He grabs one of her hands in his, taking her coffee and setting it off to the side.

"I love you, Skye," he starts, "more than I've ever loved anyone before. I know this isn't the most romantic setting in the world, but when two people love each other, they can manage to make just about anything special." He holds up the box he took from his pocket. "I've been carrying this ring around for a little while now, praying that you wouldn't find it, hoping to find the perfect moment to ask you one very important question. And in front of some of our closest friends, I think this moment is pretty perfect." He takes a deep breath as he lowers himself onto one knee, opening the lid of the box to show her the elegant ring sitting inside. "Will you marry me?"

"Yes," Skye says without an ounce of hesitation, tears of happiness rolling down her cheeks as she beams at him. "Yes, absolutely."

Grant grins as he gently slides the ring onto Skye's finger before standing up and pulling her into a searing kiss.

"I love you too," Skye whispers against his lips. "I love you so much."

"Congratulations to the happy couple!" someone shouts, causing them to break apart and look to see all of their friends grinning and clapping.

"We're getting married!" Skye exclaims, holding up her left hand to show off her new engagement ring. She smiles when Bobbi steps closer to admire the ring and then pulls her into a hug.

"I am so happy for you," Bobbi says, rocking them from side to side.

"Thanks." Skye pulls out of the hug and places both hands on her best friend's shoulders to look directly into her eyes. "But I have a very important question for you."

"What is it?"

"Will you be my Maid of Honor?"

Bobbi grins. "Of course."

Everyone standing backstage smiles widely as they listen to the excited cheering coming from the audience that's gathered for their panel in Hall H. Of course, Grant and Skye are smiling mainly because of their new engagement, but also because of the fans waiting for their panel.

"Now, I don't know about all of you, but I'm very excited to see all of these people out here to talk about the show that we all know and love," the panel moderator's voice rings through the microphone, and everyone moves into the correct order by the stairs, waiting to go up. "So let's get this panel started. First up, please welcome to the floor, Executive Producer, Phil Coulson." The crowd cheers as he walks out on stage.

"Next up, Executive Producer, Melinda May." Everyone cheers again.

"Next, we have the official police liaison to our heroes, Michael Anderson, it's Antoine Triplett." The entire room cheers as Trip walks out onto the stage, a wide smile on his face.

"She's the fun-loving reporter who knows everything about our heroes escapades, except for their secret identities; it's Sandra Call, Kara Lynn Palamas." Everyone cheers for the woman as she walks out onto the stage, smiling and waving at them. She sits down in her seat next to Trip, allowing him to pull her into a quick side hug.

"Our next guest, he's the man every woman wants to have for themselves. He's the witty, fun-loving tech expert, Felix Daniels, it's Leo Fitz."

The room cheers once again, the women screaming just a bit louder, as Fitz makes his way onto the stage. He takes up his seat next to Kara, smiling out at the crowd and giving them a small wave.

"Next up, he is the newest addition to the cast, a face you haven't yet met on the screen. He's playing a mysterious new figure named Jack Berns, please welcome to the stage, our new series regular, Lance Hunter."

The crowd cheers moderately loud for Lance as he walks out onto the stage and sits next to Fitz, smiling and waving.

"Finally, he's one of the stars of our show and half of everyone's favorite crime-fighting duo. Give it up for JT James, aka Grant Ward." The crowd cheers its loudest as Grant walks out onto the stage, grinning and waving to the fans and then taking his seat.

"And last, but certainly not least, she's the other star of the show and the other half of everyone's favorite crime-fighting duo. Put your hands together for Daisy Johnson, aka Skye." The crowd cheers extremely loud again as Skye walks out onto the stage, beaming as she waves to the fans, grateful that she remembered to take her engagement ring off before the panel started. They both want to keep it on the down-low for just a little while longer.

She takes her seat at the end of the table and then leans in closer to Grant to take a picture on his phone, knowing that they are probably going to be photos and videos of this moment online as soon as the fans are able to get it posted.

"Okay," the moderator says. "First of all, before we get to the fan questions, I have a couple of questions for you guys. My first question is to Kara. Your character has come so close so many times to figuring out the identity of our heroes. She even gave them their crime-fighting monikers very early on in their careers. Do you think she's ever going to figure it out?"

Kara leans toward her microphone. "You know, I like to think that by this point in the game, she's slowly starting to piece things together. I mean, she is a top-notch reporter after all; she's the best at what she does. But I think that when she does eventually figure it out, she's going to keep it to herself for a little while, you know, plausible deniability and all of that." She sits back in her seat, a pleased smile on her face.

"Anything to add, producers?" the moderator turns toward Phil and Melinda.

Phil leans forward. "All we can say is that she will at some point figure it out." The crowd cheers. "When that will happen is still up in the air, though it's sure to be exciting."

.

.

.

"Alright, so, unfortunately, we only have time for two more questions today." The crowd groans Abe the moderator chuckles. "I know, I wish we could be here all day. Our first question, please." He gestures to the microphone down in the audience.

A young woman steps up to the mic. "Hi. Um, my question is for Lance. What was it like when it was announced that you got a role in this show? And what's been your favorite part about filming so far?"

Lance smiles and leans forward. "It was an amazing feeling when I got cast. Not nearly as great of a feeling as when my daughter was born, but it's still up there. And I've been friends with Skye for a while now, so it was fun knowing I'd get to come here and mess with her while filming."

"Moving on," the moderator speaks up with a chuckle. "If we could have our final question now, please."

A man steps up to the mic and clears his throat. "I'm just wondering what has been your favorite scene so far to film for the show?"

"That's a really great question," the moderator says. "I think we'll go down the line, starting over here with Trip."

Trip leans forward. "Alright, well, I think one of my favorite scenes was, I think it was in the second season when Michael actually goes out into the field for the first time with Quake and Hellfire because they need his help. I mean, even though he's a cop, the guy has absolutely no idea what to do when he's out fighting alongside these heroes but he really tries his best. So that was a lot of fun to do."

Kara leans forward. "I think for me, it was when there was that big rally of people who are against Quake and Hellfire despite not really knowing much about them, and Sandra is up on the stage defending these heroes she's been writing about but has never actually seen for more than a few seconds at a time. That was a huge speech that I had to memorize and it took a while to do it, but when that whole montage was put together with shots of Quake and Hellfire fighting and then recovering from fighting, it looked absolutely incredible. Such a powerful scene, I loved doing that."

"I don't know if I actually have a favorite," Fitz says with a smile. "There have been a lot of great things I've had the opportunity to film; I don't think I can pick a favorite. But if I absolutely had to pick one, it'd probably be something where I'm down in the lair on the computers. Because I get to sit down for many hours." The crowd laughs.

Lance smiles as he leans forward. "I've only shot a bit of the show so far, and none of it has aired yet, so I can't really say much. Except that I'm really excited for you lot to meet Jack. He's a riot."

Skye leans forward next. "For me, I think it has to be in the back half of season two when Daisy has her meltdown in the middle of the lair and JT comes over to comfort her even though he had no idea what was happening. That was a really great scene to film with Grant, we both tapped into a lot of emotions for that scene and it turned out better than either of us hoped it would. And I think that's really when JT and Daisy started to show each other that they cared about one another, despite having already worked together for a while. Plus, the reception on that scene was amazing from all of you." The crowd cheers and Skye smiles.

"And my favorite scene to film," Grant starts, "was probably one of the first fight scenes that I got to do for the show, which was in the pilot episode. Besides it being the shot that opened the show, it was a lot of fun to shoot that and once it was all put together with the special effects it looked incredible."

The moderator smiles. "Alright, I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out today, but unfortunately we have to say goodbye to our wonderful panelists. Thank you all for coming out today. And don't forget to catch Secret Warriors airing this fall on ABC at 9 pm.

I don't know about you guys, but Grant and Skye seemed extra affectionate at the Secret Warriors panel today. I mean, they're always all over each other considering they're dating, but today was nuts.
See the above photos and gifs as evidence.

So? What did you think? Let me know in a review down below. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Also. Not sure if anyone who's reading this has heard, but a bunch of us online are trying to save the show 'MacGyver', to bring it back from an unexpected cancellation. So if you have the time, and are willing, if you could go to the 'savemacgyver' website and sign the petition to help get the show brought back. That'd be fantastic and I'd really appreciate it. :)

Until next time,
