I walked briskly into the wand chamber. We, as a team, had discussed what to do with the wand situation. We had come to the conclusion, that we would just get a second wand, that wouldn't be as great a fit as the first. I used my magic to scan the room, and found the wand that would compliment my magic best.
The card next to it said, 'Wood: Walnut, Cherry, and Apple. Core: Kelpie hair. Length: 16 3/4 inches.' I picked it up, and went to the lady registering wands. I filled my permit out, and went to actually look at the wand.
It was a golden color, with beautiful swirls going down it's frame. It had a small flower, with a dazzling ruby on it, which I thought was fitting to honor my mother.
I turned on my Fae sight, which could see and manipulate things around me. I saw many a student grabbing a wand, whose magical energy, for some, was bonding completely. My friends and myself, were already bonded to wands, so this second wand was connecting, but not as well as the first.
Everyone got a wand, and I saw that Luna and Rolf's wands, while their first, was not bonding well. After a short discussion, we decided to get them illegal wands. We left the wand station, and went to the hall, where we sat at the first year table. We ate our fill, and were talking when a huge bang happened.
We all turned to the source, and found an old woman with her wand out. "I am your Headmistress," she said, "Greetings. First years are to follow their heads of house to the dormitories. Ms. Black-Wayne, please come to my office after you go to the dormitories."
My friends and I split, and Luna came with me to the rooms. The lobby looked like a blue library, and my room had a built in library similar.
I headed to the Headmistress.
