So…I've been following this YouTube Channel called Rinse Repeat that since the beginning of this year has been posting compilations of cartoons from the 1990s/Early 2000s complete with commercials of the time and network bumpers so you really feel like you're watching TV in the 90s this week was Fox's 2004 programming with an episode of the 2003 TMNT (Certain shows can't be included for copyright reasons like Batman the Animated Series, Tiny Toons, Garfield and Friends I'm OK with that because it gives the B-List Shows a chance to shine he does get a few of the more popular shows Sonic SatAM, Muppet Babies,) He couldn't show the original 80s cartoon but for some reason he was able to show the 2003 show minus the theme song, kind of shows how the 03 TMNT really is the overlooked middle child of the franchise but that's OK because the fans often benefit from that. Anyway this was cause for celebration! Since the episode of that compilation was Return to the Underground a great episode for Donny that didn't torture him like SAINW, what better way to celebrate then for my Mutant Created for an RPG Glacier having a heart-to-heart conversation with my favorite Turtle?

Realizing what was happening, Chanchalla said "I can tell you some things but there are some things I do not know for I did not choose to come to this world…I'm still not sure how I got here."

"You mean to say you came to Earth by accident?" Jake said

"Please Sir." Chanchalla said "It is very hard to think in these binds…"

"If I release you…" Jake said "…Do I have your assurance you won't try to escape?"

"I don't even know where I am." Chanchalla said "I know such an attempt would be suicide since creatures like me aren't welcome in this world."

Jake grumbled the Turtles probably had her well-informed about the dangers of this world.

He removed the handcuffs and then unbound her feet, for a moment marveling at how uncanny it was for an ungulate to have soft fleshy feet instead of hooves.

As Chanchalla rubbed her wrists as Jake put away the handcuffs, for a moment a distant memory from her school days at the Academy of Hanalu returned to her.

"I have seen metal before!" She exclaimed

"What?" Jake was caught off guard by this sudden outburst

"I'm sorry!" Challa said quickly "But the feeling of those metal binds on my wrists, I remembered something from my school days at the Academy of my home city of Hanalu, there was a showcasing of many rare crystals one was rarest of all, but I've come to learn on this world that that was no crystal it is instead a difference substance called metal!"

"No metal on your planet?" Jake raised an eyebrow "You think it's a form of crystal?" Jake was beginning to realize this Sheep-Girl would be much stranger than the Tricertons.

Meanwhile Splinter had been trying to get Glacier to talk with honey rather than vinegar, but the Arctic Vixen remained silent determined not to betray her superiors no matter what, Splinter could see she had been trained well, however he could see she still feared the possibility she might die, as she stuck her nose in the air trying to remain stoic, he noticed the periodic lip licking, Splinter knew full well that kind of lip licking is a sign of nervousness in mammals, heck, even humans have been known to lick their lips nervously.

Glacier's stomach grumbled with hunger, Splinter told her he would prepare her some food, and that she was not required to give information in exchange for right to eat.

Glacier remained silent, Splinter went out of his room to prepare some food, he asked Donatello to watch her while he was cooking.

Don got a wooden chair and sat on it backwards, with his legs straddling the seat and his arms resting on the back so he could rest his chin on his forearms, he glared at Glacier with such a burning intensity that the Arctic Fox flinched from such a burning glare.

A few minutes later, Splinter came in with a bowl of chicken broth, "Donatello, I need you to give this to our captive, there is something I must tend to."

"What…" Don began to ask but Splinter quickly said

"Michelangelo has been injured!"

Don knew Leo and Mikey had gone out to try to find any sign of where Challa might have been taken, he simply nodded and took the bowl of broth and let Splinter tend to his brother.

Don didn't say anything as his placed the bowl of broth under Glacier's muzzle.

The Vixen sniffed the soup apprehensively, daring not to take a lick.

Don sighed irritably "We're not going to poison you." He said "We're not monsters."

Glacier grimaced, but hunger consumed her, she knew she would never be able to escape at all on an empty stomach so she began lapping up the broth.

Don was amazed by her appetite, in only a few short moments she had drained the entire bowl!

"Shell!" He exclaimed "You really were hungry!"

Really that broth only mildly satiated Glacier's hunger as a Mutant Fox she had a very fast metabolism.

Don simply placed the bowl on the table and returned to his position on the chair.

However having her hunger even slightly appeased seemed to have eased Glacier's mind as she felt the ability to say, "You, hate me, you really hate me…Even more so than your gruff brother with the red mask."

Don grimaced than he said "Well yeah…" He said "…Since you're of the Army you must know military history, does the word 'Quisling' mean anything to you?"

That caused Glacier to be taken aback "You don't really mean I'm a traitor to you?!" She said "I mean yes we're both Anthropomorphic Animals, but we're not the same…Thing!"

"Explain how." Don said

"You're wild mutants and I was created with much more deliberation and care." Glacier said "I am a Chimera, meaning I am a fusion of human and animal genes…"

Don had to admit to himself there really was no reason for this Mutant raised by Humans to see any kinship between herself and his family, Don realized what Challa had said to them only a few minutes before her capture had really struck him, despite all the reasons he gave about how raising an army of Mutants wouldn't work, Challa's words stirred in him the idea of Anthro Animals, united against the humans who would do them harm, which is why Glacier's siding with the humans taking Challa had him more incensed than usual…
