Chapter 27: Team Aqua
In the Sootopolis City, which has been flooded with water, one of the houses lives a family of four, which are Reisa, Reshow, Wallace, and Nessa. Reisa says, "It sure is a good thing that the captain of the Water Type leaders is actually in our family."
"Yeah, it is a good thing that we don't need to do any introductions to the others as we are a family." Reshow adds. "You know, maybe we should go visit Ash and the others as we may be the fastest group that finishes this kind of stuff."
"I agree." Reisa says as they head downstairs from their house. Wallace notices them and he asks, "Leaving so soon?"
"Yeah, at this time, the other team leaders are just telling their captains about what they are going to do, but we don't need to do that since we are a family." Reisa says.
"Indeed. It is really convenient." Nessa says. "Setting up Stands for Pokemon Contests and Ocean Stuff is interesting, and not to mention that we are going to be judges for the Contests as well."
"Yeah." Reisa says, "Now we really should go."
After bidding farewell to Wallace and Nessa, the two siblings are now heading to Kanto as they are going to find Ash and the others.
Once they arrive at the Ketchum's residence, Delia opens the door and greets them. "Reisa, Reshow, it is so great to see you."
"Same here, is Ash still at home?" Reisa asks, "We are here to visit him."
"I am sorry, he has left for Kalos along with Lilie and Alice." Delia says, "They are going to find Diantha and tells her about the plan of the 25th-anniversary party. Speaking of which, you are leaders of the Team Aqua, shouldn't you do the same thing as well?"
Reisa shrugs and says, "Well, the captain for Water Users is my Dad, so he already knows what to do."
At the same time, the traitors finally come to Pallet Town with disguises, and then they spot Delia talking to two people wearing outfits that resemble Team Aqua. Brock says, "That's Team Aqua, right? The group who tries to expand the ocean..."
"What are they doing here? Don't tell me that they are also here to find that weakling." Iris mutters.
"Team Aqua means that they are Water Type users right?" Misty says, "I'll show them that I am the best Water user compared to them."
"And how are you going to do that since we are being wanted for your stupid actions?" Max mutters, and Misty yells, "What is that?"
But Delia and the others don't pay in mind them as they enter the house. There, Serena and Dawn are sitting on the sofa chatting until they notice them. Dawn says, "No way...are you perhaps Reisa? The Top Coordinator who won a lot of Grand Festivals? I am your biggest fan."
Reisa smiles and says, "It is nice to see you as well, Dawn. We didn't get to meet each other and talk back when you first come here."
"Wait, you mean you were here this whole time?" Serena asks, and Reshow says, "We are the leaders of Team Aqua, so it is obvious that we were here then."
"Oh, but why are you joining in the former evil team who terrorizes Hoenn?" Serena asks, "I mean, even your father Wallace help you with it, right?"
"Serena wasn't here when Ash told us about you." Dawn sighs, "But it will be better if we learn more details."
Reisa says, "As you can see, there are some disadvantages for Water Type Pokemon, and that is some of them can't leave the water for too long, or else they will dry out and even dead. We have a lot of Water Pokemon, and some of them require clean water to make them alive and active. We lived in Sootopolis City and Hulbury, both cities are full of Water, both of our parents specialize in Water Type Pokemon, and that influences us to use Water Type Pokemon as well."
"But there are evil people who are out of sight, out of mind, if they have a lot of trash, they will just throw them into the ocean to pollute them, a lot of people are doing the same thing, and eventually the water is so polluted that it is undrinkable and unlivable for a lot of Water Type Pokemon. I still remember some of our Water Pokemon need clean water, but there are none of them because of the pollution, and our Pokemon are dead because of drought."
"That sounds cruel..." Serena says, "Have you ever thought of calling the police?"
Reisa says, "We did, but that doesn't stop the whole thing, as more and more people don't care as they just want to get rid of the trash in their houses. We may be able to stop the main culprit, but there are still more people to do it and not even a Champion like Dad could do it."
Reisho says, "That's why we meet Ash and his family, they offer us to reform this Team Aqua. At first, Dad is not going to agree as it is the same name of the evil team, but with expanding the ocean as well as letting us having machines to clean the dirty water, he finally agrees and lets sister Reisa and me be the leaders of the Team Aqua."
"That sure is an interesting story." Dawn says, "So you guys will also clean up dirty water as your jobs?"
"Of course." Reshow says, "We really don't like the water being polluted. Water is a source that a lot of people need, with Team Jet helping with the rains, we will help clean up the dirty water with the filter machines that we have on us."
"So you guys are helping the Water Users with the 25th-anniversary festival, does that mean you know who they are?"
"Besides my father, the Hoenn Champion and a famous Top Coordinator who has his own Contest, and our mother, who is the Galar Gym Leader and a famous model. The other four are Crasher Wake, the Sinnoh Gym Leader who helps the Pastoria City clear up the Fog, and Marlon, a really carefree fisherman. Seibold, a great chef who is also the Elite 4 in Kalos, and finally Lana, the Trial Captain who is also your friend, right?"
"Yeah." Serena says. "Since you are here, how about you show us some of your contest moves? It will be amazing to see them in person."
"Of course, and I will like to see the Kalos Queen in action as well, seeing how you are performing on televisions really amazes me." Reisa says.
Dawn turns to Reshow, "If Reisa is a Top Coordinator, what about you? Reshow?"
"I am usually a captain of a ship known as S.S Rainbow, it is a luxurious ship that a lot of people will book for days and even months." Reshow says.
"Wait, you mean, you are a ship captain like Drake or Mr. Brimney in the Hoenn Region?" Serena asks.
"With my dad's relation, they are my teachers and I have been learning how to steer my own ship." Reshow says.
"That's cool." Dawn says. "Now how about we go outside?"
The others nod as they all head there, but just as they head outside, they notice the water in the river and Reisa is furious. "What happened to this river?"
Dawn, Serena, and Reshow also notice the river and Serena says, "Wow...there is so much trash here..."
"But how is it possible? Yesterday the water is clean, and now it is this dirty..." Dawn says.
"Whoever is polluting the river is not going to get away from this." Reisa calls Team Aqua grunts here and they arrive to clean the water, as they follow the river to the upstream, they notice a tent and they hide behind the bushes, they notice that the ones who polluted the water are no other than Misty, Brock, May, Max and Iris.
"They are the ones that polluted the water?" Reshow gasps in surprise, and Dawn says, "So this is where they are hiding..."
"What are we going to do with them?" Serena asks.
"We'll confront them. Not only did that hurt Ash, but they also destroyed the water which is a great resource for the world." Reisa says as they confront the group with Dawn and Serena still staying behind the bush.
"Who do you think you are doing to pollute the water!" The five traitors notice Reisa and Reshow, along with the Team Aqua behind them.
"What we are doing is not your business." Misty says back and Reshow adds, "It is our business if you pollute the water. We Team Aqua doesn't like anyone to pollute the water."
"Should we really care about what you care?" Brock says, and it causes the two to be surprised at the fact that they are not going to realize their mistake. "Who are you anyway?" Iris says with an uninterested tone.
"Hey, I recognize you, you are Reisa, the famous Top Coordinator." May says. "How sad that you are a member of Team Aqua."
"And how sad are you to be a wanted criminal." Reisa says back, "You could have been a great Top Coordinator, but you just have to do some bad stuff."
This causes May to get angry and Misty says, "And you think that your group is good with Water Type Pokemon than me, huh?"
"Just by how we treat the water, it is clear that we are better Water users than you. You are just some mad person who doesn't even care about the Water Type Pokemon."
"HOW DARE YOU..." Misty yells as he tries to take out her mallet, but Reisa says, "If you are a Water Master, you would know that Water Pokemon need clean water to live. But apparently, you don't know that. To me, you don't deserve to be a Water Master!"
"Who cares about clean water when all we need is a strong Water Pokemon?" Misty says, and Reisa says, "You are disgusting. No wonder Ash hates you guys."
"Who cares about that guy anyway?" Max says, and Reshow says, "And we are ashamed that you two are also born from Hoenn as well. But then again, you guys are criminals and why should we care about that as well?"
Reisa takes out her Milotic and a Hydro Pump blasts the Mallet away. "Use Blizzard, freeze them so they won't be able to escape until the police arrive."
This causes them to get surprised as they quickly run away from the raging Pokemon, and Reisa clicks her tongue as she misses the attack on those people. "They got away."
"Indeed. But they aren't going to pollute this river again." Reshow says as he turns to Dawn and Serena, who come back to their hiding spot. "Sorry to let you see that, we are not usually people who get angry easily."
"It's fine, we know that you don't like the water being polluted." Dawn says, "But now that they are gone, does that mean we can see your contest moves?"
"Of course, let's go." Reisa says as she leaves the cleaning work to the others as they show their own performance moves.
Here is a new chapter, and this is the Water Type one as it is different from the others because the captain is the father of both leaders, so they don't need to talk that much. And I decide to make a confrontation with Reisa and Misty because they both specialize in Water Type. I hope you like this chapter and the next one will be Grass Type.
