Chapter 1-23: During Toyotomi's Plan

With brave efforts from Kairi and various othe officers, Lancelot emerged victorious in her struggle against the Yeager and the Zinyak. Having gained the lands of Kai and Shinano, the Coalition Army emerged as one of the most powerful daimyo in the land and proceed to the Odawara Castle. Meanwhile, Nobunaga's retainer, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, defeated his nemesis, Crypto and then overcame the Zinyak's retainer, Urien, as well. Lancelot, the ruler of the Coalition Army, and Nobunaga's successor, Hideyoshi. The fate of the land would be determined by these two powerful warlords. Both men clashed in a struggle for supremacy. As always, Kairi stood in the vanguard of the Coalition Army. Determined to represent the mighty clan, a profound change was begining to take hold within Kairi's heart to Sora...

Lancelot: "Master Hideyoshi has united the land. His forces vastly outnumber our own. The loss of even a single unit could be fatal. We must all survive, and celebrate our victory together!"

Kairi: "If i can just defeat Hideyoshi, the Coalition can claim victory. I should strike alone into the enemy camp and take him down. But no, that will have a negative effect on allied positions. Think! What's the best for the Coalition?"

Travis: (You can do this, Kairi)

Guan Ping: (Do your best, Kairi)

Masanobu: (Can you do it, Kid? Can you change?)

The Coalition Army has begun attacking Toyotomi Army!

Hideyoshi: "Let's get this started, Master Lancelot! Proceed along the estern path and take Obata Castle!"

Kairi: "In order for the Coalition to remain on the best possible path, keeping our allies alive is also important. Good, I have completed my duty."

Gandalf: "Keep the big guy's forces away from here!"

Mitsunari Ishida has opened the Gakuden Southern Garrison South Gate in order to intercept the Coalition Army!

Kairi: "Defeating him will place pressure on Hideyoshi."

Lancelot: "These troop numbers can't hope to take Obata Castle. Just what master Hideyoshi really planning?"

Yoshitsugu: "Unable to fight without relying on Coalition? Gandalf is a coward, not a trace of resemblance to them."

Yoshitsugu Otani has opened the Central Garrison gates!

Defeat the Rifle Captain in the center of the battlefield!

Mitsunari: "I see. You're quite strong."

Mitsunari Ishida is temporarily withdrawing! The Gakuden Southern Garrison North Gate is open!

Soldier: "The enemy are closing in on Gakuden Cstle. I will smash them, fear not!"

Toyotomi Army hass opened the Gakiden Southwestern Garrison North Gate!

Yoshitsugu: "We've lured Gandalf out. Let's fall back, temporarily."

Yoshitsugu Otani is temporarily withdrawing!

Hideyoshi: "In order to support our allies' march on Obata Castle, it would be best to surround Mt. Komaki Castle now."

Toyotomi Army ambush forces have appeared and launched an ambush against Gandalf! Gandalf is in a state of panic! Toyotomi Army, morale increased!

Lancelot: "We face a skileed foe, but we aren't defeated yet. All forces, advance! Join with Master Gandalf!"

Defeat Toyotomi Army's ambush and prevent Gandalf from being defeated!

Masanobu: Your will is my command, my lord!"

Do not allow Lancelot or Gandalf to be defeated!

Soldier: "Now, march!"

The Coalition Army is advancing!

Kairi: "I'll fight too, alongside you all!"

Lancelot: "Yes, well done! Everyone, push up our front lines!"

The Coalition Army is advancing toward the center of the battlefield!

Lancelot: "Master Hideyoshi, you'll have to do better than this to throw us into confusion."

Kairi: "We can't do what's best if we lose our allies. If we can break through that garrison, we might be in time to save them."

Talisman: "Hold on. If I let the enemy through here, all of Mitsunari and Yoshitsugu's hard work will be wasted."

Talisman has appeared! Defeat the Talisman in order to break through the Gakuden Southwestern Garrison! Toyotomi Army, morale decreased!

Hideyoshi: "Ah, Mt. Komaki Castle is only lightly defended. This might be the perfect chance to take it."

The Gakuden Western Garrison South Gate is open! The regiment of Toyotomi Army are advancing toward Mt. Komaki Castle!

Kairi: "Wait, you're the one who fight us, right?"

Talisman: "I told you, to fight me again this time."

Masanobu: "I am Masanobu Honda! If you have the bravery to fight me, step foward!"

Hideyoshi: "Masanobu is something else! We can't fight him! Everyone, just concentrate on Gandalf!"

Successfully defeated Toyotomi Army's ambush!

Hideyoshi: "I'm not finished yet! Deploy all the troops!"

All forces of the Toyotomi Army have begun to counterattack!

Talisman: "Hmm, so you've rushed in here for the sake of your allies? You're reading the entire battlefield well. However, I think you've pushed your luck too far. Your progress stops here."

Talisman has closed the Gakuden Southwestern Garrison North Gate!

The Gakuden Southwestern Garrison South Gate is open! The morale of some enemy forces has decreased! Gandalf is no longer in a state of panic!

Toyotomi Army reinfocements have appeared and advancing toward Gandalf!

Hideyoshi: "That's the end of that plan, then! The Coalition show such solidarity, it's actually quite impressive."

Lancelot: "Well done! Now, attack Gakuden Castle!"

Various gates in the area have opened!

Kairi: "I have become the ultimate warrior. Now, I will strike deep into the enemy castle!"

Defeat Mitsunari Ishida and Yoshitsugu Otani, who are defending Gakuden Castle!

Masanobu: "I can't let the kid take all the glory."

Toyotomi Army, morale decreased!

Kairi: "You aren't satisfied with this, are you?"

Tifa: "Kairi was always a bright, but she's really come on quickly recently!"

Kairi: "I've spent my life following my friend around. Now I will stand out in front and protect them!"

Kairi: "Now only Hideyoshi is left."

Hideyoshi: "I'll be a laughing stock if I run away now! I've got to stand my ground and fight!"

The Coalition Army is fighting against Hideyoshi Toyotomi!

Hideyoshi: "You win for today, I will join you. But i must go to the Kingdom of Corona, to save my friends."

Toyotomi Army has withdrawn to the Kingdom of Corona!

Kairi: "So this is what it means to fight and win alongside everyone."

Masanobu: "You've finally achieved understanding, kid. Your scars from this battle will carry special significance."

Kairi: "There's nothing special about scars. Besided, you've made it out unsatched again, haven't you?"

Gandalf: "Thank you for saving me. Now, i must continue my journey to find another warriors."

The Coalition Army has claimed a victory!

Tifa: "Lady Kairi, you coordinated perfectly with your allies. Everything went magnificently!"

Kairi: "Tifa. Thank you very much."

Lancelot: "You all fought very well. In particular, Kairi, you were excellent."

Kairi: "Thank you. I finally understand, thanks to all of you, exactly what is best for the Coalition. Master Masanobu. Above all, I ask for your forgiveness for my rudeness up until now."
