In space, we turn our attention into the Aether's command center where the Delta Platoon members gathered around.
"you can't get hold of Scarlet or Kaname-san or anyone in the Cruiser?!" said Arad to Nina.
"yes! We've tried contacting them multiple times, but we couldn't reach them!" Nina replied while Mizuki and Beth tried contact line to the Stealth Class Cruiser.
"what's going on?" said Hayate while utterly confused.
"you guys! Over here!" Chuck called out as he with Mirage are by a window that is showing them sight of the Stealth Cruiser ship floating by the Aether Cruiser. "I think we see something going on!"
"what is it?" Arad asked to Mirage who is looking with a pair of binoculars as she sees on the cruiser's command center area, several flashes of light that is forming a code.
"it's Chaos' secret light code." Said Mirage while checking the codes. "Cruiser's systems shut down unknowingly? Trapped inside? Intruder on board?!"
"we got to go get them some help!" said Hayate as everyone nodded before they head to the hangar to get their Siegfried.
Meanwhile on Ken's cruiser. Mikumo stood upon her place within the medical bay as she faces Meltys and her two guards by her side.
"why are you here?" said Mikumo while tightening her hold on her scalpel. "how did you get on board without Scarlet noticing?"
"fufufu, that AI made by Scarlet Retran is nothing but a cheap copy of the original I created, and she destroyed." Said Meltys with a smirk. "it was nothing but child's play to slip under her sensors."
Mikumo gritted her teeth and hardens her gaze at Meltys as she can feel shivers running up her spine from just hearing the woman's voice.
"now then" said Meltys before doing a snap with her fingers as the two armed guards with her took out their rifle and aimed it at Mikumo. "I'll be needing your DNA, Miss Guynemer."
"are you planning to make a clone of another Star Singer?" said Mikumo while hardening her gaze and gave a hostile look at the two armed guards who are coming near her. "you know how dangerous this power I have within me."
"I do know" Meltys replied with a few chuckles. "I also happen to know everything there is on how to control it and how to awaken it."
Mikumo's eyes widen and her lips made a high pitch gasp as Meltys moved her lips to speak out several sentences that the Mysterious Venus dreaded to ever hear again.
"Rudanjal Rom Mayan"
The scalpel that was in Mikumo's hands fell to the floor with a few clangs as the Mysterious Venus gasps while holding her hands to her heart as it is beating fast while the purple glowing marks started glowing upon her skin.
"Rudanjal Rom Mayan" Meltys spoke out again as Mikumo gasps in pain, her eyes quivering and her body shaking while the purple glowing marks started to glow harder. Meltys smirked and chuckled in seeing Mikumo's actions before she turned to look at Ken who is laid on his bed. "ah, right. The clone of Ken."
Meltys got near the sleeping man while her two guards grab hold of Mikumo and restrain her. she looks at Ken and gently trace a finger to his forehead.
"in due time….." Meltys whispered with a sinister smile. "you'll meet the same fate as the man who tried to kill me those many years ago."
"get away from him!" Mikumo shouted as she broke out of the trance before pushed to the floor by the two armed guards. "get away from Ken!"
Meltys looks at Mikumo before back to Ken and then to her while having a chuckling smirk.
"I see the look in your eyes." Said Meltys with an amused voice. "you're in love with him, aren't you? With this clone of the original?"
Mikumo grunted as one of the armed guards takes out a syringe and forcibly takes Mikumo's blood from her right shoulder.
"do you have any idea just how dangerous the real Ken Siriunis was?" Meltys asked Mikumo while going near her. she crouches down and smirks darkly at the Mysterious Venus. "I'll have you know that Ken Siriunis whether a clone or the real one was a dangerous man who could've threatened everyone and everything in this galaxy. And that is the truth."
"y-you're lying…" Mikumo could grunt in response as her blood gets sucked into the syringe before it was pulled out and stored into a small cold canister then into a bag.
"it's not a lie." Said Meltys while chuckling and then taps a finger to the Mysterious Venus' forehead. "in due time, I tell you. In due time, you will know just how dangerous the clone is to you and everyone around you."
"I'm only a danger to you." Said a voice as Meltys' eyes widen before she turns to the bed and sees Ken sitting upon it while aiming his artificial left arm that transformed into a gun form. His artificial right eye glows red while his right-hand takes off the oxygen mask on him "…Meltys"
"you!?" Meltys exclaimed.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Several gunshots rang in the medical bay room before Meltys came running out of it while holding her right arm that is bleeding with two gunshot wounds.
"damnit! I didn't predict how fast his recovery rate is!" Meltys curses as she just runs away.
Ken got off the bed as he grunted in pain before he went to Mikumo who is holding her hand to her let shoulder that has a bleeding cut on it while the two armed guards that had come with Meltys were on the ground dead with bullets in their brains.
"are you okay?" Ken asked Mikumo who nodded before Scarlet's hologram image appeared in the room with the main systems of the medical room activating back online.
"where is she?! That fucking bitch Meltys is on board here!" Scarlet exclaimed angrily as she looks around before to Ken and Mikumo. "where is she!?"
"she just ran to the hangar bay area!" Ken told Scarlet. "get out of here and stop her from getting away!"
"I'm on it!" Scarlet exclaimed as she disappeared in a flash, leaving Ken with Mikumo in the room.
"come on" said Ken as he holds Mikumo and helps her up. "we need to get to the bridge…and contact everyone.
Mikumo merely nodded as the two went out the medical room and heads to the command center. Their way being opened for the ship's door shutters deactivates.
Outside in space, the Delta Platoon's Siegfried flied out of the Aether and went straight for the Stealth Class Cruiser.
"be ready for anything, you guys!" Arad told his team on the comms.
"how can an intruder get on board without Scarlet noticing it?!" Hayate exclaimed. "she's like connected to the entire ship, isn't she!?"
"we just need to figure out the how later, Hayate." Mirage told Hayate. "we have to prioritize saving Captain Siriunis and the others!"
"Major! We got our comms connected back to the cruiser!" Chuck reported to Arad who made a surprised noise. "Scarlet said to be ready for an unknown aircraft coming out? what does that mean?"
Arad was about to ask something when his eyes caught sight of a black Lucifer unit flying from the Stealth Class Cruiser out of nowhere.
"must be that!?" said Hayate in surprise.
"an unknown Lucifer unit!" Mirage added in before she gasps when she sees Ken's Durandal, Messiah, and Excalibur Custom just launching off the cruiser. "the Captain's Units!"
"Chuck! You stay and get us info if everyone's on the cruiser is safe!" Arad told Chuck. "me, Hayate, and Mirage are going after them!"
"Roger!" Hayate and the others responded before the team breaks off into groups.
Within the Stealth Class Cruiser's command center, Freyja is being helped up to an air vent by Makina and Kaname who are pushing her in.
"it's no use! It's too tight and too small!" Freyja exclaimed as she couldn't fit inside the air vent or even go through it.
"even Frefre couldn't fit?" said Makina with a tired sigh.
"Reina, how is it with the restoration of the system?" Kaname asked Reina who is working on bringing back the Cruiser's systems online.
"just a second" said Reina while typing fast on the monitor keyboard before she made a surprised noise when the whole systems turned back on. "alright! Systems are back up!"
The shutters of the room started to lift as everyone can now see the view outside where Chuck's Siegfried appeared.
"everyone! Are you alright!?" Chuck called out from his Siegfried that is looking at everyone in the command center.
"Chuck-san!" Freyja exclaimed before she gasped and pointed outside. "behind you!"
Chuck's Siegfried turns and raises up its shield as it got hit with a few missiles that exploded on him.
"enemy units appearing! There's 10 of them!" Reina exclaimed while checking on the monitors that showed a radar. "all Lucifer Units!"
"why you!" Chuck shouted as he started firing his unit's plasma beam guns and then the missiles at incoming Lucifer units. The yellow Siegfried soon flew away in Fighter mode as it started firing at the fleeing Lucifers.
"Reina! Contact the Aether! We need help!" Kaname told Reina while going to one monitor control and checks the weapon systems. "I'm going to activate the weapon systems onboard!"
"this is Ken's Cruiser, Aether, please respond. Enemy units incoming, I repeat!" said Reina on the communication line.
Freyja and Makina look at the explosions in space as a dogfight battle appeared.
"the enemy was following us," said Makina with a frown.
"they were after us, weren't they?" Freyja asked.
"no." a voice said as everyone turns to see Ken with Mikumo coming into the room from the elevator. "they were only after Mikumo."
"Captain Siriunis!? Mikumo?!" Kaname stated in surprise as Ken helps Mikumo to the command seat while he went to the monitor board where the Walkure leader is. "are you alright now?"
"I am" said Ken as he started activating his cruiser's battle weapon systems and turned on the autopilot system. Ken grunted as he went to another monitor control board and pressed the number code of VF0013 that showed a green OK sign on the screen.
Everyone looks outside as they see the ship's weaponry activating and started firing at incoming enemy Lucifer units that fly away upon attack.
"I need everyone to stay here" said Ken to the Walkure as he started going to the elevator while holding a hand to his side. "I am going out."
"Ken!?" Mikumo exclaimed as she got off the command seat and went to him. "you can't go!"
Ken just smiled at her as he got into the elevator with the door closing and went down before Mikumo could stop him.
Everyone else looks at Mikumo who just stands by the elevator door, the Mysterious Venus could be heard crying from the over worrying feeling that is rising in her heart for Ken.
In space outside, the Delta Platoon fired at the enemy Lucifers while Scarlet pilots Ken's Durandal, Messiah, and Excalibur Custom to shoot down the black Lucifer unit that has Meltys inside.
"come back here!" Scarlet screamed out from the three units that transformed into Battroid Mode and unleashed swarms of missiles at the single Black Lucifer that is flying away in an escape.
Meltys looks at the three AI controlled units in the Black Lucifer's passenger seat as a black suited pilot is the one who controls it.
"MELTYS!" Scarlet screamed out as the three VF units aimed their plasma rail guns and started firing at the Black Lucifer before chasing after it in Fighter Mode.
Arad and the others flies around as they see the three against one dogfight that is occurring nearby.
"never have I heard Scarlet scream so angrily like that!" said Chuck with a surprised face as his Siegfried had taken down an enemy Lucifer unit.
"Major! Let's give her some support!" Hayate exclaimed on the comms to Arad.
"we could if we can!" Arad replied as his Siegfried flies away while being chased by a Lucifer unit. "but these guys aren't letting us!"
"friendly signal incoming from Captain Siriunis' cruiser!" Mirage reported while her Siegfried shot down the Lucifer that was chasing after Arad.
Arad turns to look and sees a black purple Drakken III launching out while firing at nearby Lucifer units that got taken down with ease.
"is Scarlet piloting that one too?!" said Arad as he sees the Drakken III shooting down each enemy Lucifer at high speed.
"no! it's Captain Siriunis!" Mirage replied as the Drakken III flies by her unit before transforming into Battroid Mode to unleash a storm of missiles at three enemy Lucifer units that were shot down and exploded.
"that guy's stupid! He's still recovering, isn't he!?" said Hayate while his Siegfried floats nearby Chuck's in Battroid Mode.
"give him some support!" Arad exclaimed as his Siegfried flies away in catching up with the Drakken III.
"roger!" Hayate and the others replied as their units flew off.
We turn our attention to Ken who is piloting the Drakken III. The man is grunting in pain as he felt his heard was going to split in half.
'I'm not going back into my dreams till that bitch is dead!' Ken screamed in his mind as both of his eyes glows red while glowing purple tattoo marks started to appear and glow all around his body. 'I'm going to make sure that she's dead!'
The Drakken III's systems went to overdrive as the unit shot down any Lucifer that it comes near before it transformed into Battroid Mode while taking out its stored sword and use it to cut down a Lucifer right from the cockpit area before flying away in Fighter mode.
Meltys' Lucifer comes into sight of the Drakken III's radar as Ken pressed a button and the missiles fired at the enemy unit that soon flies away while shooting the incoming missiles down.
Ken's Drakken III joined up with his Durandal and the other units as the four VF units chased after the single VF-27 black Lucifer at high speed.
Meltys looks at the incoming four VF units as she clicked her tongue in annoyance before she takes out a data pad and activates a few of its systems in it.
"till next time, Ken" said Meltys before a fold portal opened a few feet away from Meltys's Lucifer. "till next time."
"don't let her get away!" Scarlet screamed before the Durandal fired all its weaponry along with the Messiah, and Excalibur Custom.
Ken grunted as he was about fire the Drakken III's weapons when the controls started to explode on him.
"what?!" Ken gasped in surprise as he shielded his face as the controls were exploding on him before the Drakken III's thrusters exploded and the entire system shut down.
Meltys' Lucifer flies into the Defold Portal and disappeared into it while escaping the hail of plasma beams and missiles that just caused an explosion.
"damnit!" Scarlet curses as the Durandal, Messiah, and Excalibur Custom transforms into Battroid Mode while floating in space. "she got away!"
"Scarlet!" Arad called out as the Delta Platoon's Siegfried flies by and transforms into Battroid Mode.
"she got away!" said Scarlet as the Durandal turns its head to look at Arad's Siegfried. "I am going to track where that Defold portal left her be!"
"we can talk about that later!" said Hayate as his Siegfried points at Ken's Drakken III that is just floating while having several small explosions from the thrusters. "the Captain is in trouble!"
"r-right!" said Scarlet as the Messiah and Excalibur Custom flies towards the damaged Drakken III.
Ken sat within the Drakken III before he started coughing blood in his helmet.
"damnit…" Ken grunted before his eyes widen and he sees flashback images of memories that are Ken Siriunis' and another which he doesn't know. his left eye glows as the image of the galaxy appeared within the pupil "t-this is…."
