It's been a bit longer than two weeks, but oh well. At this point, me being late is par for the course. Well, household announcement here is that we've entered the final three chapters now. That means that I will indeed be making a sequel, because there's far too much story left to do it all in this one. This chapter is…a bit clunky, I admit. But it sets up what I want to set up, and I think it's pretty decent all the same. Please let me know what you think!
Chapter Twenty-Seven: Homecoming
The sky above Vale was filled with airships and Grimm. Nevermores flew between the airships, firing their huge feathers at the Atlesian fleet. The attacks didn't do much, but they kept the ships busy. Bat-like Desmodai flitted up and down between the ships and streets below. Columns of smoke rose from everywhere in the city, but mostly close to the outer edges.
I could see Amity Colosseum in the distance, guarded by several Atlesian airships, but also under constant attack by a large number of Grimm. Even here in the distance, the air felt heavy. Cinder was probably using the Guide, and I imagined that Amity Colosseum was the target.
"Where to, Ruby?" Coral asked.
I frowned. I had to find either Professor Ozpin or General Ironwood, but I had no idea where they were. I would go after Cinder instead, but I didn't know where she was either. The Colosseum?
I glanced from the Colosseum to the smoking city and back. The Colosseum would have a lot of Huntsmen defending it, so even though it was under heavy attack, the people there would probably be as safe as they could be. Even if Professor Ozpin or the General were there, the people in the city below would be needing all the help they could get.
I looked at Coral and Sand, then over my shoulder at the cargo area. Most of the White Fang members in our two airships still had their weapons, and against most of these Grimm they'd probably work a lot better than they did on Perditus.
The radio crackled, and I exchanged a quick glance with Coral. Ever since Cinder's interruption, we'd been entirely unable to contact anyone. Why was it working now?
Coral pressed a button, putting the message on speaker throughout the airship.
"To all White Fang members: attack everyone who is not our brother or sister. Today, we cast off the shackles of oppression. Today, the Humans, and those Faunus who have stood idly by while we suffered, will pay for their transgressions. Fuel the flames and tear down the city, and from its ashes we will build a new kingdom, our kingdom. Fight, my brothers and sisters, for today is our day!"
The radio snapped off.
"Adam," I said softly.
So Adam was in Vale as well? Had we traveled all around the world, only to end up back home for the final fight with all the bad guys? It sure seemed like it.
"Fly low over the city," I said. "If there are people down there who are in trouble, I'll jump out. I know I can't give you orders, but…the people here could really use your help."
I looked at Coral with what I hoped was a confident look. "If you really want to help the Faunus, then fight the Grimm, and fight the White Fang. Adam's way is not the right way, and I know you know this."
He nodded, then looked at Sand. Sand scoffed. "If we'd continued to follow Adam, every single person in this airship would be dead right now. I feel no loyalty to him anymore. You saved our lives even though we wanted you dead. Now it's our turn to help people."
I smiled. "Thanks," I said.
Sand steered the airship downward, and it wasn't much later that the Grimm began to notice us.
"You just keep flying, I'll deal with the Grimm," I said.
I left the cockpit and crossed the cargo area, where some of the other White Fang members had already begun shooting the Grimm through the hatch on the back of the airship. I quickly made my way over to the very edge of the ramp and unfolded Crescent Rose into her sniper form.
I looked through the scope and slowed my breathing. Most of the Grimm near the airship were Desmodai, which were really only a threat in large groups and at very close range, and the guns of the White Fang did a pretty good job at keeping them far enough away.
Further back, though, I saw a Nevermore making its way over to us. While its feather missiles couldn't do much against the armored Atlesian warships, they were probably strong enough to puncture the thin hull of the White Fang's light cargo ship.
"Do we have any Ice Dust?" I asked one of the White Fang next to me.
Normally, I'd team up with Weiss to treat the Nevermore to an Ice Flower, but Weiss wasn't here. I'd have to take care of this on my own.
I hope you're okay, Weiss. I'm sorry I couldn't come to Vacuo to find you…
"I've got some, here," another White Fang member right behind me said, handing me a small vial of Dust.
"Thanks."
It wasn't much, but it would have to do. I quickly modified a couple of the rounds in my magazine, smiling lightly when I thought about my first meeting with Weiss, involving a similar-looking vial of Dust. Already, I couldn't wait to share my stories with her after all of this was over.
In the back of my mind, I saw flashes of Northern Star, of the Goliath, of Cole, but I pushed them away. This was different. I would not fail again.
I reinserted my magazine and took aim at the Nevermore, which had to nearly be close enough to use its feather missiles at this point. There was only enough Dust to modify five rounds, so I'd have to make every shot count.
I carefully aimed for the chest, just next to its right wing joint. The Nevermore was flying straight, not concerned about any possible attacks from us. I wasn't going to get a better chance than this.
I fired, immediately switched my aim to the other wing joint, and fired again. Both rounds hit, the second one hitting the wing, rather than the joint itself, because the Nevermore had jerked back from the impact of my first shot.
I could see the sheets of ice forming on the feathers, slowing down the wings, but without Weiss's help there wasn't enough ice to stop them completely.
The Grimm was slowed, though, so I tried to hit the same spots again to stack the effects. This time, the bird dipped down a bit, before beating its wings more powerfully to get back some of the altitude it had lost.
It struggled, raising up its head as it did so — and exposing the throat. I took aim and fired my last ice bullet. It hit the Nevermore dead center in the throat, freezing its neck enough to keep it from lowering its head, so I fired three regular rounds in quick succession, finally piercing through and sending the Grimm plummeting to the ground below, already beginning to disintegrate as it fell.
The White Fang members around me cheered, and I awkwardly smiled at them.
An explosion just below us rocked the airship. I guess it knocked some of the White Fang members off their feet, but I had no way to tell, because the jolt shook me off the ramp.
That's the second time I'm falling from this particular airship.
I saw smoke trailing from the airship, but it did appear to still be capable of flying. I also saw the other White Fang airship nearby, which was quickly trying to get higher up to prevent themselves from becoming a target.
I turned in midair so I could see how far the ground was. The White Fang would have to take care of themselves for the time being, but they could probably do it. I saw the faint trail of exhaust from the missile, which seemed to have been fired from between the large shipping containers beneath me. I was falling straight towards the docks where Penny and I had found Blake and fought Torchwick. Wow, today really was a day of revisiting old moments, wasn't it?
I could see the White Fang members running between the containers. Some of them were already taking aim at me, by the looks of it, and since I had no intention of being an easy target, I turned onto my back again, firing Crescent Rose into the air to recoil-boost myself down even faster, making myself harder to hit.
I quickly flipped around again, firing a couple of quick shots to slow myself down before I hit the ground. I landed a bit faster than I normally would, and used my overspeed to roll forwards.
As soon as I felt the ground under my feet again, I focused my Aura and burst forwards towards the gathering White Fang members.
I unfolded Crescent Rose and made short work of the small group, then recoil-boosted myself up one of the containers, so I could run across the tops and attack the remaining White Fang members from above.
I didn't really know why they were here, since the docks weren't really the most crowded of places. But maybe that was the whole reason they came here in the first place. It would keep them safe from the Grimm, while technically still following Adam's orders. They didn't care how many people in the city died, as long as they themselves survived.
I slammed another White Fang member into one of the containers. He fell on the ground, unconscious. As much as I wanted to hate them, I really couldn't blame them for not wanting to go into a Grimm-infested city. And as long as they were here, the odds of them shooting innocent civilians were slim. These guys were cowards, yes, but they weren't the worst.
The worst ones would most likely be in the center of the city. There wouldn't be that many Grimm yet, since the ones that couldn't fly had to fight their way through the city, but the city center would probably be the place where all the people would flee through, if they were heading to Beacon. If the White Fang was waiting for them there it would be a bloodbath. There was no way I was going to let that happen. Not again. And definitely not in my city.
I dashed out from between the containers and into the open, and immediately I was surrounded by more White Fang. How many of them were there?!
"I don't have time for this…" I muttered.
I crouched, and the White Fang members raised their guns. I smirked.
"Now you see me," I said, and then I activated my Semblance and dashed forwards, racing between the White Fang and pulling them along in my slipstream, just like I'd done to Team JNPR during our food fight.
I stopped using my Semblance to save my energy and carried on running normally. I glanced over my shoulder at the White Fang members, who were now struggling to get back to their feet.
"And now you don't."
The streets weren't as filled with people as they had been in Northern Star, and there weren't nearly as many Grimm. Every now and then I ran into small groups of people being harassed by Desmodai, but to my great relief I saw Atlesian Knights in the streets as well, making short work of them. With the bigger Nevermores still distracted by the warships above us and the other Grimm still further towards the outskirts of the city, I'd almost call things quiet and peaceful.
Sadly for me, things didn't stay that way for very long. I had just rounded a corner when I heard the sound of gunfire. By the sound of it, it was only one or two streets away. Two streets away…wasn't that that popular sports bar? People would definitely have been watching the finals of Vytal Festival from there.
I sped up, and as I got closer, I could hear voices getting louder. I ran into the street, already looking at the sports bar, a hundred meters or so away.
The door was surrounded by White Fang members. Broken Atlesian Knights lay scattered through the street. The White Fang members closest to the store were firing into the bar through the broken windows and the door.
"No!" I blurred forwards, readying Crescent Rose as I did so.
In one swipe, I barreled over the White Fang members crowded around the door, and with a few quick twirls I took down the rest as well. I entered the bar and instantly felt sick. There were wounded and dead people everywhere.
In my head, I saw Cole again, dying in the streets of Northern Star, with me unable to do anything… No! No. I couldn't lose it again.
Think, Ruby, think. There are wounded people here, and they need help. That's the first priority.
I took a deep breath to steady myself and tried to ignore the blood.
"Does anyone have a working scroll?" I asked.
"Y-yes, I do," a woman, who was lying against the left wall, said. She was clutching her right leg, which was bleeding badly, but not so much that she would bleed out. I hoped.
"Okay, um…Call for…"
I hesitated. Who would be available to help right now? The entire city was under attack, wasn't it? The lines would probably be clogged up.
"Different plan. Does anyone have any transport?" I asked.
"Maybe," a man who stood up from behind the bar said. He looked shaken, but unharmed. "If they didn't destroy my car, I think I can get some people out of here. But where can we go?"
Again, I didn't really know the answer. I'd come from the industrial district, and the roads from there had been pretty empty, all things considered. Deeper into the residential district, and especially near the hospital, that probably wouldn't be the case.
I had never wished for my teammates to be with me as much as I did right then. Surely one of them would've had an idea. I was just good at coming up with battle plans against the Grimm. My medical knowledge really didn't go much further than applying a band-aid, and here I was trying to coordinate a bar full of wounded and dead people, without any plan.
But I couldn't just stand and do nothing. These people were looking to me for help, and I was going to give it, one way or another. I had to think. What these people needed, obviously, was medical help. I had no way to get everyone to the hospital, but maybe…maybe there was another way.
"Okay," I said again. "I'm going to go to the hospital and bring someone here who can help you."
I glanced outside. The White Fang members I'd beaten were either still unconscious, or they'd already fled. None of them seemed to pose an immediate threat, but I couldn't leave them there unguarded.
"If any of you are uninjured, keep an eye on the White Fang. Keep the guns away from them. I'll get back here as soon as I can, with a doctor."
"You're just going to run and leave us here, aren't you?" a woman with dark hair asked. She was cradling an arm that looked broken, rather than shot.
"I'll come back," I said. "I know you probably don't believe me right now, but I promise you that I'll come back."
The hospital was only a couple of blocks away. If I used my Semblance, I could be there in just a few minutes. The way back would be slower, since I'd have to carry a doctor, and of course I had to find a doctor in the first place, but all in all…
"I'll be back within an hour," I said.
It didn't look like the woman believed me, but she said nothing. I walked outside and smiled encouragingly at the people inside, especially the four people who followed me outside to take the weapons still scattered in the street.
Once all the guns were out of reach of the White Fang, I focused my Aura and ran off. I wasn't sure what I'd find when I got back. I didn't think the White Fang would come back with reinforcements immediately, given the general chaos in other places in the city, but I didn't completely trust the injured people in the bar to not shoot the defeated White Fang members the moment I was out of sight. But what else could I have done? The injured people needed help as soon as possible, and no one could get to the hospital and back quicker than I could.
The road to the hospital wasn't nearly as quiet as the one from the industrial quarter to the bar had been. Here, cars littered the road, and panicked people were making their way in the direction of the city center. There were still Atlesian Knights among them, firing up at the Desmodai, but there were far more Grimm here.
I had no time to stay and fight them all, but I did try to shoot down a couple of them as I ran past. As much as I'd love to help every single person there individually, even I wasn't naïve enough to believe I could.
When the road was too crowded to safely use my Semblance, I dashed along the walls of the buildings in short bursts to keep up my speed.
All in all, I was much slower than I would've liked, but eventually I did make it to the hospital. Just like I thought, the entrance was being swarmed by people.
Most of them didn't even seem hurt. I think they just expected the hospital to be a place safe from attack. If the larger, more powerful Grimm made it here, it definitely wouldn't be, though I didn't even know for sure if the White Fang wouldn't get here sooner. But maybe even they were hesitant to attack a hospital. I certainly hoped they were, because it meant there was still some humanity left in them.
The driveway the ambulances used was guarded by several Atlesian Knights, which were struggling to keep people from mobbing the back entrance as well. It was kind of funny to see the robots switching from firing at any Grimm that came within their range, to holstering their weapons and spreading out their arms to grab and gently push back people who tried to get past them.
Behind the first line were a few more Knights, apparently tasked with taking care of the people who got past the first line. By the looks of it, they'd been standing guard there for a while, because not many people were still trying to get by them. I approached the Knights.
One of them spotted me and said, "Halt. Access beyond this point is prohibited. Please form an orderly queue at the front entrance if you require medical assistance."
"I'm a Huntress from Beacon," I said. "There are injured people in a bar a few blocks from here and they need help."
"Access beyond this point is prohibited," the Knight said again. "Please form…"
"Yes, I know, but I'm not the one who needs medical assistance," I said.
"Access beyond this point is…"
I sighed. This wasn't going to get me anywhere. If I ran into General Ironwood at some point, I'd have to tell him to give his Knights just a bit more personality.
For now, though, I'd have to break the rules. I hoped the Knights wouldn't resort to shooting me, because I didn't want to break the machines keeping the people safe.
I walked a short distance away, then unfolded Crescent Rose and recoil-boosted myself over the Knights. Two of the Knights in the rear guard immediately turned around and began to walk in my direction, but luckily they didn't draw their guns.
I quickly ran towards the parking lot. While the regular ambulances were probably mostly stuck in the endless rows of cars along the main roads of the city, this particular hospital had three small air ambulances as well, and one of them had just touched down. Orderlies came out of the back, unloading several stretchers with people on them. A nurse near the door directed them to empty emergency rooms.
I ran over to her, and as soon as she saw me she began shouting. "Hey, you! No sneaking past the Knights! This area is off limits, so get back to the front! I swear, if those Knights weren't machines I'd call them lazy bastards…"
"I know I'm not supposed to be here," I said, holding up my hands in a gesture of peace and quickly glancing over my shoulder to see how close the Knights had gotten.
They were still getting closer, but I guess they'd been programmed to not appear too threatening to people, because they weren't walking particularly fast.
I turned back towards the nurse. "The Offside Bar was just attacked by the White Fang, and there are a lot of injured people there. I need someone to come with me to take care of them until you can send an ambulance," I said.
The nurse's expression softened a bit and she said, "I'm glad the students of Beacon are trying to help, but I don't know if we have anyone available who…"
"I can go," someone behind me said.
I turned around and saw a man in the pale green clothes the doctors of the hospital wore. He had blue eyes, light brown hair, and two cat ears of the same color as his hair.
"My shift just ended, officially, and Vermillion just clocked in, but this isn't exactly a normal night. If I can help, I will." He held up a bag. "I have some basic materials right here, so I'll probably be able to provide first aid, at least."
The nurse nodded slowly. She looked at me. "Well, you heard him. Get going, and good luck. We'll send an air ambulance over as soon as we can."
At that moment, the two Atlesian Knights reached me. They grabbed my arms and began to drag me off.
"Hey! Let me go!" I shouted.
"Please form an orderly queue at the front entrance if you require medical assistance," both said at the exact same time.
"Knights, stand down. Override VX-3," the doctor next to me said.
The Knights stopped pulling on my arms, but they didn't let go just yet.
"Please verify identity," the left Knight said.
The doctor held out his scroll and the Knights quickly scanned it. Their visors flashed blue, which I guess meant that the doctor's command was accepted.
"Acknowledged. Resuming guard duty," the Knights said.
They let me go and began marching back to their friends.
"Thanks," I said.
The doctor smiled. "Don't worry about it. Now, let's get going. The bar is a few blocks away, so we should probably hurry."
I nodded. "Right. We'll be fastest if I carry you," I said.
The doctor blinked. "Carry me?" he repeated.
"I'm a Huntress," I said proudly. "Carrying you shouldn't be a problem."
The doctor seemed to think I was in over my head, but he did what I asked of him. He had to pull up his legs a bit to not hit the ground, but I could use my Aura to make the weight manageable. He was still lighter than Penny — though I wasn't going to mention that to her. I have no idea if she's sensitive about her weight, really, but since a lot of girls are…yeah, better not mention it.
Once we were out of the parking lot, I took a deep breath and activated my Semblance, using a row of cars like stepping stones to prevent myself from running into anyone.
A couple of streets from the hospital, I stopped for a moment to catch my breath.
"You…are really fast," the doctor commented when I put him down.
I grinned at him. "Told you I could do it," I said.
My smile widened a bit at the thought of saying those very same words to the woman in the bar, who hadn't believed that I'd come back at all. I couldn't wait to see her expression.
Not much later, the doctor and I arrived at the bar. I'd had to take a couple of detours to avoid fights between Grimm and Atlesian Knights, but fortunately we weren't slowed down too much.
When we arrived, I was relieved to see that none of the White Fang members had been killed. They were all bound up, but none of them looked any more injured than they'd been when I left.
Two people from the bar were keeping an eye on them, clumsily holding the White Fang's guns.
"I'm back," I said a little unnecessarily.
"And not a moment too soon," the man closest to me said. "Some of the people are in a bad way."
The doctor and I stepped inside. The tables in the bar had been moved to the sides, and the injured people were lying or sitting on tablecloths spread over the floor.
The dead people were nowhere to be seen. Part of me was glad about that. I knew I'd probably see a lot more dead people in my life as a Huntress, but that didn't mean I liked it.
The doctor stepped forward, but the moment he did the woman with the broken arm gasped loudly.
"You brought one of them?!" she shrieked.
It took me a moment to figure out what she meant, but then it clicked. "One of…you mean a Faunus?" I asked.
"First they shoot up the place, and now you bring one over to finish the job, is that it?!"
I glanced at the doctor, who was silently examining the woman with the bullet wound in her leg. I looked around at the other people, and while a few looked embarrassed for the outburst from the woman with the broken arm, a lot of them seemed to agree with her, judging by their expressions.
"I don't want him anywhere near me! I'd rather die!"
A lot of things went through my mind right then. I remembered the way Weiss had talked about the Faunus and the White Fang, before we found out that Blake was one. I remembered the way Cardin always picked on Velvet, and how Velvet refused to fight back even though she was much stronger than him. And now, I saw the doctor not giving any response to this woman insulting him, even though he was there to help her. Was this how it always was? Were the choices of the Faunus limited to sitting there and taking it, or being accused of terrorism?
I glared at the hysterical woman. "Are you serious?!" I demanded. "Are you really going to sit there and scream because the doctor happens to have cute fuzzy ears?! Really?! He is here of his own will to help you, while the city is under attack by Grimm, people around you are actually dying, have actually died right next to you, and you still say you'd rather die than be helped by a Faunus doctor? What is wrong with you?!"
To my surprise, it was the doctor who answered. "Just leave it. The White Fang haven't done the reputation of the Faunus much good, sadly. Too many people see their prejudices vindicated by the atrocities committed by a few. The people here are injured because of the White Fang. I understand their fear and anger."
He smiled faintly. "I don't condone prejudice, but I can't really blame people who've just been shot for not being entirely rational. Plus, Faunus or not, as a doctor I've had a lot of anger and frustration directed at me over the years. I can deal with it. I appreciate you standing up for me, but you should turn your attention to the Grimm and the White Fang. I'm sure there are a lot of other people in the city who need your help."
I looked from the doctor to the hysterical woman, who seemed to have calmed down a bit, and who even looked a bit ashamed of herself.
I sighed. "I guess you're right. Well…good luck, then. And thanks for coming with me," I said, feeling a bit guilty for dragging him into such a hateful situation.
"Of course. Helping people is my job, after all, just like it's yours," he said with a smile.
I smiled back. "Then let's both do our best."
[hr]
As I made my way further into the city, the number of Grimm began to increase. Lone Beowolves, Ursai, and Boarbatusks now showed up every now and then, which meant that whoever was fighting on the outskirts of the city was slowly but surely losing the fight.
It surprised me I hadn't run into any other Huntsmen yet, but most of them would probably have been at the Amity Colosseum, or guarding the walls and outskirts of the city. And, hopefully, there would be Huntsmen at Beacon, because that's where I was sending any people I came across.
I entered a shopping district, and up ahead I noticed a group of people being attacked by Desmodai from the sky, and Beowolves on the ground. They had a couple of Atlesian Knights helping them, but the two robots clearly weren't enough.
I dashed over, recoil-boosted into the air, and cut down two Desmodai at once. As soon as I landed, I fired Crescent Rose again to launch myself at the nearest Beowolf, which I decapitated with ease.
The second Beowolf lunged at me, but I sidestepped, hooked my blade around its midriff, and cut it in half. The third Beowolf was a bit further away, so I anchored Crescent Rose into the road and shot it right between the eyes.
I turned around to look at the group of people. I grinned at them and gave them a victory sign.
"T-thanks," the girl in front said.
I wanted to reply, but then I heard a noise that made me feel like I'd been dunked in ice water. A sound I'd only heard once before, in Northern Star. A distorted, trumpeting sound.
I looked in the direction of the sound, and then I saw it. A Goliath, walking across a crossroads just two hundred meters away or so, directly towards us.
I saw Cole in my mind. I saw the Goliath crushing him and his friend. I felt the same anger I had felt back then…but I wasn't going to break down. Not now.
I turned towards the terrified people behind me. "Get towards Beacon. I'll distract the Goliath and then I'll come after you," I said.
"There's no way you can…" the girl began.
"I know," I interrupted. "I'm not going to kill it. Just keep it busy so you can get away. I'm faster than it, so I'll be fine even if I can't kill it."
The group of people didn't waste any more time and set off, followed by the damaged Atlesian Knights.
I turned back towards the approaching Goliath. It had definitely felt the fear from the people and it wanted to kill them.
I was afraid, too. If a Goliath had made it this far into Vale, then the districts closer to the walls were probably completely overrun by now. If all the Huntsmen in Vale, with half the Atlesian air fleet above them, couldn't stop these Grimm, who could?
But no one would be helped by me panicking and losing it again. Maybe if I told myself that often enough, I could make the fear stop.
I looked at the Goliath. There was no way I could hurt it; I knew that from last time. Its armored hide could stop even Crescent Rose's most powerful shot. The bony plate on its face probably made its head even tougher than the rest of it. Its golden eyes seemed to glow with pleasure as it took in the negative emotions around it.
Wait…the eyes. The eyes probably weren't as well armored as the rest of it. Okay, I based that on pretty much nothing, but still. They formed a tiny target, but Crescent Rose wasn't a sniper rifle for nothing. And at this range, there was no way I'd miss.
I recoil-boosted backwards to give myself just a little bit more space, then anchored Crescent Rose in the ground. I looked through the scope and took aim at the Goliath's right eye. It was still casually walking forward, confident in its own invincibility. I really, really hoped I was about to shatter that illusion.
I squeezed the trigger. The Goliath trumpeted loudly and tossed its head. It stepped backwards, slamming into the side of one of the buildings. The walls cracked and pieces began to fall out, but the building didn't collapse.
The Goliath turned back towards me, but its right eye was now black and smoking.
"Yes!" I said, grinning to myself.
It might not be deadly, but at least I could hurt it now. My fear began to fade away. This rematch wouldn't bring Cole or any of the other people from Northern Star or Vale back…but at least I knew that even a Goliath wasn't completely invincible. And if they weren't, then other Grimm weren't either. They could be stopped.
I quickly took aim again and shot the other eye. The Goliath now reared up on its hind legs, roaring and trumpeting in anger and pain.
I knew there wasn't much more I could do, so I collapsed Crescent Rose and turned around to run away, but an explosion in the sky above me made me pause. I saw a ball of fire exploding from one of the Atlesian warships, and it began to fall. It was going to land right on the city.
Bit of an abrupt ending, I know, but if you've been reading this story for a while, you'll have noticed that I like those. Only two chapters left now. Please let me know your thoughts on this one. Don't be afraid to burn it to the ground, either. While I can't promise I'll follow every suggestion, every perspective is a valuable one. Thanks, and see you next time!
