Chapter 26

'Thinking' – thoughts

"Speaking" – speech

'Thinking' – Dragon/God/Beast thinking

"Speaking" - Dragon/God/Beast speaking

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or any of its characters they are property of Hiro Masima.

ShadowGOUF: I'm glad you hear the story is enticing you so much. As for Wendy, I haven't planned anything just yet regarding her.

erasenpai946: I think Lisanna might be a good match, will have to see.

Kriim-Sauce786: The cold training thing sounds interesting, I'll be thinking about using that in a later part of their training as they make their way up the mountain. I shared a little bit of light on Haru and his Dragon Slayer Magic in this one and I hope it came out interesting. I like the idea you have with the huge bunch of shurikens, I will see if there is something that I will change about it but the base idea is something I will probably use for new spells that Ultear will use. Ice manipulation will be some of the final parts of the training they will be doing.

Amanny: New foes arise to oppose the protagonist :). 1. for this I assume you're talking about Tenrou, now I don't want to spoil too much but the Seven Year time skip will happen, take from that what you will. 2. Since there isn't really a lot of information about Ur's power in the anime I can't really compare to that, if you want to know if she will be stronger than she was before she used Iced Shell, then eventually, but not yet, after this training I will decide where she would scale up ( it will be a high tier mage definitely, just not sure exactly how high right now) 3. Yeah I like the Haru x Lisanna idea at the moment.

Vincent blames: Oracion Seis is still some ways away. I'm not exactly sure how many chapters this arc will take but the juicy parts will start to appear in the next chapter.

- Triade Valley -

The lush green landscape that had once covered the valley was now gone, leaving a barren wasteland devoid of life and colour, a purplish hue buzzing in the air. The only signs of life were the four Fairy Tail mages, one blue cat and a dark-cloaked man.

Lucy was hugging Happy, both their eyes squeezed shut and fear controlling their expressions and bodies. Erza was on her knees, terrified eyes staring straight ahead as her arms hung at her sides and two halves of a large shield on either side of her. Gray was crouched over, fists clenched in fear and a few drops of tears falling to the ground. Haru was the only Fairy Tail mage that didn't seem like he had accepted death. He had a hard expression on his face, jaw clenched and fists balled but standing up straight and looking the cloaked man in the eyes.

Natsu had his hand extended, almost touching Erza's forehead, his eyes devoid of emotion. Slowly he pulled his fist back and his posture eased up as he exhaled. Without warning his knees buckled and he almost stumbled forward but he managed to catch himself before that happened.

"Dout geou ui plythu. Ergriff ir tepohaic wer dastudr di geou," Natsu said with a steeled gaze, shifting his faze to Haru for the last part.

Erza was the first one to come back to her senses. She looked at the barren landscape around her with tingles of fear and awe. She had never seen such a display of power yet she was confused because she didn't take any damage.

"What was that?" Erza asked silently with a confused expression. She saw her two halves of her shield. She dispelled them back to her re-quip space before turning to Natsu.

"Why did you attack us and why didn't we take any damage from it while the area around us is completely destroyed?" Erza asked as she tried to stand up but failed since her legs were still too wobbly from the fear she felt when Natsu launched his attack.

"I never attacked you, merely tested your will," Natsu said as he rested his gaze on Erza.

"Tested out will, what do you mean by that and why didn't your attack affect us?" Erza asked, not understanding what he meant and how launching an attack that destroyed the life in the valley yet left them completely unharmed.

"I have no reason to answer your questions, the only reason I am here is due to my offer to Haru. Though I did tell him to come alone, not bring his guildmates with him," Natsu replied turning his gaze back to Haru and starting to make his way over to him. This caused Haru's steeled expression to falter and panic started to enter his visage.

"I told them not to come but Gramps ordered them to come with me," Haru frantically said.

"So the only reason you didn't entertain my request was because of your Master's orders?" Natsu questioned.

"Yes," Haru practically shouted in relief.

"We have come here to train with you, since you already offered Haru training we thought it would be beneficial to go along with him," Erza said finally being able to get to her feet while Gray Lucy and Happy stayed on the ground, choosing not to speak, fearing the power of the dark-cloaked man.

"That was a foolish thought," Natsu said with a dead expression.

"Well since we're here we will be joining you," Erza stated with a confident smirk.

"Then you will die," Natsu said in an eerie voice as his gaze sharpened and rested on Erza who had to fight hard not to flinch.

"Wh-What do you mean by that?" Lucy asked in a fearful tone, hoping that Erza's words didn't just sign their death warrant.

"We are wasting time, come Haru," Natsu said as he turned around and started making his way out of the valley, leaving Lucy's question in the air. Casting a quick look at his friends Haru started making his way to Natsu.

"I did not say you can leave," Erza said in a dangerous tone, forgetting who she was talking about and falling back into her usual self when she is denied something without sufficient reason according to her standards.

When Natsu ignored her and continued walking her eye twitched in anger. Her composure faltered. A sword appeared in her hand as she rushed forward.

"You will not turn your back on me," Erza roared as she quickly approached Natsu. Gray and Lucy were horrified to see Erza charging the monster of a man while Haru had a worried expression mixed with a bit of anger. 'If she is the reason Natsu leaves without me…' Haru thought.

As Erza's sword neared Natsu he started fading into his own shadow.

"You will not get away," Erza shouted as she sliced her sword downwards. Her irritation with the man only increased when her blade merely cut through the last bit of shadows before Natsu completely disappeared.

Haru just stared at the spot Natsu had been in moments before Erza tried to attack him. His body was frozen in shock while his mind was starting to fall into momentary despair. His one chance at being trained by a more experienced Dragon Slayer, one that clearly knows a lot more about the magic itself, just melted into the shadows all thanks to the hot-headed red-haired knight known as Erza Scarlet.

"Why couldn't you all just have stayed back at the guild and let me have this one thing. This was my only chance to get trained and you guys have ruined it," Haru shouted after an elongated moment of silence which was only broken by Erza ranting and shouting for 'Death Walker' to show himself.

Once Haru shouted though, Erza fell silent and looked at the Dragon Slayer and was surprised to see the hurt on his face. She, along with Gray and Lucy was surprised at the combination of anger in his voice and sadness on his face.

"We can still go on a training trip together right?" Lucy suggested, hoping to cheer the Dragon Slayer up.

"Yeah, Flame Brain, and I bet if we all train together we will get much better results than we would have if we went with that guy," Gray added.

You guys don't understand a thing about this. All of your magics are a lot more common or well documented than Dragon Slayer Magic. You all can just go to a bookstore or library and probably find some book about your magic, but there is nothing like that for Dragon Slayer," Haru said a broken tone at the beginning before it was tainted with hints of resentment towards the end.

"There are sure to be books about Dragon Slayer Magic, you just have to go look," Erza said with a dismissive tone, not believing that she could have crushed her comrade's hopes of furthering his magic.

"Yeah Hot Head, you know if you want to get a book you also actually need to go to a library, not just assume things. Heck, I bet you don't even know where the library is in the guildhall," Gray remarked with a chuckle.

"That's where you're wrong Gray. I have looked for something like that ever since Erza first mentioned libraries back when I joined the guild. The only books that have anything to with Dragon Slayer Magic are books that only refer to it when they talk about the history and certain periods or how the lacrima are made, but nothing that can help with furthering my magic," Haru said with a serious expression, even calling Gray by his name before desperation and sadness seeped into his voice as he neared the end.

"Come now, I'm sure there are some books on them, maybe not in Magnolia but surely in other cities," Erza said, still refusing to believe she crusher her friend's hopes of bettering himself in his magic, but the idea had planted it in her mind.

"There is a massive library in Crocus. There's bound to be something there," Lucy said with a cheerier attitude, hoping that she found a solution to the problem.

"I already looked into that and there's nothing there. Why couldn't you just listen to him when he said you couldn't come? Why couldn't you have listened to me when I told you, multiple times, he asked for me to come alone? Why do you always do things like this?" Haru replied, despair still in his voice at the start before morphing into an accusing tone.

"I'm sorry Haru, you may strike me," Erza said after a moment of silence where Haru's words sunk into the group. Erza walked up to Haru and bowed before him, waiting for him to punish her for what she essentially stole from him.

"You really don't get it, do you? Do you think this will make amends for this? Why do you always do this, ask for forgiveness and someone to strike you? That never happens for one, and the other thing, do you even know how hard it is to try and develop your own spells? All of you have a massive reserve of knowledge about your magics waiting for you to read it. Maker magic is a very common form with all of the different kinds of elements used in it. Now don't get me wrong Gray, I can understand that Ice and say Earth Maker magics are quite different but they all come from the same place," Haru started accusingly before once again descending not a sorrowful tone, quickly answering Gray's unspoken objection with a statement he couldn't argue against.

"While Celestial Magic is rare, you still have your spirits to ask, even if you can't find a book, and honestly, that is even better, learning from the source. And then there is you Erza, first off Re-quip is a very common form of magic, apart from your 'The Knight' ability, so finding new information about it is very easy. Secondly, most of your combat prowess comes from your fighting style and being able to shift between styles so that it will fit whatever armour you have on. For you, it's the easiest to learn more. For me though, there aren't any other well-known magics that are similar to Dragon Slayer Magic, no books about even the basics of performing the magic or any Dragons around. This was my one chance to learn more…" Haru continued, the feeling of defeat rising around him near the end.

Erza looked at Haru with a hurt expression. She knew that even if she tried to deny it she was responsible for this. 'If only I managed to keep my cool, but I just had to know exactly what's going on,' Erza chastised herself.

"I'm sorry Haru, truly. I promise I will help you to the best of my abilities and help you develop something new," Erza said, feeling regret for what she did.

"Yeah, I'm sure if we look really hard we will also be able to find some book that will help you," Lucy said with a smile, hoping to cheer Haru up. Gray didn't say anything, not to his rival, but he was willing to help Haru out.

"All right," Haru said with a sigh, clearly not enthusiastic about the situation but not seeing any other outcome since Natsu is gone. The group turned around, ready to leave when Haru heard something that made him stop.

-Unknown Location-

A large man in a brown cloak looked in morbid fascination at the vortex of purple, grey and black that rose from the valley. 'This is my chance to get some answers, there is no doubt it's him,' the man thought as he changed his direction to where the vortex originated from.

-With Ur and Ultear-

"Come Ultear, once we reach the cabin I booked for the week we will start our training," Ur said as the mother-daughter duo left the town with backpacks filled with provisions.

"What will we be doing first?" Ultear asked.

"The basics of maker magic originates from the mind. So the first thing we will do is meditate. Now, this shouldn't take too long since we both have already used Ice-Make Magic, but the idea for this exercise is to condition our minds to accept the cold. We will be out in the snow while we meditate and the goal is to unconsciously form a small snowstorm around ourselves," Ur explained.

"I hope that won't take too long," Ultear said, not looking forward to sitting in the old for too long.

"You won't even realise that we are outside once we start,' Ur said with a laugh.

"We'll see about that," Ultear replied with a pout.

The two set off to the lower parts of Mt Hakobe to begin their training session. They quickly arrived at the cabin Ur rented for the trip and after putting their luggage and supplies down Ur led Ultear outside.

"The best way to feel our magic is to strip down to our undergarments. I made sure that this location is isolated and that no one will stumble here by accident and I had someone place warding runes in a large perimeter that will alert us ahead of time if something or someone is near," Ur explained as she took off her shirt, adding the explanation about their privacy when she saw Ultear about to refuse.

"If no one will come near, I guess I'll do it. But if the wards are triggered someone will be gravely injured," Ultear said with a bit of uncertainty before switching to a serious demeanour for the last part.

"Well, target dummies that can move without us using magic can be useful," Ur replied with a giggle.

"Now let's begin," Ur instructed as the two sat down on the cold snow and closed their eyes, focusing on the magic flowing from the ice and their bodies.

-With Team Erza-

"Hey, Haru you come…" Erza asked as she turned around when she noticed the Dragon Slayer not following them when she saw something that lifted a massive weight off her shoulders. Haru was looking back to where they had encountered Natsu just as the man himself rising from the shadows.

"Seems like you calmed down Erza. You are aware that temper of yours will get you into a lot of trouble," Natsu said with an even voice but Erza could swear there was an underlying hint of a condescending tone.

"Wait, you didn't leave because of what happened?" Haru asked, clinging to any hope he had left that he will be trained by Natsu.

"I said I would train you, though the rest of you will not be allowed to join," Natsu answered Haru before turning to the rest of Team Erza with a stern expression. Erza opened her mouth to say something but a combined stare from Natsu and Haru made her not say anything, just standing there with her mouth open.

"… All right, but would you tell us why?" Erza finally asked in a defeated tone, knowing that if she tried to force something things would go from bad to worse.

"You won't make the journey, simply put your will is not strong enough," Natsu explained.

"What do you mean by that? I'm pretty sure all of us would survive," Erza asked with a confused expression.

"You may be strong and capable wizards, but your minds are too weak for what is to come. If your will was strong enough you would have passed the test," Natsu stated.

"Test, you mean to tell me that when you almost killed us with that attack, that it was just some test?" Erza asked in disbelief. Gray and Lucy had wide eyes while Happy was preoccupied with a fish he got from somewhere.

"That attack wouldn't have harmed anyone with even a weak will. That is why only the plants were wiped out," Haru was the one to answer the question, getting a nod from Natsu.

"And how do you know that Flame Brain?" Gray finally made himself heard as he questioned Haru's knowledge of what is going on.

"Because Icicle, it's a Draconic Test for young Dragons when they want to further their training," Haru replied.

"Our time here is coming to an end, there will be visitors to this region soon," Natsu said as he started making his way towards the opposite direction of Oshibana and waving his hand to Haru, indicating for him to follow him.

"Should we follow them?" Lucy quietly asked the rest of the team, worry in her voice.

"I'm not sure," Erza replied in an uncertain tone. On the one hand, she wanted to know what exactly Haru would be doing and why their wills were apparently not strong enough, but on the other hand, she didn't want to push Haru away or drive a rift between Natsu and herself. She was secretly happy that he wasn't angry with her about attacking him without a real reason… again.

"No way I'm letting that Hot Head get ahead of me," Gray made his attention on following the two Slayers known.

"If I sense any of you following us, I will kill you without question," Natsu threatened in a deathly quiet tone, his voice being carried on the light breeze and sending shivers down the spines of the Fairy Tail mages.

"Why would you kill us?" Erza asked, there was a hint of fear in her voice, just barely.

"Because to lose one's mind and soul at The Rift is a fate none should ever endure and a swift death is preferred," Natsu answered.

"Guess we will not follow then," Gray said with an involuntary shiver running down his spine.

"Let's head back to Magnolia. We can still do some training and go on a job while we're at it," Erza said, hoping to ensure Gray doesn't do something as stupid as the time he stole the Galuna Island quest.

"That would help me with my rent," Lucy commented, always happy to get more money to help her ever-looming rent.

"Is there a chance that we can go on an S-Class quest?" Gray ventured.

"That is a good idea, Gray. Even though A-Class quests aren't easy by any means, one would be too easy to qualify as good training. Once we return I will go look for an adequate job we can take that I believe will suit our need for good training," Erza said with an approving nod.

"Then let's go, I'm out of fish so we need to stop at the market," Happy said as he discarded the last of his fish's bones.

Fifteen minutes after the two parties parted ways a man in a brown cloak walked down the valley wall and came to a halt at the spot where the group had their encounter.

"Seems like they split up here," the man said before turning away from Oshibana and started following the track of the man he needed to see.

-Gohra's camp-

"What's the headcount?" Gohra asked a man with a scar running along his right cheek.

"Eighty-seven Gohra, three of the weaklings died during the night," the man replied. He had light blond hair and tanned skin. He was wearing a white vest that was open in the front showing his lean body, long grey pants with sandals adorning his feet. On his hip were a long sword and a set of throwing knives.

"That means we are thirteen short. Get Sithria and go find a village to get the rest of the sacrifices, Hardon," Gohra instructed after a moment's thought.

"You will need more than thirteen to compensate for any further losses," the man with long dark hair said as he approached the leader and second-in-command of the group.

"Thirty should be enough. The closest town is about three day's travel. Guess I'll be seeing you in a week," Hardon said as he waved his hand and walked off to find Sithria.

Hardon made his way to the far side of the camp where a large open field surrounded by tall trees were. 'Knowing Sithria, she will probably be firing her magic at the trees like always,' Hardon thought as he neared the clearing. Hearing a few explosions confirmed his suspicion and caused him to walk a bit slower to ensure he wasn't going to be hit in the face by a spell the moment he entered the clearing.

"Sithria, hold your fire, we got a job to do," Hardon called out once he heard a break in her firing.

"And what does that lunatic Gohra want us to do?" Sithria asked when Hardon walked into the clearing after he didn't hear any more explosions.

"Throughout the night three prisoners died so we need to go get some more and to ensure we have enough when we return we're going to get thirty," Hardon said as he walked into the open. Sithria was a slender woman with a moderate bust and long blond hair. She wore tight-fitting beige pants, a sleeveless black vest with a long-sleeved red shirt and a leather shoulder guard on her right shoulder.

"Why should I come along then, you're capable enough to capture thirty people by yourself," Sithria complained, not wanting to go the long expedition to get more fodder for what's to come.

"You want to stay here with the rest of these morons?" Hardon asked with a surprised expression.

"When you put it like that, I guess going on a little trip with the only person that I can stand won't be that bad," Sithria replied.

"While I'm flattered to hear that you can stand me I must ask, why are you even here if you can't stand anyone other than myself?" Hardon asked as he started to make his out of the clearing.

"Same reason you're here. The combination between the chaos we can sow and our final goal," Sithria replied as she followed the light blond-haired man. A chuckle of agreement came from Hardon as the two set out to the town, three day's walk away.

-With Natsu and Haru-

"Natsu, where exactly will we be going?" Haru asked after he was sure they were alone.

"I assume your Dragon never took you to this place. To humans, it is known as The Gateway to Damnation, but to Dragons, it has another name. It goes by Agartha the Core," Natsu replied.

"Agartha, why does that sound so familiar," Haru said to himself as he tried to wrack his brain to figure out where he heard that name before.

"That would be because it is the ancestral home for Earth and Fire Dragons as well as their subspecies," Natsu provided where he would have heard the name.

"We're going there?" Haru shouted with excitement beginning to ebb into his voice with wide eyes and energy brimming around him. Natsu chuckled at the excitement the younger Slayer was expressing and supplied a nod.

"That's amazing. How do you know where it is? Will Igneel be there? Are there any other Dragons there? Why isn't it a commonly known place? What are all the subspecies of Dragons?" Haru started spewing out questions faster than Natsu can even process them. Quickly getting annoyed by his hyper activeness, Natsu called out "Death God's Death Scythe" summoning the black scythe surrounded by purple energy to his hand and turned on Haru with an intimidating posture.

"While I don't mind the questions, if you don't give me time to respond or ask them in rapid succession that I can't get a word in edgewise, I don't see any reason to continue on this journey and I will send you back to your guild," Natsu said in a quiet tone with his eyes glowing purple as he glared at Haru.

"S-Sorry," Haru squeaked out. 'He's even scarier than Erza,' Haru thought as he took a moment to gather his thoughts and think of what questions he should ask as to not anger Natsu.

"It's fine, but mind the one you are asking questions to when you have some," Natsu said, he could practically hear two voices laughing at him, one being Igneel and the other belonging to a short blond-haired girl that seems to be following him everywhere ever since he touched that lacrima.

'You seem to be enjoying yourself, Mavis, now mind telling me why you are here?' Natsu asked in his mind.

'Well, since staying on Tenrou Island can be quite boring I decided to see what you're up to,' Mavis' voice responded which caused Natsu in turn to roll his eyes.

'And mind explaining how you can be here? I assume you can't be far away from your body or something that binds you to a place considering you mentioned an island,' Natsu asked.

'You're a smart one. Yes, Tenrou Island is where my grave and birthplace is. My spirit was bound to Tenrou Island ever since I… died, I guess… so that is why I couldn't manifest in the guildhall or anything. But since you did whatever you did back then it seems that our spirits are bound in some way and that is how I can enjoy some adventure with you," Mavis said with a giggle at the start and a cheer at the end. Natsu let out a sigh before turning his attention to Haru who was beginning to ask a question.

"How do you know where Agartha is? Igneel never told me where it was, only a few things about it and when I asked where it was he said that I wasn't ready yet," Haru asked in a calmer tone.

"I am the son of Draco Mortem, the Death Dragon God, and that means that I need to know where places would be that often claims the lives of those who tread there," Natsu replied.

"Wait, are you saying that a lot of people die when they go to Agartha, but doesn't that mean that the place's location is common knowledge?" Haru asked.

"No, the exact location of Agartha isn't known by humans, only the entrance to the passage that leads there. The reason no one knows where it is, is that all the adventurers that attempt to explore The Gateway to Damnation as they call it, die long before they reach the ancient Core," Natsu explained.

"How do the people die that try to go there, and how will we avoid it?" Haru asked as they continued walking along a forest path.

"The pathway itself is quite dangerous with pitfalls and lava pools all around, but that is easily navigated for an experienced adventurer. No the thing that essentially kills them is that the passageway has a very thin metaphorical wall with the Realm of the Dead, a place where all those who had died wanders. If you can't stare death in the face when you know it's only a visage, humans tend to lose their minds. When that happens, being cautious is the last thing on one's mind," Natsu explained.

"That makes sense, but then what if there was someone who also knows that the things there can't hurt them?" Haru asked.

"As you continue further through the passage, the creatures that dwell there will cause trouble. This is where the last of the humans reach before they die since they can't detect the difference between the visages and the real deal. There is a chance that some of the most experienced mages can detect the difference but they don't see the value in risking their lives for a goal that might only lead to a dead-end, seeing that humans have no idea what is at the end of this passage," Natsu answered.

"So how will I be able to tell what is a visage and what is real?" Haru asked. Natsu pointed at his nose, which was the only indication Haru needed to know he will be able to tell the difference by smell. The rest of the journey through the forest was done in silence, with only the sounds of nature dancing in their ears.

"We will camp here tonight and head in tomorrow morning," Natsu said as they came up to a large cliff with a cave that you could mistake for the maw of a Dragon. The sun had set a long time ago but with the Dragon Slayer's enhanced sights they didn't have a problem seeing in front of them.

"So this is The Gateway to Damnation?" Haru asked.

"Yes, and once we enter that cave we will be there for about a week before we return," Natsu stated as he got a small tent and sleeping gear out of his Re-quip space while Haru took off his backpack and prepared for the night.

"Natsu, what is the next step for Dragon Slayer Magic?" Haru asked. It was on his mind the entire time and so far all he could think of was more advanced Sacred Arts or something like that, but if he had to be honest he had no idea.

"The next step is to manipulate the state of your element," Natsu answered as he got ready to sleep.

"State of our element, what does that mean?" Haru asked confused.

"I'll show you tomorrow, now go to sleep," Natsu said in a tone that ensured that Haru knew the conversation was over. With a frown on his face, he crawled into his sleeping bag, trying to make sense of what Natsu might have meant with 'the state of his element'.

-With Team Erza-

The sun was starting to set as Team Erza arrived back at Magnolia via train.

"There should still be enough time to make it back to the guild and get the mission before they close for the day," Erza said as they walked out of the train station.

"I hope Haru is okay," Happy said as he rested on Erza's luggage.

"Hey, I'm sure he's okay. 'Death Walker' didn't seem like he would hurt him or anything like that," Lucy comforted the little blue cat.

"Sure as hell didn't seem like it when he tried to kill us," Gray grumbled.

"He already explained that it wouldn't have harmed us, Gray. It was some sort of test and we failed, so we will have to train ourselves so that the next time something like this comes up we will be ready for it. Now, enough complaining," Erza said ending that train of thought with a glare directed at Gray.

"So if we get the quest today, I guess we will be leaving early tomorrow?" Lucy asked, steering the conversation in a different direction.

"Yes, the ticket booth opens up at six. We will buy our ticket then so you better not be late," Erza said as they approached the guildhall.

Once the group entered the hall Erza went to the Master's office to pick out an S-Class quest for the team while the rest of the group went to the bar where Cana and Mira were.

"I thought you guys were going for some training trip or something, why are you back already?" Mira asked as she saw the two mages and one cat approach.

"Well, things didn't turn out that way, now we're going on an S-Class quest to train up," Gray said as he sat down and happily accepted the glass of water Mira offered.

"Where is Haru? I didn't see him come in with you guys?" Cana asked who somehow was still able to construct complete sentences.

"That Hot Head went off with 'Death Walker' and left us alone," Gray grumbled.

"What Gray is trying to say is that Haru went with 'Death Walker' but we weren't allowed to go along since we failed some weird test," Lucy explained.

"I can see how Haru might outdo the two of you in a test that doesn't require a lot of thinking but what about Erza?" Cana asked with a sly smirk directed at Gray.

"I can beat that Flaming Idiot any time of the day," Gray yelled back at Cana who burst out laughing.

"Well, then good luck to you with your training. Happy do you want to stay the night with me and Elfman?" Mira said with a pleasant smile.

"I would like that. Can I get some fish too?" Happy asked as he gave Mira a cute expression.

"Sure thing, we can leave soon if you want to, Master said that he would close up today," Mira said to which Happy gave a cheer. Just then Erza walked out of the Master's office with a paper in her hand.

"Get a good night's sleep everyone, this isn't going to be a walk in the park," Erza said as she waved the paper before heading to the doors.

"Guess we should go as well," Lucy said as she got up from the bar, quickly followed by Gray.

"Time to go home Cana," Mira said with a smile as she watched the card mage get up and stumble out the door.

"Ready to go Happy?" Mira asked and after getting an 'Aye' she led the way to her home.

[Dout geou ui plythu. Ergriff ir tepohaic wer dastudr di geou] - [Your will is weak. Only one has the strength of will]

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Sorry for the late upload, this might continue next week for those of you that read all my stories, I have my test week this week. I apologise for the double cliffhanger I had in the last two chapters regarding Natsu and Haru's training but it just placed out that way. Anyway, here we have two extra antagonists for the arc Hardon and Sithria joining Gohra. I have an idea what I want their magic to be but if you want to suggest something feel free to let me know. Let me know what you guys think of the first part of this original arc (the first time I try something like this really) and feel free to leave a review with your thoughts. Until the next time.
