Chapter 27.

Note: Hi guys I am so sorry I haven't been up loading as much I have had the flu and I am trying to edit the first book so that I can publish it as an original, which is a lot more work than I thought it would be. I promise I am trying to get the editing done as soon as possible so that I can get back to writing. Until it's finished I will only be uploading once or twice a week I hope you all understand and I hope everyone is safe and well thank you for being patient. It's a short chapter because I have been researching for the next few chapters, I hope you enjoy it. Xxx

Huldah

She couldn't believe it she had been on this earth for so many millennia, and yet she never thought that she would ever meet the man of her dreams, let alone become a wife and mother. She felt like she was dreaming she had watched her sister Carla fall in love and marry over her long life but she never would have thought that it would happen to her. Yet here she was celebrating her engagement to the love of her life, with the people she loved the most.

She couldn't stop staring at her ring, it was the ring she had been dreaming of but never thought she would get. She knew the second she saw it that Ana had told Beal about it, the ring had been something she had daydreamed about for so long that to finally have it on her finger it felt like a dream she never wanted to wake up from.

She was lost in her own little world feeding her son and staring at her ring when she felt someone walk up behind her chair. "Hi, beautiful are you ok? You looked like you were daydreaming" she smiled to herself then turned to see her future husband smiling down at her.

"Hi handsome, I'm good I was just admiring my beautiful ring, I love it so much it's my dream ring thank you, baby." He kissed the top of her head then pulled out the seat next to her so that he could sit down.

"You're welcome beautiful, I would give you anything you want, you know that you only have to ask." He was stroking Liam's little head and smiling as he spoke, "my favorite thing to see is you feeding our son, it grounds me, and I'm never more at peace than when I am with you and Liam, I can't ever thank you enough for everything you have given me Huldah. I honestly believed I would never find my queen, then I met you and you changed everything, the second I saw you I knew you were the one for me, you're my life I hope you know that."

He looked up at her once he had finished talking and wiped the tear away that was falling down her cheek, she loved this man so much he was her everything. "I am so glad that we met, my world has changed so much, I used to think I was happy alone while I watched those around me fall in love and build their families. Then I met you and now I finally get to be the one to build my own family, and I couldn't have wished for anyone better to do that with, you're my world, you and Liam are my everything and I can't wait to be your wife. Beal, I have been thinking and if it's ok with you can we just elope I don't want a big fussy wedding and I don't want to wait, we could all go from here, it would be so much fun we could take the vacation somewhere else unless you want a big wedding if you do it's fine."

She was rambling and backtracking until she looked at Beal's face again and saw the look of pure joy on his face, but before he could tell her what he wanted they were interrupted. "What would be so much fun?" Zeus sat down in front of her with Pythia on his lap while he rubbed her swollen stomach. Huldah watched as Pythia looked down at her stomach and smiled, and for a second she missed being pregnant until she felt Liam moving his head and holding onto her finger.

"We were talking about our wedding my soon-to-be wife would prefer to elope than have a big wedding, and I couldn't agree with her more, for the simple fact that if we elope we don't need to wait to be married."

Everyone else had taken their seats at the table as the food started to arrive and they all joined in with the conversation. "So when were you guys thinking you want to get married and where?" Carla looked like she was bursting with excitement. Huldah knew that throughout their lives Carla had always felt sad seeing Huldah go through life alone, so she knew that right now Carla would be bursting with happiness knowing that Huldah had finally found her soul mate.

"Well we could leave tomorrow, could we go to Vegas, or is that inappropriate with children?" She knew that it was a place renowned for partying, drinking, and all other kinds of wild goings-on but she had never been and always wanted to go.

"Huldah we can go where ever you want, if you want to go to Vegas we will make sure it's child-friendly I think it would be so much fun."

Ana looked like she was buzzing with excitement. Christian stood up and pulled out his phone, "Christian honey where are you going?" Ana looked up at him looking as confused as everyone else at him leaving the table so abruptly.

"I'm going to find a Villa for us all in Vegas, I am very sure my brother won't be denying Huldah what she wants for her wedding" Huldah sheepishly raised her hand getting Christian's attention.

"If it's ok I would really like to stay in a hotel, we have been cooped up for so long it would be so nice to be around other people, and surrounded by the buzz and excitement of everyone on vacation," Beal stroked Huldah's face smiling at her indulgently.

"Of course we can, I told you already you can have whatever you want I will never deny you anything." All the women around the table sighed at Beal's words and Huldah leaned into his touch practically swooning.

These men may be the scariest men on the planet but when they loved, they loved so hard and they made sure those they loved knew it every day, it was what Huldah had read about in novels her whole life. It's what she never thought she would have for herself, yet here she was staring into the eyes of her future husband, and planning her wedding.

Ana

The excited chatter of everyone around the table continued well into the night, the excitement from everyone was palpable. Ana couldn't help but look over at Huldah throughout the evening and every time she did she wanted to cry tears of happiness for her. Huldah kept looking at Beal and the love she felt for him was written all over her face, each time she would look at him he would quickly catch her staring and smile before he would kiss her gently.

It was such a beautiful sight to witness, she could hear from Huldah's thoughts how she had been resigned to spending her life alone and how she never thought she would find love, or have a family of her own and seeing her now with her little family made Ana's heart sore. She did try not to hear Huldah's thoughts or anyone else's for that matter but with the power that she had no matter the barriers everyone put up they seemed somewhat useless when it came to her, so she would hear everyone's thoughts a lot, she needed to talk to Zeus and work out how to switch this off because even though right now it was sweet to hear what Huldah was thinking it was also becoming a bit of a headache to hear everyone's thoughts.

She shook the negative thoughts out of her head not wanting to dwell on anything bad tonight, not when it was such a happy occasion. Ana sat back in Christian's arms and watched as the twins chattered their baby talk to each other and with Mia and Jamie; it would seem the twins had taught them their special language that the grownups didn't understand, it was incredibly cute to watch.

She also noticed that their table seemed to have got a little audience as a group of women were sat at a table nearby openly and shamelessly staring at all the men. Not that she blamed them it was a table filled with gorgeous men, however, it was very clear that the majority of the men at the table were taken, and yet they didn't seem to care.

She watched in shock and amusement as they flicked their hair and batted their eyes, giggling and desperately trying to get the guy's attention. It was so brazen and obvious and yet not one of the men had noticed, even Christian's other brothers who had come to join in the celebrations and were single hadn't looked at the women.

Christian pulled her from her thoughts by kissing her neck and whispering in her ear "ignore them, baby, no one is interested in them" She looked at him and smiled.

"I'm not upset that they are staring, I get it, I mean look at all of you, you all look like models, I just can't believe how brazen they are its shameless" She laughed which caught everyone's attention.

"Come on Ana, share the joke what's so funny?" Benji looked like he wanted to talk about anything rather than sitting and pining over Artemis. They had both been sneaking little glances at each other all night, she could hear that they both wanted each other but Artemis was so conflicted because of her self-imposed rule of chastity. She wasn't sure if she could give that rule up and be with him, no matter how much she was falling for him.

She decided to give her brother what he wanted so that he had something else to focus on "Well it would seem that you guys have all got yourselves a little audience." All the men groaned and rolled their eyes, and not one of them looked at the women still desperately trying to get their attention.

"Yeah, I noticed that earlier, you would think seeing men sat with their women and children would mean that you wouldn't keep trying to get their attention," Kate spoke loud enough for the women to hear and gave them a glare that made them quickly turn away.

A few minutes later with one last longing look at the men, the group of women stood and left looking a little red in the face, leaving them all to get back on with their evening in peace.

Hades

He stood in the shadows watching his brother and all his happy fucking friends and what would seem to be a very pregnant Pythia and from how his asshole brother was rubbing her stomach he had to guess that he was the father. He hated seeing how happy his brother was and how fucking lucky he was, he looked around the table at all the beings that were laughing and joking.

He watched all of the children playing he could feel their power from where he stood it was incredible how powerful they were for ones so young. The older child reeked of immense power, a power that he wanted for himself but he wasn't sure how to go about this, he knew that Ana was incredibly powerful; she had a power that he craved more than anything but he needed a plan. He knew that he need help and he knew that Nyx the goddess of night would be perfect to help him, along with her brother Erebus they were the parents of and the father of two of the people at the battle that Ana had turned human.

He needed to speak with Erebus and come up with a plan he knew that Erebus liked to be alone as did Nyx, but he had heard throughout Tartarus that he was angry about what happened to his children and could possibly help him if it meant he could get revenge and perhaps reverse what had been done to his children. With that in mind, he took one last look at the group laughing and joking with each other, paying particular attention to the ones he wanted the most then he shimmered out, to start planning.
