Nathair1: Yeah, scry face…he has scary face in my honest opinion. Yeah…he had a reason. A date for the wedding has been set, and yes, Ameri had her heart and dreams crushed. Don't get me wrong, she's a well-developed character and a fan favorite.
Enjoy the next chapter.
Baal panted as he scurried around his quarters, destroying documents and artifacts as he did so. Hearing the door open, he looked up and watched in horror as Henri, Rika and the Thirteen Crowns stepped through the door. He sighed and smiled, "So what do I owe the visit? It's not like a member to approach another member for no-"
"Baal it has come to our attention that you were the ringleader of the organization that has been taken down mere hours ago," Henri spoke, stepping towards the blond demon, "How do you plea in these accusations?"
"What, are you kidding me? And where in the Netherworld did you hear these fabricated lies?"
"You were the one who gave me information about Lord Sullivan going to the human world and abducting a human illegally when no such transaction has be-"
"C'mon, sir," Baal groaned, rubbing the back of his head, "Did you even talk to the brat he hangs around with?" Baal saw the demons look down and he arched a brow, "You didn't, did you? You just assumed since he's one of the Three Greats, he can do no wrong an-"
"We all talked with the young boy, Baal and he's a fine young demon with a bright future ahead of him," Henri narrowed his eyes, "He's also pointed out something that should've been obvious to us, but at the time, a serious crime has been thought and we had to overlook it to see that justice was properly given," he walked over to him and stood above him as the air between them grew intense, "Now, as I was saying, you were the one who gave me information about Lord Sullivan and going to the human world, shortly after bringing Lord Sullivan in for questioning, the Demon School Babylus was nearly destroyed by Third Year Kirio Ami, who claimed to have acted alone, but if you ask me, the timing of both events were too convenient to just be a coincidence,"
Baal growled as he narrowed his eyes and lightning sparked from his fingertips, "Stand down, Baal," Sullivan stepped forward, his eyes glowing a hellish red, "You are outmatched and clearly outclassed in your current predicament," Baal's eyes widened as he felt himself unable to move as a dark aura grew between himself and Sullivan, "You accused one of the Three Greats of an illegal action, nearly had all of Babylus destroyed, and were aiding the Six Fingers in their work of terror. You have brought shame to the Thirteen Crowns and to the Netherworld as a whole.
The day you became a member of the Thirteen Crowns was the day you took an oath to protect the Netherworld until a new Demon King takes the throne and leads the Netherworld into a healing state and bring peace to all kinds, and instead you were led astray by a foolish ambition that never should have been dreamt of. Demons strive to move forward in time, not fall back into the times of our ancestors. We are supposed to help unite the Netherworld, not separate and destroy it."
"What the…why the hell can't I move?"
"And now you will stand trial before the other members," Sullivan looked at the pink-haired demoness beside him and spoke, "If you would, please administer the serum, Asmodeus,"
"Of course, Lord Sullivan," Amaryllis nodded before Sullivan handed her a small vial and she walked over to Baal.
Bringing the vial up to Baal's lips, Amaryllis emptied the contents into his mouth as Baal struggled to spit the serum out. Swallowing the clear liquid, Baal grunted as he hung his head and Sullivan spoke, "As you are aware, Baal, the drug that wa just introduced to your body will force you to speak nothing but the truth, do you understand?"
"Yes," Baal hissed as he shook.
"What is your name?"
"Baal,"
He looked up and saw Sullivan glaring at him with narrowed eyes, "When were you born?"
"The seventh of May 1987," Baal hissed.
"Were you behind the attacks led by the Six Fingers?" Baal grunted as he bit his tongue, "Baal, were you leading the Six Fingers?"
"Yes…I am the founder of the organization,"
"And why would you destroy our way of living?"
"We're demons…we're supposed to cause havoc…devour humans…not live in peace like this…so I gathered up a few schoolmates of mine, designed the Magical Apparatus Battler in order to bring the Netherworld back to Basics,"
The air between the demons grew still before Sullivan continued to ask questions, "Who told you that I had gone to the human world?"
"I have an informant inside of Babylus…an idiot…I forget the bastard's name," Baal hissed, "I had him look around the after you announced your precious grandson…the old bat eventually stopped helping…he said it wasn't worth it and actually liked our way of living, so I had my team put him in the hospital for some time,"
Henri narrowed his eyes as he stepped forward, "What were you doing before we got here, Baal?" Baal grunted as he narrowed his eyes, "Baal, what were you doing before we got here?"
"I was destroying documentations of intended targets, to get rid of many High Ranked demons and to bring the Netherworld that much closer to our roots," Baal narrowed his eyes further before snapping his fingers, the blond demon was surrounded.
Rika looked at her husband and arched a brow, "What are you doing, Henri?"
"My job, Rika. Baal is a threat to the Netherworld and must be dealt with," Henri answered before Baal was led out of the room and Henri followed with Rika following close behind.
Seeing the door close, Levi and Belliard looked at one another before looking at their livelong friend and Levi shook her head, "Sulli," Sullivan hummed and looked at the turquoise demoness in confusion, "That boy…Iruma…did you kidnap him?"
"As I said, I have no comment," Belliard and Levi stared at him as he stretched and smiled, "Now if you don't mind, I need to get home and spend time with my precious Iruma, his little fiancée and their children,"
"Huh…what are you a great grandpa now?" Belliard asked, "When did that happen?"
"Iruma and his little friend Clara stumbled upon two abandoned babies some time ago and have been raising them ever since thanks to our laws," Levi narrowed her eyes as Belliard hummed and shook his head as Sullivan sighed and crossed his arms, "Iruma and Clara have been growing closer ever since and refuse to allow any harm to befall Luna and Sol, and Luna and Sol are very attached to their new parents. Hardly any trouble,"
The two stared at Sullivan before Belliard smiled, "Well, great grandpa, the next time the three of us are together, you should show off some photos of the family," Levi hummed and nodded in agreement before the three of them walked out of the room.
Okay, this story is slowly drawling to a close and I will be working on the sequel soon. Please enjoy.
