"UWAK!"
VOMIT!
SHOCKWAVE!!!
Green Brother was launched from Planeptune as he registered in an unfathomable amount of pain from his abdomen and throughout his entire body as he flew in the sky, completely stunned. His eyes wrre white with shock as his body writhed in agony from the single punch.
ZOOM!!!
He felt his body shooting through the air at breakneck speeds, his blood still leaving his mouth as his senses were reeling from the punch, the pain overpowering them to the point of numbness. His eyes would still be white as he was flying over the seas as he was unable to recover his stamina. The punch had effectively broken his guard as he remained Ssagnant.
WOOSH!!!
But to make matters worse, he would be blasted from within by a fear energy blast that mafe him tumble mid air. He was sprawling as he was forced into even more pain as he was getting abused by an enemy that wasn't even there anymore via a successive hit effect.
FEAR BLAST!
"GAK!"
Smoke waw another thing that would escape the god's throat as he now sustained internal damage from the fear blast as he sailed through the sky. If he were subjected to any more of these attacks, he may not last much longer.
He was being flung towards an island as he slowly begin to descend towards the mass of land. He was only be able to move once he slammed into the ground after crashing through some debris and rubble as he bulldozed into destroyed objects before fina0lly rolling to a stop after a minute of torturous tumbling.
ZOOOM!!
CRASH!!!
SHATTER!!!
CRASH!!!
SLAM!!!
BOOM!!
CRASH!!
TUMBLE!!!
SPRAWL!!!
ROLL!!!
ROLL!!!
ROLL...!!!
*Green Brother stayed in place as he laid on his back, clutching his stomach in pain with shut eyes and gritted teeth.
'Motherfucker... Right in the stomach...! Urgh...' The CPU Canditate cringed as he began to feel again, only to feel suffering.
He rolled to his side as he abruptly reverted back to his human form.
REVERT!
"!" Vergo reacted as he reverted back to his human form. He was still be in pain but would feel much weaker and much more fatigued as he stayed on the ground. His track shirt was completely destroyed as his upper body would be clothed with nothing more than his beaten and torn undervest.
'My HDD form must have helped me resist that punch that Xero gave me. If I was how I am now, there's no doubt in my mind that I would've died from exploding like a balloon.' The CPU Candidate was self aware of his situation as he was still to tired and too damaged to move.
Another thing he became aware about was where his pole was, since it must have reverted if he wasn't in HDD anymore.
'Wait... Where's my staff?' The blonde man asked as he looked around on his side. He didn't have to look for long as he heard the Whistling of an object nearing him as he started to feel something in the wind approaching him.
'I can hear it! But that means... If I factor in the trajectory and the speed, added with the fact that if it's traveling laterally all the way from Planeptune... Bullocks.' The CPU Candidate eyes widened in concern.
R...ROLL!
He used all of his energy to make his body roll, right before the Whistling became very distinct. Only seconds later, did his delicious prove to be right, because...
BOOM!!!
CRASH!
His bo staff had indented itself into the ground right where he was, implying that if he stayed in the same place that his own weapon would have felled him. Talk about a close call.
'Fucking bugger...' Vergo internally snarled.
"Hah...Hah...Hah...Hah..." The green clad CPU Candidate breathed heavily as he looked back. His pole would be noticeably more scratched but was still usable. Atleast he saved something.
...
...
...
THUD!...
He plopped back down as he could not move much from his position as he laid there.
He would be stuck there for a while.
Like a while.
Like 90s internet speed while.
1 minute became 2 minutes.
Then 2 minutes became 20 minutes.
...
After that, 20 minutes became 2 hours.
...
...
And 2 hours became 20 hours.
...
...
...
And 20 hours became 40 hours-
Vergo would have laid on the ruins of a city that was in ruins and rubble for almost two days.
*The ruins of the city he was lying down on, would be Leanbox. How he figured it out you ask? Well...
He was laying down next to a burnt dress that Vert tried to make him wear when he was still living there.
It only drove into his mind even more that it was the dress before the incident that made him leave. The only good thing about the entire situation was that the pole managed to impale the gown.
Childhood trauma terminated. Nation also terminated. Maybe it wasn't terminated after all, considering this entire Shipshewana just gave him new trauma to think about...
Paired with the fact that this was the place where he sensed for life in Leanbox. Which happened to be near the Basilicom.
But as he laid there, his mind wandered as he sensed the battles that were taking place in Planeptune and Lowee respectively.
He felt the battle between AL and Citadel heating up with their engergetic pressute alone being unreadable to him they had reached out of his sensing capabilites after only a half an hour of sensing.
The fight between the Planeptunian CPUs, Brave Heart and Xero would have take a similar turn after some more alloted time, about two hours if he remembered correctly.
And the fight in Lowee, would still be raging on, but the powers would have emulated the results from the other two after 5 hours.
So in the end, Vergo was left with no one but himself as he would have been looking up, unable to even shut his eyelids from the pain after the adrenaline winded down, paired with the uncertainty of the results of the battles.
But being in Leanbox brought him a somber feeling of nostalgia and a pang of pseudo peace.
He wasn't be able to recognize anything he had seen shortly before ending up in the position he was in, but he would have recalled back to all the memories he had with Vert, the Basilicom staff, and even Chika in some instances as he reflected in strained silence.
"For the rest of the time, he simply thought about the memories he had with them, and how it wasn't all that bad.
He had some memories of him enjoying being with them and upon further self introspection, had left them for a misconception that could have been easily solved if he would have stayed long enough for his attacker to be stopped. Or knocked out.
He just wanted to live at that point, ok?
Vergo started to feel like a pretty D tier human being, or rather CPU Candidate, scratch that, CPU of no nation, since his predecessor was dead and the nation he would have probably inherited alongside its people were reduced to ashes.
Way to do the one thing you were born for, bruv. Fortunately enough, no one's left to record the biggest fuck up in Leanbox history. Wait, that's... Wow, this timeline is screwed.
He wouldn't have even noticed the waterworks that welled in his eyes as he remembered all the wholesome moments with his sister as he remained stationary.
Vert did not like him at first from how she remained neutral while dealing with him, which made him harbor some animosity deep within for her before even a week had passed due to her secretly wanting a sister, yet receiving a brother, but she would slowly, and he meant slowly grow to like him when they had similar hobbies.
Such as video games and tea, and started to have pleasant conversations about 4GO, and different maid maid butler outfits as they interacted with one another more like siblings as time went on. Her attitude around him started change as she became more friendly, and treated him like an actual family member that he was supposed to be to her. And in turn, the hidden animosity began to crumble as he learned to cherish his sister back as she made it clear that he was loved by her through the bonding they shared from time to time.
However, that did not mean that he would melt for whatever request that she gave him, nor that he agreed with everything that she wanged him to do, as she would have an obsession with yaoi which was something that he made clear from his introduction to it that he was not comfortable as she constantly tried to get him to join the yaoi side and put on all kinds of BL outfits that he vehemently refused every single time.
That put a small dent in the relationship, but it didn't break it. Yet.
Another thing that she frequently attempted to get him to do was crossdress with very girly outfits such as frilly dresses and cosplay which he really had nothing against, but would rather stay true to the clothing style that he preferred, with the odd flamboyant clothing piece from a certain bixzare anime. Even through their differences as dislikes, just like with any family they would still care about each other at the end of the day.
Another person that he didn't completely hate when he really thought about it was Chika.
At first, she was very much against his entire existence, declaring herself Vert's real sister and that he was some kind of imposter or invader that was posing as one from another dimension, a spy sent to assassinate her, a perverted fanboy that wanted in her closer- basically anything to invalidate his relation to Vert.
It made the CPU Candidate gain blatant intolerance towards her, as she would constantly tried to make him look bad and antagonize him at every opportune moment, even with Vert talking to her about it numerous times. It annoyed him to no end as she spent her free time if she was around him to mess his day up or make snide remrks him for the sole reason of being related to Vert.
Her treatment made him moody and equally harsh to her back. It usually escalated until Vert would eventually have to step in and make them begrudgingly reconcile before a altercation broke out, usually the greenette about to incite it. Their coexistence would be rocky at first, but they slowly learnt to tolerate each other's prescense and would eventually be speaking on a less disrespectful and more business terms.
It was as close as he was probably going to get, unless something drastic happened.
Which it did. But he didn't count the apocalypse making it twice.
But the day of the kiss momentarily broke their establishe relationship as the Oracle chased him around with her spear for hours on end as the boy got the hell out of dodge, i.e. the green beast's path as he ran away from the Basilicom and down the road. He hasn't seen her since he left, and now he feels remorseful for letting her die without clearing up the accident. Even if she didn't want to hear his explanation, he still owed that to her atleast. Guess the ship sank with that one.
She was still a bitch to him, so he could curb SOME sadness. Not all of it, she was still someone he was around a lot, but some.
And the final group he wanted to remember in their honor would be the staff members. They always treated him with respect, not out their job description but rather from his personality. Albeit that he was the first CPU Candidate for Leanbox, and was male no less even if the latter was normalized through Nebula Gris with the addition of Domio being a thing, but that dulled the point.
He was polite to them on the basis of the manners that Vert had taught him, and mostly polite to everyone he met. This garnered the mutual respect of the workers that would work for him by proxy because of Vert, and treated them as fairly and kindly as possible to make them feel as if he was an important friend as well as their guardian deity. He also noted that he was quite popular with the female staff for some reason, especially the maids, just as how Vert had an interest thing for the butlers at those cafés she liked to go to. One of the maids even tried to press their bust into him for a hug on purpose just to get closer to him.
Yeah, he had the makings of a harem protagonist. But rather than dense, he was Inexperienced, so he just let it happen. Not like he couldn't show some love to his people.
But he still felt bad for leaving them behind, and ultimately to die just like all the citizens that he would have had to look over and protect one day. Guess it's never now.
The men, women and children had perished because of Citadel. And he felt wholly responsible as he laid there.
Unmoving, like all of their corpses would have been, before being destroyed completely.
The bloody cuts and scratches on his body dried, but he still felt immense pain as he was bound to the ground.
"And Nepgear thought she was useless. Too bad she dosen't know who was actually useless this whole time. Grk..." Vergo would clench his fists weakly, as he looked ahead.
"If only... If only I wasn't so bloody useless!..." The green man self depreciated.
His voice ramg out through the ruins as he would be met with nothing but silence.
"If only I was stronger...! If only I was here! If only!" He shouted out as he wailed, being reduced to a weeping state for once as he cried
"IF ONLY THEY HADN'T INVADED! DAMN YOU, CITADEL! DAMN YOU, YOU LAWFUL EVIL BASTARRRRRRRRRRRD!!!"
Vergo's voice rang out as he continued to sob and cry.
As he wept, a figure would appear behind him as the space would distort for a fraction of a second, similar to a dubstep fart noise from a bizarre anime.
BFFT!
"I-I-IF ONLY-" He fell over his own words as he wept.
"If only you'd stop saying that." The voice spoke out, breaking the spiel as Vergo stopped in his tracks.
*I understand that you're grieving, but now you're just sounding like one of those stereotypical whiny brats who blame everything for their situation on themselves." The man said as he would look down at the god.
He had silver hair that was spiky and stopped at his nape, and would be reminiscent of it being longer, but was cut for some reason. He also had grey eyes that both had vertical scars that looked down at the CPU Candidate with serious glare, with his face looking more aged than his past counterpart.
He wore a formal shirt that was grey and was rolled up a bit as it would be in the form of cuffed sleeves from his forearms. His pants were also buiness as well being black, and his belt would... Also be black with a yellow belt buckle. He had on some metal tipped dess shoes that would be dark brown as he stood over Vergo. He was battle damaged however, as he would be littered with small injuries on his body with a busted lip and bloody nose as his shirt would only have one ripped sleeve on his right in tact left, and his left pant leg would be gone up to his knee with the fabric being ripped all around. His shoes beaten as his blood would be on them, as well as his clothes as the man gave a dull glare to the blonde CPU Candidate.
"Gris... Sensei?..." Vergo asked as he looked up.
"I sensed a lone signature in Leanbox, and decided to investigate. I was tied up in Lastation dealing with one of the VPUs for the last 2 days. I got here as fast as I could once I recognized it to be your signature." Gris told his student as he outstretched his hand as he would acquire a white glowing outline.
AURA!!!
HEAL!!!
Vergo was fully healed in an instant as he felt the effects of Gris' temporal healing. Hr always wondered why it was so powerful, but he also knew not to look a gift horse in the mouth, so he paid it no mind for now.
The blonde god arose as he was fully healed. He then grabbed his pole as he faced the mentor.
"So is that why you were the only one in Lastation that I sensed?" Vergo asked.
*"Yes. Noire Uni have... fallen in battle... The only reason I survived was due to my time manipulation, after that pink haired bitch decided to kamikaze." Gris explained as he looked his student in the eyes. "The world is coming to shit, and we're dropping like flies. Lowee and Planeptune are the only nations that are still somewhat intact." The god would continue as he would explain.
"So what about Planeptune? Did they manage to beat Xero and Citadel?" Vergo would ask with held back fear.
"I'm going to be honest with you. As much as I want to say that they kicked the shit out of that lawyer and his brother who looks like he pleaded insanity, the anwser is no." The damaged CPU anwsered.
*"No?! THEY'RE ALL DEAD!?" Vergo would ask with upmost despair.
"Well, Nebula's alive. AL sacrificed himself to buy enough time for him to teleport somewhere else right after the Nep Sisters fell. They did well to protect their country, but with Citadel on the scene it was only a matter of time." He specified as Vergo would respond.
"Why are the CPUs falling so quickly?! Aren't they supposed to be on par with you guys?!" Vergo asked a very good question as Gris healed himself as he explained.
AURA!
HEAL...!
"Do you remember the beginning of the invasion, when whoever came to Planeptune released a city wide attack? It wasn't to directly attack the CPUs or draw their attention to engage with them." The former assassin started to explain.
"It wasn't? Then why the bloody hell-" Vergo gained a face of scrutiny and confusion as he was cut off.
"It was to kill off all of the citizens empowering the CPUs with fsith so that they would be cut off from their power source. Those who weren't killed off immediate were hunted down by the armada of monsters from a portal in the sky that lesded to a place called Negadimension to quell any resistances and reduce the population to zero in the rest of the cities that were nearby like Haneda City or Midgard City. Once that was through, he'll even underway, the strength of the CPUs would dwindle as they fought and they were defeated." The god continued as Vergo finally understood why Xero basically nuked Planeptune.
"They would really kill millions of innocents just to make their plan foolproof? Snuff out the lives of an entire continent for whoever the bloody hell their working for? Are they mad?" Vergo was truly in disbelief, even after witnessing Citadel marionette and murder murder child in cold blood.
"It's low and vile, but this is by no means new to them. Those gods have purged entire worlds. star systems, galaxies, UNIVERSES AND DIMENSIONS even. The only reason we were exempt was due to my, Domio's and Nebula's power being non reliant on belief but rather fighting experience and the technique that Nebula taught yousaving you from the undesirable effects of share deficit." Gris recalled as he would be there in Lastation as the VPU that came to Lastation would have done the same as he would have been forced to fight her off with the Lastation Sisters.
Vergo stood in stunned silence. So they've killed not millions, but trillions upon trillions, and Gamindustri was next one their hit list. The thought of Destruction was probably second nature to them at this point, and if they weren't following some type of organized plan, they could have just destroyed everything leave? It took some time for Vergo to get out of the dwarfism of ability compared to the VPUs as he was then patted on the shoulder by Gris.
PAT!
"Verg. Are you still with me?" The man asked, seeing that his student had been in space with a mortified expression.
"Y-Yes, I'm quite alright." He lied, but shook off the feeling of insignificance and continued.
"How do you even know their plan...?" Vergo questioned the god as he would anwser.
"The VPU that fought me thought that she was so powerful that she could babble the plan without consequence." Gris smirked as he laughed a te thought. "Even the best have the braindead." He rubbed under his nose.
"Who was she?" The CPU Candidate asked.
"A promiscuous goddess named Vhestora." The god named.
"Is she defeated?" The green god would ask.
"Does a bear shit in the woods?" The silver haired god responded with some sarcasm.
*"Not anymore, I'm afraid. Kuma, alongside my hope for Gamindustri probably died some time ago after getting pummeled twice." Vergo sighed.
"Hey, being emo and edgy is my shtick. Cheer up, Verg." The older god cut off the emo speak.
"But what do we do now?..." Vergo wondered as he looked into the night sky.
"We go to Lowee. It's the last stronghold of Gamindustri right now. We lose that, and we lose everything." Gris informed as he would have finished healing.
"But how are we gonna get there to help them in time?" Vergo looked back to Gris as the god then transformed.
PILLAR!
TRANSFORM!
Edge Heart appeared in the flesh as he looked mostly similar to his past counterpart. The only difference was that his bangs were reduced to a singular bang as he had his scythe which would look exactly identical to the one he gained all those years ago. He opened his eyes as his black eyes with white power signals looked at Vergo as he would continue the conversation.
*"Stand still, young warrior." Edge Heart told the CPU Candidate as he put his hand on his shoulder. The scenery then instantly change as the dubstep fart would sound.
BFFT!
"?!" Vergo reacted as the temperature had suddenly dropped to freezing temperatures. He felt frigid, but atleast he was in Lowee.
"We've arrived." Edge Heart told the blonde as the latter looked around. They were in the middle of the destroyed ruins of Lowee with smoking buildings. The sky was still cloudy and red as the wide portal would be open and stagnant. The sounds of battle were heard as multiple magic spells would be thrown around as pillars of fire, tornadoes, thunder showers and hailstorms would assault an area as shockwaves could be felt all the way from where the two warrior gods stood.
FLAME PILLAR!!!
LIGHTNING BOLTS!!!
TORNADOES!!!
HAILSTORM!!!
SHOCKWAVE!!!
SHOCKWAVE!!!
SHOCKWAVE!!!
"Are you ready, Vergo?" The black clad god asked his student.
"Looking back on the fact that I've been grossly outclassed in every match against these wankers, then I'll look on the bright side and say that third time's the charm. Even if it's most likely false hope." The divine blonde respond as he felt the hand being removed from his shoulder.
"Impractical outlook for morale, yet impressive idealism for drive. I'll allow it." Edge Heart noted as he sae that the man closed his eyes.
Vergo shut his eyes and unleashed the technique once more as his aura would burst. He then tried to transform, but would only raise his power.
BURST!!!
...
...
...
"...If that's the best you can do, then you should probably flee for the final battle... Even false bravado will not save you from utter defeat at this point." Edge Heart advised with concern as he twirled his scythe.
"Damnit! What's the thing the CPU Candidates say to transform, again?" Vergo tried to use that method to transform as he was peaking.
*"You mean the same phrase that we used to say when we were new CPUs? 'It's 'Access'-"
"ACCESS!"
PILLAR!
TRANSFORM!
Vergo was engulfed in the white pillar of light as this time, digital white numbers with green outlines would encircle the pillar. The light soon subsided as Green Brother reappeared. His lance returned as he would grip the weapon with the determination as he transformed. He roared as be would be releasing a Hellish Holler as his eyes snapped open.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR!"
WINDWAVE!!!
The green god returned as Edge Heart gained surprised look on his face as the windwave would blow away debris. Green Brother then stopped screaming as he breathed out heavily as he turned to the single hair bang god.
"You learnt how to transform?! By Celestia, the world really is ending..." Edge Heart was agape as the CPU Candidate frowned.
"Too soon, Gris. And why is it bad? You'd think it'd be welcomed since it's an extra comabtant." The purple eyed deity deadpanned.
"Reasons that we don't have time to discuss with right now. You're not used to your new weapon, you have no idea how many shares you consume, none of your moves carry over from a blunt weapon to a stabbing one. But we must digress." The mentor expressed with a neutral tone.
"Way to greet reinforcements, mate." Green Brother looked down.
"You misunderstand, I meant no harm. It's just that your inexperience... No, stop that at once, Vergo. You WILL be useful and you WILL survive." The scythe god clarified.
"I...I hope so, Gris." Green Brother shook his head as he then point towards the fight with his index as he doubt was momentarily gone.
"Lead the way, sensei. I'm not feeling like being targeted for being in the forefront."
"It is usually the one in the flank that is targeted." Edge Heart rebut.
*Then let's fly side by side. We've wasted enough time chatting." Green Brother anwsered as he would fly towards the battle.
FLY!
ZOOM!!!
The two gods flew towards the battle as the shockwaves became bigger and bigger as they approached, and felt the intense energetic pressure of the people that were fighting.
Vergo was be knocked into by a figure as he would be crashed into.
WOOSH!!!
*"?!" The greenette squinted his eyes as he would brace himself.
GUA-!
CRASH!!!
"SHITE!" The green haired god vehemently swore.
"UAK!" The deep voice guttered as they collided mid air-
-Before being hit by a body. The two were thrown from momentum as they crash into the ground with some snow and rubble being flung into the air.
CRASH!!!
SCATTER!
"It hasn't even been 60 seconds...!" Edge Heart then turned and raised his scythe as he blocked a blast that caused him to be engulfed in smoke.
BLOCK!!!
EXPLOSION!!!
The god then shot out of the smoke cloud as he was followed by a incredible fast moving person, which would then cause some clashes in the air as blades collided and sparks flew as the two phased in and out of existence.
ZOOM!!!
WOOSH!
CLING!
CLANG!!
CLASH!!!
Meanwhile, Vergo raised up as he held the person that slammed into him by the shoulders. Then another male, around 6'1", possessing cyber grape color hair that faded to lilac, as it was nape length and had some neat large bangs that hanged around his eyes. His eyes were admiral blue as they possessed the trademark white power symbols that all CPUs possess.
His dark grey spandex body suit with red, yellow, green and grey accents wouldn't be able to be properly described, due to it being beaten off of him, exposing his musclar torso and shoulders that would be scratched and cut all over. His hands with futuristic gloves and fingers would be blasted off as he would have his fingers exposed as his lower half of the spandex was ripped as well to his mid thighs. His futuristic boots were be damaged as well as a toe could be seen as the person was breathing heavily.
His flight processors were two rows of holographic parallelograms, that were glowing black as they would be flickering from the decreased amount of share energy they would have left. Their deep breaths could be heard as Vergo realized who the CPU was.
"Master Domio?" Green Brother asked as the man turned around.
His eyes widened as he would see that it was a CPU that had caught him.
"It's me, Vergo. Who managed to rough you up like this?" The green god asked as he helped up the much shorter, elder god.
Domio did nothing except point at the direction that a clash of weapons was occurring.
SHOCKWAVE!
SHOCKWAVE!
SHOCKWAVE!
"Oh, so Gris Sensei is fighting the bloke... Neato." Green Brother observed as he would then felt prescense of two other powers, both familiar as he widen his eyes.
Domio reacted in a similar fashion as he turned around. But his expression contorted from one of surprise and relief to a mortified look of fear.
"Wait. Why are you looking like that- Oh, fuck me." Vergo exasperated as he cursed harshly, seeing the brothers that were Xero and Citadel holding the CPU Candidate twins Rom and Ram by their heads.
They were severly damaged ashey would be injured, with their faces bloodied and their bodysuits teared up a bit from the fight.
"Please... Help us...!" Rom begged as she had tears running down her eyes. She was be exhausted and drained from all the fighting and the lack of faith from Lowee's dead followers.
"They ganged up on Blanc! They... Killed her!" Ram told the two as their eyes would shrink from the bombshell.
"Blanc's gone too... They've killed all of them...!" Green Brother let the fact hit him as he stood there, his lance hand shaking from the revelation.
"That's right, blonde bitch! We killed all of them! Every last CPU and CPU Candidate except for these little shits, AND YOU!" Xero bragged as he used his free hand to point to Rom's head, before at him.
"Eep!" The blue haired CPU Candidate would flinch.
"I for one, am looking forward to end this annoying brat's life." Citadel stated as he used his free hand to make a gun sign and put his fingers to Ram's head.
"Let go of me, you dummy!-" Ram demanded as she would begin to struggle. The word dummy became a trigger word for Citadel at this point, and he instinctively reacted.
She soon stopped however as her head was clutched harder as she screamed in pain.
CLUTCH!
"GYAAAAAAAAH!" The pink haired Loweean CPU Candidate cried out as tears would well up in the corners of her eyes. The blonde cringed as the elder god seethed, seeing the showcase of cruelty.
*Tch!" Domio growled as he manifested his ice gauntlets as he clenched his fists.
CLENCH!
FREEZE!!!
"Children should be seen, and not heard. If I hear one more line of defiant idiocy escape your lips, I will slam your skull into the fucking pavement." Citadel warned as his eyes were constricted as he looked at Ram.
The girl was silenced before quickly nodding, effectively being shut up.
"Back to what I was saying, the only ones left to die before we start hunting you down are these two loli baby bitches. And we're gonna do it by BLOWING THEIR FUCKING BRAINS OUT BEFORE WE MUTILATE THE BODY AND FEED THEM TO THE LANDSHARKS!" Xero screamed as Rom began to cry from the things that she woyld be subjected to.
"Waaaaaah!... I-I want B-Blanc!" She wailed. A vein formed on Xero's head as he would give her a look that ensured pain and suffering as he cussed the child out.
"YOU BETTER SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU WHINY BABY BITCH BEFORE I GIVE YOU A REASON TO CRY LIKE THE PATHETIC SLOW CHILD YOU ARE, FUCKING MENTALLY CHALLENGED DISAPPOINTMENT! I KILLED YOUR LOUDMOUTH, PIMPLE NIPPLE SISTER AND I'LL POP YOUR HEAD LIKE A FUCKING WATER BALLOON IF YOU KEEP CRYING LIKE A PUSSY!" Xero yelled that even made Citadel cringe a bit as the two heroes were all but livid as Rom would have become paralyzed with fear.
"You better take everything you said about Rom back, you menace to society." Green Brother threatened as he raised his lance to the god.
POINT!
"Or what? You'll get the shit kicked out of you again? And die just like your big titted bimbo bitch of a sister?! Like the failure of a CPU that you are?!? Don't make me laugh!" Xero was on the verge of laughter from the fact that Green Brother still thought he could challenge him after he literally punched his ass to a ruined Leanbox.
*Grrr...! WHY I OUTTA-" Green Brother got ready to charge as Domio zoomed past the green god, and would close the distance between himself and the two gods as he shismed both his fists into the fear deities' faces.
PHASE!
DOUBLE FIST!!!-
SHATTER!
The gauntlets instantly shattered as they were taken by surprise as the purple haired god grunted angrily as he materialized his gauntlets again before zooming ahead, engaging with the two deities as his eyes became dots as he would yell out in rage.
BIFF!!!
SHOCKWAVE!
FREEZE!!!
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The god of few words roared.
ZOOM!!!
The twins were released from the VPU's vice grip clutches as they fell. Vergo stabbed his lance in the ground as he then increased the density of the air beneath them to prevent them from hitting the ground.
CUSHION!
LAND!
The two twins landed on the dense air as Vergo rushed over to them.
He gave them some of his KI to keep their consciousness as their share energy plummeted from their lack of followers.
BURST!
Thier states only improved marginally as they started to suffer from the effects of having low enough shares to be considered fatal. Their energy signatures were dimming as they woulbarely had the faith of the gods that were alive to power them. They wouldn't be able to stay in HDD for too much longer at the rate the situation was going.
Green Brother had no idea how to save them. He didn't even know if he could save them. The feeling of crippling futility would return to him as he would stare at the fading CPU Candidates as he would stand above them, unable to help them in the slightest, as everyone else was preoccupied with their battles.
"There has to be something I can do...!" The green god brainstormed as he gave the twins a set amount of KI with each passing second, that would keep their conditions stable, but was nevertheless in a life threatening state.
BURST!
BURST!
BURST!
Green Brother tried to keep them alive as long as possible, for the slight chance that they could have been saved from the clutches of death, but they suddenly vanished as he waa caught off guard.
VANISH!-
"...?!" The greenette registered the CPUs being missing as he then turned to their signatures, which would he held up by Xero.
"Blondie's trying to save you shits! Not on my watch! We all know where this shitshow is gonna go, so let's just skip to the end, shall we?" The god referenced as he raised the heads of the CPU Candidates as their limp and drained bodies follwed
"I... I don't wanna die... Ram...!" Rom would cry as she sobbed.
"Me neither... Rom... Blanc's gone and Lowee's destroyed too..." The pink haired Candidate would bring up. Her features began to warp into unbearable sadness as well, but was son the cusp of shedding tears.
"I KNOW THAT THIS BITCH IS NOT CRYING! NOT AFTER I TOLD HER NOT TO FUCK UP AND THE SHE STARTS SOBBING!" Xero intentionally shouted, just to scare Rom. The display of cruelty did not go unnoticed as Green Brother would react accordingly.
"YOU LET THOSE TWO GO RIGHT NOW, YOU PRETENTIOUS PRICK!" Green Brother snapped at the god as he rushed him with his lance, using the air to move faster as his wings would propell him forward.
DASH!!!
WOOSH!
FLY!!!
THRUST!!!
PHASE!
"!!!" The greenette would realize that he missed the god and turned around.
PISTON KICK!!!
BOOM!
CRACK!
"FUCK!" Green Brother swore as his jaw was forcibly cracked from the sheer impact of the piston kick to his face.
He dangled in the air for a bit before stabbi g his lance into the ground, using it as a support as it tore through the ground as he was halted to a stop.
TUMBLE!-
STAB!
SLIDE!!!...
He then looked up and saw that he moved to be on top of a destroyed building, the lightning crackling behind him as the booming of thunder made it only even more foreboding as it began to rain once again as he held the two Candidates up into the air.
THUNDER!
LIGHTNING!
DOWNPOUR!...
You girls want to see your sister again?" Xero's voice uncharacteristically softened as the twins would sniffle and sob as they had not the strength to anwser him.
Green Brother squinted his eyes as he made out to hear what the man was saying as he focused his hearing through the downpour. His clothes that were just dry had managed to become as sopping wet as they were a couple days ago.
They nodded, hoping that the man would stop and do something nice for once, their blood stained clothes becoming drenched in the rain.
"Really?" He asked, a raised brow. The green haired god didn't like where this conversation was going so he gripped his lance, getting ready to attempt to do something.
That would probably flop. A for effort, though.
Oh how they fatally underestimated the savagery and twisted mindset of the VPU.
And right as Brave Heart arrived on the scene with his teleportation...
TELEPORT!-
"THEN I'LL BLOW YOUR BRAINS SKY HIGH, SO THAT YOU CAN SEE HER IN THE AFTERLIFE! GOOD RIDDANCE!"
DOUBLE FEAR BLAST!!!!!!
The brain matter of the twins were exploded as it flew in the air. Their bodies wemt limp as their heads were blown to kingdom come as their bodies fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes. Blood rushed out of their necks as their corpses would make a loud thud on the ground, the recoil making them bounce as the edgy god jumped from above and stomped on them so hard that their bodies were donuted in both shoes as they were now stained blood red. Their organs could be heard being crushed into fine paste as their bodies would twitch from the force of the stomp as his shoes would be bathed in the blood of Rom and Ram.*
JUMP!
PLUMMET!!-
STOMP!!!
IMPALE!!!
CRASH!!!
...
...
...
The mortification that washed over the two present gods made them stick in place. Green Brother felt a awful sensation rise uo from his stomach, as he felt lightheaded from seeing an exception performed on Rom and Ram that would belong in the Immortal Kombat series. He fought the urge to cry for the umpteenth time as he might vomit and weep simultaneously if he did so.
Brave Heart floated in silence as his eyes were dots, his breathing hitched as he saw the last remaining of prior familiarity be brutally murdered in front of him. His clenched fists tightened as for the first time in years, he felt a bubbling sensation of unadulterated rage, directed to the same VPU who had caused him nothing but problems from the day he met him.
"Child death is always a great warm-up for getting the blood flowing for a brawl. The squirming shits just exude fear. It's just as cathartic every time. You should try it." Xero explained as he let out a sigh of satisfaction.
"You killed them all... YOU KILLED THEM ALL, YOU FUCKING PSYCHOPATHS! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE, YOU DEMENTED DEMONS! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS!? WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE THIS?!" Green Brother's tolerance had been finally been pushed over the edge as h had to witness a scene that would make any rational and sane person either cry from unshakable grief or writhe in unadulterated wrath. The green god felt both as his mortification and depression twisted into an unhealthy amount of anger.
"Well, didja expect us to just sit around and plot forever like a bunch of obscure Saturday cartoon villains? Or fuck up in the end like them? No, you dumbass. This shit was planned for years, decades before you were born. The only mistake you made was being born, because it's a mystery to me why somebody hasn't killed you off as yet during this invasion. Or why you survived two attacks from me." Xero explained as he fild his bloody arms.
"This truly is the worst timeline." Brave Heart snarled in disappointment and restrained anger as Xero Green Brother would look over to him.
"First you attack Planeptune. Then you murder Histy in cold blood by punching right through her like butter before exploding her corpse with fear energy. After that, you watched and cackled as your troops massacred the population, even indulging in the violence yourself. Neptune Nepgear were distraught and angered from their mother figure's death, so they wasted no time in challenging you alongside me. But even the power of the goddesses were no match for you, simply because you targeted the population before attacking them directly. You even brought my parents out of their retirement home just to kill them right before me like the petty psychopath you are. You even killed off Mr. Mūten, who was nothing more than a sad man after you mentally shattered him, and stomped Kars like he was an ant under your shoe. But even then, you still managed to do something else as you killed off the Nep Sisters right before the survivors as they would have been swiftly killed off by Citadel himself. After that, you two would have ganged up on AL as he sacrificed himself just so that I could escape and recover and when I arrive at Lowee, the first I see is YOU EXECUTING ROM AND RAM!" Brave Heart screeched out as a vein would form in his head.
*And so what? You're mad that the villains are winning? That we thought of every contingency? That we made sure nobody from outside this dimension could interfere? Tough tits, Bitch Heart." Xero trash talked as he gave a condescending smirk.
The blue god's eyes went blank with rage as his face become show visible veins as he yelled at the god.
"I KILLED YOU ONCE, AND I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU AGAIN! THIS IN UNFORGIVABLE BY EVERY RATIONAL STANDARD! I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO STAND! I'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" The blue haired CPU yelled at the top of his lungs.
BURST!!!
GRAVITY!!!
RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE!!!
WINDWAVE!!!
Brave Heart was releasing a hefty amount of power as he lost it.
From everything that he would have witnessed, with Xero's jabs would be the straw that broke the camel's back. The ground around him depressed as his aura flared as a blue epicenter that blended to orange. The ground shook with the rage invoked into his being as he caused some dust to blow back from the windwave.
"YOU HAVE GENUINELY ANGERED ME!!!" The Wrathful god roared
SHOCKWAVE!!!
A Hellish Holler would have been released from his voice woth the power booming from it alone as the fighting between Domio and Citadel, and Gris with the mystery fighter ceased.
"Oh, that's a weeaboo line. How predictable." Xero would laugh."
"YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!" The blue god snapped at his apparently revived opponent.
BURST!!!
"What pissed you off the most about today? I killed your parents, I killed your master, I killed your divine bottom bitches, I blew up your nation, I killed two moe blobs, or that I called you a weeb or..." The red god paused.
"Or?" Green Brother asked as Xero gave him a psychotic grin before looking back at Nebula.
"Or raping your disemboweled wife before killing her in front of your childer, only to drwon them in the ocean before feeding them to some tiger sharks." Xero goaded.
...
...
...
"What is wrong with you?!" Green Brother asked, disgusted to his core.
WARP!!!
SIDE PUNCH!!!
BOOM!
"YES!" Brave Heart anwsered, too furious to form a full sentence.
"BWAK!" For the first time, Xero expelled blood from his mouth in the fight.
Brave Heart moved so fast that it would have appeared that he had warped space itself. He drove his gravity fist into the solar plexus of Xero as he coughed out blood as he gained a sickening smile. The red god kicked away the corpses of Rom and Ram to Green Brother right before he was hit.
"Triggered?"
"LIKE A FEMINAZI! THE FUCK YOU JUST SAY TO ME YOU LITTLE SHIT!" The blue god memed voraciously.
The two disappeared as there would be a multitude of shockwaves and flashes in the air with static that was red and blue that bounced around as the remaining fighters that were in their own battle soon joined in to assist their respective side.
With the two teams fighting, madness ensued in the skies as they would move all around Lowee- No, all around Gamindustri as their battle heated up to the point that the entire planet began to rumble from the battle as several large shockwaves that caused the ground and any objects to be blown away by the tremendous force of their blows. The ground did all but shake like if the author himself was jackhammering into the floor as Green Brother could only watch as he was hammered the realization for the thousandth time that he was hopelessly outmatched.
GINORMOUS SHOCKWAVE!!!
BOOOM!!
TREMORS!
ENORMOUS SHOCKWAVE!!!
CRASH!!
RUMBLING!!!
SHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKE SHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKE SHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKESHAKE SHAKE!!!
"Yikes!" Green Brother yelled as he got off the ground as he would grab his lance, the only thing that made him feel relevant and important at the moment as he would watch in awe and shock of the damage that was being caused.
Lightning poured down as the oceans would be thrashing and rolling into waves that could be considered as tsunamis as they crashed into the shore repeatedly. The smell of ozone was ever apparent as the CPU Candidate had to dodge the lightning bolts as he moved sporadically to avoid being struck down.
LIGHTNING!
DODGE!
LIGHTNING!
WEAVE!
LIGHTNING!
VANISH!
LIGHTNING!
ZIG!
LIGHTNING!
ZAG!
And to make things even harder to survive during the end times of Gamindustri in its final hour, the constant pressure from the fighting above his flight path caused pillars of hot magma to shoot out of the ground and fly straight up to the clouds as they would be spilling large drops of volcanic rock all over the place as the earthquakes triggered the volcanic eruption of many geysers of long dead volcanoes as they would become yet another obstacle as the CPU Candidate doged not only lightning, but magma pillars and magma rocks as well as he flew over Gamindustri to survive for as long as possible.
FLY!!!
MAGMA PILLAR!!!
"Shite!"
MANEUVER!
LIGHTNING!!!
DODGE!
'When I saw that homeless bloke a couple of days ago yell about the end of the world withdrawing from his coke addiction, I didn't know he was right on the FUCKING MONEY!-' Green Brother widened his eyes as he would be knocked back from a gigantic shockwave that would have sent him flying. He would have sent the last 6 hours dodging and staying alive, and his nuzlocke on surviving Armageddon may had been cut short by an offhanded clash.*
GIGANTIC SHOCKWAVE!!!
"UAAH!" The greenette yelled in surprise.
The CPU Candidate was knocked into the wayside as he tumbled and was struck by several lightning bolts as he flew across the sky. He was be given a break from the apocalyptic shock therapy until he would have crashed into a damaged building as he went right through the structure. He was then be pelted through several more office buildings before he skidded to a stop by a stairwell, only to tumble down the bloody thing as he would now be in a subway terminal.
SHOCK!
SHOCK!
SHOCK!
SHOCK!
SHOCK!
"For fuck sake-"
CRASH!!!
"Bloody hell-"
CRASH!!!
CRASH!!!
CRASH!!!
BOOM!!!
TUMBLE!!!
TUMBLE!!!
FALL!!!
CRASH!!!
SKID!!!
TUMBLE!!!
SLIDE...!
The falling had finally stopped.
...
...
...
"...How could this happen to me... I've made my mistakes... I've got nowhere to run-!" Green Brother stopped his pity party singing after lying on the destroyed and quaking subway terminal as a rock would fall on his face.
FALL!
IMPACT!
"!... Where am I... Wait, this is Lastation." The green god realized as he would have gotten up and shook his head before getting up and looking over to a subway map sign that said it was the Lastation Terminal Legend.
He would raised up as he would then run out of the quaking subway terminal, looking at the bodies that would be stabbed, mutilated or... naked with the smell of sex fluids on their bodies. Even the children, that sick whamen. Did Vhestora really diddle kids.
Was nothing sacred to these VPUs? Guess not, if this timeline is facing Armageddon .
The lone god flew out of the terminal and land on the ground as he exited the underground building. He was met with a giant shockwave that slammed him into the terminal entrance roof.
MASSIVE SHOCKWAVE!!!
SLAM!!!
"ARGH! That shockwave's hitbox is bloody wonky, I'd say." Vergo cried in pain as he was shot into the entrance from the intensity of the clash. The surrounding buildings collapsed as the shaking finally ceased and the lightning would decrease in number for the while.
COLLAPSE!!!
COLLAPSE!!!
COLLAPSE!!!
The gods separated as they stared each other down.
Brave Heart had ripped spandex as his abdomen's right side would be exposed as his gloves would have been destroyed, leaving only the sleeves. His boots suffered the same fate as only the mouth would have survived somewhat. His lower spandex woudl be ripped off up to his thighs. His face was furious as he stood next to his friends.
Edge Heart lost his entire torso spandex, as his body would be littered with cuts and scratches with some bruises. His gloves were completely blown off as his bloody fists were clenched with his scythe in hand. His boots were damaged as his toes could be seen as he stood there with a stoic yet determined glare. He twirled his scythe before gripping it as his hand squelched.
SQUELCH!
Domio stood tall with basically the same amount of battle damaged clothes, because if he lost anymore, he'd be fighting practically naked. His expression was silent fury as his brows furrowed, the blood and bruises only making his visage all the more intimidating.
Xero was shirtless as he doned mad grin on his face from all the punches thrown and blades clashed. His pants were ripped and teared as his bandages would be barely in one piece as only a quarter of the original amount of tabe was left. He stood alongside his brethren as he would be cracking his knuckles.
CRACK!...
Citadel was without sleeves as his shirt would be busted open and holes were torn through from his battle with Domio as his tie was gone. His dress were also torn as well, resembling shorts as they were ripped. His gloves, now fingerless as his arms were folded as his expression was no longer dull but rather alert and calculative. He glanced over to Green Brothet before looking back at the trio of gods
And the last person would be rather short at 5'5". They possessed ginger orange undercut that woud be parted right down the middle, with some black glasses resting on his face that were surprisingly only cracked. He had wearing a white lab coat that would have been ripped, bloodied and shredded as his sleeves would be gone and the lab coat would only go up to his waist.
He had on an olive green undershirt that had the sleeves busted off as well as there would be some tears and rips in the fabric with his blood as he wore some black office pants as well that would ripped up unevenly with the left pant leg being thigh high as the right one was knee high due to the fighting. His shoes were some sneakers that were forest green with a white midsole. He also wore some chemical gloves that were dark aquamarine as they would be fingerless and more importantly, holding two futuristic syringe guns.
They would be white in color with a vial sticking out the top of the gun. It glowed green liquid as it radiated toxicity and malice. Instead of a red cross sign that the syringe gun models would usually possess, this one was a biohazard sign, branded on the outisde side of each gun.
His expression would be one of nothing but fascination and excitement as he got to try out his expiremental guns and other inventions and such in his enemies.
"Had enough yet?" Xero asked
"Shut up." All three CPUs told the shirtless DPU.
"Hoes mad." Would be his response. "Is what I would've said if they weren't all already dead." He sniggered.
"The cavalry arrives to the decided battle. The exodus of Gamindustri and its people has already ended. All that's left is you three." Citadel referenced the fall of the CPUs as Brave Heart growl.
"It's not over till it's over, Phenoix Wrong." The blue CPU God defended their cause as he raised his fist to the DPU.
"Ooh." Edge Heart acknowledged the insulting nickname.
"I wouldn't be so invested in their squabble, Blunt Heart." The scientist reigned in the god with a remark, that caused him the give him a sharp glare.
"You don't talk much, so I'm just going to roast you relentlessly-" Xero was cut off with the quickness.
"You live in your brother's shadow." Domio shot back, a voice deep enough to thwart his rather short stature.
"Shut the hell up." The venom eyed god spat as his grin faltered.
"It's useless, Xero. The man has you beat." Brave Heart smirked, finally seeing something eternal under the god's skin.
"That analogy of uselessness shouldn't be flung around so carelessly, lest you accept that you were the very same amount of useless in keeping Gamindustri safe." The orange haired DPU brought up in a nasally voice.
"Shut the fuck up, you manlet. You get off on poking people with shared needles like a back alley doctor." Brave Heart rebutted.
"Do not mind Dr. Hazard's comparisons. No matter how they look at it, our team synergy far outclasses theirs. If we continue the current attack formation, then our victory will be assured." Edge Heart calmed down the emotionally tampered Brave Heart.
"..." Domio gave a thumbs up to Brave Heart as the blue god would then sigh before clenching his fist.
"Right. And even if this is Gamindustri's final moments... I'll make sure each one of you will rue the day you decided to destroy this dimension." The martial artist god promised as he pointed in their direction and looked each of them in the eyes.
"Shiver me timbers, guys! Nebula is angery! Oh what will we do?!" Xero mocked before he would gain a sinister grin.
As he grinned, Green Brother fe from the entrance landed on his feet. He then vanishes and reappeared next to the group as he would give his piece.
LAND!-
VANISH!
REAPPEAR!
"Piss off and die. That'd be catharsis incarnate." Green Brother anwsered as Domio nodded in agreement and Brave Heart voiced his approval of the idea.
"I completely agree with him. The time I spared your life I should have used it to send you straight to Hell!" Brave Heart snarled.
"Oh, the disappointment. Fancy seeing you here." Citadel greeted as he would roll his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, talk big now. Because we'll defeat you for good!" The purple eyed deity narrowed his eyes as he lowered his tone on the last word.
"This is coming from someone who has not been bested once, but twice by both of our powerhouses? You're delusional if you think you have even a single percentage of probability for victory." Dr. Hazard told the CPU Candidate as he closed his eyes and shook his head.
"Tch!..." Green Brother scowled. At this point denying it would truly be delusional as he would be outmatched.
But even if the odds were impossibly stacked against him, he wouldn't back down. He'd fight to the bitter end as his sister had for her nation, and Gamindustri as a whole. At the very least he would die with his masters, as he was pretty sure all his human friends were long gone. He asked for a fight some days ago and now he got the one of his life!
If only it didn't mean the end of the world.
The greenette felt the waves of fear energy that rolled off all three gods as they stared up at him. Even if they were smaller than him, size was the furthest thing from the deciding factor. He broke in a cold sweat as he gripped his lance.
But then Citadel closed his eyes for a brief moment, before widening them with the change of his pupils being upside down power symbols. The result of his eyes changing would cause many portals to be opened up around the sky, and would soon spread around all of Gamindustri as the fabric of space itself began to be distorted.
DISTORTION!
Within the tears would be swirls and vortexes of outside space as the dimension was beginning to be crushed by other parallel universes that would be appearing all over the world. The tears would expand even to the reaches of the universe as the tears would not stop.
EXPAND!
"?!!" Green Brother was at a loss for words as he saw the dimension itself be put under pressure as rips and tears appeared and grew like no tomorrow.
"Citadel's Demigod State. It's prescense alone can cause the dimensional boundaries of space to be crushed by alternate universes..." Dr. Hazard muttered as Green Brother would overhear him.
"WHAT?!" The exclamation flew out the green god's mouth as he would look up and around. Even if he was going to die from this fight, he didn't want to be subjected to some fate worse than death with these portals.
"Shit. Vergo can't survive in multiversal space. We have to get him out of here." Brave Heart told Edge Heart as he nodded. The scythe god could see the fear building up in the tallest hero's face as he would then open a portal.
He turned around and use his scythe as he would charge it to the max before making a single slash as a green portal appeared, morphing into a wormhole.
CHARGE!!!
SLICE!
PORTAL!
MORPH!!!
"!!!" Green Brother reacted as he looked at thr wormhole. Everyone else sans the two gods in black and blue replicated the reaction as they too observed the portal.
"Wait... Are you...?" Domio asked as he would look at the black clad edgelord.
"I'm doing exactly what you think I'm doing. Vergo is not in the slightest ready to participate in a battle of this magnitude. I'm sending him back into the pass to our former selves. He will be able to grow and develop as he learns how to use his CPU powers." Edge Heart explained.
"You're sending him back? I don't think so." Citadel said in a booming voice as he would go for the kill.
DASH!!!
CLASH!
PUSH!!!
Before being intersected by Brave Heart and Domio as they held him back. They pushed him away as the suit clad got grimaced.
"But are you sure there isn't any other way I can help you fight them?" Green Brother asmed as he would be relieved that he got to live with this idea, but he would never find out what happened to his masters.
"This is the only way, Vergo. You said if only you were stronger? Well this is your chance. Go back, train yourself and develop your abilities. Rendezvous with our past selves and forge your bonds all over again. Make new bonds with those you could not in this time. And find aid your sister. Do not reveal yourself immediately, but rather approach her as a stranger as she will be more open with you that way." The black hair god started.
"That's nice and all, but where are you even sending me?" The CPU Candidate asked.
"The time I am sending you too is when the Deity of Sin was the main problem. We defeated it, but it was through reforging a cursed sword, called Gehaburn. Take this to prove the authenticity of your mission." Edge Heart explained further as Brave Heart materialized some items and handed them to Green Brother.
They were Neptune's D-Pad clip, Noire's blue and black hair ribbons, and Blanc's baby blue neck ribbon.
GRAB!...
"How do you have these things...?" Green Brother questioned the god as he would anwser.
"Plot... And looting dead bodies- Look, I'm trying, ok? What, do you want the author to explain it to them or something?" He acted defensively with the newest CPU.
"Fuckin' hell." The purple eyed deity stifled laugh as the god still managed to be meta, even in the messed up situation that they were in.
If only he were the bard, his meta music would bring victory. Wait... OH NO, NOT LYRICA-
Domio then nudged Green Brother's shoulder before he would offer a fist bump.
"Good luck." He would say in a voice full of bass and depth, slightly breaking to show some emotion.
"Yeah... I'll need it." Green Brother responded as he went to the portal.
"Don't think you're safe, blonde boy." Xero called out the CPU Candidate as he turned around.
*After we kill these three stooges, we're coming for your head next. You can run from the inevitable, but it'll always come no matter how hard you try. So go in the portal. We'll be kicking the prophecy child syndrome out of you faster than you can say 'I should have stayed in bed today'." He threatened as he pointed accordingly. *
*Yare yare daze- SHUT THE FUCK UP, XERO! YOU ANNOYING PIECE OF SHIT! I AM ONE PLOT POINT AWAY FROM SHOVING MY FOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS THAT YOU'LL HAVE A STROKE EVERY TIME I WIGGLE MY TOES!" Brave Heat cried in outrage at the god for ruining the sentimental moment.
"Well then, I presume we've let the sob story sad boy shenanigans play out for long enough." Citadel would state. "Let's get down to buisness, gentlemen." Citadel announced as a black pillar of fear energy would rise from the ground around him.
FEAR PILLAR!!!
"I concur. Time to transform, allies. The fodder has decided to depart." Dr. Hazard spoke out as he let dark green pillar of fear energy erupt from beneath his feet as it shot up into the sky.
FEAR PILLAR!!!
"Well boys, what are we waiting for. Let's fuck 'em up!" Xero yelled as a red pillar would shoot up from his feet. His muscles bulged as his eyes turned white, limiter rings dissipating. He stretched his arms as he smiled with ill intent.
FEAR PILLAR!!!
"Leave now, Vergo. You can trust us to deal with these accursed ruffians. We will undeniably send them to their graves." Edge Heart turned towards them as a white pillar of energy shot from his body.
AURA PILLAR!!!
"Yeah! I'll give 'em each a punch to the face for ya!" Brave Heart promised as a blue pillar with an orange outline would burst from within as it flew up.
BURST PILLAR!!!
"Hmph." Domio hummed in contempt before a pillar of pure magic would rise from the ground as it flashed many different random colors as it pierced through the skies. He flexed as he did, and roared as the ground began to shake once more as the lightning showers would come back in full force as the dimensional tears would hasten, leaving less and less room to move around to for non-powerful beings that could survive in 4D space.
LIGHTNING SHOWERS!
DIMENSIONAL TEARS!
RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE!!!
'Time to get the hell out of dodge!' Green Brother internally yelled as he looked towards the wormhole.
"Oh, and before you go, Vergo." Citadel beckoned the CPU Candidate.
"What." He asked.
"I feel it necessary to leave a piece of information with you about something." He gave a upbeat look.
"Spit it out, I've got plans." The green god grunted.
"Before I killed Vert in cold blood, I lopped off her breasts like a 1300s guillotine. You should've seen the look on her face, I've never seen a woman so heartbroken of flesh in all my millenia of living. Mind telling her that for me?" He smiled.
"YOU BLOODY ARSEHOLE!-" Vergo almost threw himself at the god before being gravitated into the wormhole as he quickly pocketed the items as the wormhole would close before all remaining space in the universe would fade to nothing.
"I... I'm speechless... Absolotely horrifed, but speecless..." AL told the time traveller with eyes the size of saucer plates as Vergo shown the group the items that Future Nebula would have given to him.
They were understandably bloody and damaged, but still recognizable, even though none present would have seen the goddesses in their human forms before.
"So am I." Nebula spoke as the group jumped. He was conscious for the last 30 minutes as he listened to the recollection.
"What the hell?!" AL jumped.
"Bloody hell, Nebula!" Vergo shouted, nearly dropping the items.
"Holy shit!" Gris would curse unapologetically.
"Ah!" Domio yelped in surprise.
"How long have you been awake?!" AL asked his best friend that was slumped over his shoulder.
"Ever since he transformed in his backstory. I have so many questions though... AL was a demon? Gris lost hair? They planned out their assault for 20 FREAKING YEARS?! And I curse out a manlet? You're only 10? years old? Vert got her tits chopped off? You kissed a 40 year old? The future is weird." Nebula contemplated ast the dystopia would become a reality if nothing would be done to prevent it.
"We already have our hands full with the Deity of Sin, and now we have to deal with those bastards after. And I said something about a holy sword to defeat it? Know anything about that?" Gris asked as the present's threat would be top priority, as they could then condition for the one half a century from now.
"Nope. I never even heard about Gehaburn until I had to time jump. We'll have to cross that bridge when we got there. But for now..." Vergo paused as they would be upon the outskirts of Leanbox.
"Let's go to Leanbox, mates." He would finish as he would stuff the items back in his pocket with the group nodding in agreement.
"I just have one thing to say about your story, Mr. Vergo." Domio asked the blonde bloke.
"Ask away." Would be Vergo's response.
"What happened to Ram Rom...?" He asked, with some tears in his eyes.
"I... Don't know. But it's better that way. Atleast you didn't have to see it, Domio..." The CPU Candidate comforted his sensei's past self as he gave him a pat on the back.
"Can we not talk about that scene?...Everytime I think about it, it makes my blood boil as a loathe Xero with all my being for themany war crimes he committed." Nebula requested as he was put down by AL as he got onto his feet before he started to walk.
"Agreed. I knew he was a bastard, but I didn't think he was the scum of existence." AL said as he felt some anger from imagining the scenario.
"Enough hating on a guy who isn't even from this timeline. We have to get to the city to rest and recover." Gris told the group as they had become bothered by talking about the unfortunate event.
"Right. We should be making great time with how not a single monster has attacked us as yet throughout my entire backstory. It's almost as if a force had prevented it." Vergo commented.
"It was a force. And it was called the author-" Nebula was cut off.
Shush.
"Fair enough." The blue boy shrugged before continuing.
"Well that settles that... But what about your share energy levels? Shouldn't they have hit rock bottom since you have no one to believe in you? Nor do you have a Sharicite to link with?" AL would ask.
"The sustainability technique that Nebula's future self would have taught be should keep me for a day or two at this rate. It was how I managed to lie down in the same place awake and in pain for 40 hours." Vergo reminded as Gris copied the things he said on the destroyed Leanbox
"If only! If only I were stronger! If only I wasn't an elite mook!" The assassin jabbed.
"That's harsh, but yes, I did say something of the sort." Vergo said as he looked away.
"Don't mind him, he's just salty that he lost his hair." AL brushed off as the hitman growled.
"Right." Vergo nodded with a smile as he looked to the intact nation as his hair would move in the soft breeze as he would have a hopeful look in his blue eyes, ready to help his past sensei anyway he could. It was almost as if... He was being blown by a golden wind of reinvention.
Cue the piano, people.
A/N:
THIS right here, is probably the most fucked up chapter I've wrote so far in terms of how dark it is. I tried my best take it seriuos enough to be an important plot point, and lighthearted enough to not mesh woth the mood of Neptunia, but dystopia plus Rom annd Ram's... The dark won out, ok.
And the kicker is that I held back.
I could have shown the deaths of all the CPUs, Makers and other important characters, but at that point it would become something that would make me question my sanity, and morality. Rom and Ram was ironically the only two that would drive the point of actually how cruel the Future VPUs were, to the point that they would remorselessly kill defenseless children, without having to cause anymore on screen death... while being the most controversial characters to abuse, which would for sure make people hate the VPUs.
If you can't hate someone who literally Mortal Kombat fatalities Rom, you either hate her or don't know her.
I feel like I'm gonna get shit for this, but moving on.
So I basically confirmed the Holy Sword ending with this chapter. Why pick it over the True Ending? Well, because it just personal preference and the fact that the DoS actually DIES with the sword being used on her. In the Conquest Ending, she comes back from however long to finish off Conquest!Gear, in Normal Ending , she's sealed and can probably come back since the others came back the same way, and in the True Ending, if even one person decides to worship the DoS again, she returns.
Holy Sword was the only way. And it's better overall, in my honest opinion.
And on a brighter note, if you didn't guess, Domio is the GameCube!
Now, I know what you're thinking, but the GameCube already exists in Hyperdimension! Or atleast it's Gamindustrian counterpart does! Then think this: Is Hyperdimension the only dimension in canon? Wasn't there another dimension?
Exactly.
Making his aura the Super Star was just a meme. I had to do it.
But, that is all for now, so I bid you adieu.
Arrivederci.
